Ziarat After Salat
Salutations / Ziaraat after prayer Imam Reza (a.s.) was asked about the method of offering salutations to the Prophet (a.s.) and his Ahl al Bayt (a.s.) after the mandatory prayers. The Imam (a.s) asked one to say the following:
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللَّهِ، اَلسَّلا عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صِفْوَةَ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِينَ اللَّهِ، أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ نَصَحْتَ لِأُمَّتِكَ، وَ جَاهَدْتَ فِي سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ، وَ عَبَدُتَهُ حَتَّى أَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ ، فَجَزَاكَ اللَّهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا جَزَى نَبِيًّا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ، اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
As salaam alaika ya rasool allah wa rahmat ullahi wa barakatahu ya Mohammed bin Abdallah as salaamu alaika ya khairatillahe as salaamualaika ya Habeeb Allah as salaamualaika ya sifwat allahi as salaamualaika ya ameenallahi ashadu annaka Rasool allahi wa ashaduannaka Muhammad ibne Abdallahi wa ashaduannaka qad nashata leummeka wa jahadta fi sabeele rabbaka wa abdutahu hatta ataakal yaqeena fajazaakallaha ya rasool Allahi afzala ma jazaee nabiyan ummehi alla humma salle ala Muhammadin wa aale muhammedin afzale ma sallaita ala Ibraheema innaka hameedun majeed
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of God, and God’s mercy and blessings. Peace be upon you, O Muhammad bin Abdullah. Peace be upon you, O the best of God. Peace be upon you, O Beloved of God, peace be upon you, O elite of God. Peace be upon you, O Trustee of God. I bear witness that you are the Messenger of God, and I bear witness that you are Muhammad bin Abdullah, I bear witness that you have been sincere towards your nation, and have striven in the path of your Lord, and have worshiped Him until certainty has come to you, so may God reward you, O Messenger of God, with the best. No prophet can be rewarded for his nation. O God, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad the best of all that You blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
Ziyarat Imam Hussain AS
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الْفَضْلِ الْعَبَّاسِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA ABA ABDIL LAH AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YABNA RASOOL-UL-LAH AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YABNA AMIR UL MOMINEEN AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YABNA FATIMATUZ ZAHRA AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA ABIL FAZLIL ABBAS AS SALAAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATUL LAHI WABARAKATUH.
Peace be upon thee, O Imam Hussain. Peace be upon Thee, O son of Holy prophet Peace be upon thee, O son of (Imam Ali) the Commander of Faithful Peace be upon thee, O son of Fatima Zahra Peace be upon thee-O Abbas (son of Imam Ali) Peace be upon thee, and the mercy of God and His Bounties
Ziarat Imam Mahdi (ajtfs)
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَاحِبَ الْعَصْرِ وَالزَّمَانِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجَانِّ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَرِيكَ الْقُرْآنِ الْأَمَانَ، الْأَمَانَ، الْأَمَانَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA SAHIB UL ASR WAZ ZAMAN AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA IMAM AL INSI WAL JANN AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA SHARIK AL QURAN AL AMAAN, AL AMAAN, AL AMAAN AS SALAAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATUL LAHI WABARAKATUH ALLA HUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIN WA ALI MUHAMMAD
Peace be upon thee O king of the times Peace be upon thee O Imam of men and jinn Peace be upon thee O Companion of Qur'an Keep us under your protection Peace be upon thee and the mercy of God and his Bounties O our God, bless Muhammad, and the Progeny of Muhammad

Ziyarat Imam Ali ibn Musa ar Ridha AS
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا غَرِيبَ الْغُرَبَاءِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَلِيًّا ابْنَ مُوسَىٰ الرِّضَا السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA GHARIBUL GHURABA AS SALAAMU ALAIKA YA ALI IBNE MUSA AR RIDHA AS SALAAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATUL LAHI WABARAKATUH.
Peace be upon thee, who lies far away from his domain Peace be upon thee, O Ali son of Imam Musa ar Ridha Peace be upon thee and mercy of God and His Bounties






15.Ibn Babawayh (i.e. Shaykh al-Saduq) mentions one should say the following litany immediately after reciting Tasbih al-Zahra':

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
allahumma anta alssalamu
O Allah, You are the [source of] peace,

وَمِنْكَ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wa minka alssalamu
peace is coming from You,

وَلَكَ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wa laka alssalamu
peace is for You,

وَإِلَيْكَ يَعُودُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wa ilayka ya`udu alssalamu
and to You does peace belong.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
subhana rabbika rabbi al`izzati `amma yasifuna
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe.

وَسَلاَمٌ عَلَىٰ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
wa salamun `ala almursalina
Peace be on the messengers.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
walhamdu lillahi rabbi al`alamina
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ
alssalamu `alayka ayyuha alnnabiyyu
Peace be upon you, O Prophet.

وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu
Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ ٱلأَئِمَّةِ ٱلْهَادِينَ ٱلْمَهْدِيِّينَ
alssalamu `ala al-a'immati alhadina almahdiyyina
Peace be upon the Imams; the guides and well-guided.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ جَمِيعِ أَنْبِيَاءِ ٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ
alssalamu `ala jami`i anbya'i allahi wa rusulihi wa mala'ikatihi
Peace be upon all Prophets, Messengers, and angels of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَىٰ عِبَادِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلصَّالِحِينَ
alssalamu `alayna wa `ala `ibadi allahi alssalihina
Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ عَلِيٍّ أَميرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ
alssalamu `ala `aliyyin amiri almu'minina
Peace be upon `Ali, the Commander of the Believers.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَسَنِ وَٱلْحُسَيْنِ
alssalamu `ala alhasani wal-husayni
Peace be upon al-Hasan and al-Husayn,

سَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ أَهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَجْمَعينَ
sayyiday shababi ahli aljannati ajma`ina
the two chiefs of all the youth of Paradise.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٱلْحُسَيْنِ زَيْنِ ٱلْعَابِدِينَ
alssalamu `ala `aliyyi bni alhusayni zayni al`abidina
Peace be upon `Ali the son of al-Husayn, the Adornment of the Worshippers.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ بَاقِرِ عِلْمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ
alssalamu `ala muhammadi bni `aliyyin baqiri `ilmi alnnabiyyina
Peace be upon Muhammad the son of `Ali, the splitter of the knowledge of the Prophets.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلصَّادِقِ
alssalamu `ala ja`fari bni muhammadin alssadiqi
Peace be upon Ja`far the son of Muhammad, the veracious.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ٱلْكَاظِمِ
alssalamu `ala musa bni ja`farin alkazimi
Peace be upon Musa the son of Ja`far, the suppressor of rage.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَىٰ ٱلرِّضَا
alssalamu `ala `aliyyi bni musa alrrida
Peace be upon `Ali the son of Musa, the amiable.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ٱلْجَوَادِ
alssalamu `ala muhammadi bni `aliyyin aljawadi
Peace be upon Muhammad the son of `Ali, the magnanimous.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْهَادِي
alssalamu `ala `aliyyi bni muhammadin alhadi
Peace be upon `Ali the son of Muhammad, the guide.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ٱلزَّكِيِّ ٱلْعَسْكَرِيِّ
alssalamu `ala alhasani bni `aliyyin alzzakiyyi al`askariyyi
Peace be upon al-Hasan the son of `Ali, the bright and resident of `Askar.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحُجَّةِ بْنِ ٱلْحَسَنِ ٱلْقَائِمِ ٱلْمَهْدِيِّ
alssalamu `ala alhujjati bni alhasani alqa'imi almahdiyyi
Peace be upon the Argument (of Allah), the son of al-Hasan, the Assumer and the well-guided.

صَلَوَاتُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعينَ
salawatu allahi `alayhim ajma`ina
Blessings of Allah be upon them all.

After saying this litany, one may pray to Almighty Allah to grant him all his personal desires.
