بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.
Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
سُبُّوْحٌ قُدُّوْسٌ رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَۃِ وَالرُّوْحِ...
subboohun quddoosun rabbul malaa-ekate war roohe…
Glorified and the most Holy is the Lord of the Angels and spirits…[1]
سُبْحَانَ ذِیْ الْعِزِّ الشَّامِخِ الْمُنِیْفِ...
subhaana zil i’zzish shaamekhil moneefe…
Glory be to Allah, the Possessor of lofty and sublime honor…[2]
سُبْحَانَ ذِیْ الْعِزِّ الشَّامِخِ الْمُنِیْفِ سُبْحَانَ ذِیْ الْجَلَالِ الْبَاذِخِ الْعَظِیْمِ، سُبْحَانَ ذِیْ الْمُلْكِ الْفَاخِرِ الْقَدِیْمِ
subhaana zil i’zzish shaamekhil moneefe subhaana zil jalaalil baazekhil a’zeeme, subhaana zil mulkil faakheril qadeem
Glory be to Allah, the Possessor of lofty and sublime honor.[3] Glory be to Allah, the Possessor of splendid and mighty majesty.[4] Glory be to Allah, the Possessor of the ancient and magnificent kingdom…
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْبَہْجَۃِ وَ الْجَمَالِ، سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَرَدّٰی بِالنُّوْرِ وَ الْوَقَارِ، سُبْحَانَ مَنْ یَرٰی اَثَرَ النَّمْلِ فِیْ الصَّفَا، سُبْحَانَ مَنْ یَرٰی وَقْعَ الطَّیْرِ فِیْ الْہَوَاءِ، سُبْحَانَ مَنْ ہُوَ ہٰكَذَا، وَ لَا ہٰكَذَا غَیْرُہٗ
subhaana man labesal bahjate wal jamaale, subhaana man taraddaa bin-noore wal waqaare, subhaana man yaraa asaran namle fis safaa, subhaana man yaraa waqa-a’t tayre fil hawaa-e, subhaana man howa haakazaa, wa laa haakazaa ghayrohu
Glory be to He, who wore the apparel of splendor and beauty. Glory be to He, who put on the garment of light and dignity. Glory be to He, who sees the traces of the ant on the stone. Glory be to He, who sees the falling of the bird in the air. Glory be to He, who is thus, and no-one else is like this.
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ یَعْلَمُ جَوَارِحَ الْقُلُوْبِ، سُبْحَانَ مَنْ یُحْصِیْ...
subhaana man ya’lamo jawaarehil qoloobe, subhaana man yohsee…
Glory be to He, who knows the extremities of the hearts. Glory be to He, who calculates the number of sins…[5]
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِہٖ، سُبْحَانَ...
subhaana man tawaaza-a’ kullo shay-in le-a’zamatehi, subhaana…
Glory be to He, before whose greatness, everything is subservient. Glory be to He…[6]
سُبْحَانَكَ یَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْاِكْرَامِ، مَا فَعَلْتَ بِالْغَرِیْبٍ...
subhaanaka yaa zal jalaale wal ikraame, maa fa-a’lta bil-ghareebe…
Glory be to You, O owner of majesty and nobility, which You have conducted with the needful…[7]
