Ramadan Day 10
دعاء آخر في اليوم العاشر من إختيار السيد علي بن الحسين بن باقي رحمه اللهه
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْهِ كَفَاهُ
Praise be to Allah, the One who suffices those who rely on Him.
إِلَهِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ أَشْكُرْ
My God, You have bestowed Your favors upon me, yet I did not thank You;
وَ بَصَّرْتَنِي فَلَمْ أَتَبَصَّرْ
You gave me insight, yet I did not perceive;
وَ وَعَيْتَنِي وَ وَعَظْتَنِي وَ رَغَّبْتَنِي فَلَمْ أَذَّكِّرْ
You advised me and encouraged me, yet I did not take heed.
وَ أَقَلْتَ الْعَثَرَاتِ فَلَمْ أَقْصُرْ
You diminished my missteps but I did not desist;
وَ سَتَرْتَ الْعَوْرَاتِ فَلَمْ أَسْتُرْ
You concealed my flaws, yet I did not conceal them.
وَ هَذَا شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ الصِّيَامِ
And here is Ramadan, the month of fasting.
فَيَا مَنْ عَجَّتْ إِلَيْهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ فِي الْمَحَافِلِ بِصُنُوفِ اللُّغَاتِ
O He to whom voices hasten in gatherings in various languages,
يَسْأَلُونَكَ الْعَفْوَ بِالمُنَاجَاةِ
seeking Your pardon through private conversation.
اللَّهُمَّ وَ حَاجَتِيَ الْيَوْمَ إِلَيْكَ عِتْقُ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ
O Allah, my need today is the liberation of my neck from the Fire
وَ أَنْ تُقِيلَنِي عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنِّي
and that You overlook what I have committed.
يَا مَلْجَأَ كُلِّ لَاجٍ وَ وَلِيَّ كُلِّ نَاجٍ
O Refuge of every refugee and Guardian of every seeker,
مَنْ أَحْسَنَ يَا مَوْلَايَ فَبِرَحْمَتِكَ فَازَ
those who do well prosper by Your mercy,
وَ مَنْ أَسَاءَ فَبِخَطِيئَتِهِ يَهْلِكُ
and those who do wrong perish by their sins.
يَا إِلَهِي فَلَا تُهْلِكْنِي وَ أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ
My God, do not let me perish when You are my Master
وَ مِنْكَ كَانَ رَجَائِي يَا مَلْجَئِي
and from You comes my hope, my refuge.
إِلَهِي قَدْ يَرْحَمُ عَبْدٌ مَخْلُوقٌ لِمَخْلُوقٍ مِثْلِهِ
My God, a created servant may have mercy on another like him;
فَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ وَ خَالِقِي
I am Your servant, and You are my Master and Creator,
فَارْحَمْنِي يَا إِلَهِي كَمَا رَحِمَ مَخْلُوقٌ لِمَخْلُوقٍ
so have mercy on me, O my God, as a created being would have mercy on another.
اللَّهُمَّ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
O Allah, I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and his family,
وَ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ عَنِّي خَطِيئَتِي وَ تَأْخُذَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ بِنَاصِيَتِي
to bear my sins for me, and to guide me to goodness.
اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِي فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا أَفْضَلَ مَا
O Allah, grant me on this day the best of what
أَعْطَيْتَ أَحَداً مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
You have given to any of Your righteous servants,
وَ حُجَّاجَ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ وَ الْمُعْتَمِرِينَ
the pilgrims of Your Sacred House, and those performing Umrah,
إِنَّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
for You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي إِنِّي مُثْنٍ أَحْسَنَ الثَّنَاءِ
My God and my Master, I am one who praises You with the best of praise,
لِأَنَّ بَلَاءَكَ عِنْدِي أَحْسَنُ الْبَلَاءِ
for Your trial to me is the best of trials.
إِلَهِي كَأَنِّي بِنَفْسِي وَ أَنَا وَاقِفٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
My God, it is as if I see myself standing before You,
وَ قَدْ أَظَلَّنِي حُسْنُ التَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ
and the goodness of trusting in You has overshadowed me.
فَانْظُرْ إِلَيَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِ
Look at me with Your mercy at that moment
نَظْرَةً أَفُوزُ بِهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مَغْفُوراً لِي
so that I may be victorious in Your presence, forgiven.
اللَّهُمَ وَ هَذَا الدُّعَاءُ الَّذِي أَمَرْتَنَا بِهِ
O Allah, this is the prayer You commanded us with,
وَ عَلَيْكَ الْإِجَابَةُ كَمَا ضَمِنْتَ
and upon You is the response, as You have guaranteed.
يَا عَدْلُ يَا وَفِيُّ عَلَيْنَا الْمَسْأَلَةُ وَ عَلَيْكَ الْعَطِيَّةُ
O Just, O Faithful, it is upon us to ask, and upon You to grant.
وَ هَذَا الطَّلَبُ وَ عَلَيْكَ النَّجَاحُ
This is the request, and success is from You;
وَ هَذَا الْجَهْدُ وَ عَلَيْكَ التُّكْلَانُ
this is the effort, and reliance is upon You,
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
O Most Merciful of the merciful,
يَا أَكْرَمَ الْأَكْرَمِينَ يَا مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ
O Most Generous of the generous, the ultimate desire of those who desire,
وَ الطَّالِبِينَ وَ الْمُنِيبِينَ
seek, and turn repentantly.
إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Indeed, You are capable of all things,
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.
and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
