دُعَاؤُهُ لِأَهْلِ الثُّغُورِHis
Supplication for the People of the Frontiers
1
O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
1
2
fortify the frontiers of the Muslims through Thy might,
وَحَصِّنْ ثُغُورَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِعِزَّتِكَ،
2
3
support their defenders through Thy strength,
وَأَيِّدْ حُمَاتَهَا بِقُوَّتِكَ،
3
4
and lavish upon them gifts through Thy wealth!
وَأَسْبغَ عَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ جِدَتِكَ.
4
5
O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
5
6
increase their number, hone their weapons,
وَكَثِّرْ عِدَّتَهُمْ، وَاشْحَذْ أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ،
6
7
guard their territory, defend their midst,
وَاحْرُسْ حَوْزَتَهُمْ، وَامْنَعْ حَوْمَتَهُمْ،
7
8
unite their throng, arrange their affair,
وَأَلِّفْ جَمْعَهُمْ، وَدَبِّرْ أَمْرَهُمْ،
8
9
send them supplies in a steady string, undertake Thyself
to suffice them with provisions,
وَوَاتِرْ بَيْنَ مِيَرِهِمْ، وَتَوَحَّدْ بِكِفَايَةِ
مَؤَنِهِمْ،

support them with victory, help them with patience,
وَاعْضُدْهُمْ بِالنَّصْرِ، وَأَعْنِهُمْ بِالصَّبْرِ،

and give them subtlety in guile!
وَالْطُفْ لَهُمْ فِي الْمَكْرِ.

O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،

give them the knowledge of that of which they are
ignorant,
وَعَرِّفْهُمْ مَا يَجْهَلُونَ،
13
14
teach them what they do not know,
وَعَلِّمْهُمْ مَا لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ،
14

and show them what they do not see!
وَبَصِّرْهُمْ مَا لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ
15

O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،

make them forget when they meet the enemy
وَأَنْسِهِمْ عِنْدَ لِقَآئِهِمُ الْعَدُوَّ
17

to remember this cheating and delusive world of theirs,
ذِكْرَ دُنْيَاهُمُ الْخَدَّاعَةِ الْغَرُورِ،
18

erase from their hearts the thought of enchanting
possessions,
وَامْحُ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ خَطَرَاتِ الْمَالِ الْفَتُونِ،
19
20
place the Garden before their eyes, and display to their
sight that part of it
وَاجْعَلِ الْجَنَّةَ نَصْبَ أَعْيُنِهِمْ وَلَوِّحْ
مِنْهَا لأِبْصَارِهِمْ

which Thou hast prepared for them - the homes of
everlastingness and mansions of honour,
مَا أَعْدَدْتَ فِيهَا مِنْ مَسَاكِنِ الْخُلْدِ
وَمَنَازِلِ الْكَرَامَةِ
21

the beautiful houris, the rivers gushing forth with all
sorts of drinks,
وَالْحُورِ الْحِسَانِ وَالأَنْهَارِ الْمُطَّرِدَةِ
بِأَنْوَاعِ الأَشْرِبَـةِ ،
22

the trees hanging, low with all kinds of fruits -
وَالأَشْجَارِ الْمُتَدَلِّيَةِ بِصُنُوفِ الثَّمَرِ،
23
24
lest any of them think of turning his back
حَتَّى لاَ يَهُمَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ بِالأدْبَارِ،
24
25
or suggest to himself to flee his opponent!
وَلا يُحَدِّثَ نَفْسَهُ عَنْ قِرْنِهِ بِفِرَار.
25

O God, defeat their enemy through that,
أللَّهُمَّ افْلُلْ بِذَلِـكَ عَدُوَّهُمْ،
26

trim their nails from them, separate them from their
weapons,
وَاقْلِمْ عَنْهُمْ أَظْفَارَهُمْ، وَفَرِّقْ بَيْنَهُمْ
وَبَيْنَ أَسْلِحَتِهِمْ ،
27

pull out the firm ties from their hearts, keep them far
away from their stores,
وَاخْلَعْ وَثَائِقَ أَفْئِدَتِهِمْ، وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنَهُمْ
وَبَيْنَ أَزْوِدَتِهِمْ،

bewilder them in their roads, turn them astray from
their direction,
وَحَيِّرْهُمْ فِي سُبُلِهِمْ، وَضَلِّلْهُمْ عَنْ
وَجْهِهِمْ،
29

cut off reinforcements from them, chop them down in
numbers,
وَاقْـطَعْ عَنْهُمُ الْمَدَدَ وَانْقُصْ مِنْهُمُ
الْعَدَدَ،
30

fill their hearts with terror, hold back their hands
from stretching forth,
وَامْلاْ أَفْئِدَتَهُمُ الرُّعْبَ، وَاقْبِضْ
أَيْـدِيَهُمْ عَنِ البَسْطِ،

tie back their tongues from speaking,
وَاخْـزِمْ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ عَنِ النُّطْقِ،
32

"scatter by them the ones behind them" (8:57), make them
a lesson for those beyond them,
وَشَرِّدْ بهِمْ مَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ، وَنَكِّلْ بِهِمْ مَنْ
وَرَاءَهُمْ،

and through their degradation cut off the hopes of those
who come after them!
وَاقْـطَعْ بِخِزْيِهِمْ أَطْمَـاعَ مَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ.

O God, make the wombs of their women barren
أللَّهُمَّ عَقِّمْ أَرْحَامَ نِسَائِهِمْ،
35

dry up the loins of their men,
وَيَبِّسْ أَصْلاَبَ رِجَالِهِمْ،
36
37
cut off the breeding of their mounts and their cattle,
وَاقْطَعْ نَسْلَ دَوَابِّهِمْ وَأَنْعَامِهِمْ،
37

and permit not their sky to rain or their earth to grow!
لاَ تَأذَنْ لِسَمَائِهِمْ فِي قَطْر وَلاَ لارْضِهِمْ فِي
نَبَات.

O God, through that strengthen the prowess of the People
of Islam,
أللَّهُمَّ وَقَوِّ بِذَلِكَ مِحَالَّ أَهْلِ الإسْلاَمِ ،
39
40
fortify their cities, increase their properties,
وَحَصِّنْ بِهِ دِيَارَهُمْ ، وَثَمِّرْ بِـهِ
أَمْوَالَهُمْ ،
40
41
give them ease from their fighting to worship Thee and
from their warfare to be alone with Thee,
وَفَرِّغْهُمْ عَنْ مُحَارَبَتِهِمْ لِعِبَادَتِكَ وَعَنْ
مُنَابَذَتِهِمْ للْخَلْوَةِ بِكَ،

so that none will be worshipped in the regions of the
earth but Thee
حَتَّى لا يُعْبَدَ فِي بِقَاعِ الارْضِ غَيْرُكَ
42
43
and no forehead of theirs may be rubbed in dust for less
than Thee!
وَلاَ تُعَفَّرَ لاَِحَد مِنْهُمْ جَبْهَةٌ دُونَكَ.

O God, send out the Muslims of every region on raids
أللَّهُمَّ اغزُ بِكُلِّ نَـاحِيَـة مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
44

against the idolaters who face them!
عَلَى مَنْ بِـإزَائِهِمْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ،
45
46
Reinforce them with angels in ranks from Thee,
وَأَمْدِدْهُمْ بِمَلائِكَة مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مُرْدِفِينَ
46
47
till the idolaters are routed by them to the end of the
land, slain in Thy earth
حَتَّى يَكْشِفُـوهُمْ إلَى مُنْقَطَعِ التُّـرابِ
قَتْـلاً فِي أَرْضِكَ
47
48
or taken captive, or till they admit that Thou art God,
other than whom there is no god,
وَأَسْراً أَوْ يُقِرُّوا بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ الَّذِي
لاَ إلهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ
48

Thou alone, who hast no associate!
وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ.

O God, include in this Thy enemies in the regions of the
lands,
أللَّهُمَّ وَاعْمُمْ بِذَلِكَ أَعْدَاءَكَ فِي أَقْطَارِ
الْبِلاَدِ

the Indians, the Byzantines, the Turks, the Khazars, the
Abyssinians,
مِنَ الْهِنْدِ وَالرُّومِ وَالتُّـرْكِ وَالْخَزَرِ
وَالْحَبَشِ
51
52
the Nubians, the Zanjis, the Slavs, the Daylamites,
وَالنُّـوبَةِ وَالـزَّنْج والسَّقَالِبَةِ
وَالدَّيَالِمَةِ
52
53
and the rest of the idol-worshipping nations, those
whose names and attributes are concealed,
وَسَائِرِ أُمَمِ الشِّرْكِ الَّذِي تَخْفَى أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ
وَصِفاتُهُمْ،

54
but whom Thou countest in Thy cognizance and overseest
through Thy power!
وَقَدْ أَحْصَيْتَهُمْ بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ، وَأَشْرَفْتَ
عَلَيْهِمْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ.

O God, distract the idolaters from reaching for the
borders of the Muslims through the idolaters,
أللَّهُمَّ اشْغَلِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِالمُشْرِكِينَ عَنْ
تَنَاوُلِ أَطْرَافِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ،

bar them from cutting them down through being cut down,
وَخُذْهُمْ بِـالنَّقْصِ عَنْ تَنَقُّصِهِمْ،
56

and hold them back from massing together against them
through dissension!
وَثَبِّطْهُمْ بِـالْفُـرْقَـةِ عَنِ الاحْتِشَادِ
عَلَيْهِمْ.

O God, empty their hearts of security
أللَّهُمَّ أَخْلِ قُلُوبَهُمْ مِنَ الأَمَنَـةِ
58

and their bodies of strength, distract their hearts from
thinking of stratagems,
وَأَبْدَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُوَّةِ وَأَذْهِلْ قُلُوبَهُمْ
عَنِ الاحْتِيَالِ
59

make their limbs too feeble for clashing with men,
وَأَوْهِنْ أَرْكَانَهُمْ عَنْ مُنَازَلَةِ الرِّجَالِ
60
61
make them too cowardly for contending with champions,
وَجَبِّنْهُمْ عَنْ مُقَارَعَةِ الأَبْطَالِ،
61
62
send against them a troop of Thy angels
وَابْعَثْ عَلَيْهِمْ جُنْداً مِنْ مَلاَئِكَتِكَ
62
63
with some of Thy severity as Thou didst on the Day of
Badr,
بِبَأس مِنْ بَأْسِكَ كَفِعْلِكَ يَوْمَ بَدْر
63
64
so that through it Thou mayest cut off their roots,
harvest their thorns,
تَقْطَعُ بِهِ دَابِرَهُمْ وَتَحْصُدُ بِهِ شَوْكَتَهُمْ،
64
65
and disperse their number!
وَتُفَرِّقُ بهِ عَدَدَهُمْ.
65

O God, mix their waters with pestilence and their foods
with maladies,
اللَّهُمَّ وَامْزُجْ مِيَاهَهُمْ بِالْوَبَاءِ
وَأطْعِمَتَهُمْ بِالأَدْوَاءِ
66

hurl down their cities, harass them with peltings,
hinder them through drought,
وَارْمِ بِلاَدَهُمْ بِالْخُسُوفِ وَأَلِـحَّ عَلَيْهَا
بِـالْقُذُوفِ وَافْـرَعْهَا بِالْمُحُولِ.

place their supplies in the most ill-omened part of Thy
earth and the farthest from them,
وَاجْعَلْ مِيَرَهُمْ فِي أَحَصِّ أَرْضِكَ وَأَبْعَـدِهَا
عَنْهُمْ،

bar them from its fortresses, and strike them with
constant hunger and painful illness!
وَامْنَـعْ حُصُونَهَا مِنْهُمْ، أَصِبْهُمْ بِالْجُوعِ
الْمُقِيمِ وَالسُّقْمِ الالِيمِ.

O God, if a warrior from the people of Thy creed wars
against them
أللَّهُمَّ وَأَيُّمَا غَاز غَزَاهُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ
مِلَّتِكَ
70

or a struggler from the followers of Thy prescriptions
struggles against them so that Thy religion may be the
highest,
أَوْ مُجَاهِد جَاهَدَهُمْ مِنْ أَتْبَاعِ سُنَّتِكَ
لِيَكُونَ دِينُكَ الاعْلَى

Thy party the strongest, and Thy share the fullest, cast
ease to him,
وَحِزْبُكَ الأقوَى وَحَظُّكَ الأوْفَى فَلَقِّهِ
الْيُسْرَ،
72

arrange his affair, attend to him by granting success,
وَهَيِّئْ لَهُ الأمْرَ، وَتَوَلَّهُ بِالنُّجْحِ،

select for him his companions, strengthen his back,
وَتَخَيَّرْ لَهُ الأصْحَابَ، وَاسْتَقْوِ لَهُ الظَّهْرَ،

lavish upon him livelihood, give him enjoyment of joyous
vitality,
وَأَسْبِغْ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّفَقَةِ وَمَتِّعْهُ
بِالنَّشَاطِ،

cool for him the heat of yearning, give him sanctuary
from the gloom of loneliness,
وَأَطْفِ عَنْهُ حَرَارَةَ الشَّوْقِ، وَأَجِرْهُ مِنْ
غَمِّ الْوَحْشَةِ،

make him forget the remembrance of wife and child, pass
along to him an excellent intention, attend to him with
well-being,
وَأَنْسِهِ ذِكْرَ الاهْلِ وَالْوَلَدِ وَأَثُرْ لَهُ
حُسْنَ النِّيَّةِ وَتَوَلَّه بِالْعَافِيَةِ،

make safety his companion, release him from cowardice,
وَأَصْحِبْهُ السَّلاَمَةَ، وَأَعْفِهِ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ،
78

inspire him with boldness, provide him with strength,
support him with help,
وَأَلْهِمْهُ الْجُرْأَةَ وَارْزُقْهُ الشِّدَّةَ
وَأَيِّدْهُ بِالنُّصْرَةِ،

teach him right conduct and the norms of the Sunna,
point him straight in judgement,
وَعَلِّمْهُ السِّيَرَ وَالسُّنَنَ، وَسَدِّدْهُ فِي
الْحُكْمِ،

remove from him hypocrisy, purify him from seeking fame,
وَاعْزِلْ عَنْهُ الرِّياءَ، وخَلِّصْهُ مِنَ السُّمْعَةِ

and make his thinking and remembrance, his departing and
his staying, be in Thee and for Thee!
وَاجْعَلْ فِكْرَهُ وَذِكْرَهُ وَظَعْنَهُ وَإقَامَتَهُ
فِيْكَ وَلَكَ،

When he stands in ranks before Thy enemy and his enemy,
make them few in his eye,
فَإذا صَافَّ عَدُوَّكَ وَعَدُوَّهُ فَقَلِّلْهُمْ فِي
عَيْنِهِ
83

diminish their importance in his heart,
وَصَغِّرْ شَأنَهُمْ فِي قَلْبِهِ
84
85
give him a turn to prevail over them, not them a turn to
prevail over him!
وَأَدِلْ لَهُ مِنْهُـمْ وَلاَ تُدِلْهُمْ مِنْهُ
85

But if Thou sealest him with felicity and decreest for
him martyrdom,
فَإنْ خَتَمْتَ لَهُ بِالسَّعَادَةِ وَقَضَيْتَ لَهُ
بِالشَّهَادَةِ

then let it be after he has exterminated Thy enemies by
slaying,
فَبَعْدَ أَنْ يَجْتَاحَ عَدُوَّكَ بِالْقَتْلِ
87

captivity has afflicted them,
وَبَعْدَ أنْ يَجْهَدَ بِهِمُ الأسْرُ
88

the borders of the Muslims are secure,
وَبَعْدَ أن تَأمَنَ أطرَافُ المُسْلِمِينَ
89

and Thy enemy has turned his back in flight!
وَبَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَ عَدُوُّكَ مُدْبِرِينَ.

O God, and if a Muslim should
أللَّهُمَّ وَأَيُّمَا مُسْلِم
91

take the place of a warrior or a soldier in his home,
خَلَفَ غَازِياً أَوْ مُرَابِطاً فِي دَارِهِ
92

attend to those left behind in his absence,
أَوْ تَعَهَّدَ خَالِفِيْهِ فِيْ غَيْبَتِهِ،
93

help him with a portion of his property,
أَوْ أَعَانَهُ بِطَائِفَة مِنْ مَالِهِ،
94

assist him with equipment, hone him for the struggle,
أَوْ أَمَدَّهُ بِعِتَاد، أَوْ شَحَذَهُ عَلَى جِهَاد،

send along with him a supplication for his purpose,
أَوْ أَتْبَعَهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ دَعْوَةً،

or guard his honour in his absence,
أَوْ رَعَى لَهُ مِنْ وَرَآئِهِ حُرْمَةً.

reward him with the like of his reward
فَأْجِرْ لَهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِهِ

measure for measure, like for like, and recompense him
for his act
وَزْناً بِوَزْن وَمِثْلاً بِمِثْل وَعَوِّضْهُ مِنْ
فِعْلِهِ

with an immediate compensation through which he will
hasten to the profit of what he has sent forth
عِوَضاً حَاضِراً يَتَعَجَّلُ بِهِ نَفْعَ مَا قَدَّمَ،

and the joy of what he has given, till the present
moment takes him
وَسُرُورَ مَا أَتَى به، إلَى أَنْ يَنْتَهِيَ بِهِ
الْوَقْتُ

to the bounty Thou hast granted to him
إلَى مَاأَجْرَيْتَ لَـهُ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ،

and the generosity Thou hast prepared for him!
وَأَعْدَدْتَ لَهُ مِنْ كَرَامَتِكَ.

O God, and if the affair of Islam should worry a Muslim
أللَّهُمَّ وَأَيُّمَا مُسْلِم أَهَمَّهُ أَمْرُ
الإِسْلاَمِ

and the alliance of the idolaters' against Islam should
grieve him,
وَأَحْزَنَهُ تَحَزُّبُ أَهْلِ ألشِّرْكِ عَلَيْهِمْ

so that he has the intention to go to war and is about
to enter the struggle,
فَنَوَى غَزْواً أَوْ هَمَّ بِجهَـاد
106

but frailty keeps him seated, neediness keeps him
waiting,
فَقَعَدَ بِـهِ ضَعْفٌ أَوْ أَبطَأَتْ بِهِ فَاقَةٌ،
107

a mishap delays him,
أَوْ أَخَّرَهُ عَنْهُ حَادِثٌ،
108

or an obstruction prevents him from his wish,
أَوْ عَرَضَ لَهُ دُونَ إرَادَتِهِ مَانِعٌ،

write his name among the worshipers,
فَاكْتُبِ اسْمَـهُ فِي الْعَابِدِينَ
110

make incumbent for him the reward of the strugglers,
وَأوْجبْ لَهُ ثَوَابَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ

and place him among the ranks of the martyrs and the
righteous!
وَاجْعَلْهُ فِي نِظَامِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ .

O God, bless Muhammad, Thy slave and Thy messenger,
أللَّهُمَّ صَـلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ

and the Household of Muhammad, with a blessing high
above all other blessings,
وَآلِ مُحَمَّد صَلاَةً عَالِيَةً عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ

towering beyond all other salutations,
مُشْرِفَةً فَوْقَ التَّحِيَّاتِ،

a blessing whose end is never reached
صَلاَةً لاَ يَنْتَهِي أَمَدُهَا

and whose number is never cut off,
وَلا يَنْقَطِعُ عَدَدُهَا
117

like the most perfect of Thy blessings that has passed
كَأَتَمِّ مَـا مَضَى مِنْ صَلَوَاتِكَ

to any one of Thy friends!
عَلَى أَحَد مِنْ أَوْلِيـائِكَ،

Thou art All-kind, Praiseworthy,
إنَّـكَ الْمَنَّانُ الْحَمِيدُ

the Originator who takes back again,
الْمُبْدِئُ الْمُعِيدُ

Accomplisher of what Thou desirest.
الفَعَّالُ لِمَا تُرِيْدُ.

wa kaana min dua'aa-ihee a'lay-his-salaamu liah-li
th-thughoor
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
wa h'as'-s'in thughooral-mus-limeena bii'z-zatik
wa ay-yid h'umaatahaa biqoo-watik
wa as-bigh a't'aayaahum min jidatik
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
wa kath-thir i'd-datahum-
wash-h'ad' as-lih'atahum-
wah'-rus h'aw-zatahum
wam-naa' h'aw-matahum-
wa al-lif jam-a'hum-
wa db-bir am-rahum-
wa waatir bay-na meearihim-
wa tawah'-h'ad bikifaayati moo-anihim-
waa'-z''ud-hum bin-nas'-r
wa ai'n-hum bis'-s'ab-r
wal-t'uf lahum fil-mak-r
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
wa a'r-rif-hum maa yaj-haloon
wa a'l-lim-hum maa laa yaa'-lamoon
wa bas'-s'ir-hum maa laa yub-s'iroon
al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih
wa ansihim i'nda liqaaa-ihimul-a'doo-wa d'ik-ra
dunyaahumul-khad-daaa'til-gharoor
wam-hoo a'n quloobihim khat'araatil-maalil-fatoon
waj-a'lil-jan-nata nas'-ba aa'-yunihim-
wa law-wih' min-haa liab-s'aarihim maaa aa'-dat-ta feehaa min-
masaakinil-khul-d
wa manaazilil-karaamah
wal-h'ooril-h'isaan
wal-an-haaril-mut'-t'aridati binwaai'l-ash-ribah
wal-ash-jaaril-mutadal-leeati bis'unoofith-thamar
h'at-taa laa yahum-ma ah'adum-min-hum bil-id-baar
wa laa yuh'ad-ditha naf-sahoo a'n qir-nihee bifraar
al-laahum-ma
af-lul bid'alika a'doo-wahum-
wa aq-lim a'n-hum az'-faarahum-
wa far-riq bay-nahum wabay-na as-lih'atihim-
wakh-laa' wathaaa-iqa af-idatihim-
wa baai'd bay-nahum wabay-na az-widatihim-
wa h'ay-yir-hum fee subulihim-
wa z''al-lil-hum a'w-waj-hihim-
waq-t'aa' a'n-humul-madad
wanqus' min-humul-a'dad

waq-t'aa' bikhiz-yihim at'-maaa' mam-baa'-dahum-
al-laahum-ma
a'q-qim ar-h'aama nisaaa-ihim
wa yab-bis as'-laaba rijaalihim
waq-t'aa' nas-la dawaaab-bihim wan-a'amihim
laa taa-d'al-lisamaaa-ihim fee qat'-r
wa laa liar-z''ihim fee nabaat
al-laahum-ma
wa qaw-wi bid'alika mih'aala ah-lil-is-laam
wa h'as'-s'im-bihee deeaarahum-
wa tham-mir biheee am-waalahum-
wa far-righ-hum a'm-muh'aarabatihim lii'baadatika wa a'm-munaabad'atihim
lil-khal-wati bika h'at-taa
laa yua'-bada fee biqaai'l-ar-z''i ghay-ruk
wa laa tua'f-fara liah'adim-min-hum jab-hatun doonak
al-laahum-ma
gh-zu bikul-li naah'eeatim-minal-mus-limeena a'laa mam-biizaaa-ihim
minal-mush-rikeen
wa am-did-hum bimalaaa-ikatim-min i'ndika mur-difeen
h'at-taa yak-shifoohum ilaa munqat'ai't-turaabi qat-lan feee ar-z''ika wa as-raa
aw yuqir-roo bin-naka antal-laahool-lad'ee
laaa ilaha il-laaa ant
wah'-daka laa shareeka lak
al-laahum-ma
waa'-mum bid'alika aa'-daaa-aka feee aq-t'aaril-bilaadi minal-hindi war-roomi
wat-tur-ki wal-khazari wal-h'abashi wan-noobati waz-zanji was-saqaalibati wad-deeaalimati
wa saaa-iri umamish-shir-kil-lad'eena takh-faaa as-maaa-uhum wa s'ifaatuhum
wa qad ah'-s'ay-tahum bimaa'-rifatik
wa ash-raf-ta a'lay-him biqud-ratik
al-laahum-ma
ash-ghalil-mush-rikeena bil-mush-rikeena a'n tanaawli at'-raafil-muslimeen
wa khud'-hum bin-naq-s'i a'n tanaq-qus'ihim-
wa thab-bit'-hum bil-fur-qati a'nilih'-tishaadi a'lay-him-
al-laahum-ma
akh-li quloobahum minal-amanati wa ab-daanahum mina alqoo-wah
wa ad'-hil quloobahum a'nilih'-teeaal
wa aw-hin ar-kaanahum a'm-munaazalatir-rijaal
wa jab-bin-hum a'm-muqaaraa'til-ab-t'aal
wab-a'th a'lay-him jundam-mim-malaaa-ikatika bibaa-sim-mim-baa-sika kafia'-lika

wa tah'-s'udu bihee shaw-katahum-
wa tufar-riqu bihee a'dadahum-

war-mi bilaadahum bil-khusoof
wa alih'-h'a a'lay-haa bil-qud'oof
waf-raa'-haa bil-muh'ool
waj-a'l meearahum feee ah'as'-s'i ar-z''ika wa ab-a'dihaa a'n-hum-
wam-naa' h'us'oonahaa min-hum-
as'ib-hum bil-jooi'l-muqeemi was-suq-mil-aleem
al-laahum-ma
wa ay-yumaa ghaazin ghazaahum min ah-li mil-latik
aw mujaahidin jaahadahum min atabaai' sun-natik leeakoona
deenukal-aa'-laa
wa h'iz-bukal-aq-waa
wa h'az'-z'ukal-aw-faa
falaq-qihil-yus-r
wa hay-yi lahul-am-r
wa tawal-lahoo bin-nuj-h'
wa takhay-yar lahul-as'-h'aab
was-taq-wi lahuz'-z'ah-r
wa as-bigh a'lay-hee fin-nafaqah
wa mat-tia'-hoo bin-nashaat'
wat'-fi a'n-hoo h'araaratash-shaw-q
wa ajir-hoo min gham-mil-wah'-shah
wa ansihee d'ik-ral-ah-li wal-walad
wa aaathur lahoo h'us-nan-nee-yah
wa tawal-lahoo bil-a'afeeah
wa as'-h'ib-hus-salaamah
wa aa'-fihee minal-jub-n
wa al-him-hul-jur-ah
war-zuq-hush-shid-dah
wa ay-yid-hoo bin-nus'-rah
wa a'l-lim-hus-seeara was-sunan
wa sad-did-hoo fil-h'uk-m
waa'-zil a'n-hur-reeaaa-
wa khal-lis'-hoo minas-sum-a'h
waj-a'l fik-rahoo wad'ik-rahoo waz'aa'-nahoo waaqaamatahoo feeka wa lak
faad'aa s'aaaf-fa a'doo-waka waa'doo-wahoo
faqal-lil-hum fee a'y-nih

faan khatam-ta lahoo bis-saa'adati wa qaz''ay-ta lahoo bish-shahaadah
fabaa'-da ay-yaj-taah'a a'doo-waka bil-qat-l
wa baa'-da ay-yaj-hada bihimul-as-r
wa baa'-da an taa-mana st'-raaful-mus-limeen
wa baa'-da sy-yuwal-leea a'doo-wuka mud-bireen

aw taa'h-hada khaalifeehee fee ghay-batih

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَ آلِهِ وَ حَصِّنْ ثُغُورَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ أَيِّدْ حُمَاتَهَا بِقُوَّتِكَ وَ أَسْبِغْ عَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ جِدَتِكَ |

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَ آلِهِ وَ كَثِّرْ عِدَّتَهُمْ وَ اشْحَذْ أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ وَ احْرُسْ حَوْزَتَهُمْ وَ امْنَعْ حَوْمَتَهُمْ وَ أَلِّفْ جَمْعَهُمْ وَ دَبِّرْ أَمْرَهُمْ وَ وَاتِرْ بَيْنَ مِيَرِهِمْ وَ تَوَحَّدْ بِكِفَايَةِ مُؤَنِهِمْ وَ اعْضُدْهُمْ بِالنَّصـر وَ أَعِنْهُمْ بِالصَّبْرِ وَ الْطُفْ لَهُمْ فِي الْمَكْرِ |

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَ آلِهِ وَ عَرِّفْهُمْ مَا يَجْهَلُونَ وَ عَلِّمْهُمْ مَا لأَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَ بَصِّرْهُمْ مَا لأَ يُبْصِرُونَ

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَ آلِهِ وَ أَنْسِهِمْ عِنْدَ لِقَائِهِمُ الْعَدُوَّ ذِكْرَ دُنْيَاهُمُ الْخَدَّاعَةِ الْغَرُورِ وَ امْحُ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ خَطَرَاتِ الْمَالِ الْفَتُونِ وَ اجْعَلِ الْجَنَّةَ نُصْبَ أَعْيُنِهِمْ وَ لَوِّحْ مِنْهَا لِأَبْصَارِهِمْ مَا أَعْدَدْتَ فِيهَا مِنْ ماكِنِ الْخُلْدِ وَ مَنَازِلِ الْكَرَامَةِ وَ الْحُورِ الْحِسَانِ وَ الْأَنْهَارِ الْمُطَّرِدَةِ بِأَنْوَاعِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ وَ الْأَشْجَارِ الْمُتَدَلِّيَةِ بِصُنُوفِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى لأَ يَهُمَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ بِالْإِدْبَارِ وَ لأَ يُحَدِّثَ نَفْسَهُ عَنْ قِرْنِهِ بِفِرَار |

5 O Allāh,
defeat their enemy through that, trim their nails from them, separate
them from their weapons, pull out the firm ties from their hearts, keep
them far away from their stores, bewilder them in their roads, turn them
astray from their direction, cut off reinforcements from them, chop them
down in numbers, fill their hearts with terror, hold back their hands
from stretching forth, tie back their tongues from speaking, |
أَللَّهُمَّ افْلُلْ بِذَلِكَ عَدُوَّهُمْ وَ اقْلِمْ عَنْهُمْ أَظْفَارَهُمْ وَ فَرِّقْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَ بَيْنَ أَسْلِحَتِهِمْ وَ اخْلَعْ وَثَائِقَ أَفْئِدَتِهِمْ وَ بَاعِدْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَ بَيْنَ أَزْوِدَتِهِمْ وَ حَيِّرْهُمْ فِي سُبُلِهِمْ وَ ضَلِّلْهُمْ عَنْ وَجْهِهِمْ وَ اقْطَعْ عَنْهُمُ الْمَدَدَ وَ انْقُصْ مِنْهُمُ الْعَدَدَ وَ امْلَأْ أَفْئِدَتَهُمُ الرُّعْبَ وَ اقْبِضْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنِ الْبَسْطِ وَ اخْزِمْ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ عَنِ النُّطْقِ وَ شَرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ وَ نَكِّلْ بِهِمْ مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ وَ اقْطَعْ بِخِزْيِهِمْ أَطْمَاعَ مَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ |
|
أَللَّهُمَّ عَقِّمْ أَرْحَامَ نِسَائِهِمْ وَ يَبِّسْ أَصْلأَبَ رِجَالِهِمْ وَ اقْطَعْ نَسْلَ دَوَابِّهِمْ وَ أَنْعَامِهِمْ لأَ تَأْذَنْ لِسَمَائِهِمْ فِي قَطْر وَ لأَ لِأَرْضِهِمْ فِي نَبَات |
|
|
7 O Allāh, through that strengthen the prowess124 of the People of Islām, fortify their cities, increase their properties, give them ease from their fighting to worship You and from their warfare to be alone with You, so that none will be worshipped in the regions of the earth but You and no forehead of theirs may be rubbed in dust for less than You! |
أَللَّهُمَّ وَ قَوِّ بِذَلِكَ مِحَالَ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلأَمِ وَ حَصِّنْ بِهِ دِيَارَهُمْ وَ ثَمِّرْ بِهِ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَ فَرِّغْهُمْ عَنْ مُحَارَبَتِهِمْ لِعِبَادَتِكَ وَ عَنْ مُنَابَذَتِهِمْ لِلْخَلْوَةِ بِكَ حَتَّى لأَ يُعْبَدَ فِي بِقَاعِ الْأَرْضِ غَيْرُكَ وَ لأَ تُعَفَّرَ لِأَحَد مِنْهُمْ جَبْهَةٌ دُونَكَ |
|
أَللَّهُمَّ اغْزُ بِكُلِّ نَاحِيَة مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَلَى مَنْ بِإِزَائِهِمْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَ أَمْدِدْهُمْ بِمَلأَئِكَة مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مُرْدِفِينَ حَتَّى يَكْشِفُوهُمْ إِلَى مُنْقَطَعِ التُّرَابِ قَتْلاً فِي أَرْضِكَ وَ أَسْراً أَوْ يُقِرُّوا بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لأَ إِلَهَ إِلأَ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لأَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ |

|
أَللَّهُمَّ وَ اعْمُمْ بِذَلِكَ أَعْدَاءَكَ فِي أَقْطَارِ الْبِلأَدِ مِنَ الْهِنْدِ وَ الرُّومِ وَ التُّرْكِ وَ الْخَزَرِ وَ الْحَبَشِ وَ النُّوبَةِ وَ الزَّنْجِ وَ السَّقَالِبَةِ وَ الدَّيَالِمَةِ وَ سَائِرِ أُمَمِ الشِّرْكِ الَّذِينَ تَخْفَى أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ وَ صِفَاتُهُمْ وَ قَدْ أَحْصَيْتَهُمْ بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ وَ أَشْرَفْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ |
|
|
أَللَّهُمَّ اشْغَلِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِالْمُشْرِكِينَ عَنْ تَنَاوُلِ أَطْرَافِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ خُذْهُمْ بِالنَّقْصِ عَنْ تَنَقُّصِهِمْ وَ ثَبِّطْهُمْ بِالْفُرْقَةِ عَنِ الإِحْتِشَادِ عَلَيْهِمْ |
|
|
أَللَّهُمَّ أَخْلِ قُلُوبَهُمْ مِنَ الْأَمَنَةِ وَ أَبْدَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُوَّةِ وَ أَذْهِلْ قُلُوبَهُمْ عَنِ الإِحْتِيَالِ وَ أَوْهِنْ أَرْكَانَهُمْ عَنْ مُنَازَلَةِ الرِّجَالِ وَ جَبِّنْهُمْ عَنْ مُقَارَعَةِ الْأَبْطَالِ وَ ابْعَثْ عَلَيْهِمْ جُنْداً مِنْ مَلأَئِكَتِكَ بِبَأْس مِنْ بَأْسِكَ كَفِعْلِكَ يَوْمَ بَدْر تَقْطَعُ بِهِ دَابِرَهُمْ وَ تَحْصُدُ بِهِ شَوْكَتَهُمْ وَ تُفَرِّقُ بِهِ عَدَدَهُمْ |
|
|
أَللَّهُمَّ وَ امْزُجْ مِيَاهَهُمْ بِالْوَبَاءِ وَ أَطْعِمَتَهُمْ بِالْأَدْوَاءِ وَ ارْمِ بِلأَدَهُمْ بِالْخُسُوفِ وَ أَلِحَّ عَلَيْهَا بِالْقُذُوفِ وَ افْرَعْهَا بِالْمُحُولِ وَ اجْعَلْ مِيَرَهُمْ فِي أَحَصِّ أَرْضِكَ وَ أَبْعَدِهَا عَنْهُمْ وَ امْنَعْ حُصُونَهَا مِنْهُمْ أَصِبْهُمْ بِالْجُوعِ الْمُقِيمِ وَ السُّقْمِ الْأَلِيمِ |
|
|
أَللَّهُمَّ وَ أَيُّمَا غَاز غَزَاهُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِلَّتِكَ أَوْ مُجَاهِد جَاهَدَهُمْ مِنْ أَتْبَاعِ سُنَّتِكَ لِيَكُونَ دِينُكَ الْأَعْلَى وَ حِزْبُكَ الْأَقْوَى وَ حَظُّكَ الْأَوْفَى فَلَقِّهِ الْيُسْرَ وَ هَيِّىْ لَهُ الْأَمْرَ وَ تَوَلَّهُ بِالنُّجْحِ وَ تَخَيَّرْ لَهُ الْأَصْحَابَ وَ اسْتَقْوِ لَهُ الظَّهْرَ وَ أَسْبِغْ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّفَقَةِ وَ مَتِّعْهُ بِالنَّشَاطِ وَ أَطْفِ عَنْهُ حَرَارَةَ الشَّوْقِ وَ أَجِرْهُ مِنْ غَمِّ الْوَحْشَةِ وَ أَنْسِهِ ذِكْرَ الْأَهْلِ وَ الْوَلَدِ |

14 pass along to him an excellent intention, attend to him with well-being, make safety his companion, release him from cowardice, inspire him with boldness, provide him with strength, support him with help, teach him right conduct and the norms of the Sunna, point him straight in judgement, remove from him hypocrisy, purify him from seeking fame, and make his thinking and remembrance, his departing and his staying, be in You and for You! |
وَ أْثُرْ لَهُ حُسْنَ النِّيَّةِ وَ تَوَلَّهُ بِالْعَافِيَةِ وَ أَصْحِبْهُ السَّلأَمَةَ وَ أَعْفِهِ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَ أَلْهِمْهُ الْجُرْأَةَ وَ ارْزُقْهُ الشِّدَّةَ وَ أَيِّدْهُ بِالنُّصْرَةِ وَ عَلِّمْهُ السِّيَرَ وَ السُّنَنَ وَ سَدِّدْهُ فِي الْحُكْمِ وَ اعْزِلْ عَنْهُ الرِّيَاءَ وَ خَلِّصْهُ مِنَ السُّمْعَةِ وَ اجْعَلْ فِكْرَهُ وَ ذِكْرَهُ وَ ظَعْنَهُ وَ إِقَامَتَهُ فِيكَ وَ لَكَ |
|
فَإِذَا صَافَّ عَدُوَّكَ وَ عَدُوَّهُ فَقَلِّلْهُمْ فِي عَيْنِهِ وَ صَغِّرْ شَأْنَهُمْ فِي قَلْبِهِ وَ أَدِلْ لَهُ مِنْهُمْ وَ لأَ تُدِلْهُمْ مِنْهُ فَإِنْ خَتَمْتَ لَهُ بِالسَّعَادَةِ وَ قَضَيْتَ لَهُ بِالشَّهَادَةِ فَبَعْدَ أَنْ يَجْتَاحَ عَدُوَّكَ بِالْقَتْلِ وَ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَجْهَدَ بِهِمُ الْأَسْرُ وَ بَعْدَ أَنْ تَأْمَنَ أَطْرَافُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَ عَدُوُّكَ مُدْبِرِينَ |

|
أَللَّهُمَّ وَ أَيُّمَا مُسْلِم خَلَفَ غَازِياً أَوْ مُرَابِطاً فِي دَارِهِ أَوْ تَعَهَّدَ خَالِفِيهِ فِي غَيْبَتِهِ أَوْ أَعَانَهُ بِطَائِفَة مِنْ مَالِهِ بِهِ إِلَى أَنْ يَنْتَهِيَ بِهِ الْوَقْتُ إِلَى مَا أَجْرَيْتَ لَهُ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ أَعْدَدْتَ لَهُ مِنْ كَرَامَتِكَ |

|
أَللَّهُمَّ وَ أَيُّمَا مُسْلِم أَهَمَّهُ أَمْرُ الْإِسْلأَمِ وَ أَحْزَنَهُ تَحَزُّبُ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ عَلَيْهِمْ فَنَوَى غَزْوًى أَوْ هَمَّ بِجِهَاد فَقَعَدَ بِهِ ضَعْفٌ أَوْ أَبْطَأَتْ بِهِ فَاقَةٌ أَوْ أَخَّرَهُ عَنْهُ حَادِثٌ أَوْ عَرَضَ لَهُ دُونَ إِرَادَتِهِ مَانِعٌ فَاكْتُبِ اسْمَهُ فِي الْعَابِدِينَ وَ أَوْجِبْ لَهُ ثَوَابَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ وَ اجْعَلْهُ فِي نِظَامِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَ الصَّالِحِينَ |

|
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّد صَلأَةً عَالِيَةً عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ مُشْرِفَةً فَوْقَ التَّحِيَّاتِ صَلأَةً لأَ يَنْتَهِي أَمَدُهَا وَ لأَ يَنْقَطِعُ عَدَدُهَا كَأَتَمِّ مَا مَضَى مِنْ صَلَوَاتِكَ عَلَى أَحَد مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ إِنَّكَ الْمَنَّانُ الْحَمِيدُ الْمُبْدِئُ الْمُعِيدُ الْفَعَّالُ لِمَا تُرِيدُ |
