7.Imam Zainul Abideen (as) Dua- Iqbal Aamal 22nd
يَا سَالِخَ اللَّيْلِ مِنَ النَّهَارِ فَإِذَا هُمْ مُظْلِمُونَ
Yā sālikha al-layli mina al-nahār, fa-idhā hum muẓlimūn
O You who strips the night from the day, and suddenly they are in darkness.
يَا مُجْرِيَ الشَّمْسِ لِمُسْتَقَرِّهَا بِتَقْدِيرِكَ
Yā mujriya al-shamsi limustaqarrīhā bi-taqdīrik
O You who causes the sun to move towards its resting place by Your decree.
يَا عَلِيمُ يَا مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ
Yā ‘Alīm, yā muntahā raghbati al-rāghibīn
O All-Knowing, O ultimate desire of those who seek!
وَ يَا وَلِيَّ النِّعْمَةِ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa yā waliyy al-ni‘mah ‘ala al-‘ālamīn
O Guardian of blessings over all the worlds!
يَا رَحْمَانُ يَا قُدُّوسُ
Yā Raḥmān, yā Quddūs
O Most Merciful, O Most Holy!
يَا وَاحِدُ يَا أَحَدُ يَا فَرْدُ يَا صَمَدُ يَا وَتْرُ
Yā Wāḥid, yā Aḥad, yā Fard, yā Ṣamad, yā Witr
O One, O Unique, O Indivisible, O Self-Sufficient, O Singular!
يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ
Yā Allāh, yā Allāh, yā Allāh
O Allah, O Allah, O Allah!
لَكَ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى وَ الْأَمْثَالُ الْعُلْيَا وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَ الْآلَاءُ
Laka al-asmā’u al-ḥusnā wa al-amthālu al-‘ulyā wa al-kibriyā’u wa al-ālā’
To You belong the Most Beautiful Names, the highest attributes, majesty, and blessings.
وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَ الْأُولَى
Wa laka al-ḥamdu fī al-ākhirati wa al-ūlā
And to You belongs all praise in the Hereafter and the first life.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ
Allāhumma innī as’aluka bi-annaka ḥayy lā yamūt
O Allah, I ask You because You are the Ever-Living who never dies.
وَ خَالِقٌ لَا يُغْلَبُ وَ بَصِيرٌ لَا يَرْتَابُ
Wa khāliqun lā yughlab, wa baṣīrun lā yartāb
The Creator who is never defeated, the All-Seeing who never doubts.
وَ سَمِيعٌ لَا يَشُكُّ وَ صَادِقٌ لَا يَكْذِبُ وَ قَاهِرٌ لَا يُضَادُّ
Wa samī‘un lā yashukk, wa ṣādiqun lā yakdhib, wa qāhirun lā yuḍādd
The All-Hearing who never hesitates, the Truthful who never lies, the Supreme who is never opposed.
وَ بَدِيءُ لَا يَنْفَدُ وَ قَرِيبٌ لَا يَبْعُدُ
Wa badī’un lā yanfad, wa qarīb lā yab‘ud
The Originator who never ceases, the Near One who is never distant.
وَ قَادِرٌ لَا يَظْلِمُ وَ صَمَدٌ لَا يُطْعَمُ
Wa qādirun lā yaẓlim, wa ṣamadun lā yuṭ‘am
The All-Powerful who never oppresses, the Self-Sufficient who needs no sustenance.
وَ قَيُّومٌ لَا يَنَامُ وَ عَالِمٌ لَا يُعَلَّمُ وَ قَوِيٌّ لَا يَضْعُفُ
Wa qayyūmun lā yanām, wa ‘ālimun lā yu‘allam, wa qawiyyun lā yaḍ‘uf
The Self-Sustaining who never sleeps, the All-Knowing who is never taught, the Strong who never weakens.
وَ عَظِيمٌ لَا تُوصَفُ وَ وَفِيٌّ لَا تُخْلِفُ
Wa ‘aẓīmun lā tuṣaf, wa wafiyyun lā tukhlif
The Great who cannot be described, the Faithful who never breaks His promise.
وَ عَدْلٌ لَا تَحِيفُ وَ غَنِيٌّ لَا يَفْتَقِرُ
Wa ‘adlun lā taḥīf, wa ghanīyun lā yaftaqir
The Just who never oppresses, the Rich who never needs.
وَ مَلِكٌ لَا تَعْذِرُ وَ حَلِيمٌ لَا تَجُورُ
Wa malikun lā ta‘dhir, wa ḥalīmun lā tajūr
The King who never wrongs, the Forbearing who never transgresses.
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammad wa Āli Muḥammad
I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and his family.
وَ أَنْ تَرْحَمَنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ تُعْتِقَنِي مِنَ النَّارِ بِجُودِكَ وَ كَرَمِكَ
Wa an tarḥamanī bi raḥmatika wa tu‘tiqanī mina al-nār bi jūdika wa karamika
And to have mercy on me by Your mercy, and free me from the Fire by Your generosity and kindness.
وَ تُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِكَ وَ إِحْسَانِكَ
Wa tudkhilani al-jannata bi faḍlika wa iḥsānik
And admit me into Paradise by Your grace and beneficence.
فَمَا ذَلِكَ عَلَيْكَ بِعَزِيزٍ
Famā dhālika ‘alayka bi-‘azīz
For that is not difficult for You.
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Yā arḥama al-rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful!
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا رَسُولِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً
Wa ṣallā Allāhu ‘alā sayyidinā rasūlihi Muḥammad al-nabiyy wa ālihi wa sallam taslīman
And may Allah send blessings upon our master, His messenger Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace.
