Supplication 118-122 taught to Hasnain(as) Faraj- Faith
Dua 118-122 from Sahifa Alavia by Imam Ali(as)
118. His Supplication as taught to Imam Hasan (a.s.)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.
Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

یَا عُدَّتِیْ عِنْدَ کُرْبَتِیْ
Ya uddatee ‘inda kurbatee
O My Support in my distress.

یَا غِیَاثِیْ عِنْدَ شِدَّتِیْ
Ya gheyathi ‘inda shiddatee
O My Help in my hardship.

یَا وَلِيِّيْ فِیْ نِعْمَتِیْ
Ya waleeyee fee ni‘matee
O My Guardian in my blessings.

یَا مُنْجِحِیْ فِیْ حَاجَتِیْ
Ya munjihee fee haajatee
O The One who grants success to my needs.

یَا مَفْزَعِیْ فِیْ وَرْطَتِیْ
Ya mafza‘ee fee wartatee
O My Refuge in my difficulties.

یَا مُنْقِذِیْ مِنْ ہَلَکَتِیْ
Ya munqidhee min halakatee
O My Savior from my destruction.

یَا کَالِئِیْ فِیْ وَحْدَتِیْ
Ya kaliyaee fee wahdatee
O My Protector in my loneliness.

اِغْفِرْ لِیْ خَطِیْئَتِیْ
Ighfir lee khatee’atee
Forgive my sin.

وَ یَسِّرْ لِیْ اَمْرِیْ
Wa yassir lee amree
And ease my affairs.

وَ اجْمَعْ لِیْ شَمْلِیْ
Wa ajma‘ lee shamlee
And unite my matters.

وَ اَنْحِجْ لِیْ طَلِبَتِیْ
Wa anhij lee talabatee
And make my requests successful.

وَ اَصْلِحْ لِیْ شَأْنِیْ
Wa aslilh lee sha’nee
And rectify my situation.

وَ اکْفِنِیْ مَا اَہَمَّنِیْ
Wa ikfinee ma ahammanee
And suffice me against what worries me.

وَ اجْعَلْ لِیْ مِنْ اَمْرِیْ فَرَجًا وَ مَخْرَجًا
Wa aj‘al lee min amree farajan wa makhraja
And make for me an opening and relief in my matter.

وَ لَا تُفَرِّقْ بَیْنِیْ وَ بَیْنَ الْعَافِیَۃِ اَبَدًا مَّا اَبْقَیْتَنِیْ
Wa la tufarriq baynee wa bayna al-‘afiyati abadan ma abqaytanee
And do not separate me from well-being as long as You keep me alive.

وَ فِیْ الْاٰخِرَۃَ اِذَا تَوَفَّیْتَنِیْ بِرَحْمَتِکَ
Wa fil aakhirati idha tawaffaytanee birahmatika
And in the Hereafter, when You take my soul with Your mercy.

یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ
Ya arham ar-raahimeen
O Most Merciful of the Merciful.

119. His Supplication as taught to Imam Husain (a.s.)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.
Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَحْمَدُکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ نِعْمَۃٍ
Allahumma innee ahmaduka ‘ala kulli ni‘mah
O Allah, I praise You for every blessing.

وَ اَشْکُرُکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ حَسَنَۃٍ
Wa ashkuruka ‘ala kulli hasanah
And I thank You for every good deed.

وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُکَ مِنْ کُلِّ ذَنْبٍ
Wa astaghfiruka min kulli dhanb
And I seek Your forgiveness for every sin.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ مِنْ کُلِّ خَیْرٍ
Wa as’aluka min kulli khayr
And I ask You for all good.

وَ اَسْتَعِیْذُ بِکَ مِنْ کُلِّ بَلَاءٍ
Wa asta‘eedhu bika min kulli bala
And I seek refuge with You from every calamity.

وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ
Wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil ‘Aliyyil ‘Azeem
And there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.




121. His Supplication known as "Kalimaatil Faraj"
لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِیْمُ الْکَرِیْمُ
La ilaha illallahul Haleemul Kareem
There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous.

لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ
La ilaha illallahul ‘Aliyyul ‘Azeem
There is no god but Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ السَّبْعِ
Subhanallahi Rabbis samawatis sab'
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens.

وَ رَبِّ الْاَرَضِیْنَ السَّبْعِ
Wa Rabbi al-aradheenas sab'
And the Lord of the seven earths.

وَ مَا فِیْہِنَّ وَ مَا بَیْنَہُنَّ
Wa ma feehinna wa ma baynahunna
And whatever is in them and whatever is between them.

وَ مَا تَحَتَہُنَّ
Wa ma tahtahunna
And whatever is beneath them.

وَ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ
Wa Rabbil ‘Arshil ‘Azeem
And the Lord of the Great Throne.

وَ سَلَامٌ عَلَی الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ
Wa salamun ‘alal mursaleen
And peace be upon the messengers.

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ
Walhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen
And all praise is for Allah, the Lord of all worlds.

122. His supplication for increasing faith
To be recited in open on three nights.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ قَدِ اکْتَفَیْتُ بِعِلْمِکَ عَنِ الْمَقَالِ
Allahumma innee qad iktaftu bi’ilmika ‘anil qaal
O Allah, I have sufficed with Your knowledge over speech.

وَ بِکَرَمِکَ عَنِ السُّؤَالِ
Wa bikaramik ‘anis su’aal
And with Your generosity over asking.

اَنْتَ ثِقَتِیْ وَ رَجَائِیْ
Anta thiqatī wa rajā’ī
You are my trust and my hope.

وَ عَلَیْکَ مُعَوَّلِیْ اِفْعَلْ بِیْ مَا تَشَاءُ
Wa ‘alayka mu‘awwali if‘al bee ma tashaa’
And upon You is my reliance; do with me as You will.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اٰتَیْتُکَ زَائِرًا مُتَعَرِّضًا لِمَعْرُوْفِکَ
Allahumma ataytuka zā’iran muta‘arridan lima‘roofika
O Allah, I have come to You as a visitor, exposing myself to Your kindness.

فَأْتِنِیْ مِنْ مَعْرُوْفِکَ مَعْرُوْفًا تُغْنِیْنِیْ بِہَا عَنْ مَعْرُوْفِ مَنْ سِوَاکَ
Fa’tinī min ma‘roofika ma‘roofan tughnīnī bihā ‘an ma‘roofi man siwāk
So grant me from Your kindness, kindness that will enrich me, making me independent from the kindness of others besides You.

یَا مَعْرُوْفًا بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ
Ya ma‘roofan bil ma‘roof
O the One known for kindness with kindness.

اَللّٰہُمَّ عَافِنِیْ اَبَدًا مَا اَبْقَیْتَنِیْ
Allahumma ‘aafinee abadan ma abqaytanee
O Allah, grant me well-being forever as long as You keep me alive.

وَ اغْفِرْ لِیْ اِذَا تَوَفَّیْتَنِیْ بِمَنِّکَ
Wa ighfir lee idha tawaffaytanee biman-nika
And forgive me when You take me (in death) by Your grace.

یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ
Ya Arhamar Raahimeen
O the Most Merciful of the merciful.
