1.On the authority of the Prophet(peace and blessings be upon him and his family)-Iqbal Aamal- 9th


يَا سَيِّدَاهُ وَيَا رَبَّاهُ
“O‟ my Master! O‟ Nourisher!

وَيَا ذَا الْجَلاَلَ وَالإِكْرَامِ
O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor!

يَا ذَا الْعَرْشِ الَّذِي لاَ يَنَامُ
O Lord of the Throne who does not sleep!

وَيَا ذَا الْعِزِّ الَّذِي لاَ يُرَامُ
O‟ Lord of Exaltedness that does not collapse!

يَا قَاضِي الأُمُورِ
O‟ Fulfiller of the affairs!

يَا شَافِيَ الصُّدُورِ
O‟ He who heals the hearts!

اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً
Please provide an easy way out of my affairs

وَاقْذِفْ رَجَاءَكَ فِي قَلْبِي
and put Your Hope into my heart

حَتّى لاَ أَرْجُوَ أَحَداً سِوَاكَ عَلَيْكَ
so that I turn to no one but You.

سَيِّدِي تَوَكَّلْتُ وِإِلَيْكَ مَوْلاَيَ أَنَبْتُ فَارْحَمْنِي
O‟ my Master! I rely upon You. O‟ my Guardian! To You do I turn in repentance

وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
And to You is our Final Goal.

أَسْأَلُكَ يَا إِلهَ الآلِهَةِ
I ask You. O‟ Lord of the lords!

وَيَا جَبَّارَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ
O' Compeller of the compellers!

وَيَا كَبِيرَ الأَكَابِرِ (الَّذي من توكلَ عليه كفاهُ)
O‟ Greatest of the great ones!

وَكَانَ حَسْبَهُ وَبَالِغَ أَمْرِهِ عَلَيْكَ
O‟ He who suffices whoever relies upon Him! God suffices for him and He shall take care of his affairs.

تَوَكَّلْتُ فَاكْفِنِي
In You I have placed my trust, so please suffice for me

وِإِلَيْكَ أَنْبَتُ فَارْحَمْنِي وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
and to You do I turn in repentance. So please have mercy on me And to You is our Final Goal

فَاغْفِرْ لِي وَ لَا تُسَوِّدْ وَجْهِي يَوْمَ تَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ وَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ‌
so please forgive me and please do not blacken my face on the day on which some faces will be blackened and some will be whitened

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‌
for indeed You are Exalted in Might – All-Wise

وَ صَلِّ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي
Please have Mercy on me and overlook my faults

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.
as You are All-Forgiving, Merciful!
3.Night Dua- Muhammad ibn Abi Qarrih book Amal-i-Shahr-i-Ramadhan 9th


اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ آمَنْتُ بِكَ مُخْلِصاً لَكَ دِينِي
“O‟ my God! Praise belongs to You and there is no God but You. And I am Your bondsman. I believe in You with a sincere faith.

أَمْسَيْتُ عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَ وَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ سُوءِ عَمَلِي وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذُنُوبِيَ الَّتِي لَا يَغْفِرُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
I made it to the evening and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I repent to You from my evil deeds. I ask You to forgive my sins which no one but You can forgive.

صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ تَقَبَّلْ صَوْمِي وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ وَ بَلِّغْنِي انْسِلَاخَ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ
Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as), accept my fasting, honor me, and let me see the passage of this month.

يَا خَيْرَ الْمَوْلَى يَا مَوْضِعَ كُلِّ شَكْوَى وَ يَا سَامِعَ كُلِّ نَجْوَى وَ يَا شَاهِدَ كُلِّ مَلَإٍ وَ يَا عَالِمَ كُلِّ خَفِيَّةٍ
O‟ the Best Master! O‟ He who settles all complaints! O‟ He who hears all that is whispered! O‟ He who witnesses all that is in public! O‟ He who knows all which is kept secret!

وَ يَا كَاشِفَ مَا يَشَاءُ مِنْ بَلِيَّةٍ خَلِيلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ نَجِيِّ مُوسَى وَ مُصْطَفِي مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ
O‟ Remover of whatever calamities You wish to remove! Friend of Abraham (as), savior of Moses (as) and choser of Muhammad (as)!

أَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ مَنِ اشْتَدَّتْ فَاقَتُهُ وَ ضَعُفَتْ قُوَّتُهُ وَ قَلَّتْ حِيلَتُهُ دُعَاءَ الْغَرِيبِ الْغَرِيقِ الْمُضْطَرِّ الْبَائِسِ الْفَقِيرِ الَّذِي لَا يَجِدُ لِكَشْفِ مَا هُوَ فِيهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
I pray to You as one who is experiencing extreme destitute – one who is weakened, and feeble – the lonely one, the drowned, the distressed, the poverty-stricken, poor- he who finds no one to eliminate his sins but You.

فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ فَرِّجْ عَنِّي وَ اكْشِفْ مَا بِي مِنْ ضُرٍّ وَ تَقَبَّلْ صَوْمِي وَ صَلَاتِي فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.

Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as). Please relieve me, and remove all my sufferings. And accept my fasting and praying during this grand month. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as)- the pure ones.

4.Popular DAY Dua 9th


اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِيهِ نَصِيباً مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ الوَاسِعَةِ،
allahumma ij`al li fihi nasiban min rahmatika alwasi`ati
O Allah: on this day, (please) decide for me a share from Your expansive mercy,

وَاهْدِنِي فِيهِ لِبَرَاهِينِكَ السَّاطِعَةِ،
wahdiny fihi libarahinika alssati`ati
And guide me on this day to Your luminous proofs,

وَخُذْ بِنَاصِيَتِي إِلَى مَرْضَاتِكَ الجَامِعَةِ،
wa khudh binasiyaty ila mardatika aljami`ati
And take me from the forelock to Your all-inclusive satisfaction;

بِمَحَبّتِكَ يَا أَمَلَ المُشْتَاقِينَ.
bimahabbtika ya amala almushtaqina
Out of Your lovingness; O the hope of the eager ones.

5.Day Dua II- Iqbal Aamal-9th



اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ ذَنْبِي وَ اعْصِمْ عَمَلِي
Allahumma ighfir dhambi wa a’sim ‘amali
O Allah, forgive my sins and protect my deeds.

وَ اهْدِ قَلْبِي وَ اشْرَحْ صَدْرِي
Wa ihdi qalbi wa israh sadri
And guide my heart, and expand my chest.

وَ يَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَ جَوِّدْ فَهْمِي
Wa yassir li amri wa jawwid fahmi
And ease my affairs, and enhance my understanding.

وَ خَفِّفْ وِزْرِي وَ آمِنْ خَوْفِي
Wa khafif wizri wa ameen khawfi
And lighten my burdens, and make me secure from fear.

وَ ثَبِّتْ حُجَّتِي وَ ارْبُطْ جَأْشِي
Wa thabbit hujjati wa irbut jashi
And strengthen my argument, and calm my heart.

وَ بَيِّضْ وَجْهِي وَ ارْفَعْ جَاهِي
Wa bayyid wajhi wa irfa’ jahi
And whiten my face, and elevate my status.

وَ صَدِّقْ قَوْلِي وَ بَلِّغْ حَدِيثِي
Wa saddiq qauli wa balligh hadithi
And affirm my words, and convey my message.

وَ عَافِنِي فِي عُمُرِي
Wa ‘afini fi ‘umri
And grant me health in my lifetime.

وَ بَارِكْ لِي فِي مُنْقَلَبِي
Wa barik li fi munqalabi
And bless me in my outcomes.

وَ اعْصِمْنِي فِي جَمِيعِ أَحْوَالِي
Wa a’simni fi jami’i ahwali
And protect me in all my circumstances.

وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِي
Wa awsi’ ‘alayya fi rizqi
And expand my provision.

وَ سَهِّلْ عَلَيَّ مَطَالِبِي
Wa sahhil ‘alayya matalibi
And ease my requests.

وَ أَعْطِنِي مِنْ جَزِيلِ عَطَائِكَ
Wa a’tini min jazeel ‘ata’ika
And grant me from Your generous gifts.

وَ أَفْضَلِ مَا أَعْطَيْتَ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
Wa afdal ma a’tayta ahadan min khalqik
And the best of what You have given to anyone of Your creation.

وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي عَنْ جَمِيعِ مَا عِنْدِي بِحُسْنِ لُطْفِكَ الَّذِي عِنْدَكَ
Wa tajawaz ‘anni ‘an jami’i ma ‘indi bi husni lutfika alladhi ‘indaka
And overlook all that I have with the grace of Your kindness that is with You.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوِّي
Allahumma la tushmit bi ‘aduwwi
O Allah, do not give my enemy joy over me.

وَ لَا تُمَكِّنْهُ مِنْ عُنُقِي
Wa la tumakkinhu min ‘unqi
And do not empower him against me.

وَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِي فِي نَفْسِي
Wa la tafdhahni fi nafsi
And do not expose me in my own self.

وَ لَا تَفْجَعْنِي فِي جَارِي
Wa la taj’ani fi jari
And do not cause me grief over my neighbor.

وَ هَبْ لِي
Wa hab li
And grant me.

يَا إِلَهِي عَطِيَّةً كَرِيمَةً رَحِيمَةً
Ya ilahi ‘atiyyatan karimatan raheematan
O my God, grant me a gracious and merciful gift.

مِنْ عَطَائِكَ الَّذِي لَا فَقْرَ بَعْدَهُ
Min ‘ata’ika alladhi la faqr ba’dahu
From Your bounty that has no poverty after it.

فَقَدْ ضَعُفَتْ قُوَّتِي
Faqad da’ifat quwati
For my strength has weakened.

وَ انْقَطَعَ عَنِ الْخَلْقِ رَجَائِي
Wa anqat’a ‘ani al-khalqi rajai
And my hope from creation has ceased.

فَقُدْرَتُكَ
Faqudratuka
For Your power.

يَا رَبِّ أَنْ تَرْحَمَنِي
Ya Rabbi an tarhamani
O my Lord, have mercy on me.

وَ تُعَافِيَنِي كَقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُعَذِّبَنِي
Wa tu’afini kaqudratika ‘ala an tu’adhdhibani
And grant me health as Your power allows You to punish me.

وَ تَبْتَلِيَنِي فَاجْعَلْ
Wa tabtalini fa’j’al
And if You test me, then let.

يَا مَوْلَايَ فِيمَا قَضَيْتَ
Ya mawlaya fima qadayta
O my Master, in what You have decreed.

تَعْجِيلَ خَلَاصِي مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَا أَنَا فِيهِ
Ta’jeela khalaasi min jami’i ma ana fihi
Hasten my deliverance from all that I am in.

مِنَ الْمَكْرُوهِ وَ الْمَحْذُورِ وَ الْمَشَقَّةِ
Min al-makruhi wa al-mahdhoori wa al-mashaqati
From all that is disliked, feared, and difficult.

وَعَافِنِي مِنْهُ كُلِّهِ
Wa ‘afini minhu kullihi
And grant me health from it all.

يَا إِلَهِي لَا أَرْجُو لِدَفْعِ ذَلِكَ عَنِّْي
Ya ilahi la arju lidaf’i dhalika ‘anni
O my God, I do not hope for anyone to avert that from me.

أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
Ahadan min khalqik
Anyone from Your creation.

فَكُنْ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ
Fakun ya dh al-jalali wa al-ikram
So be it, O You of Glory and Honor.

عِنْدَ أَحْسَنِ ظَنِّي بِكَ
‘Inda ahsani dhanni bika
At my best expectations of You.

وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِذَلِكَ
Wa amnun ‘alayya bidhalika
And bestow upon me that.

وَعَلَى كُلِّ دَاعٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ
Wa ‘ala kulli da’ in da’aka bihi
And on every caller who calls You with it.

يَا مَوْلَايَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Ya mawlaya min al-mu’minin
O my Master, among the believers.

وَ أَنْتَ سَيِّدِي
Wa anta sayyidi
And You are my Lord.

أَمَرْتَ بِالدُّعَاءِ
Amarta bil-du’a
You commanded to invoke.

وَ ضَمِنْتَ لِمَنْ شِئْتَ الْإِجَابَةَ
Wa dhaminta liman shi'ta l-ijabah
And You guaranteed a response for whomever You will.

وَ وَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ الَّذِي لَا خُلْفَ لَهُ
Wa wa’duka al-haqq alladhi la khulf lahu
And Your promise is the truth, which has no alternative.

دعاء اليوم التاسع من شهر رمضان‌
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ ذَنْبِي وَ اعْصِمْ عَمَلِي وَ اهْدِ قَلْبِي وَ اشْرَحْ صَدْرِي وَ يَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَ جَوِّدْ فَهْمِي وَ خَفِّفْ وِزْرِي وَ آمِنْ خَوْفِي وَ ثَبِّتْ حُجَّتِي وَ ارْبُطْ جَأْشِي وَ بَيِّضْ وَجْهِي وَ ارْفَعْ جَاهِي وَ صَدِّقْ قَوْلِي وَ بَلِّغْ حَدِيثِي وَ عَافِنِي فِي عُمُرِي
“O my God! Please forgive my sins, protect my deeds and guide my heart. Please expand me my breast and ease my task for me, increase my intellect, lighten my burdens, turn my fear into security, prove my reason, strengthen my heart, brighten my face, raise my position, acknowledge my words, let what I say be effective, and grant me health in this life.

وَ بَارِكْ لِي فِي مُنْقَلَبِي وَ اعْصِمْنِي فِي جَمِيعِ أَحْوَالِي وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِي وَ سَهِّلْ عَلَيَّ مَطَالِبِي وَ أَعْطِنِي مِنْ جَزِيلِ عَطَائِكَ وَ أَفْضَلِ مَا أَعْطَيْتَ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي عَنْ جَمِيعِ مَا عِنْدِي بِحُسْنِ لُطْفِكَ الَّذِي عِنْدَكَ
Please bless my afterlife. Protect me in all my states and extend my means of livelihood, ease the attainment of my demands, grant me Your Abundant Gifts and the best of what You granted to any of Your creatures, and overlook all my faults by Your Kindness.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوِّي وَ لَا تُمَكِّنْهُ مِنْ عُنُقِي وَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِي فِي نَفْسِي وَ لَا تَفْجَعْنِي فِي جَارِي وَ هَبْ لِي
O‟ my God! Do not subject me to the enemy‟s ridicule and do not let him overcome me. Please do not disgrace me and do not afflict me with bad neighbors.

يَا إِلَهِي عَطِيَّةً كَرِيمَةً رَحِيمَةً مِنْ عَطَائِكَ الَّذِي لَا فَقْرَ بَعْدَهُ فَقَدْ ضَعُفَتْ قُوَّتِي وَ انْقَطَعَ عَنِ الْخَلْقِ رَجَائِي فَقُدْرَتُكَ
O‟ my God! Please bestow on me of Your Kind and Merciful Gifts which those who were bestowed such gifts never became poor again. My strength has turned into weakness, and I have lost hopes in the people.

يَا رَبِّ أَنْ تَرْحَمَنِي وَ تُعَافِيَنِي كَقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُعَذِّبَنِي وَ تَبْتَلِيَنِي فَاجْعَلْ
O‟ my Lord! You have power to have mercy on me and grant me good health as well as to punish me and cause me calamities.

يَا مَوْلَايَ فِيمَا قَضَيْتَ تَعْجِيلَ خَلَاصِي مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَا أَنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْمَكْرُوهِ وَ الْمَحْذُورِ وَ الْمَشَقَّةِ وَ عَافِنِي مِنْهُ كُلِّهِ
O‟ my Guardian! In what You destine for me, please let there be release from all the bad things, dangers and hardships in it and safeguard me from all of it.

يَا إِلَهِي لَا أَرْجُو لِدَفْعِ ذَلِكَ عَنِّي أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَكُنْ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ عِنْدَ أَحْسَنِ ظَنِّي بِكَ وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِذَلِكَ وَ عَلَى كُلِّ دَاعٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ
O‟ my God! I have no hopes from anyone of Your creatures fending this off of me. O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor! Indeed since my expectations of You are very high, please favor me with this, and regarding all for which I prayed for.

يَا مَوْلَايَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ أَنْتَ سَيِّدِي أَمَرْتَ بِالدُّعَاءِ وَ ضَمِنْتَ لِمَنْ شِئْتَ الْإِجَابَةَ وَ وَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ الَّذِي لَا خُلْفَ لَهُ.
O‟ Guardian of the believers! O‟ my Master! You ordered us to pray and guaranteed its fulfillment, and Your Promise is true and it shall not be broken.”
6.Syed Ibn Baqi Dua- Iqbal Aamal 9th
يوم التاسع برواية السيد بن باقي رحمه الله في إختياره
Yawm al-tāsi'i biriwāyat al-Sayyid ibn Bāqī raḥimahu Allāh fī ikhtiārih
The ninth day, as narrated by Sayyid Ibn Baqi, may Allah have mercy on him, in his preferences

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
Allāhumma ṣallī 'ala Muḥammadin wa ālih al-ṭāhirīn
O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his pure family

وَ افْتَحْ لِي فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا مِنْكَ أَبْوَابَ الرَّحْمَةِ
Wa iftaḥ lī fī yawmi hādhā mink abwāba al-raḥmah
And open for me, on this day, the doors of mercy from You

اللَّهُمَّ فَإِنَّكَ تَسْتَجِيبُ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
Allāhumma fa-innaka tasta jību al-ṣalāh 'ala Muḥammadin
O Allah, indeed You respond to the prayer for Muhammad

وَ قَدْ سَأَلْتُكَ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا
Wa qad sa'altuka al-ṣalāh 'alayh fī yawmi hādhā
And I have asked You for blessings upon him on this day

فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي فِي نَفْسِي صَالِحَ مَا أَدْعُو بِهِ فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا
Fa-ijbib lī fī nafsī ṣāliḥ mā ad'ū bihi fī yawmi hādhā
So answer me with what is good for my soul in this day

وَ مَا قَبْلَهُ وَ مَا بَعْدَهُ
Wa mā qablahu wa mā ba'dahu
And what is before it and what is after it.

وَ فِي شَهْرِي هَذَا كَمَا اسْتَجَبْتَ
Wa fi shahrī hādhā kamā istajabta
And in this month, as You have answered me

لِي فِي مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
Li fī Muḥammadin ṣallā Allāh 'alayh wa ālih
For me in Muhammad, may Allah's peace be upon him and his family

اللَّهُمَّ أَعْلِ عَلَى الْبُنْيَانِ بُنْيَانَهُ
Allāhumma a'lī 'alá al-bunyān bunyānahu
O Allah, elevate his status in the building

وَ أَنْزِلْهُ مَنْزِلَتَهُ
Wa anzilhu manzilatah
And grant him his rightful place

وَ زَكِّهِ وَ اجْعَلْهُ مَقْبُولَ الشَّهَادَةِ
Wa zakkih wa aj'alhu maqbūla al-shahādah
And purify him, and make him accepted witness

مَرْضِيَّ الْمَقَالَةِ كَمَا حَكَمَ وَ عَدَلَ
Marḍiyy al-maqālah kamā ḥakama wa 'adala
Accepted in his speech as he judged and was just

وَ جَهَدَ وَ لَمْ يُقَصِّرْ وَ نَصَحَ لِأُمَّتِهِ
Wa jahada wa lam yuqassir wa naṣāḥa li-ummatih
And he strived without failing, and advised his community

وَ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ وَ صَبَرَ عَلَى حُسْنِ بَلَائِكَ
Wa jāhada fī sabīlik wa ṣabara 'alá ḥusni balā'ika
And struggled in Your cause and was patient with Your good tests

حَتَّى أَتَاهُ الْيَقِينُ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
Ḥattá atāhu al-yaqīn wa ṣallā Allāh 'alayh wa ālih
Until certainty came to him, and may Allah bless him and his family

إِلَهِي أَنَا الَّذِي لَمْ أَزَلْ أُذْنِبُ
Ilāhī anā allatī lam azal uḏnibu
O my God, I am the one who continuously sins

وَ تَغْفِرُ وَ أُخْطِئُ وَ تُحْسِنُ إِلَيَّ
Wa taghfiru wa uḫṭi'u wa tuḥsin ilayya
And You forgive, and I err, and You treat me well

أَنَا الَّذِي حَمَلْتُ الذُّنُوبَ
Anā allatī ḥamaltu al-dhunūb
I am the one who bears sins

أَنَا الْأَسِيرُ بِبَلِيَّتِي
Anā al-asīr bi-balaya
I am the one imprisoned by my misfortune

أَنَا الْمُجَدِّدُ خَطِيئَتِي
Anā al-mujaddid khaṭī'ati
I am the one renewing my mistake

أَنَا الْمُنْقَطَعُ بِي
Anā al-munqaṭi'u bī
I am the one severed by it

وَ قَدْ وَقَفْتُ نَفْسِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
Wa qad wafaqtu nafsī bayna yadayka
And I have placed myself before You

مَوْقِفَ الْمُذْنِبِينَ الْمُتَجَرِّءِينَ عَلَيْكَ
Mawqif al-mudhnibīn al-mujara'īn 'alayka
In the position of sinners who dare to address You

الْمُسْتَخِفِّينَ بِحَقِّكَ وَ وَعْدِكَ
Al-mustakhiffīn bi-ḩaqqika wa wa'dika
Who belittle Your rights and promises

النَّاقِصِينَ لِحَقِّكَ
Al-nāqiṣīn li-ḥaqqika
Who neglect the rights owed to You

[َّاقِضِينَ لِعَهْدِكَ‌]
[n-nāqiḍīn li-'ahdika]
Who breach their covenant with You

وَ مَوْقِفَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَتْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ
Wa mawqif man aslamathu dhunūbuhu
And in the position of one whose sins have overtaken him

وَ تَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُ خَلِيلُهُ وَ قَرِينُهُ
Wa tabarra'a minhu khalīluhu wa qarīnahu
And his friend and companion disown him

إِلَهِي فَارْحَمِ الْيَوْمَ صَرْعَتِي
Ilāhī fārḥam al-yawma ṣar'ati
O my God, have mercy on my collapse today

وَ عَثْرَتِي وَ أَقِلْنِي زَلَّتِي
Wa 'aṭratī wa aqilnī zallaṭī
And my stumbling, and free me from my missteps

وَ اجْعَلْنِي بَعْدَ الْيَأْسِ وَ سُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ
Wa aj'alnī ba'da al-yās wa sū' al-munqalabi
And make me, after despair and bad outcomes

حَسَنَ الظَّنِّ بِكَ حِينَ وُقُوفِي
Ḥasan al-ẓanni bika ḥīna wuqūfī
Have good expectations of You when I stand

بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ يَا مَالِكَ رِقِّي
Bayna yadayka yā mālik riqqī
Before You, O Master of my captivity

ارْحَمْنِي‌ إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Irḥamni inna ka 'alá kulli shay'in qadīr
Have mercy on me, indeed You are capable of all things

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
Wa ṣallā Allāh 'ala Muḥammadin wa ālih al-ṭāhirīn
And may Allah bless Muhammad and his pure family.
