New Month Rites/ Salat
Iqbal Aamal -The following supplications are found in Al-Mukhtasar min al-Muntakhab for the beginning of the month of Rabi ul-Akher
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ إِلَهُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ [حَيٌ] وَ مَالِكُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
“O‟ my God! You are the God of all things, the Creator of all things, the Owner of all things and the Lord of all things.
أَسْأَلُكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَى وَ الْغَايَةِ وَ الْمُنْتَهَى وَ بِمَا خَالَفْتَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْأَنْوَارِ وَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَ الْجَنَّةِ وَ النَّارِ وَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ
I ask You by the most trustworthy stronghold, the end and the ultimate destination, that with which You separated light and darkness, Paradise and Hell, this world and the Hereafter,
وَ بِأَعْظَمِ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي اللَّوْحِ الْمَحْفُوظِ وَ أَتَمِّ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ نُبْلًا وَ أَزْهَرِ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي الزَّبُورِ عِزّاً وَ أَجَلِّ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ قَدْراً
and by Your Grand Names on the Protected Tablet and Your most Perfect Names in the Torah, and Your most well-known Names in the Psalms and by Your Most Exalted Names in the Bible
وَ أَرْفَعِ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ ذِكْراً وَ أَعْظَمِ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي الْكُتُبِ الْمُنَزَّلَةِ وَ أَفْضَلِهَا
and by Your Highest Names mentioned in the Qur‟an and by Your Grand Names in the revealed books and by their most Noble ones,
وَ أَسَرِّ أَسْمَائِكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ
and by the most hidden Names near You as there is none like You.
وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ قُدْرَتِكَ وَ بِالْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ مَا حَمَلَ وَ بِالْكُرْسِيِّ الْكَرِيمِ وَ مَا وَسِعَ
I ask You by Your Might, Power, Supreme Throne and whatever carries the Noble Throne and its extent.
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB)
وَ تُبِيحَ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَرْجَكَ الْقَرِيبَ الْعَظِيمَ الْأَعْظَمَ
I ask You to bestow on me Your close and greatest relief.
اللَّهُمَّ أَتْمِمْ عَلَيَّ إِحْسَانَكَ الْقَدِيمَ الْأَقْدَمَ وَ تَابِعْ إِلَيَّ مَعْرُوفَكَ الدَّائِمَ الْأَدْوَمَ وَ أَنْعِشْنِي بِعِزِّ جَلَالِكَ الْكَرِيمِ الْأَكْرَمِ
O‟ my God! Please perfect Your most eternal Kindness and Your most Perpetual goodness for me. Let me live under the honor of Your Glory - The most Benevolent.
Then recite the following verses,
وَ إِلهُكُمْ إِلهٌ واحِدٌ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِيمُ
“And your Allah is One Allah. There is no God but He, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”(2:163)
اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَ لا نَوْمٌ
“Allah. There is no God but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep…(2 :255)
الم اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
" A. L. M. Allah. There is no God but He--the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.( 3:1-2)
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْحامِ كَيْفَ يَشاءُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
“He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no God but He, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.(3:6)
شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ أُولُوا الْعِلْمِ قائِماً بِالْقِسْطِ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
“There is no God but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no God but He, the Exalted in Power, the Wise.(3:18)
اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ لا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ذلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ
“Allah. There is no God but He: of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt.(4:87)
لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ خالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَاعْبُدُوهُ وَ هُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
“That is Allah, your Lord! There is no God but He, the Creator of all things: then worship ye Him: and He hath power to dispose of all affairs.(6:102)
وَكِيلٌ اتَّبِعْ ما أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ أَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
“Follow what You are taught by inspiration from Your Lord: there is no God but He: and turn aside from those who join gods with Allah.(6:106)
قُلْ يا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعاً الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحيِي وَ يُمِيتُ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَ رَسُولِهِ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ الَّذِي يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَ كَلِماتِهِ وَ اتَّبِعُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
“Say: “O‟ men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no God but He: it is He That giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided.(7:158)
وَ ما أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا إِلهاً واحِداً لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ سُبْحانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
“…yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah. There is no God but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).(9:31) “But if they turn away, Say: “(Allah) sufficeth me: there is no God but He: On Him is my trust,- He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme!(9:129)
حَتَّى إِذا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قالَ آمَنْتُ أَنَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُوا إِسْرائِيلَ وَ أَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ
We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite. At length, when overwhelmed with the flood, he said: “I believe that there is no God except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to God in Islam).”“Say: “He is my Lord! There is no God but He! On Him is my trust, and to Him do I turn!(13:30)
وَ إِلَيْهِ مَتابِ يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلائِكَةَ بِالرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلى مَنْ يَشاءُ مِنْ عِبادِهِ أَنْ أَنْذِرُوا أَنَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاتَّقُونِ
“He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): “Warn (Man) that there is no God but I: so do your duty unto Me.(16:2)
وَ إِنْ تَجْهَرْ بِالْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَ أَخْفى اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ الْأَسْماءُ الْحُسْنى
“If You pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. Allah. There is no God but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names.(20:7-8)
وَ أَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِما يُوحى إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَ أَقِمِ الصَّلاةَ لِذِكْرِي إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ أَكادُ أُخْفِيها لِتُجْزى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِما تَسْعى
“I have chosen You: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to You). “Verily, I am Allah. There is no God but I: So serve You Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. “Verily the Hour is coming – My design is to keep it hidden – for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of itsEndeavour.”1
إِنَّما إِلهُكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماً
“But the god of you all is the One Allah. There is no God but He: all things He comprehends in His knowledge.”2
وَ ما أَرْسَلْنا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ أَنَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدُونِ
“Not an apostle did We send before You without this inspiration sent by Us to him: that there is no God but I; therefore worship and serve Me.”3
وَ ذَا النُّونِ إِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغاضِباً فَظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ نَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنادى فِي الظُّلُماتِ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
“And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the depths of darkness, “There is no God but You: glory to You: I was indeed wrong!””4
فَتَعالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
“Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no God but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour!”5
اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
“(Allah)!- there is no God but He!- Lord of the Throne Supreme!”6
وَ هُوَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأُولى وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
“And He is Allah. There is no God but He. To Him be praise, at the first and at the last: for Him is the Command, and to Him shall ye (all) be brought back.”7
وَ لا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلهاً آخَرَ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
“And call not, besides Allah, on another god. There is no God but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will ye (all) be brought back.”8
يا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ خالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَ الْأَرْضِ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ
“O‟ men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! Is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no God but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth?”9
ذلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّى تُصْرَفُونَ
“…such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no God but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)?”10
غافِرِ الذَّنْبِ وَ قابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
“Who forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). There is no God but He: to Him is the final goal.”11
ذلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ خالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ
“Such is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things, there is no God but He: Then how ye are deluded away from the Truth!”12
ذلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَتَبارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعالَمِينَ هُوَ الْحَيُّ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ
“…such is Allah your Lord. So Glory be to God!, the Lord of the Worlds! He is the Living (One): There is no God but He: Call upon Him, giving Him sincere devotion. Praise be to God!, Lord of the Worlds!”13
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ رَبِّ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ ما بَيْنَهُما إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُوقِنِينَ
“The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure.”14
لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ رَبُّكُمْ وَ رَبُّ آبائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
"There is no God but He: It is He Who gives life and gives death,- The Lord and Cherisher to you and your earliest ancestors.(44:8)
فَأَنَّى لَهُمْ إِذا جاءَتْهُمْ ذِكْراهُمْ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ اسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْبِكَ وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِناتِ
“…and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition? Know, therefore, that there is no God but Allah, and ask forgiveness for Your fault, and for the men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes.(47:18-19)
هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهادَةِ هُوَ الرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِيمُ هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
“Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory be to God!. (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.(59:23)
اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
“Allah. There is no God but He: and on Allah, therefore, let the Believers put their trust.(64:13)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عَفْواً لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ عُقُوبَةٌ وَ رِضًا لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ سَخَطٌ وَ عَافِيَةً لَيْسَ بَعْدَهَا بَلَاءٌ وَ سَعَادَةً لَيْسَ بَعْدَهَا شَقَاءٌ وَ هُدًى لَا يَكُونُ بَعْدَهُ ضَلَالَةٌ وَ إِيمَاناً لم [لَا] يُدَاخِلُهُ كُفْرٌ وَ قَلْباً لَا يُدَاخِلُهُ فِتْنَةٌ
O‟ my God! I ask You for forgiveness after which there is no punishment. And Your Pleasure after which there is no wrath. And well-being after which there is no calamity. And prosperity after which there is no hardship. And guidance after which there is no deviation. And faith which no disbelief can penetrate. And a heart which no sedition can penetrate.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ السَّعَةَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَ الْحُجَّةَ الْبَالِغَةَ وَ الْقَوْلَ الثَّابِتَ فِي الْحَياةِ الدُّنْيا وَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَ أَنْ تُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ الْأَمَانَ وَ الفرح [الْفَرَجَ] وَ السُّرُورَ وَ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ
O‟ my God! I ask You for room in the grave, clear proofs and steady words, protection, relief, pleasure, and great blessings.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَرِّفْنِي بَرَكَةَ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ وَ يُمْنَهُ وَ ارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَهُ وَ اصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّهُ وَ اجْعَلْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ الْفَائِزِينَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny. Please let me know the blessedness of this month and its having good omen.
O‟ God! Please bless me with its abundant goodness, and safeguard us from any evil. Please let us be amongst the saved ones during it. By Your Mercy! O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful!
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ وَهَّابُ الْخَيْرِ فَهَبْ لِي شَوْقاً إِلَى لِقَائِكَ وَ إِشْفَاقاً مِنْ عَذَابِكَ وَ حَيَاءً مِنْكَ وَ تَوْقِيراً وَ إِجْلَالًا حَتَّى يَوْجَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَلْبِي وَ يَقْشَعِرَّ مِنْهُ جِلْدِي وَ يَتَجَافَى لَهُ جَنْبِي وَ تَدْمَعَ مِنْهُ عَيْنِي وَ لَا أَخْلُوَ مِنْ ذِكْرِكَ فِي لَيْلِي وَ نَهَارِي يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
O‟ my God! You are He who gives the good. So please grant me a strong desire to meet You, fear of Your Punishment, shame from You, fear of You that shakes my heart, vibrates my skin, moves my sides, and makes me cry so that I never abandon Your Remembrance in the day or at night. O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful!
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُثْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَ مَا عَسَى أَنْ يَبْلُغَ مَدْحِي وَ ثَنَائِي مَعَ قِلَّةِ عَمَلِي وَ قِصَرِ رَأْيِي وَ أَنْتَ الْخَالِقُ وَ أَنَا الْمَخْلُوقُ وَ أَنْتَ الْمَالِكُ وَ أَنَا الْمَمْلُوكُ وَ أَنْتَ الرَّبُّ وَ أَنَا الْعَبْدُ وَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ وَ أَنَا الذَّلِيلُ وَ الْأَمْوَاتِ
O my God! I praise You. But where does my praising You reach with my minor deeds and my weak intellect. And You are the Creator! And I am the created. And You are the Owner, and I am the bondsman! And You are the Lord and I am the servant! And You are Exalted in Might but I am debased.
وَ أَنْتَ الْقَوِيُّ وَ أَنَا الضَّعِيفُ وَ أَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَ أَنَا الْفَقِيرُ وَ أَنْتَ الْمُعْطِي وَ أَنَا السَّائِلُ وَ أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ وَ أَنَا خَلْقٌ أَمُوتُ
And You are Powerful while I am weak. And You are All-Sufficient while I am poor. You bestow and I beg! And You are the Everlasting and shall not perish, while I am going to die.
فَاغْفِرْ لِي وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ أَعْطِنِي سُؤْلِي فِي دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي وَ عَنْ جَمِيعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ الْأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ
Then please forgive me and have Mercy on me. Grant my requests in this world and the Hereafter and overlook my faults and those of all the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women whether dead or alive.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ وَ صَفِيِّكَ وَ خِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB); Your Servant, Messenger, Prophet and Your Chosen One, and the best of Your creatures.
اللَّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ وَ كَرِّمْ مَقَامَهُ وَ أَجْزِلْ ثَوَابَهُ وَ أَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهُ وَ أَظْهِرْ عُذْرَهُ وَ عَظِّمْ نُورَهُ وَ أَدِمْ كَرَامَتَهُ وَ أَلْحِقْ بِهِ أُمَّتَهُ وَ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ وَ أَقِرَّ بِذَلِكَ عَيْنَهُ
O‟ my God! Please raise his rank, honor his position, increase his reward, give victory to his proof, clarify his excuse, exalt his light, extend his nobility, join his nation and Progeny with him, and make him happy this way.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مُحَمَّداً أَكْرَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ تَبَعاً وَ أَعْظَمَهُمْ مَنْزِلَةً وَ أَشْرَفَهُمْ كَرَامَةً وَ أَعْلَاهُمْ دَرَجَةً وَ أَفْسَحَهُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلًا
O‟ my God! Please let Muhammad (MGB) be the noblest of the Prophets (MGB) in terms of his followers, with the best position, most honored standing, highest rank, and the most expansive abode in Paradise.
اللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مُحَمَّداً الدَّرَجَةَ وَ الْوَسِيلَةَ [درجة الوسيلة] وَ شَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهُ وَ عَظِّمْ نُورَهُ وَ بُرْهَانَهُ وَ تَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهُ فِي أُمَّتِهِ وَ تَقَبَّلْ صَلَاةَ أُمَّتِهِ عَلَيْهِ
O‟ my God! Please grant Muhammad (MGB) rank and means, honor his foundation, exalt his light and reasoning, and accept his intercession on behalf of his nation, and accept his nations‟ prayer for peace for him.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَلَّغَ رِسَالاتِكَ وَ تَلَا آيَاتِكَ وَ نَصَحَ لِعِبَادِكَ وَ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ [وَ عَبَدَكَ] حَتَّى أَتَاهُ الْيَقِينُ
O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Your servant Muhammad as he (MGB) made a serious effort to express Your Message, recited Your Verses, advised Your Servants, struggled in Your Way and served You until death took him away.
اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ مُحَمَّداً مَعَ كُلِّ شَرَفٍ شَرَفاً وَ مَعَ كُلِّ فَضْلٍ [فضيلة] فَضْلًا وَ مَعَ كُلِّ كَرَامَةٍ كَرَامَةً وَ مَعَ كُلِّ سَعَادَةٍ سَعَادَةً حَتَّى تَجْعَلَ مُحَمَّداً فِي الشَّرَفِ الْأَعْلَى مِنَ [مع] الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى
O‟ my God! Please increase the honor of Muhammad (MGB) with all honors, his nobility with all nobilities, his benevolence with all benevolence, his prosperity with all prosperities so much that Muhammad (MGB) is raised to the highest of all high ranks.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ [عَلَى] آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ سَهِّلْ لِي مَحَبَّتِي [محنتي] وَ بَلِّغْنِي أُمْنِيَّتِي وَ وَسِّعْ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِي وَ اقْضِ عَنِّي دَيْنِي وَ فَرِّجْ عَنِّي هَمِّي وَ غَمِّي وَ كَرْبِي وَ يَسِّرْ لِي إِرَادَتِي وْ أَوْصِلْنِي إِلَى بُغْيَتِي سَرِيعاً عَاجِلًا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB), ease my troubles and let me reach what I hope for, and extend my sustenance. Pay back my debts and relieve me from my sadness and grief. Please easily provide what I need, and let me quickly get what I want. O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful!”
