PRAYERS OF THE FINAL PROPHET (SAAWW)
7. HIS DUA WHEN ENTERING AND LEAVING THE MASJID (MOSQUE)
36. From al-Shaykh al-±£s¢ XE "al-Shaykh al-±£s¢" in al-Maj¡lis: Narrated from ~Abdill¡h ibn al-°asan from his mother Fatimah bint al-°usayn from her father from ~Al¢ XE "~Al¢" G: Whenever the Noble Prophet XE "Holy Prophet" 9 entered the masjid he would say:
أَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ.
O All¡h XE "All¡h" ! Open for me the doors of Your Mercy.
And when he used to leave he would say:
أَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رِزْقِكَ.
O All¡h XE "All¡h" ! Open for me the doors of Your Sustenance.[i]
37. From al-Tabari in the book al-Im¡mah: Narrated from ~Abdill¡h ibn al-°asan from Fatimah al-Sughra, from her father al-°usayn, from Fatimah al-Kubra bint Rasulillah, peace be upon them all: When the Noble Prophet XE "Noble Prophet" 9 entered the masjid, he would say:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ. أَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْلِي ذُنُوبِي وَ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ.
In the name of All¡h XE "All¡h" . O All¡h! Bless Mu¦ammad XE "Mu¦ammad" and the progeny of Mu¦ammad, and forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your Mercy.
And when he came out he would say:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ. أَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْلِي ذُنُوبِي وَ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ.
In the name of All¡h XE "All¡h" . O All¡h! Bless Mu¦ammad XE "Mu¦ammad" and the progeny of Mu¦ammad, and forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your Grace.[ii]
