Peace be on you, O the Apostle of Allah. Peace be on you, O the chosen one of Allah 

Peace be on you, O the trustee of Allah.

Peace be on the one whom Allah selected and distinguished an preferred from the whole of mankind…..

Peace be on you, O the friend of Allah till the time the night remains dark and gloomy and the day bright and radiant.

Peace be on you till the time the silent one remains silent and the eloquent continues to utter and the star continues to give light and the mercy of Allah and His Blessings be on you.

Peace be on our master, the leader of the faithful,

Ali son of Abu Talib, the possessor of precedence and virtues and esteem and the destroyer of magnanimous armies, the severe in retribution, esteemed in strength, firm in foundation, the one who will provide water to the believers in goblets from the Pond of the Apostle, the powerful, the trustworthy.

Peace be on the possessor of intelligence and virtue and bounties and honor and bestowal.

Peace be on the knight of the believers and the lion of the monotheists and the killer of the polytheists and the vicegerent of the Apostle of the Lord of the Universe and the Mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Peace be on the one whom Allah aided though Jibraeel and assisted through Meekaeel and whom He has made proximate to Him in both the worlds and has presented him with everything which smoothens the eyes and blessings of Allah be on him and his pure progeny and his noble sons and on the rightly-guided leaders. Those who ordained the good and forbade the evil, have made prayers obligatory upon us and ordered us to give the poor-due and introduced to us the fasts of the month of Ramadan and the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Peace be on you, O the chief of the believers and the leader of the religion and the guide of those with radiant foreheads.

Peace be on you, O the door of Allah.

Peace be on you, O the ever-vigilant eye of Allah and His stretched-out hands and His retaining ear and His far-reaching wisdom and His abundant bounty and His branded branded chastisement…

Peace be on the distributor of Paradise and Hell.

Peace be on the bounty of Allah upon the righteous and His punishment upon the debauchers.

Peace be on the leader of the pious, the outstanding one.

Peace be on the brother of the Apostle of Allah and his cousin and his son-in law and the one created from the same clay as him.

Peace be on the eternal root and the honored branch.

Peace be on the fruit

Peace be on Abul Hasan, Ali.

Peace be on the tree of Tuba and the lote-tree (in the seventh heaven).

Peace be on Adam, the chosen one of Allah and on Nooh, the Prophet of Allah and on Ibrahim the friend of Allah and on Moosa, the one who conversed with Allah and on Isa, the spirit of Allah and on Mohammad, the dear one of Allah and those who lived between them from the Prophets and the truthful ones and the martyrs and the righteous ones and they are the best of friends. ..

Peace be on the light of the lights and on the progeny of the pure ones and the pillars of the righteous ones.

Peace be on the father of the reverent leaders

Peace be on the strong rope of Allah and His firm side and the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings

Peace be on the trustee of Allah in His earth and His Caliph and the one who judges by His commands and is upright by His religion and utters by His wisdom and acts upon His Book, the brother of the Apostle and the husband of the immaculate (Fatemah), and the ever-drawn sword of Allah.

Peace be on the possessor of the clear proofs and the evident signs and the overwhelming miracles and the rescuers from perils, the one whom Allah has mentioned in the clear verses. Then He, the Exalted, said: And surely he is near Us, in the mother of the Book as the high (Ali), the wise. Peace be on the contended name of Allah, his radiant visage and His elevated side and the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings (be on you.). …

Peace be on the Proofs of Allah and His Vicegerents and the chosen ones of Allah and His notables and His sincere ones and His trustees and the mercy of Allah and His Blessings (be upon you). I have come to you, O my master, O the trustee of Allah and His Proof as a visitor, cognizant of your right, a friend of your friends and an enemy of your enemies. I seek proximity to Allah through your visitation, then intercede for me near Allah, my Lord and your Lord for my deliverance from Hell-fire and the fulfillment of my wishes, those of this world as well as the hereafter.

Then touch the shrine with his body, kiss it and recite:

Salutation of Allah and salutations of His proximate angels and of those

who submit by their hearts be to you O the command of the faithful, and of

those who extoll your virtues and bear witness that you are truthful,

trustworthy and testify unto you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings

be on you. I bear witness that you are pure and blemishless and purified

from a pure, chaste and immaculate lineage. I bear witness for you, O the

representative of Allah and that of His Apostle with conveyance and

observance (regarding the message) and I bear witness that you are side of

Allah and His door and that you are a beloved of Allah and His visage

through which He is approached and that you are the way of Allah and that

you are the servant of Allah and the brother of His Apostle, peace be on

him and his progeny. I come to you, seeking proximity with Allah the

Honored, the Exalted, by your visitation, yearning for your intercession, I

desire, by your intercession, my deliverance from Hell-fire, I seek your

refuge from Hell-fire running away from my sins which I have loaded on

my back. I came to you fearful (on account of my actions) but hopeful of

mercy from my Lord, I come to you, seeking your intercession, O my

master, and I seek proximity near Allah through you so that, on account of

you, He may fulfill my desires. Then, do intercede for me, O the commander

of the faithful towards Allah. For surely I am the servant of Allah and your

friend and your visitor and you have a famed status near Allah and an

esteemed position and a lofty status and an accepted intercession. O Allah!

Bless Mohammad and the progeny of Mohammad and bless the

commander of the faithful. Your contented servant and Your most loyal

trustee and Your strong rope and Your lofty hand and Your elevated side

and Your best word, and Your Proof upon mankind and Your greatest

testifier and the leader of the vicegerents and the pillar of the

representatives and the support of the chosen ounces, the commander of

the faithful and the leader of religion and the guide of the righteous and the

chief of the sincere ones, the protected one from mistakes and free from

errors and purified from any defect and cleansed from any doubts, the

brother of Your Prophet and the vicegerent of Your Apostle, the one who

slept in his bed (on the night of migration)

and was ready to sacrifice his own life for him .and remover of calamites

that befell him. The one whom you have made as a sword for his

prophethood and a sign for his Apostleship and a witness upon his nation

and an indicator towards his proof and the bearer of his standard and the

protector of his life and the guide for his nation and hand for his strength,

and the crown for his head and the door for his secrets and the key to his

victory so much so that he destroyed the armies of polytheism by Your

permission and ruined the forces of disbelief by Your command and

sacrificed his life in the satisfaction of Your Apostle and he endowed it in

his obediences. Then bless him, O Allah, with an everlasting and perpetual

blessing….

The recite:

Peace be on you, O the representative of Allah and the piercing star and

the continuous light, O the progeny of the pure, O the secret of Allah,

surely between me and Allah are my sins which have burdened my back

and they cannot be removed except by Your satisfaction. Then, by the right

of the One who has made you the master of His secrets, and has trusted to

you, the affairs of His creation, be any intercessor in front of Allah and my

protection from Hell-fire and my aid in the face of the perils of the time, for

surely I am the servant of Allah and your friend and your visitor, may Allah

bless you. …

Recite six rak’at prayers and supplicate to Allah and say:

Peace be on you O the commander of the faithful Upon you be salutation from my side till the times I exist and the night and the day exist.

Then point towards the grave of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and say:

Peace be on you, O Abu Abdullah

Peace be on you, O the son of the Apostle of Allah,
I come to you as a visitor and I implore Allah my Lord and your Lord and I turn towards Allah through you and I seek your intercession in front of Allah fro the fulfillment of these needs of mine.

Then recite this supplication:

O Allah, O Allah, O Allah! O the responder to the call of the distressed ones

and O the remover of troubles of the afflicted ones, expend me by the

fulfillment of my desire and suffice for me in whatever causes me grief from

my affairs of this world and the hereafter, O the most merciful of all those

who show mercy. ..

Turn towards the shrine of Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) and say:

Peace be on you, O the commander of the faithful and peace be on

Abu Abdullah, Husayn till the time I exist and the night and the day exist

and may Allah not make this my last visitation to you and may He not

cause separation between me and you. …

SIRRALLAAHE INNA BAYNEE WA BAYNAL LAAHE TA-A’ALAA

ZONOOBAN QAD ASQALAT ZAHREE WA LAA YAATEE A’LAYHAA ILLAA

REZAAHO FA BEHAQQE MANE-A TAMANAKA A’LAA SIRREHI WASTAR-

A’AKA AMRA KHALQEHI KUN LEE ELALLAAHE SHAFEE-A’N WA

MENAN NAARE MOJEERAN WA A’LAD DAHRE ZAHEERAN FA INNEE

A’BDULLAAHE WA WALIYYOKA WA ZAAA-EROKA SALLALLAAHO

A’LAYKA …

Recite six rak’at prayers and supplicate to Allah and say:

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA AMEERAL MOMINEENA A’LAYKA MINEE

SALAAMULLAAHE ABADAN MAA BAQEETO WA BAQEYAL LAYLO WAN

NAHAARO ..

Then point towards the grave of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and say:

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA ABAA A’BDILLAAHE

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA RASOOLILLAAHE ATAYTOKOMA

ZAAA-ERAN WA MOTAWASSELAN ELLAAHE TA-A’ALAA RABEE WA

RABBEKOMAA WA MOTAWAJJEHAN ELALLAAHE BEKOMAA WA

MUSTASHFEAN BEKOMAA ELALLAAHE FEE HAAJATEE HAAZEHI …

Then recite this supplication:

YAA ALLAAHO YAA ALLAAHO YAA ALLAAHO YAA MOJEEBA

DA’WATIL MUZTARREENA WA YAA KAASHEFA KURBIL

MAKROOBEENA WAS RIFNEE BE QAZAAA-E HAAJATEE WA

KEFAAYATE MAAA AHAMMANEE HAMMOHU MIN AMRID DUNYAAYA

WA AAKHERATEE YAA ARHAMAR RAAHEMEENA ….

Turn towards the shrine of Ameeril Momineen (a.s.) and say:

ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA AMEERAL MOMINEENA WAS SALAAMO

A’LAA ABEE A’BDILLAAHIL HUSAYNE MAA BAQEETO WA BAQEYAL

LAYLO WAN NAHAARO LAA JA-A’LAHULLAAHO AAKEHRAL A’HDE

MINNEE LE ZEYAARATEKOMAA WA LAA FARRAQALLAAHO BAYNEE

WA BAYNAKOMAA …….
