Ziyarat-Ahad Imam Mahdi (ajtfs)
This Ziarat is recited after Fajr prayer for Imam Mahdi(ajtfs)

Significance of this Duaa

اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلاَيَ صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ
allahumma balligh mawlaya sahiba alzzamani
O Allah, (please) convey to my master the Patron of the Age,

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ
salawatu allahi `alayhi
Allah’s blessings be upon him,

عَنْ جَمِيعِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
`an jami` almu'minina walmu'minati
on behalf of all the believing men and women

فِي مَشَارِقِ ٱلأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا
fi mashariqi al-ardi wa magharibiha
in the east and west sides of the earth,

وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا
wa barriha wa bahriha
in its lands and oceans,

وَسَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا
wa sahliha wa jabaliha
in its plains and mountains,

حَيِّهِمْ وَمَيِّتِهِمْ
hayyihim wa mayyitihim
and both the alive and the dead,

وَعَنْ وَالِدِيَّ وَوُلْدِي وَعَنِّي
wa `an walidayya wa wuldi wa `anni
and on behalf of my parents, my descendants, and me,

مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوَاتِ وَٱلتَّحِيَّاتِ
min alssalawati walttahiyyati
(convey to him) such blessings and greetings

زِنَةَ عَرْشِ ٱللَّهِ
zinata `arshi allahi
that are as heavy as the measure of the Throne of Allah,

وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
wa midada kalimatihi
as much as the ink of His words,

وَمُنْتَهَىٰ رِضَاهُ
wa muntaha ridahu
as endless as His pleasure,

وَعَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَاهُ كِتَابُهُ
wa `adada ma ahsahu kitabuhu
and as many as all that which has been calculated by His Books

وَأَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُهُ
wa ahata bihi `ilmuhu
and comprehended by His knowledge.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُجَدِّدُ لَهُ
allahumma inni ujaddidu lahu
O Allah, I update to him

فِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ
fi hadha alyawmi
on this day

وَفِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ
wa fi kulli yawmin
and on all days

عَهْداً وَعَقْداً وَبَيْعَةً فِي رَقَبَتِي
`ahdan wa `aqdan wa bay`atan fi raqabati
a pledge, a covenant, and an allegiance to which I commit up to my neck.

اَللَّهُمَّ كَمَا شَرَّفْتَنِي بِهٰذَا ٱلتَّشْرِيفِ
allahumma kama sharraftani bihadha alttashrifi
O Allah, just as You have endued me with this honor,

وَفَضَّلْتَنِي بِهٰذِهِ ٱلْفَضِيلَةِ
wa faddaltani bihadhihi alfadilati
conferred upon me this virtue,

وَخَصَصْتَنِي بِهٰذِهِ ٱلنِّعْمَةِ
wa khasastani bihadhihi alnni`mati
and granted me exclusively this bounty,

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلاَيَ وَسَيِّدِي
fasalli `ala mawlaya wa sayyidi
so also (please) send blessings upon my master and chief,

صَاحِبِ ٱلزَّمَانِ
sahibi alzzamani
the patron of the age,

وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَنْصَارِهِ
waj`alni min ansarihi
and make me of his supporters,

وَأَشْيَاعِهِ وَٱلذَّابِّينَ عَنْهُ
wa ashya`ihi waldhdhabbina `anhu
adherents, and defenders,

وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنَ ٱلْمُسْتَشْهَدِينَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ
waj`alni min almustashhadina bayna yadayhi
and make me of those who will be martyred in his presence,

طَائِعاً غَيْرَ مُكْرَهٍ
ta'i`an ghayra mukrahin
with full willingness and without compulsion,

فِي ٱلصَّفِّ ٱلَّذِي نَعَتَّ أَهْلَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ
fi alssaffi alladhi na`atta ahlahu fi kitabika
in the line whose people have been described in Your Book

فَقُلْتَ «صَفّاً كَأَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوصٌ»
faqulta saffan ka'annahum bunyanun marsusun
where You say, “… one line as if they were a firm and compact wall,”

عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ
`ala ta`atika
and with obedience to You

وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ وَآلِهِ
wa ta`ati rasulika wa alihi
and obedience to Your Messenger and his Household,

عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
`alayhim alssalamu
peace be upon them.

اَللَّهُمَّ هٰذِهِ بَيْعَةٌ لَهُ فِي عُنُقِي
allahumma hadhihi bay`atun lahu fi `unuqi
O Allah, this is my allegiance to him that is involved in my neck

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ
ila yawmi alqiyamati
up to the Resurrection Day.


In his book of Bihar al-Anwar, `Allamah al-Majlisi has said the following: In some ancient books, I found the following instruction mentioned after this form of ziyarah: “You may then slap your right hand on the left as if you are swearing allegiance.”

It is narrated from Yunus ibn `Abd al-Rahman that Imam `Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him), used to order his companions and adherents to say the following supplicatory prayer for sake of Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him). Besides, it is strongly recommended to say it after the ziyarah of Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him).
