Dua Ramadan Day 01
يَا مَنْ تُحَلُّ بِهِ عُقَدُ الْمَكَارِهِ
Yā man tuḥallu bihi ʿuqud al-makārih
O You by whom the knots of hardships are untied
وَ يَا مَنْ يُفْثَأُ بِهِ حَدُّ الشَّدَائِدِ
Wa yā man yuftha’u bihi ḥaddu al-shadā’id
O You by whom the severity of difficulties is softened
وَ يَا مَنْ يُلْتَمَسُ مِنْهُ الْمَخْرَجُ
Wa yā man yultamisu minhu al-makhraj
O You from whom an escape is sought
Ilā rawḥi al-faraj
Towards relief and ease
ذَلَّتْ لِقُدْرَتِكَ الصِّعَابُ
Dhallat liqudratika al-ṣiʿāb
Difficulties submit to Your power
وَ تَسَبَّبَتْ بِلُطْفِكَ الْأَسْبَابُ
Wa tasabbabat biluṭfika al-asbāb
And means are made possible by Your kindness
وَ جَرَى بِطَاعَتِكَ الْقَضَاءُ
Wa jarā biṭāʿatika al-qaḍā’
Destiny flows according to Your obedience
وَ مَضَتْ عَلَى إِرَادَتِكَ الْأَشْيَاءُ
Wa maḍat ʿalā irādatika al-ashyā’
And all things proceed according to Your will
فَهِيَ بِمَشِيَّتِكَ مُؤْتَمِرَةٌ
Fahiya bimashiyyatika mu’tamirah
Thus, they obey Your command by Your will
وَبِإِرَادَتِكَ مُنْزَجِرَةٌ
Wa bi’irādatika munzajirah
And they refrain by Your decree
أَنْتَ الْمَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ
Anta al-madʿū lil-muhimmāt
You are the One called upon for critical matters
وَ أَنْتَ الْمَفْزَعُ فِي الْمُلِمَّاتِ
Wa anta al-mafzaʿu fī al-mulimāt
And You are the refuge in times of distress
لَا يَنْدَفِعُ مِنْهَا إِلَّا مَا دَفَعْتَ
Lā yandafiʿu minhā illā mā dafaʿta
None of it is repelled except by what You repel
وَ لَا يَنْكَشِفُ إِلَّا مَا كَشَفْتَ
Wa lā yankashifu illā mā kashafta
And none of it is uncovered except by what You uncover
يَا رَبِّ مَا قَدْ تَكَأَّدَنِي ثِقْلُهُ
Yā Rabbī mā qad taka’adanī thiqluhu
O Lord, what has burdened me with its weight
وَ أَلَمَّ بِي مَا قَدْ بَهَظَنِي حَمْلُهُ
Wa alamma bī mā qad bahaẓanī ḥamluhu
And what has overwhelmed me with its load
وَبِقُدْرَتِكَ أَوْرَدْتَهُ عَلَيَّ
Wa biqudratika awradtahu ʿalayya
By Your power, You have brought it upon me
وَبِسُلْطَانِكَ وَجَّهْتَهُ إِلَيَّ
Wa bisulṭānika wajjahtahu ilayya
And by Your authority, You have directed it to me
وَ لَا مُصْدِرَ لِمَا أَوْرَدْتَ
Wa lā muṣdira limā awradt
There is no way to release what You have sent
وَ لَا مُورِدَ لِمَا أَصْدَرْتَ
Wa lā mūrida limā aṣdart
Nor is there an approach to what You have withdrawn
وَ لَا صَارِفَ لِمَا وَجَّهْتَ
Wa lā ṣārifa limā wajjaht
There is none who can turn away what You have directed
وَ لَا فَاتِحَ لِمَا أَغْلَقْتَ
Wa lā fātiḥa limā aghlaqta
And no opener for what You have closed
وَ لَا مُغْلِقَ لِمَا فَتَحْتَ
Wa lā mughliqa limā fataḥta
And no closer for what You have opened
وَ لَا مُيَسِّرَ لِمَا عَسَّرْتَ
Wa lā muyassira limā ʿassarta
And no one can ease what You have made difficult
وَ لَا مُعَسِّرَ لِمَا يَسَّرْتَ
Wa lā muʿassira limā yassarta
And no one can make difficult what You have made easy
وَ لَا نَاصِرَ لِمَنْ خَذَلْتَ
Wa lā nāṣira liman khadhalta
And there is no helper for the one You forsake
وَ لَا خَاذِلَ لِمَنْ نَصَرْتَ
Wa lā khādila liman naṣarta
And no one can forsake whom You have supported
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Faṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad
So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
وَ افْتَحْ لِي يَارَبِّ بَابَ الْفَرَجِ بِطَوْلِكَ
Wa iftaḥ lī yā Rabb bāba alfaraji biṭawlik
And open for me, O Lord, the door of relief by Your bounty
وَ اكْسِرْ عَنِّي سُلْطَانَ الْهَمِّ بِحَوْلِكَ
Wa ksir ʿannī sulṭāna alhammi biḥawlik
And break the power of sorrow over me by Your might
وَ أَنِلْنِي حُسْنَ النَّظَرِ فِيمَا شَكَوْتُ
Wa anilnī ḥusna alnaẓari fīmā shakawt
And grant me good perception regarding what I have complained of
وَ أَذِقْنِي حَلَاوَةَ الصُّنْعِ فِيمَا سَأَلْتُ
Wa adhiqnī ḥalāwata alṣunʿi fīmā sa’alt
And let me taste the sweetness of Your action in what I asked
وَ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ فَرَجاً هَنِيئاً
Wa hab lī min ladunka farajan hanīʾan
And grant me from Yourself a relief that is pleasant
وَ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مَخْرَجاً وَحِيّاً
Wa ajʿal lī min ʿindika makhrajān waḥiyyā
And provide for me from You an immediate escape
وَ لَا تَشْغَلْنِي بِالاهْتِمَامِ عَنْ تَعَاهُدِ فُرُوضِكَ
Wa lā tashghalnī bilihtimāmi ʿan taʿāhudi furūḍik
And do not let my concerns distract me from fulfilling Your obligations
وَ اسْتِعْمَالِ سُنَّتِكَ فَقَدْ ضِقْتُ يَا رَبِّ
Wa istiʿmāli sunnatik faqad ḍiqtu yā Rabb
And from following Your way, for I have become weary, O Lord
Limā nazala bī dharʿan
Because of what has befallen me, I have become weak
وَ امْتَلَأْتُ بِحَمْلِ مَا حَدَثَ عَلَيَّ هَمّاً
Wa imtala’tu biḥamli mā ḥadatha ʿalayya hamman
And I have been filled with worry due to what has occurred to me
وَ أَنْتَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى كَشْفِ مَا مُنِيتُ بِهِ
Wa anta alqādiru ʿalā kashfi mā munītu bihi
And You are capable of removing what I have been afflicted with
وَ دَفْعِ مَا وَقَعْتُ فِيهِ
Wa dafʿi mā waqaʿtu fīhi
And repelling what I have fallen into
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Faṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad
So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
وَ افْعَلْ بِي ذَلِكَ وَ إِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَوْجِبْهُ مِنْكَ
Wa ifʿal bī dhālika wa in lam astawjibhu minka
And do this for me, even if I do not deserve it from You
يَا رَبِّ يَا ذَا الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
Yā Rabbī yā dhā alʿarshi alkarīm
O Lord, O Possessor of the noble Throne
وَ السُّلْطَانِ الْعَظِيمِ
Wa alsulṭāni alʿaẓīm
And the great authority
يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ خَلَوْنَا بِهِ وَحْدَنَا
Yā khayra man khalawnā bihi waḥdanā
O best One whom we confide in when alone
وَ يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ أَشَرْنَا إِلَيْهِ بِكَفِّنَا
Wa yā khayra man ashernā ilayhi bikaffinā
And O best One to whom we gesture with our hands
نَسْأَلُكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْ تُلْهِمَنَا الْخَيْرَ وَ تُعْطِيَنَاهُ
Nas’aluka Allāhumma an tulhimanā alkhayra wa tuʿṭīnāhu
We ask You, O Allah, to inspire us with goodness and grant it to us
وَ أَنْ تَصْرِفَ عَنَّا الشَّرَّ وَ تَكْفِيَنَاهُ
Wa an taṣrifa ʿannā alsharra wa takfiyanāhu
And to turn away evil from us and suffice us from it
وَ أَنْ تَدْحَرَ عَنَّا الشَّيْطَانَ وَ تُبَعِّدَنَاهُ
Wa an tadhara ʿannā alshayṭāna wa tubaʿidanāhu
And to drive away Satan from us and keep him distant
وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنَا الْفِرْدَوْسَ وَ تُحِلَّنَاهُ
Wa an tarzuqanā alfirdawsa wa tuḥillanāhu
And to grant us Paradise and make us dwell therein
وَ أَنْ تَسْقِيَنَا مِنْ حَوْضِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Wa an tasqiyanā min ḥawḍi Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad
And to give us drink from the basin of Muhammad and his family
وَ تُوْرِدَنَاهُ وَ نَدْعُوكَ
Wa tuwridanāhu wa nadʿūka
And to bring us to it, and we call upon You
يَا رَبَّنَا تَضَرُّعاً وَ خِيفَةً وَ رَغْبَةً وَ رَهْبَةً
Yā Rabbanā taḍarruʿan wa khīfatan wa raghbatan wa rahbatan
O our Lord, in humility, fear, hope, and awe
وَ خَوْفاً وَ طَمَعاً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Wa khawfan wa ṭamaʿan innaka samīʿu alduʿā’
And in fear and longing, truly You are the Hearer of supplications
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
Wa ṣallā Allāhu ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ālihi
And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ مَنْ عَاذَ بِكَ مِنْكَ
Allāhumma innī as’aluka biḥurmati man ʿādha bika minka
O Allah, I ask You by the sanctity of the one who seeks refuge in You from You
وَ لَجَأَ إِلَى عِزِّكَ وَ اسْتَظَلَّ بِفَيْئِكَ
Wa laja’a ilā ʿizzika wa istaẓalla bifi’ika
And who has taken shelter in Your might and sought shade in Your mercy
وَ اعْتَصَمَ بِحَبْلِكَ وَ لَمْ يَثِقْ إِلَّا بِكَ
Wa iʿtaṣama biḥablika wa lam yathiq illā bika
And has held firmly to Your rope, trusting none but You
يَا جَزِيلَ الْعَطَايَا وَ يَا فَكَّاكَ الْأُسَارَى
Yā jazīla alʿaṭāyā wa yā fakkāka alusārā
O Generous in giving, O Liberator of the captives
أَنْتَ الْمَفْزَعُ فِي الْمُلِمَّاتِ وَ أَنْتَ الْمَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ
Anta almafzaʿu fī almulimāt wa anta almadʿū lilmuhimmāt
You are the refuge in hardships, and You are the One called upon for urgent matters
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
وَ اجْعَلْ لِي فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً
Wa ajʿal lī farajan wa makhrajā
And grant me relief and a way out
وَ ارْزُقْنِي رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً بِمَا شِئْتَ
Wa arzuqnī rizqan wāsiʿan bimā shi’ta
And provide me with abundant sustenance as You will
إِذَا شِئْتَ وَ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Idhā shi’ta wa kayfa shi’ta yā arḥama alrāḥimīn
Whenever You will and however You will, O Most Merciful of the merciful
