Dua when taking Ghusl – Dua when taking Ghusl

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَ بِاللّٰہِ

Bismillahi wabillahi

I commence by the name of Allah and seek help from Him.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْعَلْہُ لِیْ نُوْرًا وَ طَہُوْرًا وَ حِرْزًا وَ اَمْنًا

Allahummajalhu lii nuran watahuran wahirzan wa-amnan

O Allah render this ghusl an illumination for me and that it may purify me, protect me

مِنْ کُلِّ خَوْفٍ وَ شِفَآءً مِنْ کُلِّ دَآءٍ وَ سُقْمٍ

min kulle khawfin wa sheffain min kulle daain wa-suqmin

from all fears and be a cure for all ills.

اَللّٰہُمَّ طَہِّرْنِیْ وَ طَہِّرْ لِیْ قَلْبِیْ وَ اشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْ

Allahumma tahhirnii watahir li qalbii wa shrahlii sadrii

O Allah! Purify me and my heart, broaden my chest

وَ اَجْرِ عَلٰی لِسَانِیْ مَحَبَّتَکَ وَ مِدْحَتَکَ

waajri alaa lisaanii mahabbataka wa midhataka

and that my tongue may utter words of love, adoration

وَ الثَّنَآء عَلَیْکَ فَاِنَّہٗ لاَ قُوَّۃً لِیْ اِلاَّ بِکَ

wassanaaa alaika fainnahu laa quwwata lii illa bika

and praise for You as there is no strength for me but You

وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ اَنَّ قِوَامَ دِیْنِیْ التَّسْلِیْمُ لِاَمْرِکَ

waqad alimtu annaqiwaama diinii altasliimu laka amrek

and I know that my religion is submission to You

وَ الْاِتِّبَاعُ لِسُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّکَ صَلَوَاتُکَ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

walittibaau lisunnati nabiyyika salawaatuka alaihi waalihi.

and following the practices of Your prophet, may Your peace be on him.

When wearing the two unstiched clothes of Ehram(Men) recite this dua :

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ رَزَقَنِیْ مَا اُوَارِیْ بِہٖ عَوْرَتِیْ

Al-hamdulillahi-lazi razaqani ma uwarii bihi awratii

All praise to Allah who has graced me with clothes to cover my body,

وَ اُؤَدِّیْ فِیْہِ فَرْضِیْ وَ اَعْبُدُ فِیْہِ رَبِّیْ

wauaddii fihi farzii wa-aabudu fihi rabii

perform my duties, worship my Sustainer

وَ اَنْتَہِیْ فِیْہِ اِلٰی مَا اَمَرَنِیْ

waanatahi fihi ilaa maa amaranii.

and reach where He has commanded me.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ قَصَدْتُہٗ فَبَلَّغَنِیْ

Alhamdulillahi lazii kasadtuhu fabaighnii

All praise be to Allah who, when I directed my course towards Him,

وَ اَرِدْتُہٗ فَاَعَانَنِیْ وَ قَبِلَنِیْ وَ لَمْ یَقْطَعْ بِیْ

waaradtu faa-ananii waqabilanii walam yakta bi

reached me; when I directed my intentions towards Him, assisted me, drew me closer and did not shatter me;

وَ وَجْہَہٗ اَرَدْتُ فَسَلَّمَنِیْ فَہُوَ حِصْنِیْ

wawajhahu aradtu fasallamanii fahuwa hisnii

when I sought His pleasure, granted me peace.

وَ کَہْفِیْ وَ حِرْزِیْ وَ ظَہْرِیْ وَ مَلاَذِیْ وَ رَجَآئِیْ

wakahfii wahirzii wazahrii wamalazii warajaii

He is my fort, refuge, protector, support, hope,

وَ مَنْجَایَ وَ ذُخْرِیْ وَ عُدَّتِیْ فِیْ شِدَّتِیْ وَ رَخَآئِیْ

wamanjaya wadhukri wauddatii fiishiddatii warakhaaii.

salvation, saviour and my provider in times of hardship and comfort.

4.At Meeqat Wear Ehram after any wajib salat or 6 /2 Rakat( sura ikhlass in first and Kaferoon in 2nd rakat) for Ehram
After Namaz Praise Allah (swt) and recite salwaat and recite this dua:

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْأَلُکَ اَنْ تَجْعَلَنِی مِمَّنْ اسْتَجَابَ لَکَ

Allahuma inni asaluka an tajalanii mimmani-stajaba laka

O Allah! Include me among those who have responded to Your call,

وَ آمَنَ بِوَعْدِکَ وَاتَّبَعَ اَمْرَکَ فَاِنِّیْ عَبْدُکَ

wa aamana biwaadika wattaba amraka fainni abduka

have faith in Your promise and follow Your command, for I am Your slave in Your confinement.

وَ فِی قَبْضَتِکَ لاَ اُوْقیٰ اِلاَّ مَا وَقَیْتَ

wafii qabzatika laa awqaa illa maa waqaita

I cannot be saved, except by You

وَ لاَ آخُذُ اِلاَّ مَا اَعْطَیْتَ وَ قَدْ ذَکَرْتَ الحَجَّ

walaa aakhudhu illa maa aataitaa waqad dhakarata-lhajja

and cannot take, except what you grant. You have reminded us of Hajj.

فَاَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تَعْزِمَ لِیْ عَلَیْہِ عَلیٰ کِتَابِکَ

faasaluka an tadhima lii alaihi alaa kitabika

I beseech you that You make me firm on Your book

وَ سُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّکَ صَلَوَاتُکَ عَلَہْہِ

wasunnati nabiyyika salawatuka alaihi

and the practices of Your Prophet (s.a.w.).

وَ آلِہٖ وَ تُقَوِّیَنِیْ عَلیٰ مَا ضَعُفْتُ عَنْہُ

waalihi watuqawwiyanii alaa maa zaufto anho

Grant me strength where I am weak

وَ تُسَلِّمَ مِنِّیْ مَنَاسِکِی فِیْ یُسْرٍ مِنْکَ

watusallima lii manasikii fii yusrin minka

and that I may perform what is incumbent on me with ease and health

وَ عَافِیَۃٍ وَاجْعَلْنِی مِنْ وَفْدِکَ الَّذِیْ رَضِیْتَ

waafiyatin wajalanii min wafdika-llazii razaita

include me among those whose arrival pleases You,

وَارْتَضَیْتَ وَ سَمَّیْتَ وَ کَتَبْتَ

wartazaita wasammaita wakataba.

You are pleased with, You call by name and have recorded.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ شُقَّۃٍ بَعِیْدَۃٍ وَ اَنْفَقْتُ

Allahumma inni kharajtu min shuqqatin baiidatin waanfaqtu

O Allah! I have traveled from far and have spent

مَالِیْ اِبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِکَ

maliya-btigaa marazaatik.

my property to attain Your pleasure.

اَللّٰہُمَّ فَتَمِّمْ لِیْ حَجَّتِیْ وَ عُمْرَتِیْ

Alahumma fatamim lii hajatii waumratii.

O Allah! Accomplish my hajj and Umrah.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اُرِیْدُ التَّمَتُّعَ بِالْعُمْرَۃِ اِلٰی الحَجِّ

allahumma inni uriidu lamattua bilumrati ila-ihajji

I intend to perform the Umrat-ut-Tamatu’ for Hajj.

عَلٰی کِتَابِکَ وَ سُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّکَ صَلَوَاتُکَ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

ala kitabika wasunnati nabiyyika salwatuka alaihi waalehi

in compliance with Your book and the practice of Your Prophet (s.a.w.),

فَاِنْ عَرَضَ لِی عَارِضٌ یَحْبِسُنِیْ فَحَلَّنِی حَیْثُ

fain araza lii aarizun yahbisunji fakhallinii haisu

If any impediment comes in my way, remove it by Your power.

حَبَسْتَنِی بِقَدَرِکَ الَّذِیْ قَدَّرْتَ عَلَیَّ

habastanii biqadarika-llazii qaddarta alaya.

english

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنْ لَمْ تَکُنْ حَجَّۃً فَعُمْرَۃً

allahumma inlam takun hajjatan faumratan

Allah! if I do not achieve the Hajj, I may at least the Umrah.

اُحْرِمُ لَکَ شَعْرِی وَ بَشَرِیْ وَ لَحْمِیْ وَ دَمِیْ

ahrama laka shari wabasharii walahmii wadamii

I forbid myself, for Your sake, my hair, body, flesh, blood,

وَ عِظَامِیْ وَ مُخِّیْ وَ عَصَبِیْ مِنَ النِسَآءِ

waidhaamii wamukhi waasabi minanisaai

bones, brain, my union with my wife,

وَ الْثِّیَابِ وَ الطِّیْبِ اَبْتَغِیْ بِذَلٰکَ

wassiyaabi wattibi abtaghii bidhalika

clothes and perfume

وَجْہَکَ وَ الدَّارَ الآخِرَۃِ

wajhaka waddaral aakhirat.

so that I may attain Your pleasure and the Hereafter.

If travelling from Madina, meeqat is at Masjid Shajara:
 Rasulullah (pbuh) did 2 Umras and 1 Hajj. He wore the Ihram from here.
 Imam Husayn (pbuh) wore Ihram from here.  Sayyida Fatima (pbuh) performed one Hajj and wore Ihram from Masjid Shajara.
 Imam Mahdi (AF) wears his Ihram from Masjid Shajara.
 The Prophet (pbuh) was on his way to Me’raj when Buraq stopped at the place where Masjid-e-Shajara now stands. A voice called out “O Muhammad”. The Prophet (pbuh) replied: Labbayk (I am here) - thus the origination of talbiyya.
5.After this make niyyat of Ehram( Mustahab to recite aloud – I wear Ihram for Umra Mufrada’( or Tamatto if Hajj) Qurbatan ilallah)and then

say Talabiya

in the following manner:

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّھُ مَّ لَبَّيْك، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْك، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَ النِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَ الْمُلْكُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَك لَبَّیْکَ

labbaik allahuma labbaik labbak la sharika laka labbaik innal hamda wanneemata laka walmuka la sharika laka labbaik

Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, there is no partner to You, here I am. Indeed the praises and bounties belong to You, Yours is the sovereignty, there is no partner to You here I am.

Mustahab to recite 70 times until you reach Haram boundary in Mecca and then stop reciting. Mustahab to add to Talbiya :

لَبَّیْکَ ذَ الْمَعَارِجِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik zalmarriji labbaik.

I am present, O High, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ دَاعِیًا اِلٰی دَارِ السَّلاَمِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik daaiyan illa darissalaam labbaik.

I am present, O one who calls towards Heaven, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ غَفَّارَ الذُّنُوْبِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik ghaffar-dahunubi labbaik.

I am present, O Forgiver of sins, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ اَہْلَ التَّلْبِیَۃِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik ahlataalbiyati labbaik.

I am present, O One who owns my presence, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَ الْاِکْرَامِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik dhaljalali walikrami labbaik.

I am present, O Mighty and Generous, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ تُبْدِءُ وَ الْمُعَادُ اِلَیْکَ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik tubdii walmaadu ilaika labbik.

I am present, O You who first created and to whom all will return, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ تَسْتَغْنِیْ وَ یُفْتَقَرُ اِلَیْکَ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik tastagnii wayftagaryu ilaika labbaik.

I am present, O One who is free from want and to whom all turn for their needs, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ مَرْہُوْبًا وَ مَرْغُوْبًا اِلَیْکَ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik wamarhuban wamarghuban ilaika labbaik

I am present, O who is feared and to whom there is inclination, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ اِلٰہَ الْحَقِّ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik illhal-haqqi labbaik.

I am present, O true God, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ ذَا النَّعْمَآءِ وَ الْفَضْلِ الْحَسَنِ الْجَمِیْلِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik dhannamaai walfazlil hassaniljamiili labbaik.

I am present, O the One with Grace, Excellence, Goodness and Beauty, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ کَشَّافَ الْکُرَبِ الْعِظَامِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik kasshafzal kurbil izzamil labbaik.

I am present, O one who averts major calamities, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ عَبْدُکَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدَیْکَ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik abduka wabnu abdaika labbaik.

I am present, Your servant and the son of Your servant, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ یَا کَرِیْمُ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik ya karimu labbaik.

I am present, O Generous, I am present.

Better to add these lines :

لَبَّیْکَ اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَیْکَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik ataqarrabu ilaika bi Muhammadin waali Muhammadin labbaik.

I am present, seeking closeness to You through Muhammad and his progeny, I am present.

لَبَّیْکَ بِحَجَّۃٍ وَ عُمْرَۃٍ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik bihajjalin awumratin labbaik.

وَ ہٰذِہِ عُمْرَۃُ مُتْعَۃٍ اِلَی الْحَجِّ لَبَّیْکَ

wahadhihi umratu mutatin illa hajji labbaik.

eng

لَبَّیْکَ اَہْلَ التَّلْبِیَۃِ لَبَّیْکَ

Labbaik ahla-attalbiyati labbaik.

eng

لبَّیْکَ تَلْبِیَۃً تَمَامُہَا وَ بَلاَغُہَا عَلَیْکَ

Labbaik talbiyatin tamumuha wabalaaguha alaik.

eng

c. Entering Haram ,seeing Kaaba , Dua for entering the Haram (Haram does not refer to Masjid-ul Haram but begins at a distance of nearly 3 miles before the town of Mecca) :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّکَ قُلْتَ فِی کِتَابِکَ وَ قَوْلُکَ الحَقُّ

allahumma innaka qulta fii kitabika waqawlakal haqqu

O Allah; You have said in Your Book And You say only the truth :

وَ أَذِّنْ فِی النَّاسِ بِالحَجِّ یَأْتُوْکَ رِجَالاً

waadhinfinnasi bilhajji yaatuka rijaalan

“And proclaim among men the Pilgrimage

وَ عَلٰی کُلِّ ضَامِرٍ یَأْتِیْنَ مِنْ کُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِیْقٍ

waala kulli zaamiriin yaatiina min kulli fajjin amiiq.

They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, Coming from every Remote path.”

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَرْجُو اَنْ اَکُوْنَ مِمَّنْ اَجَابَ دَعْوَتَکَ

allahuma inni arjuu an akuunu minuman ajaaba daawataka

O Allah; I do wish That I would be One of those who Have responded to Your call…

وَقَدْ جِئْتُ مِنْ شُقَّۃٍ بَعِیدَۃٍ وَ فَجٍّ عَمِیقٍ

waqad jiitu min shuqqatin baiidatin wafajjin amiiqin

And I have come From a long Distance and a Remote path,

سَامِعًا لِنِدَائِکَ وَ مُسْتَجِیْبًا لَکَ مُطِیعًا لِاَمْرِکَ

saamian linidaaika wamustajiiban laka mutiian liamrika

Listening to your call and responding to you And obeying your order

وَ کُلُّ ذٰلِکَ بِفَضْلِکَ عَلیَّ وَ اِحْسَانِکَ

wakullu dhalika bifazlika alayya waihsaanika

All that is due to Your bestowal of Favor on me And Your nice conferral on me.

اِلیَّ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ عَلٰی مَا وَفَّقْتَنِی لَہٗ اَبْتَغِی

ilayyafalakal hamdu alla man waffaqtanii lahu abtaghill

So, all praise be to You for the success That You have Conferred upon me

بِذٰلِکَ الزُّلْفَۃَ عِنْدَکَ وَالقُرْبَۃَ اِلَیْکَ

bidhalika-zulfata indaka walqurbata ilaika

Seeking closeness to You and nearness

وَالمَنْزِلَۃَ لَدَیْکَ وَ الْمَغْفِرَۃَ لِذُنُوْبِی

walmanzilata ladaika walmaghfirata lidhunubii

and A high standing with You And forgiveness of My sins

وَ الْتَّوبَۃَ عَلَیَّ مِنْہَا بِمَنِّکَ

wattawbatw alayya mibha bimannika.

And acceptance of My repentance, Out of Your favour.

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli alaa muhammadin waali muhammad

O Allah; (please) Bless Muhammad and the Household Of Muhammad

وَ حَرِّمْ بَدَنِی عَلَی النَّارِ وَآمِنِّی مِنْ عَذَابِکَ

waharrim badanii ala-nnari waaminii min adhabika

And forbid Hellfire From consuming my body And secure me From Your chastisement and Punishment,

وَ عِقَابِکَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الَّراحِمِیْنَ

waiqabika berahmatika yaa arhamarrahimin

In the name of Your mercy, O Most Merciful of All those who show mercy.

Another dua

O Allah! I beseech You in this holy place and in the first of my ceremonies to accept my repentance, forgive my sins and relieve me of the load on my back. All praise be to Allah who helped me reach the Holy House. O Allah! I bear witness to You that this is Your Holy House which You have made a refuge for men, a blessed place and a guide for the worlds. O Allah! I am Your servant, this city is Your city and this House is Your House. I have come here to seek Your mercy and submit to You, following Your command and content with Your arrangement of destiny. I ask as a beggar fearful of Your punishment. O Allah! Open for me the gates of Your mercy and keep me occupied in obedience to You and seeking Your pleasure

Supplication of entering the holy precinct (Masjidul Haram) It is recommended to enter the Holy Mosque from the door called Bãb Bani-Shaybah. At the first sight at the Holy Ka bah, it is recommended to say the following:

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ اَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ وَ رَحْمَۃُ اللّٰہِ وَ بَرَکَاتُہٗ

Assalamu alika ayyuha-nabiyu warhmatullahi wabarakatuhu

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَ بِاللّٰہِ وَ مِنَ اللّٰہِ وَ مَا شَآءَ اللّٰہُ

bismillahi wabillahi wa menallahe wamaashaalahu

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلٰی اَنْبِیَآءِ اللّٰہِ وَ رُسُلِہٖ

assalamu alla anbiyaaillahi warusulihi

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلٰی رَسُوْلِ اللّٰہِ

asaalamu alaa rasulilahi

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلٰی اِبْرَاہِیْمَ خَلِیْلِ اللّٰہِ

assalam alaa ebrahima khalili-llahi

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ

assalam alaa ebrahima khalili-llahi

Then say :

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَ بِاللّٰہِ وَ مِنَ اللّٰہِ وَ اِلَی اللّٰہِ وَ مَا شَآءَ اللّٰہُ

bismillahi wabillahi waminallhi waillallhi wamashaalahu

commence by the Name of Allah, by Him, from Him, towards Him, by His wish

وَ عَلٰی مِلَّۃِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

waalaa millati rasulillahi sailallahu alaihi waalihi

and on the following of the Holy Messenger (s.a.w.)

وَ خَیْرُ الْاَسْمَآءِ لِلہِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ

wakhairul-asmaillahi walhamdullilahi.

The Holy Names belong to Allah. All praise is to Allah.

وَ السَّلاَمُ عَلٰی رَسُوْلِ اللهِ

wassalamu alaa rasulillahe.

Peace be with the Messenger of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

assalamu alaa muhammad ibn-abdillahi.

Peace be with Muhammad, son of Abdullah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ اَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ وَ رَحْمَۃُ اللهِ وَ بَرَکَاتُہٗ

assalamu alaika ayyuhannabiyyu warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu.

Peace be with you, O Prophet of Allah and may the mercy and blessings of Allah be with you.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلٰی اَنْبِیَآءِ اللهِ وَ رُسُلِہٖ

assalamu ala anbiyyae'llahe wa rosolehi

Peace be with the Prophets of Allah and His Messengers.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلٰی خَلِیْلِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ

assalamu ala khalililahe-rrahmani.

Peace be with Ibrahim, the friend of the Merciful.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَی الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ

assalamu alal-muraliin walhamdulillahi rabilaalaamin.

Peace be with the Prophets. All praise is to Allah, the Sustainer of the universes.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْنَا وَ عَلٰی عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِیْنَ

assalamu alaina waalaa ibadillhi-ssalihin.

Peace be with us and on the virtuous servants of Allah.

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahuma salli-alaa Muhammadin wa aale Muhammadin

O Allah! Send Your blessings on Muhammad and his progeny,

وَ بَارِکْ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wabarik alaa Muhammadin waali Muhammad.

bestow on them Your benediction

وَ ارْحَمْ مُحَمَّدًا وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

warham Muhammadin waali Muhammad

bestow on them Your benediction

کَمَا صَلَّیْتَ وَ بَارَکْتَ وَ تَرَحَّمْتَ

kama sallaita wabarakta watarahamta

as Your blessed, sent benediction and had mercy

عَلٰی اِبْرَاہِیْمَ وَ آلِ اِبْرَاہِیْمَ اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ

alla Ebrahima waali Ebrahima innaka hamidul-majid

on Ebrahim and his progeny, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahuma salli ala Muhammadin waali Mahammadin

O Allah! Bless Muhammad and his progeny,

عَبْدِکَ وَ رَسُوْلِکَ

abdika warasulika.

Your servant and Messenger.

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی اِبْرَاہِیْمَ خَلِیْلِکَ

allahumma salli ala Ebrahima khaalilika

O Allah! Bless Ibrahim, Your friend

وَ عَلٰی اَنْبِیَآءِکَ وَ رُسُلِکَ

waalaa anbiyaika warusulika

and Your Prophets and Messengers

وَ سَلِّمْ عَلَیْہِمْ وَ سَلاَمٌ عَلَی الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ

wassalim alaihim wasalamum alal mursalin

and bestow peace on them. Peace be with the Messengers.

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ

walhamdulillahi rabbil – aalamin.

All praise is to Allah, the Sustainer of the universes.

اَللّٰہُمَّ افْتَحْ لِیْ اَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِکَ وَ اسْتَعْمِلْنِیْ فِیْ طَاعَتِکَ

allahummaftahli abwaaba rahmatika wastaamilnii fii tatika

O Allah! Open for me the gates of Your mercy. Keep me occupied in Your obedience

وَ مَرْضَاتِکَ وَ احْفَظْنِیْ بِحِفْظِ الْاِیْمَانِ

wamar-zaatika wahfaznii bifzil liman

and seeking Your pleasure. Protect me that I guard my faith

اَبَدًا مَّا اَبْقَیْتَنِیْ جَلَّ ثَنَآءُ وَجْہِکَ

abadan maa abqaitanii jalla sanaauwajhika

to my last, Exalted is Your Praise

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَنِیْ مِنْ وَفْدِہٖ وَ زُوَّارِہٖ

alhamdulillahi-llazii jaalanii min wafdihi wazuwaarihi

All praise to Allah who made me one of His callers and visitors,

وَ جَعَلَنِیْ مِمَّنْ یَّعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَہٗ

wajaa-lani mimman yaamuru masajidahu

attendants in His Mosque

وَ جَعَلَنِیْ مِمَّنْ یُنَاجِیْہِ

wajaalanii mimman yunajiihi.

and made me among those who supplicate with him

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ عَبْدُکَ وَ زَآئِرُکَ فِیْ بَیْتِکَ

allahumma inni abduka wazairuka fii baitika

O Allah! I am Your servant and visitor to Your House.

وَ عَلٰی کُلِّ مَاْتِیٍّ حَقٌّ لِمَنْ اٰتٰیہُ وَ زَارَہٗ

waallaa kulli maatiyyin haqqun liman ataahu wazarrahu

There are rights of callers over the host

وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ مَاْتِیٍّ وَ اَکْرَمُ مَزُوْرٍ

waanta khairu maatiyyin waakramu mazurin

and You are the best of the givers and the most Generous.

فَاَسْئَلُکَ یَا اَللّٰہُ یَا رَحْمٰنُ

faasaluka ya Allah ya Rahman

I beseech You, O Allah! O Merciful,

بِاَنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اَنْتَ وَحْدَکَ لاَ شَرِیْکَ لَکَ

biannaka anta-llahu lailaha illa anta wahdaka laa sharika laka

You are Allah, there is no God but You, You have no partner,

بِاَنَّکَ وَاحِدٌ اَحَدٌ صَمَدٌ لَمْ تَلِدْ وَ لَمْ تُوْلَدْ

wabiannaka waahidun ahadun samadun lam yalid walam tulad

for You are One and on whom all depend. You were not born and do not give birth

وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَہٗ کُفُوًا اَحَدٌ

walam yakullahu kufuwan ahad

and there is none like You.

وَ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُکَ وَ رَسُوْلُکَ

waana muhammadan abduka warasuluka

Verily, Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger,

صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَ عَلٰی اَہْلِ بَیْتِہٖ

sallallahu alihi waalaa ahlibaitihii

may Your blessings be on him and his Household.

یَا جَوَادُ یَا کَرِیْمُ یَا مَاجِدُ یَا جَبَّارُ یَا کَرِیْمُ

ya jawadu yaa karimu ya majidu ya jabbaru ya kaimu

O Magnanimous, O Generous, O Glorious, O Mighty, O Generous,

اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تَجْعَلَ تُحْفَتَکَ اِیَّایَ

asaluka antajaala tuhfataka iyyaya

I beseech You that of the gifts You grant me

بِزِیَارَتِیْ اِیَّاکَ اَوَّلَ شَیْءٍ تُعْطِیْنِیْ

biziyaratii iyyaka awwala shaiin tuutimii

for visiting You, the first be

فَکَاکَ رَقَبَتِیْ مِنَ النَّارِ

fakaka rakabatii minannari.

the protection from the fire of Hell

One must then pray for the Holy Prophet and his progeny and for all the Prophets as was done at the time of entry into the Holy Mosque & say 3 times

اَللّٰہُمَّ فُکَّ رَقَبَتِیْ مِنَ النَّارِ.

allahumma fukka rakabatil minnanar.

O Allah! Save my neck from the fire of Hell

And then recite this 3 times :

وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَیَّ مِنْ رِزْقِکَ الْحَلاَلِ الطَّیِّبِ

alahumma waawsia alayya minrizqikal halalittayyibi

And increase my lawful and pure sustenance

وَ ادْرَءْ عَنِّیْ شَرَّ شَیَاطِیْنِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ

wadra annii sharra shayatiinil insi

and protect me from the evil of the devils, jinn and men

وَ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ

waljinni washarra fasaqatil arabi walajami

and the godless of the Arabs and the non-Arabs

Now enter the mosque and say as follows :

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ وَ عَلٰي مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ

Bismillahi wabillahi waalaa millati resulillahi

I commence by the Name of Allah and on the following of the Holy Messenger

صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهٖ

sallallahu alaihi waalihi.

peace be upon him and his progeny.

Then face Kaaba and raise both the hands and recite the following :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ فِیْ مَقَامِیْ ہٰذَا

allahuma inii asaluka fii maqamii hazaa

eng

وَ فِی اَوَّلِ مَنَاسِکِیْ اَنْ تَقْبَلَ تَوْبَتِیْ

wafii awwali manasikii an taqbala tawbatill

وَ اَنْ تَتَجَاوَزَ عَنْ خَطِیْٓئَتِیْ وَ اَنْ تَضَعَ عَنِّیْ وِزْرِیْ

waan tajawaz an kahatiatii waan tazaa anii wizriil

eng

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ بَلَّغَنِیْ بَیْتَہُ الْحَرَامَ

hamdulillahil-lazii ballaghanii baitahul harama.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَشْہَدُ اَنَّ ہٰذَا بَیْتُکَ الْحَرَامُ الَّذِیْ

allahumma inni ushhiduka anna haze baituka haram-ul-lazii

eng

جَعَلْتَہٗ مَثَابَۃً لِلنَّاسِ وَ اَمْنًا مُبَارَکًا

jaltaahu masabatan linnasi waamnan mubarakan

eng

وَ ہُدًی لِلْعَالَمِیْنَ

wahudanlilaalamin.

eng

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ عَبْدُکَ وَ الْبَلَدَ بَلَدُکَ

allahumma inni abduka walbaladu baladuka

eng

وَ الْبَیْتَ بَیْتُکَ جِئْتُ اَطْلُبُ رَحْمَتَکَ

wal-baitu baituka jiatu atlubu rahmataka

وَ اَؤُمُّ طَاعَتَکَ مُطِیْعًا لِاَمْرِکَ رَاضِیًا بِقَدَرِکَ

waaummu taataka mutiian liamrika raziyan biqadrika

eng

اَسْئَلُکَ مَسْاَلَۃَ الْفَقِیْرِ اِلَیْکَ الْخَآئِفِ لِعُقُوْبَتِک

asaluka masalatal faqiri ilaikal khaifi liuqubatika.

eng

َ اَللّٰہُمَّ افْتَحْ لِیْ اَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِکَ

allahummaftah lii abwaba rahmatika

eng

وَ اسْتَعْمِلْنِیْ بِطَاعَتِکَ وَ مَرْضَاتِکَ

wastaamilnii bitaatika wamazatika

eng

Then address the Kaaba and say this :

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ عَظَّمَکِ وَ شَرَّفَکِ وَ کَرَّمَکِ

allamdulillahil-lazil azzamaki washarrafaki wakarramaki

eng

وَ جَعَلَکِ مَثَابَۃً لِلنَّاسِ

wajaalaki masabatan linnasi

eng

وَ اَمْنًا مُبَارَکًا وَ ہُدًی لِلْعَالَمِیْنَ

waamnan mubarakan wahudal lillaamin.

Each of the corners and sides of the Holy Ka 'bah has Some recommended acts :
The Corner of the Black Stone.( Hajr Aswad) See next Tab-->
Shaykh al- Kulayni, al-Kafi 4:403., the Holy Prophet is reported from Imam al-Sädiq (a). to have said, "Embrace the corner in which there is the Black Stone, because it is (like) the right hand of Almighty Allah with which He shakes hands with His creatures. This corner will testify fulfillment to those who touch it." See Shaykh al-Sadkq, Man-lã-Yahduruhul-Faqih 2:135.

The Corner Facing Iraq (al-Rukn al- Iraqi) Opposite to Iraq, this is another blessed corner of the Holy Ka bah.
The Corner Facing the Sham (al-Rukn al-Shami)
Opposite to the Sham (currently Syrian, Lebanon, and Palestine), this is another blessed corner of the Holy Ka "bah.
The Corner Facing the Yemen (al-Rukn al-Yemeni)
Situated before the corner of the Black Stone, many traditions have conveyed the merits of this blessed Corner of the Holy Ka 'bah. This is the place of entrance of Fatima Binul Asad(sa) ,the mother of Imam Ali(as) for his birth. 22) The Holy Prophet is reported to have said, "Every time I went to the al-Rukn al-Yamıni, I would find Archangel Gabriel preceding me to that place and embracing it." (al-Kıf+ 4:408) Imam al-sıdiq is reported to have said, "The al-Rukn al-Yamıni is our door from which we shall enter Paradise." (al-Kafi 4:409) He, peace be upon him, is also reported to have said, "From the time when Almighty Allah created the heavens and the layc of the earth, there was an angel in charge of the al-Rukn al-yamani whose mission is nothing other than intermediating with AImighty Allah for responding your prayers, Hence, you must Pay attention to what you say in your prayers therein

اَللَّهُمَّ نَوِّرْ بِالْعِلْمِ قَلْبِي وَأ.اَسْتَعْمِلْ بِطَاعَتِكَ بَدَنِي وَخَلَّصْنِي مِنَ الفِتَنِ وَأَشْغِلْ بِالإِعْتِبَارِ فِكْرِي وَقِنِي شَرَّ وَسَاوِسِ اَلشَّيْطَانِ وَاَجِرْنِي مِنْهُ یَا رَحْمَنُ بِالصَّالِحَاتِ اَعْمَالَنَا اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّي أَوْدَعْتُ نَفْسِي فِي هَذَا المَحَلِّ الشَّرِيْفِ اِلىَ يَوْمِ الْقَيَامَةِ خَالِصاً مُخْلِصاً اَشْهَدُ اَن لاَ اِلَهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ.

Al-Hathim
The area between the Black Stone, al-Hatim thaet which it is required to repent, seek Almighty Allah's forgiveness, and pray. It has been given this name, which literally means destroyer, because at this place, great sins are destroyed. Some traditions have declare that Almighty Allah accepted the repentance of Propne Adam at this place.

Al-Shadharwan
Shãdharwın is the remaining amount of the foundation of the Holy Ka 'bah's basic wall, In circumambulation it is required to be out of this place. Drain of Mercy (Mizab al-Rahmah) This drain is situated above Hijr Ismail

Al-Mustajır
Also called al-Multazam and al-Muta 'awwadh, this place is situated before the al-Rukn al-Yamıni and directly behind the gate of the Holy Ka "bah. It is the place wherefrom Lady Fätimah bint Asad entered the Holy Ka bah and gave birth of Imam Ali.
Many traditions have conveyed the merits of this place. you should confess to Almighty Allah of sins that you can recollect. As for sin that you may have forgotten, you should express them by 'forgive all our sins, including these, which Your angels recorded, but we have now forgotten
Verily whoever confesses of his sins at that place and mention them and prays Almighty Allah to forgive them, then it will be incumbent upon Almighty Allah to forgive them, Another tradition has recounted that when Prophet Adam circumambulated the Holy House and reached at al-Multazam, Archangel Gabriel taught him to confess of his sins at that place. Therefore, Prophet Adam asked Almighty Allah whether his descendants would enjoy this merit (of having their sins forgiven if they confess of them at this place). Almighty Allah answered, "I will forgive the sins of any of your descendants who comes to this place, repents to Me in the same way as you did, and prays Me to forgive him."
It has been reported from Abi Adillah (a.s.) that when the pilgrim completes the tawaf and reaches the ‘Mustajaar’ which is a little before the Rukn-ul-Yamaani, he must stretch his hands onto the Holy Ka’ba, cling to it and say:
(O Allah! this House is Yours and this creature is Yours and this is the place for taking refuge in You from the fire of Hell).

The Curtain of the Holy Ka bah:
It is recommended to hang to the curtains of the Holy Ka 'bah, because this deed contribute to forgiveness of sins. It is also recommended to say the aforementioned supplication at that situation.
Prophet Abraham's Standing-place (Maqam Ibrahim) It is recommended to say the following supplication at this holy place, which has been mentioned in the Holy quran

It is also recommended to prostrate oneself at that place and say the following supplication

Supplication at ‘Maqaam-e-Jibraeel (a.s.)’
This supplication is attributed to Imam Reza (a.s.) which is to be recited after performing two unit of salaat at ‘Maqaam-e-Jibraeel (a.s.)’:

يَا جَوَادُ يَا كَرِيْمُ يَا قَرِيْبُ غَيْرُ بَعِيْدٍ اَسْاَلُكَ بِاَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ اَنْ تَعْصِمَنِيْ مِنَ الْمَهَالِكِ وَ اَنْ تُسَلِّمَنِيْ مِنْ اٰفَاتِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَ وَعْثَآءِ السَّفَرِ وَ سُوْءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ وَ اَنْ تَرُدَّنِيْ سَالِمًا اِلٰى وَطَنِيْ بَعْدَ حَـجٍّ مَقْبُوْلٍ وَ سَعْيٍ مَشْكُوْرٍ وَ عَمَلٍ مُتَقَبَّلٍ وَ لَا تَـجْعَلْهُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّيْ مِنْ حَرَمِكَ وَ حَرَمِ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَ اٰلِہٖ

yaa jawaado yaa kareemo yaa qareebo ghayro ba-e’edin as-aloka be-annaka antal laaho laysa kamisleka shay-un an ta’semanee menal mahaaleke wa an tosallemanee min aafaatid dunya wal aakherate wa wa’saaa-is safare wa soo-il munqalabe wa an taruddanee saaleman elaa watanee ba’da hajjin maqboolin wa sa’yin maskoorin wa a’malin motaqabbalin wa laa taj-a’lho aakheral a’hde minnee min harameka wa harame nabiyyeka sallal laaho a’layhe wa aalehi.

O All-magnanimous! O All-generous! O He Who is always nigh and is never remote! I beseech You in the name of Your being Allah; nothing is like unto You, that You save me from disasters, and that You keep me protected from the calamities of the world and the hereafter, and inconvenience of the journey, and the terrible return, and take me back safely to my homeland after accepted Hajj, and praiseworthy efforts, and accepted actions, and do not decide this visit to be the last of my visit to Your Holy Precinct and the Holy Precinct of Your Prophet, blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny.

Recite 2 Rakat Salat at each of the 4 corners

and say this

اَللّٰهُمَّ مَنْ تَهَیَّاَ وَ تَعَبَّاَ وَ اَعَدَّ وَ اسْتَعَدَّ لِوِفَادَۃٍ اِلٰی مَخْلُوْقٍ رَجَآئَ رِفْدِهٖ وَ جَائِزَتِهٖ وَ نَوَافِلِهٖ وَ فَوَاضِلِهٖ فَاِلَیْكَ یَا سَیِّدِیْ تَهْیِئَتِیْ وَ تَعْبِئَتِیْ وَ اِعْدَادِیْ وَ اسْتِعْدَادِیْ رَجَآئَ رِفْدِكَ وَ نَوَافِلِكَ وَ جَآئِزَتِكَ فَلَا تُخَیِّبِ الْیَوْمَ رَجَآئِیْ یَا مَنْ لَا یَخِیْبُ عَلَیْهِ سَائِلٌ وَ لَا تَنْقُصُهٗ نَائِلٌ فَاِنِّیْ لَمْ آتِكَ الْیَوْمَ بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَدَّمْتُهٗ وَ لَا شَفَاعَۃِ مَخْلُوْقٍ رَجَوْتُهٗ وَ لٰكِنْ اَتَیْتُكَ مُقِرًّا بِاظُّلْمِ وَ الْاِسَائَۃِ عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ فَاِنَّهٗ لَا حُجَّۃَ لِیْ وَ لَا عُذْرَ فَاَسْئَلُكَ یَا مَنْ هُوَكَذَالِكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَنْ تُعْطِیَنِیْ مَسْاَلَتِیْ وَ تُقِیْلَنِیْ عَثْرَتِیْ وَ تَقْلِبَنِیْ بِرَغْبَتِیْ وَ لَا تَرُدَّنِیْ مَجْبُوْهًا مَمْنُوْعًا وَ لَا خَآئِبًا یَا عَظِیْمُ یَا عَظِیْمُ یَا عَظِیْمُ اَرْجُوْكَ لِلْعَظِیْمِ اَسْئَلُكَ یَا عَظِیْمُ اَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِیَ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِیْمَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔

Allhumma Man Tahya wa taaba ... untilazima la ilaha ant

Recite the folling at Mount Abu Qubays which is situated where the goverment building now stands

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلىَ نَبِيٍّ هَلَّلَ وَ كَبَّرَ وَحَجَّ وَأعْتَمَرَ وَأنْشَقَّ لَهُ ألْقَمَرُ وَبِدِيْنِ اللهِ أمَرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَىَ عِنِ الْفَحْشَآءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ، اَللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أوْدَعْتُ فِي هَذَا الْمَحَلِّ الشَرِيْفِ مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذَا اِلىَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ خَالِصاً مُخْلِصاً أشْهَدُ اَنْ لاَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ.

Recite at Jabal Qubais that is inside Mecca

اَللَّهُمَ اِنِّي اَسْأَلُكَ إِيْمَاناً كَامِلاً تُبَاشِرُ بِهِ قَلْبِي وَيَقِيْناً صَادِقاً حَتَّىَ أ.اَعْلَمَ اَنَّهُ لَنْ يُصِيبَنِي اِلاَّ مَا كَتَبْتَ لِي اِنَّ وَلِّيَ اَللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّى اَوْدَعْتُ فِي هَذَا الْمَحَلِّ الشًّرِيْفِ مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذَا اِلىَ يَوْمٍ الْقِيَامَةِ خَالِصاً مُخْلِصاً اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ لَا اِلَهَ اِلَّا اَللهُ وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ.

اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ وَابْنَ نَبِيِّهِ
اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ اللهِ وَابْنَ صَفِيِّهِ
اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ أَنْبَعَ اللهُ لَهُ بِئْرَ زَمْزَمَ
حِينَ أَسْكَنَهُ أَبُوهُ بِوَادٍ غََيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِنْدَ بَيْتِ اللهِ الْمُحَرَّمِ
وَاسْتَجَابَ اللهُ فِيهِ دَعْوَةَ أَبِيْهِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ حِينَ قَلَ رَبَّنَا إنِّي أَسْكَنَتُ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِنْدَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئدَةً مِنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُمْ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُنَ
اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ سَلَّمَ نَفْسَهُ لِلذَّبْحِ طَاعَةً لأَمْرِ اللهِ تَعَالَى إذْ قَالَ لَهُ أَبُوهُ يَا بُنَيَّ إنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى
قَلَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُوْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَاللهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِيْنَ فَدَفَعَ اللهُ عَنْهُ الذَّبْحَ وَفَدَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيْمٍ
اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ أَعَانَ أَبَاهُ عَلَى بِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ كَمَا قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى
وَإذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنْ ااْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيْلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ مَدَحَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي كِتَابِهِ بِقَوْلِهِ وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ اِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولاً نَبِيَّاً وَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلاَةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ وَكَانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيّاً
اَسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ جَعَلَ اللهُ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ مُحَمَّداً سَيِّدَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَخَاتِمَ النَّبِيَّينَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أبيك إبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيْلِ اللهِ وَعَلَى أخِيكَ إسْحَاقَ نَبِيِ اللهِ
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى جَمِيعِ أَنْبِيَاءِ اللهِ الْمَدْفُونِينَ بِهَذِهِ الْبُقْعَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ الْمُعَظَّمَةِ
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أُمِّكَ الطَّاهِرَةِ الصَّابِرَةِ هَاجَرَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ حَشََرَنَا اللهُ فٍي زُمْرَتِكُمْ تَحْتَ لِوَاءِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمْ وَلاَ جَعلَهُ اللهُ آخِر الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِكُمْ
وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

alssalımu alı sayyidinıa isma ila dhabhi allıhi ibni ibrähima khalili allıhi alssalımu alayka yı nabiyya allıhi wabna nabiyyih+ alssalımu alayka yı _afiyya allıhi wabna _afiyyih+ alssalımu 'alayka yı man anba 'a allıhu lahk bi'ra zamzama hina askanahk abkhu biwıdin ghayri dhi zar 'in inda bayti allıhi almuharrami wastajıba allıhu fihi da wata abihi ibrıhima hina qãla rabbanı inna askantu min dhurriyyati biwãdin ghayri dhi zar in inda baytika almuharrami rabbanı liyuqimu alalıta faj 'al af'idatan min alnnısi tahwi ilayhim warzuqhum min alththamarıti la 'allahum yashkurkna alssalımnu alayka yı man sallama nafsahk lildhdhabhi tı 'atan li'amri allıhi ta 'ıla+ idh qãla lahü abkhu yı bunayya inn+ arı fi almanımi ann+ adhbahuka fanzur mıdhı tarã qãla yä abati if 'al mı tu'maru satajiduna in shäa allahu min alıbirina fadafa a allıhu anhu aldhdhabha wa fadıhu bidhibhin az+min alssalımu alayka yı man a 'ına abıhu alı binı'i alka 'bati kamã qıla allıhu ta 'alı wa idh yarfa 'u ibrıhimu alqawa ida min albayti wa ismı ilu rabbanı taqabbal minnı innaka anta alssami 'u al alimu madahahk allıhu alssalımu alayka yı man ta alı fi kitıbihi biqawlihi wadhkur fi alkitıbi ismı ila innahü kına _ıdiqa alwa 'di wa kına rasklan nabiyyaan wa kına ya'muru ahlahü bil__alıti walzzakıti wa kına inda rabbihi mardiyyan alssalımu alayka yı man ja ala allıhu min dhurriyyatih+ muhammadan sayyida almursal+na wa khıtima alnnabiyy+na _allã allıhu alayhi wa ılih+ wa sallama alssalımu 'alayka wa alã abika ibrıhima khalili allıhi si ishãqa nabiyyi wa alã akhika allıhi alssalımu alayka wa 'alı jami 'i anbiyıi allıhi almadfknina bihıdhihi albuq 'ati almubärakati almu azzamati alssalımu alayka wa 'alı ummika alttıhirati al__ıbirati hıjara wa rahmatu allıhi wva barakıtuhk fi zumratikum hasharanı allıhu tahta liwäi muhammadin _allã allıhu alayhi wa ılihi wa sallama wa lã ja 'alahü allähu ıkhira al 'ahdi min ziyıratikum walssalımu alaykum wa rahmatu allıhi wa barakıtuhk

Peace be upon our master, Ishmael, the slain for Allah, and son of Abraham, the Friend of Allah. Peace be upon you; O Allah's prophet and son of Allah's prophet. Peace be upon you; O Allah's elite and so of Allah's elite. Peace be upon you; O he for whom Allah made Zamzam Well pour out, after his father had settled him in valley unproductive of fruit, near Allah's Sacred House, and for whom Allah responded to the prayer of his father, Abraham, who said, "O our Lord! Surely, I have settled a part of my offspring in a valley unproductive of fruit near Your Sacred House, our Lord, that they may keep up prayer; therefore make the hearts of some people yearn towards them and provide themn with fruits; haply they may be grateful.
Peace be upon you; O he who submitted himself for slaying, in compliance with the order of Allah, the Exalted, when his father said to him, "O myy dear son! Surely, I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the shäa patient ones." So, Allah spared him from being slain, and ransomed him with a feat sacrifice. Peace be upon you; O he who helped his father construct the Ka bah, as Allah, the Exalted, has said: "And when Abraham and Ishmael raised the foundations of the House:
Our Lord! Accept from us; surely You are the Hearing, the Knowing." Peace be upon you; O he whom Allah, the Exalted, praised in His Book, saying, "And mention Ishmael in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was a messenger, a prophet. And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased."
Peace be upon you; O he in whose offspring, Allah put Muhammad, the Master of Messengers, and the Seal of Prophets, blessings of Allah be upon him and his Household. Peace be upon you and upon your fat her, Abraham, the Friend of Allah, and upon your brother, Isaac, the prophet of Allah. Peace be upon you and upon all of Allah's prophets who were buried in this blessed and honored area. Peace be upon you and upon your mother, the pure and steadfast, namely Hagar. Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
May Allah include us with your group under the pennon of Muhammad, Allah's peace and blessings be upon him and his Household. May Allah not decide this visit to be the last of my visit you Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you..
recommended to offer a two-unit salat

Hajr Aswad It is recommended then to face the Black Stone and say :

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَریکَ لَهُ

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, He is One and has no partner

وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ

and the Muhammad is his servant and Messenger.

آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَ کَفَرْتُ بِالْجِبْتِ وَ الطّاغُوتِ

I believe in Allah and disbelieve in false gods,

وَ اللاّتِ وَ الْعُزّى وَ بِعِبادَةِ الشَّیْطانِ

Laat, Uzza and the worship of devils

وَ بِعِبادِةِ کُلِّ نِدٍّ یُدْعى مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ

and all those who call for worship other than Allah.

And when one sees the Hajar-e-Aswad one should say as follows :

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ ہَدَانَا لِہٰذَا

alhamdullilahi-lazii hadana lihazaa

All praise to Allah who has provided us this guidance,

وَ مَا کُنَّا لِنَہْتَدِیَ لَوْلاَ اَنْ ہَدَانَا اللّٰہُ

wama kunna linahtadiya lawlaa an hadaanallahu

for we would not otherwise have been guided.

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰہِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَ

subhanallahi walhamdulillahi

Glory to Allah, all praise is due to Him,

لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اللّٰہُ وَ اللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِہٖ

walaailaha illalahu wallahu akber allahu akberu min khaqihi

there is no God except Allah and Allah is Great. Allah is greater than His creatures.

وَ اللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ مِمَّا اَخْشٰی وَ اَحْذَرُ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اللّٰہُ

wallahu akberu mimma akhshaa waahzaru laailaha illallahu

Allah is greater than whom I fear and beware. There is no God except Allah,

وَحْدَہٗ لاَ شَرِیْکَ لَہٗ لَہٗ الْمُلْکُ وَ لَہُ الْحَمْدُ

wahdahu laa sharikalahu lahul mulku walahul hamdu

He is One and without any partner. All land belong to Him and all praise is due to Him.

یُحْیِیْ وَ یُمِیْتُ وَ یُمِیْتُ وَ یُحْیِیْ وَ ہُوَ حَیٌّ لاَ یَمُوْتُ

yuhyii wayumitu wayumitu wayuhyii wahuwa hayyu laa yamutu

He grants life and ends it. He ends life and grants it. He is alive and never dies.

بِیَدِہِ الْخَیْرُ وَ ہُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْئٍ قَدِیْرٌ

biyadihil khairu wahuwa alaa kulli shaiin qadir.

All good emanates from Him and has power over all things.

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli alaa Muhammadin wa aale Muhammad

eng

وَ بَارِکْ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِہٖ

wa barik ala Muhammadin wa aalehi

eng

کَاَفْضَلِ مَا صَلَّیْتَ وَ بَارَکْتَ وَ تَرَحَّمْتَ

kaafzali ma sallaita wabarakta watarahamta

eng

عَلٰی اِبْرَاہِیْمَ وَ آلِ اِبْرَاہِیْمَ اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَجِیْدٌ

alla Ebrahima waali Ebrahima innaka hamidul-majid

eng

وَ سَلاَمٌ عَلٰی جَمِیْعِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ

wa salamun alaa jamiin-nabiyyina walmursalina

eng

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ

walhamdulillahi rabbil aalamin.

eng

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اُؤمِنُ بِوَعْدِکَ وَ اُصَدِّقُ رُسُلَکَ

allahumma innii uaminu biwaadika wausaddiqu rusulaka

eng

وَ اَتَّبِعُ کِتَابَکَ

wattabiu kitabika.

eng

After this, keeping the thought of Allah’s wrath in mind slowly proceed forward and on reaching Hajar-e Aswad raise both hands and praise Almighty Allah and recite salwaat on His Prophet Mohamed (S.A.W.) and his progeny and then recite the following
Allahumma taqabbal minii:,O Allah accept from me
If possible kiss Hajar-e-Aswad and if not, point at it and recite this: It has been authentically reported by Abi Abdillah (a.s.) that when you come close to the Black Stone, raise your hands, praise Allah, pray for the Holy Prophet and ask Allah to accept your acts of worship. Then hold the Black Stone and kiss it. If it is not possible to kiss it, just hold it by hand, and if even doing so is not possible, point at it and say :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَمَانَتِیْ اَدَّیْتُہَا وَ مِیْثَاقِیْ تَعَاہَدْتُہٗ

Allahumma amanatii addaituha wamiisakii taahadtuhu

O Allah! I have discharged the trust reposed with me and fulfilled my promise

لِتَشْہَدَ لِیْ بِالْمُوَافَاۃِ

litashaada lii bilmuwaafati

so that You can be witness of my fulfillment.

اَللّٰہُمَّ تَصْدِیْقًا بِکِتَابِکَ وَ عَلٰی سُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّکَ

Allahumma tasdiqan bikitabika walaa sunati nabiyyika

O Allah! I have brought faith in Your Book and the practices of Your Prophet

صَلَوَاتُکَ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہ

salwatuka alaihi waalihi

peace be upon him and his progeny

اَشْہَدُ اَنْ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہٗ لاَ شَرِیْکَ لَہٗ

ashhadu an laa ilaha-illallahu wahdahu laa sharika lahu

I bear witness that there is no God except Allah,

وَ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہٗ وَ رَسُوْلُہٗ

waashaadu anna muhammadan abduhu warasuluhu

He is One and has no partner and that Muhammad is his servant and Messenger.

آمَنْتُ بِاللّٰہِ وَ کَفَرْتُ بِالْجِبْتِ وَ الطَّاغُوْتِ

aamantu billahi wakafartu biljibti wattaghuti

I have faith in Allah and disbelieve in false gods,

وَ اللاَّتِ وَ الْعُزّٰی وَ عِبَادَۃِ الشَّیْطَانِ

wallaati waluzza waibadati-sshaitani

Laat and Uzza, the worship of devils,

وَ عِبَادَۃِ کُلِّ نِدٍّ یُدْعٰی مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰہِ

waibadati kulli niddin yudaa min dunillahi.

and all those who call for worship other than Allah.

Then say :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِلَیْکَ بَسَطْتُ یَدِیْ وَ فِیْمَا عِنْدَکَ عَظُمَتْ

Allahumma ilaika basattu yadii wafiima indaka azumat

O Allah! I have extended my hands towards You and have great expectations from You.

رَغْبَتِیْ فَاقْبَلْ سُبْحَتِیْ وَ اغْفِرْ لِیْ وَ ارْحَمْنِیْ

raghbatti faaqbal sabhatii waghfirlii warhamnii.

Accept my endeavours, forgive me and shower mercy on me.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنَ الْکُفْرِ وَ الْفَقْرِ

allahumma innii auzubika minal kufri walfaqri

O Allah! I seek refuge from infidelity, poverty

وَ مَوَاقِفِ الْخِزْیِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الآْخِرَۃِ

wamawaaqifil khizyi fiduuniya walaakhirat.

and disgrace in this world and in the Hereafter.

Walk barefoot , Small steps , Recite Zikr , No Vain talk .

Common Tawaf duas
a.It has been reported from Muawiyah bin Ammar, quoting Abi Abdillah (a.s.), as saying that, during tawaf, the following supplication be said :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ یُمْشٰی بِہٖ

Allahumma innii asaluka bismikallazii yumshaa bihi

O Allah! I beseech You by Your name which makes possible motion

عَلٰی طَلَلِ الْمَآءِ کَمَا یُمْشٰی بِہٖ عَلٰی جُدَدِ الْاَرْضِ

alaa zulalil maai kama yumshaa bihi alaa judadil arzi

in the darkness of water as it does on land.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ یَہْتَزُّ لَہٗ عَرْشُکَ

wasaluka bismikal lazii tahtazuu lahu arshoka

I beseech You by Your Name which makes Your Arsh (Throne) swing.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ تَہْتَزُّ لَہٗ اَقْدَامُ مَلَآءِکَتِکَ

wasaluka bismikal lazii tahtazuu lahu aqdaamu malaikatika

I beseech You by Your Name which puts in motion the feet of Your angels.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ دَعَاکَ بِہٖ مُوْسٰی

waasaluku bismikallzii daaka bihi Musa

I beseech You by Your name by which Moosa (Moses)

مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّوْرِ فَاسْتَجَبْتَ لَہٗ

min janibi-tturi fastajabta lahu

supplicated to You on Mount Sinai

وَ اَلْقَیْتَ عَلَیْہِ مَحَبَّۃً مِّنْکَ

waaalqaita alaihi mahabbatan minka

and You granted his supplication and met him with love.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ غَفَرْتَ بِہٖ

waasaluka bismikallazii ghafarta bihi

I beseech You by Your name by which You granted immunity from sins

لِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

li-muhammadin sallallahu alaihi waalihi

to Muhammad Peace be upon him and his progeny

مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِہٖ وَ مَا تَاَخَّرَ

maa taqaddama min dhanbihi wamaa taakhara

and completed Your bounty on him,

وَ اَتْمَمْتَ عَلَیْہِ نِعْمَتَکَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِیْ کَذَا وَ کَذَا

waatmamta alaihi niimataka an tafal bii.

treat me with (ask for your wishes).

b.Say during tawaf :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اِلَیْکَ فَقِیْرٌ وَ اِنِّیْ خَآئِفٌ مُسْتَجِیْرٌ

Allahumma innii ilaika faqiirun wainni khaifun mustajiirun

I am in need for Your mercy, fearful and seeking Your refuge.

فَلاَ تُغَیِّرْ جِسْمِیْ وَ لاَ تُبَدِّلْ اِسْمِیْ

falaa tughaiyir jismii walaa tabaddil ismii.

Do not change my body or my name.

c.On reaching the door of the Kaaba in each circumambulation (round) recite this dua commencing with salwaat :

سَائِلُکَ فَقِیْرُکَ مِسْکِیْنُکَ بِبَابِکَ

Saailuka faqiiruka miskiinuka bibaabika

eng

فَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَیْہِ بِالْجَنَّۃِ

fatasaddag alaihi biljannati.

eng

اَللّٰہُمَّ الْبَیْتُ بَیْتُکَ وَ الْحَرَمُ حَرَمُکَ وَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدُکَ

allahumma albaitu baituka walharamu haramuka walabdu abduka

eng

وَ ہٰذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ الْمُسْتَجِیْرِ بِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ

wahadhaa maqaamul aaidhibikal mustajiiri bika minannari

eng

فَاَعْتِقْنِیْ وَ وَالِدَیَّ وَ اَہْلِیْ وَ وُلْدِیْ

faatiqnii wawaalidaiya waahlii wawuldiya

eng

وَ اِخْوَانِیَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنَ النَّارِ یَا جَوَادُ یَا کَرِیْمُ

waikhwaniyal muminina minannari yaa jawaduu ya karimu.

eng

d.Imam Sadiq (a.s.) has said that when Ali bin Hussein (a.s.) reached the Hijr (enclosure) of Ismail (a.s.) before reaching the Meezaab, he would raise his head and say while looking at the Meezaah :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَدْخِلْنِیْ الْجَنَّۃَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ

Allahumma adkhilniil jannata berahmateka

O Allah! place me in Heaven by Your mercy,

وَ اَجِرْنِیْ بِرَحْمَتِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ

wa ajirnii birahmatika minannari

save me, by Your mercy, from the fire,

وَ عَافِنِیْ مِنَ السُّقْمِ

waafinii minnasuqmi

protect me from evil,

وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَیَّ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ الْحَلاَلِ

waawsia alayya miarrizkil halali

increase for me lawful sustenance,

وَ ادْرَءْ عَنِّیْ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ

wadra annii sharra fasaqatil jinni walinsi

and save me from the viciousness of the jinn, men,

وَ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ

washaraa fasaqatil arabi walajami.

and save me from the viciousness of the Arabs and non-Arabs

e.It has been reported from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) that when You reach the back of the Holy Ka’ba having passed the Hijr (enclosure), say :

یَا ذَا المَنِّ وَ الطَّوْلِ وَ الْجُوْدِ وَ الْکَرَمِ

yadhal manni wattawli yadhal judi walkarimi

O one of bounty, might, generosity and nobility,

اِنَّ عَمَلِی ضَعِیفٌ فَضَاعِفْہُ لِی وَ تَقَبَّلْہُ مِنِّیْ

inna amalil zaiifun fazaaifahu lii wataqabbalhu minnii

my devotions are weak, make them stronger and accept them from me,

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ العَلِیْمُ

innaka antus-samiiul aliim.

verily You are All-Hearing, All-knowing

f.It has been reported from Abul Hassan Ridha (a.s.) that on reaching the Rukn-ul-Yamaani, one should raise hands in supplication and say :

یَا اَللہُ یَا وَلِیَّ الْعَافِیَۃِ وَ خَالِقَ الْعَافِیَۃِ

Ya allahu ya waliyyul aafiyat wakhaleqal aafiyat

O Allah! O Controller of health and its Provider,

وَ رَازِقَ الْعَافِیَۃِ وَ الْمُنْعِمُ بِالْعَافِیَۃِ

waraziqal aafiyat walmunimu bilaafiyati

One who grants it, One who bestows it

وَ الْمُتَفَضِّلُ بِالْعَافِیَۃِ عَلَیَّ وَ عَلٰی جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِکَ

walmutafazzalal bilaafiyati alayya waalaa jamiie khalqika

as a reward or as a grace on me and all creation,

یَا رَحْمٰنَ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَۃِ

ya rahmana-dduniya walaakhirati

O Merciful in this world and the Hereafter,

وَ رَحِیْمَہُمَا صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

warahiimahumma salli alaa muhammadin waali muhamad

shower Muhammad and his progeny with Your blessings,

وَ ارْزُقْنَا الْعَافِیَۃَ وَ تَمَامَ الْعَافِیَۃِ

warzuqnal aafiyata watamamal aafiyati

grant me health, lasting and complete

وَ شُکْرَ الْعَافِیَۃِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَۃِ

washukral aafiyati fidduniya walaakhirati

and thankfulness for it, in this world and in the Hereafter,

یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ

ya arhamarrahimin.

O Most Merciful of the merciful.

g.Then facing the front of Kaaba raising the hands say this :

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ شَرَّفَکِ وَ عَظَّمَکِ

Alhamdullahil lazii sharrafki waazzamaki

eng

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا نَبِیًّا

walhamdullillahiil lazii baasa muhammadan nabiyyan

وَ جَعَلَ عَلِیًّا اِمَامًا

wajaala alliyun imaman.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اہْدِ لَہٗ خِیَارَ خَلْقِکَ

Allahummahdi lahu khiyara khalqika

eng

وَ جَنِّبْہُ شِرَارَ خَلْقِکَ

h.Say the following between Rukh-e-Yamaani and Hajar-e-Aswad :

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّ فِی الْآخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً

Rabbana aatina fidduniya hasanatan wafilakherati hasanatan

O Allah! grant me goodness in this world and the Hereafter

وَّ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

waqina adhabannar

and save me from the fire of Hell).

i.And on reaching Hajar-e-Aswad say the following :

اَللّٰہُمَّ قَنِّعْنِیْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِیْ

Allahyma qanninii bima razaqtanii

O Allah! grant me contentment in the sustenance

وَ بَارِکْ لِیْ فِیْمَا آتَیْتَنِیْ

wabariklii fiima aataitanii.

You have provided me and bestow Your blessings on it.

The

Istelam of Hajr Aswad

in each round, i.e. by kissing it with a sign

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَمَانَتِیْ اَدَّیْتُہَا وَ مِیْثَاقِیْ

Allahumma amanatii addaituha wamiisakii

O Allah! I have discharged the trust reposed with me and fulfilled my promise

تَعَاہَدْتُہٗ لِتَشْہَدَ لِیْ بِالْمُوَافَاۃِ

taahadtuhu litashaada lii bilmuwaafat

so that You can be witness of my fulfillment.

In the 7th round at Mustajar (behind Kaaba and a little before Rukh-e-Yamaani.) One must stop a little and spread both the hands on the walls of Kaaba and with the face and body touching the wall, should say the following dua :

اَللّٰہُمَّ الْبَیْتُ بَیْتُکَ وَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدُکَ

Allahuma albaitu baituka walabdu abduka

O Allah! this House is Yours and this creature is Yours

وَ ہٰذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ بِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ

wahadhaa maqqamul aaidhi bika minnannari.

and this is the place for taking refuge in You from the fire of Hell

Then make confession of your sins for there is no faithful who makes confessions to his Lord in this place without Allah forgiving him, Allah willing, and say :

اَللّٰہُمَّ مِنْ قِبَلِکَ الرَّوْحُ وَ الْفَرَجُ وَ الْعَافِیَۃُ

Allahuma min qibalika-rrawhu walfaraju walaafiyautu.

O Allah! comfort, success and health come form You.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّ عَمَلِیْ ضَعِیْفٌ فَضَاعِفْہُ لِیْ

Allahuma inna amalii zaiifun fazaifhu lii

O Allah! my devotions are weak and so grant them strength

وَ اغْفِرْ لِیْ مَا اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَیْہِ مِنِّیْ

waghfirilii mattalata alaihi minni

and forgive me the sins which are so apparent

وَ خَفِيَ عَلٰی خَلْقِکَ اَسْتَجِیْرُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ النَّارِ

wakhafiya alaa khalqika astajiiru billahi minnanar.

to You but concealed from Your creatures

Then say :

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّ عِنْدِیْ اَفْوَاجًا مِنْ ذُنُوْبٍ

Allahuma inna indii afwajan min dhunubin

eng

وَ اَفْوَاجًا منْ خَطَایَا وَ عِنْدَکَ اَفْوَاجٌ مِنْ رَحْمَۃٍ

waafwwajan min khatayaa wa indaka afwaajun min rahmatin

eng

وَ اَفْوَاجٌ مِنْ مَغْفِرَۃٍ یَا مَنِ اسْتَجَابَ لِاَبْغَضِ خَلْقِہٖ

waafwaajun min maghfiratin ya manistajab a liabghazi khalqhi

eng

اِذْ قَالَ اَنْظِرْنِیْ اِلٰی یَوْمِ یُبْعَثُوْنَ اِسْتَجِبْ لِیْ

idh qala anzirnii ilaa yawmi yabasuuna istajiblii.

eng

Then seek refuge in Allah from the fire of Hell Then kiss the Rukn-ul-Yamaani by pointing (Istelam).

Seperate duas for each round of Tawaf

First Round

اللهُمّ إنّي أسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِك الّذِي يُمْشى‏ بِهِ عَلى‏

O Allah! I call on Thee by They name, by which

‏طُلَلِ الْماءِ كَما يُمْشى‏ بِهِ عَلى‏ جُدَدِ الأَرْضِ

trnsl

it is walked on the waves of the seas as it is walked on the roads of the land.

وَأسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الّذِيْ يَهْتَزّ لَهُ عَرْشُكَ

trnsl

And I call on Thee by Thy name, for which Thy throne shakes,

‏وَأسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الّذِي تَهْتَزّ لَهُ اَقْدامُ مَلائِكَتِكَ

trnsl

And I call on Thee by They name, for which the feet of Thy angels tremble,

وَأسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الّذِي دَعاكَ بِهِ مُوسى

trnsl

And I call on Thee by Thy name by which Moses

‏ مِنْ جانِبِ الطُورِ فاسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُ

trnsl

prayed to thee from the side of the Mountain (of Toor) and Thou accepted his prayer

وَألْقَيْتَ عَلَيْهِ ‏مَحَبّةً مِنْكَ

trnsl

and conferred Thy love on him,

وَأسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الّذي غَفَرْتَ بِهِ لِمُحَمّدٍ

trnsl

And I call on Thee by Thy name by which Thou pardoned Muhammad,

ما تَقَدّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَما تَأخّرَ

trnsl

all his previous and future sins,

وأتْمَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ نِعْمَتَكَ أنْ تَفْعَلَ بِي كَذا وَكَذا

trnsl

and completed all thine blessings for him To provide me with the best of this world and the hereafter

Second Round

اللهُمّ إنّي إلَيْكَ فَقِيْرٌ وَإنّي خائِفٌ مُسْتَجِيْرٌ

trnsl

O Allah! I am Thy dependent servant, and I am fearful and take refuge in Thee;

فَلا تُغَيّرْ جِسْمِي وَلا تُبَدّلْ إسْمِي

trnsl

so do not alter my body nor change my name.

سائِلُكَ فَقِيْرُكَ مِسْكِيْنُكَ بِبابِكَ

trnsl

I am your beggar, your poor destitute servant at your gate;

فَتَصَدّقْ عَلَيْهِ بِالْجَنّةِ

trnsl

so grant me mercifully your paradise.

اللهُمّ الْبَيْتُ بَيْتُكَ وَالْحَرَمُ حَرَمُكَ

trnsl

O Allah! The House is Thy House, and the sanctuary is Thy sanctuary,

وَالْعَبْدُ عَبْدُكَ وَهذا مَقامُ

trnsl

and the servant is Thy servant, and this is the station

الْعائِذِ بِكَ ‏الْمُسْتَجِيرِ بِكَ مِنَ النّارِ

trnsl

of him who turns to Thee and takes refuge with Thee from Fire;

فَأعْتِقْنِي وَوَالِدَيّ وَأهْلِي وَوُلْدِي

trnsl

so save me and my parents, my children

وَإخْوانِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنَ النّارِ يا جَوادُ يا كَريمُ

trnsl

and my faithful brethren from Fire, for Thou art the Generous, the Gracious.

Third Round

اللهُمّ أدْخِلْنِي الْجَنّةَ وَأجِرْنِي مِنَ النّارِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

trnsl

O Allah! Grant me the paradise by Thy mercy, and give me refuge from Fire by Thy mercy,

وَعافِنِي مِنَ السّقْمِ وَأوْسِعْ عَلَيّ مِنَ الرّزْقِ الْحَلالِ

trnsl

and heal me from disease, and enlarge Thy lawful bounty for me,

وَادْرَأْ عَنّي شَرّ فَسَقَةِ الجِنّ ‏وَالْإنْسِ

trnsl

and keep me safe from the evil of the dissolute among the genies and men

وَشَرّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ

trnsl

and the evil of the Arabs and non-Arabs.

يا ذَا الْمَنّ وَالطّوْلِ ياذَا الْجُودِ وَالْكَرَمِ

trnsl

O Thou bountiful, mighty and munificent !

إنّ عَمَلِي ضَعِيفٌ فَضاعِفْهُ لِي وَتَقَبّلْهُ مِنّي

trnsl

My deed is little, so multiply it, and accept it from me;

إنّكَ أنْتَ السّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ

trnsl

verily Thou art the All-hearing, the All-knowing.

Fourth Round

يا أللهُ يا وَلِيّ الْعافِيَةِ وَخَالِقَ الْعافِيَةِ

trnsl

O Allah! The owner of well-being, the creator of well-being,

وَرَازِقَ الْعافِيَةِ وَالْمُنْعِمُ بِالْعافِيَةِ

trnsl

the bestower of well-being, the granter of well-being,

وَالْمَنّانُ بِالعافِيَةِ والمُتَفَضّلُ بِالْعافِيَةِ

trnsl

and the conferrer of well-being

عَلَيّ وَعَلى‏ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ ‏يا

trnsl

on me and on all Thy creatures,

رَحْمنَ الدّنْيا وَالآخِرَةِ وَرَحيْمَهُما

trnsl

O, Thou the merciful of this world and the hereafter and their compassionate God,

صَلّ عَلى‏ مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ

trnsl

Bless Muhammad and his household,

وَارْزُقْنَا الْعافِيَةَ وَتَمامَ الْعافِيَةِ وَشُكْرَ الْعافِيَةِ

trnsl

and bestow on us well-being, full well-being, and thanks giving on well-being

في الدّنْيا وَالآخِرَةِ ‏ياأرْحَمَ الرّاحِمِيْنَ

trnsl

in this world and the hereafter, by Thy mercy, O Thou most merciful.

Fifth Round

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الّذي شَرّفَكِ وَعَظّمَكِ

trnsl

Praise to Allah Who has honoured thee and exalted thee,

وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ الّذي بَعثَ مُحَمّداً نَبِيّاً

trnsl

Praise to Allah Who sent Muhammad as a prophet

وَجَعَلَ عَليّاً اِماماً

trnsl

and designated Ali as Imam and the leader.

اللهُمّ اهْدِ لَهُ خِيارَ خَلْقِكَ وَجَنّبْهُ شِرارَ ‏خَلْقِكَ

trnsl

O, Allah, Guide the best of Thy people to him, and keep the evil of Thy creatures away from him.

رَبّنا آتِنا في الدّنيا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً

trnsl

O our Lord, Grant us Thy blessing in this world and Thy blessing in the other world,

وَقِنا عَذابَ النّارِ

trnsl

and save us from the pain of Fire.

Sixth Round

اللّهمّ البَيْتُ بَيتُكَ والعَبْدُ عَبْدُكَ

trnsl

O Allah! The House is Thy House and the servant is Thy servant,

وهذا مَقامُ العائذِ بِكَ مِنَ النارِ

trnsl

and this is the station of him who takes refuge with Thee from Fire.

اللّهمَّ مِنْ قِبَلِكَ الرّوحُ والفَرَجُ والعافيةُ

trnsl

O Allah! All blessing, relief and well-being come from Thee.

اللّهمَّ إنَّ عَمَلي ضَعيفٌ فضاعِفه لي

trnsl

O Allah! My deed is little, so multiply it for me,

وَاغفرْ لي مَا اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيهِ مِنّي وَخَفيَ عَلي خَلْقكَ

trnsl

and forgive all that Thou knowest of me but has been hidden from Thy creatures.

استَجيرُ بالله مِنَ النارِ

trnsl

I take refuge with Allah from Fire.

Seventh Round

اللّهمَّ إنَّ عِنْــدي أفـــواجاً مِن ذُنُــوب

trnsl

O Allah! I bear crowds of sins

وأفواجاً مِن خَطايا وَعِنْـدَكَ أفْواجٌ مِن رحمة

trnsl

and crowds of faults, and with thee are crowds of blessing

وأفواجٌ مِن مَغْفِرَة

trnsl

and crowds of forgiveness.

يا مَن استجابَ لأبغَضِ خَلْقِهِ

trnsl

O Thou Who granted the request of Thy most hated creatures

إذْ قالَ أنْظرُني إلى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ إسْتَجِب لي

trnsl

when he said “give me respite until the day they are resurrected,” grant me my request.

اللّهمَّ قَنِّعْني بِما رَزَقْتني وباركْ لي فيما آتيتني

trnsl

O Allah! Make me content with what you have provided me with, and bless me with what you have given me.

Seperate duas Tawaf DT

Farwell Tawaf and Dua

TAWAAF-E-WIDA It is recommended that, upon leaving Makkah, the pilgrim perform a tawaf of farewell. (tawaf-ul-widaa).
It is recommended to touch the Black stone and the Pillar of Yemen in each round if possible. Upon reaching 'Mustajaar', he should perform those recommendations which are described for this place. One should seek his desires and touch his belly with Kaba. Keep one hand on the Black stone and the other to the side of the door. Praise and glorify Allah, send salutations on Mohammed and his progeny and recite this supplication:

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُوْلِكَ وَ نَبِیِّكَ وَ اَمِیْنِكَ وَ حَبِیْبِكَ وَ نَجِیِّكَ وَ خِیَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ كَمَا بَلَّغَ رِسَالَاتِكَ وَ جَاهَدَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِكَ صَدَعَ بِاَمْرِكَ اُوْذِیَ فِیْكَ وَ فِیْ جَنْبِكَ حَتّٰی اَتٰیهُ الْیَقِیْنُ اَللّٰهُمَّ اقْلِبْنِیْ مُنْجِحًا مُفْلِحًا مُسْتَجَابًا لِیْ بِاَفْضَلِ مَا یَرْجِعُ بِهٖ اَحَدٌ مِنْ وَفْدِكَ مِنَ الْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَ الْبَرَكَۃِ وَ الرِّضْوَانِ وَ الْعَافِیَۃِ فِیْمَا یَسَعُنِیْ اَنْ اَطْلُبَ اَنْ تُعْطِیَنِیْ مِثْلَ الَّذِیْ اَعْطَیْتَهٗ اَفْضَلَ مَنْ عَبَدَكَ وَ تَزِیْدَنِیْ عَلَیْهِ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ بَیْتِكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَ ابْنُ اَمَتِكَ حَمَلْتَنِیْ عَلٰی دَابَّتِكَ وَ سَیَّرْتَنِیْ فِیْ بِلَادِكَ حَتّٰی اَدْخَلْتَنِیْ حَرَمَكَ وَ اَمْنَكَ وَ قَدْ كَانَ فِیْ حُسْنِ ظَنِّیْ بِكَ اَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِیْ ذُنُوْبِیْ فَاِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ غَفَرْتَ ذُنُوْبِیْ فَازْدَدْ عَنِّیْ رِضًی وَ قَرِّبْنِیْ اِلَیْكَ زُلْفٰی وَ لَا تُبَاعِدْنِیْ وَ اِنْ كُنْتَ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لِیْ وَ مِنَ الْآنَ فَاغْفِرْ لِیْ قَبْلَ اَنْ تَنْأیٰ عَنْ بَیْتِكَ دَارِیْ فَهٰذَا اَوَانُ انْصِرَافِیْ اِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ اَذِنْتَ لِیْ غَیْرَ رَاغِبٍ عَنْكَ وَ لَا عَنْ بَیْتِكَ وَ لَا مُسْتَبْدِلٍ بِكَ وَ لَا بِهٖ اَللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْنِیْ مِنْ بَیْنِ یَدَیَّ وَ عَنْ خَلْفِیْ وَ عَنْ یَمِیْنِیْ وَ عَنْ شِمَالِیْ حَتّٰی تُبَلِّغَنِیْ اَھْلِیْ فَاِذَا بَلَّغْتَنِیْ اَھْلِیْ فَاكْفِنِیْ مَؤُوْنَۃَ عِیَالِیْ فَاِنَّكَ وَلِیُّ ذَالِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَ مِنِّیْ۔

Drink a little water of Zam Zam and recite this supplication:

آئِبُوْنَ تَائِبُوْنَ عَابِدُوْنَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُوْنَ اِلٰی رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُوْنَ رَاغِبُوْنَ اِلٰی رَبِّنَا رَاجِعُوْنَ اِنْ شَائَ اﷲُ۔

اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد عَبْدِکَ وَ رَسُولِکَ

trnsl

O Allah! have mercy on Muhammad, Your slave, Messenger,

وَ نَبِیِّکَ وَ أَمینِکَ وَ حَبیبِکَ وَ نَجِیِّکَ

trnsl

Prophet, Trusted, Beloved, Noble

وَ خِیَرَتِکَ مِنْ خَلْقِکَ

Trnsl

and the best of Your creation.

أَللّهُمَّ کَما بَلَّغَ رِسالاتِکَ وَ جاهَدَ فی سَبیلِکَ

trnsl

O Allah! just as he delivered Your message, fought in Your cause,

وَ صَدَعَ بِأَمْرِکَ وَ أُوذِىَ فی جَنْبِکَ

trnsl

accomplished Your commands

وَ عَبَدَکَ حَتّى أَتاهُ الیَقینُ

trnsl

and worshipped You to his last,

أللّهُمَّ اقْلِبْنی مُفلِحاً مُنْجِحاً مُسْتَجاباً

trnsl

! turn my fortunes around by granting me success, salvation

بِأَفْضَلِ مایَرْجِعُ بِهِ اَحَدٌ مِنْ وَفْدِکَ مِنَ المَغْفِرَةِ وَ الْبَرَکَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَ الرِّضْوانِ وَ الْعافِیَةِ

MUSTAHABAT OF SALAAT OF TAWAF
In 2 Rakat tawaf prayer, it is recommended that after the recitation of the Chapter of Fatihah, in the first raka’a be said the Chapter of Tawheed and in the second raka’a the Chapter of Kafiroon.
On completion of the prayer, one must praise Allah, recite salwaat (a.s.) and pray for the acceptance of one’s efforts.

On completing Namaz-e-tawaf say this:

اَللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي وَلاَ تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ ألعَهْدِ مِنِّي

allahuma taqabbal minii walaa tajalhu aakhiral ahdi minii.

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ بِمَحَامِدِه كُلِّهَا عَلَى نَعْمَائِهِ كُلِّهَا

alhamduhlillahi bimahamidihi kullihaa alaa namaaiha kullihaa

eng

حَتَّى يَنْتَهِيَ اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ إلىَ ما يُحِبُّ وَيَرْضىَ

hattaa yantahiyal hamdu ilaamaa yuhibbu wayarzaa.

eng

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّي عَلىَ مُحَمَّدٍ و آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma sallli alaa muhammadin waali muhammadin

eng

وَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي وَطَهِّرْ قَلْبِي وَزَكِ عَمَلِي

wataqabbal minii watahhir qalbi wazakki amalii.

eng

Add this

allahumma-rhamnii bitaatil iyyaka wataatii rasulika sallallahu alaihi waalihi. allahumma janna-bnii an ataadaa huduudaka wajaalnii mimman yuhibbuka wayuhibbu rasulakaa ka sallallahu alaihi waalihi wamalaaikatika waibadikassalihin.

It has been reported from Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) that he would say in sajdah after the prayer the following :

سَجَدَ لَکَ وَجْهِی تَعَبُّداً وَرِقّاً

sajada laka wajhii taabbudan wariqqan

I prostate myself before You in worship and service.

لااِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ حَقّاً حَقّاً

laa ilaha anta haqqan haqqa.

It is the truth that there is no God except You.

اَلاْ وَّلُ قَبْلَ کُلِّ شَىْء وَ الاْخِرُ بَعْدَ کُلِّ شَىْء

alaww-alu qabla kulli shaiin walaakjiru baada kulli shaiin

You were there before anything and will be there after everything perishes.

وَ ها اَنَا ذابَیْنَ یَدَیکَ ناصِیَتِی بِیَدِکَ

wahaa ana dhabaina yadai-ka naasiyatii biyadika faghfirlii

I am before You and my forelock is in Your hands.

فَاغْفِرْلِی اِنَّهُ لایَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِیمَ غَیْرُکَ

faghfirlii innahu laa yaghferu dhanbal aziim ghairuka

Forgive my sins for there is none to forgive major sins except You.

فَاغْفِرْلِی فَإنِّی مُقِرٌّ بِذُنُوبِی عَلى نَفْسِی

faghfirlii fainii muqirrun bidhunubii alaa nafsii

Forgive me as I confess my sins against myself

وَ لایَدْفَعُ الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِیمَ غَیْرُکَ

walaa yadfau-dhanbal azumaghairuk

and none can avert cardinal sins except You).

He would then cry a lot.

Zam Zam

On completing the prayer after tawaf, one should draw water from Zamzam, drink a little and pour a little on the head, back and body and say the supplication before departing to Safa

اَللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ عِلْماً نَافِعاً وَرِزْقاً وَاسِعاً وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَسُقْمٍ

allahummajalhu ilman naafian warizkan waasian washifaan min kulli daain wasuqmin.

O Allah! make it useful knowledge, abundant sustenance and spare me all sickness and evil.

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِا للهِ وَالشُّكْرُ للهِ

This dua is also to be recited each time zam zam drink is taken

Courtesies Before and During SA’EY

Zam Zam : On completing the prayer after tawaf, one should draw water from Zamzam, drink a little and pour a little on the head, back and body and say the supplication before departing to Safa

اَللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ عِلْماً نَافِعاً وَرِزْقاً وَاسِعاً وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَسُقْمٍ

allahummajalhu ilman naafian warizkan waasian washifaan min kulli daain wasuqmin.

O Allah! make it useful knowledge, abundant sustenance and spare me all sickness and evil.

BEFORE SA'EE AT SAFA

It is recommended to depart to Safa, with peace and serenity, by the door facing the Black Stone. At Safa face the Holy Ka’ba at the corner with the Black Stone, praise Allah, remember His bounties,
Say seven times each
Allahu Akbar, Al-Hamdulillah and La ilaha ilallah , and then say thrice:

لَا اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَهُ لْحَمْدُ يُحيِى وَ يُمِيْتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَ هُوَ عَلىَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

laaailaha illallahu wahdahu laa sharika lahu, lahulmulku walahulhamdu yuhii wayumiitu wayuhii wahuwa hayyun laa yamutu wahuwa alaa kulli shaiin qadir.

There is no God except Allah, He is One without any partner. All property belongs to Him and all praise is due to Him. He gives life and takes it away; He has always been alive and will never die. All goodness emanates from Him and He is powerful over all things).

Then read salwaat 3 times and read the following also 3 times:

اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ عَلىَ مَا هَدَانَا وَالْحَمْدُ لِله عَلىَ مَا أَوْلاَنَا وَالْحَمْدُ لِله الْحَيِّ الْقَيُّمِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِله الْحَيِّ الدَّائِمِ

allahu akberu alaa maa hadaana. alhamduhlillahi alaa maa awlana walhumdulillahil hayyil qaayyumi walhamdullahil hayyi-ddaimi.

Allah is Great: He has granted us guidance. All praise is to Allah; He has showered us with bounties. All praise to Allah who is Living and Eternal and all praise is ever due to Him).

And then 3 times:

اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لاَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ لاَ نَعْبُدُ إلاَّ إيَّاهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهً الدِّيْنَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ

ashhadu an laa ilaha illallahu waash-hadu anna muhammadan abduhu warasuluhu laa naabudu illa iyyahu mukhlishiina lahu-ddina walawkarihal mushrikun.

(I bear witness that there is no God except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. We do not worship anyone except Him, sincere in our faith, however averse may the polytheists be

And this 3 times:

اَللهُمَّ اِنِّى اَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ وَالْيَقِيْنَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

allahumma inni asalukal afwa walaafiyata walyaqiina fidduniya walaakhirati.

O Allah! I beseech You for forgiveness, health, and firmness in faith in this world and the Hereafter

Say this 3 times:

اَللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

allahumma aatina fidduniya hasanatan wafil aakhirati hasanatan waqina adhabannar.

O Allah! grant us the virtues of this world and the Hereafter and spare us the fire of Hell

Then say this one hundred (100) times:
ALLAHU AKBER – 100 times
LA ILAHA ILLALLAH – 100 times
ALHAMDULILLAH - 100 times
SUBHANALLAH - 100 times

Then recite this:

لاَ اِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ اَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ

La ilaha illalaahu wahdahu wahdahu anjaza waadahu

There is no God but Allah, He is only One, He has accomplished His promise,

وَنَصَرَ عَبْدُهُ وَهَزَمَ الأحْزَابِ وَحْدَهُ

wanasara abdahu waghalabal ahzabi wahdahu

He has helped His servant and singly overpowered the groups of infidels.

فَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ

falahu mulku walahul hamdu wahdahu.

All property belongs to Him and all praise is due to Him, Him alone.

اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي الْمَوْتِ وَفِي مَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ

Allahumma barik lii filmawti wafiima baadal mawti.

O Allah! bless my death and what happens after it.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ ظُلْمَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَوَحْشَتِهِ

Allahumma innii audhubika min zulmatil qabri wahshatihi.

O Allah! I seek refuge from the darkness and loneliness of the grave.

اَللَّهُمَّ أَظِلِّنِي فِي ظِلِّ عَرْشِكَ يَوْمَ لاَ ظِلِّ إلاَّ ظِلُّكَ

Allahumma azillinii fii zilli arshika yawma laa zilla illa zilluka.

O Allah! grant me shelter under the shade of Your Throne on the day when there will be no shelter except Yours.

Then give yourself, your wealth, your family in Allah 's refuge and say this :

أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ الرَّحْمَانَ الرَّحِيْمَ الَّذِي لاَ تُضِيعُ وَدَائِعُهُ دِينِي وَنَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي

Astawdiullaha arrahmanarrahima allazii laa taziiu wadaaiuhu diinii wanafsii waahlii

I leave my religion, myself and family in the hands of Allah, the Merciful, the Beneficent, who does not let anything deposited with him to be

اَللَّهُمَّ إسْتَعْمِلْنِي عَلىَ كِتاَبِكَ وَسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ

Allahumma-staamilnii alaa kitabika wasunnati nabiyyika

O Allah! keep me steadfast in following Your Book and the practices of Your Prophet,

وَتَوَفِّنِي عَلىَ مِلَّتِهِ وَأَعِذْنِي مِنَ الْفِتْنَةِ

watawaffanii alaa millatihi waafidhnii minal fitnati

keep me among his followers until my death and save me from dissension.

And then say : ALLAHU AKBER and repeat the above supplication ..astawdiullaha.

It has been reported from Imam Ali (a.s.) that when one climbs the Safa, one must face the Holy Ka’ba, raise one’s hands in supplication and say :

اَللَّهُمَّ إغْفِرْ لِي كُلَّ ذَنْبٍ أذْنَبْتَهُ

Allahumaaghfirlii kulli dhanbin adhnabtuhu

O Allah ! forgive all my sins whenever I may have committed them

قَطُّ فَإنْ غُذْتُ فَعُذْ عَلَيَّ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ

qattu fain udtu faud alaiyya bilmaghfirati

and if I repeat them, forgive me again,

فَإنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

fainnaka antal ghafurrur rahim

for You are Forgiving and Merciful.

وَلاَ تَفْعَلْ بِي مَا أنَا اَهْلَهُ

lahumma ifal bii maa anta ahluhu

O Allah ! deal with me as it befits You

فَاِنَّكَ إنْ تَفْعَلْ بِي مَا أنْتَ أَهْلَهُ تَرْحَمْنِي

fainnaka in fat'al bi ma anta ahlahu tarhamnii

and if You would do so, You would have mercy on me.

وَإنْ تَعَذِّبْنِي وَاَنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِي

wain tuadhiibni faanta ghaniyyun an adhabii

You are free from any need to punish me

وَ أَنَا مُحْتَاجٌ إلَى رَحْمَتِهِ إرْحَمْنِي

waana muhtaajun ilaa rahmatihi irhamnii

but I am in need of Your mercy, have mercy on me

وَلاَ تَفْعَلْ بِي مَا أنَا اَهْلَهُ

wala tafal bii maa ana ahluhu

O Allah! do not deal with me as I deserve,

فَاِنَّكَ إنْ تَفْعَلْ بِي مَا أنَا اَهْلَهُ تَعَذِّبِنِي

fainnaka in tafal bii-maa ana ahluhu tuaddhibnii

for if You do so, You will punish me

وَلَمْ تَظْاِمْنِي أَصْبَحْتُ أتَّقِي عَذْلَكَ

walam tazlimnii asbahtu attaqii adlaka

without being unjust to me. I fear Your justice

وَلاَ أَخَافُ جَوْرَكَ فَيَا مَنْ هُوَ عَدْلٌ لاَ يَجُورُ إرْحَمْنِي

wala akhaafu jawraka fayaman huwa adlun laa yahuuru irhamnii-

but have no fear of injustice from You. O One who is absolutely Just, have mercy on me

then say
yaman laa yakhiibu saailuhu wala yanfadu naailuhu salli alaa muhammadin waali muhammadin wa aidhnii minannari birahmatika

It has been reported from Abi Adillah (a.s.) that if one seeks to increase one’s wealth, one should wuquf at Safa longer. Descend to the 4th step facing Kaaba recite the following duas :

اَللهُمَّ أنِّي أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَتِهِ

allahumma innii audhubika min adhabil qabri wafitnatihi

eng

وَغُرْبَتِهِ وَوَحْشَتِهِ وَظُلْمَتِهِ وَضِيقِهِ وَضَنْكِهِ

waghurbatihi wa wahshatihi wazulmatihi waziiqihi wazankihi.

اَللَّهُمَّ أَظِلَّنِي فِي ظِلِّ عَرْشِكَ يَوْمَ لاَ ظِلَّ إلاَّ ظِلُّكَ

allahumma azillinii fii zilli arshika yawma laa zilla illa zilluka

eng

On the bottom step remove the upper cloth from the waist say this :

یَا رَبَّ الْعَفْوِ يَا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِالْعَفْوِ

ya rabbal afwi, ya man amara bilafwi

eng

يَا مَنْ هُوَ أَوْلَى بِالْعَفْوِ

ya man howa awla bil afwi

eng

يَا مَنْ يُثِيْبُ عَلَى الْعَفْوِ الْعَفْوَ الْعَفْوَ الْعَفْوَ

ya man yusiibu alaal afwi, alafwa alafwa alafwa.

eng

یَا جَوَادُ يَا كَرِيْمُ يَا قَرِيْبُ يَا بَعِيدُ أُرْدُدْ

ya jawadu ya karimu ya karimu ya karimu ya karimu ya baiidu urdud

eng

عَلَى نِعْمَتَكَ وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِطَاعَتِكَ وَمَرْضَاتِكَ

alaiya niamatika wassstaamilnii bitaatika wamarzaatika.

DURING SAEE

It is recommended to perform the sa’y by walking in peace and dignity. When men reach the first minaret(green light), they should hasten the pace till the location of the second minaret. There is no such recommendation for women. Then one should continue to walk with peace and awe till one arrives at Marwah where one should repeat what was done at Safa and return from Marwah to Safa in the same manner.
When reaching the Minara of Haarwalla (green light) recite the following:

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأهْلِ بَيْتِهِ اَللَّهُمَّ إغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ إنَّكَ أَنْتَ الأَعَزُّ الأَكْرَمُ وَاهْدِنِي لِلَّتِي هَيَ أَقْوَمِ اَللَّهُمَّ إنَّ عَمَلِي ضَعِيفٌ فَضَاعِفْهُ لِي وَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَعْيِي وَبِكَ حَوْلِي وَقُوَّتِي تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي عَمَلِي يَا مَنْ يَقْبَلُ عَمَلَ المُتَّقِيْنَ

bismillahi wabillahi wallahu akber wasallallahu alaa muhammadin waahli baitihi. allahumma ighfir warham watajawaz amma taalamu innaka antal aazul akram wahdinii lillatii hiya aqwamu. allahumma inna amalii zaiifun fazaaifhu lii wataqabbal minnii. allahumma laka saayii wabika hawlii waquwwatii wataqabbal minnii amalii yaman yaqbalu amalamuttaqiin.

On going beyond the second (green) pillar say the following:

يَا ذَا مَنِّ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالْكَرَمِ وَالنَعْمَاءِ وَالْجُودِ إغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي إنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ

yadha manii walfazli walkarami wanaamaai waljuudi ighfirlii dhunubii innahu laa yaghfiruddhunuba illa anta.

And on reaching Marwa (hill) recite all the duas which have been mentioned for Safaa and say this dua too:

َاللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِالْعَفْوِ يَا مَنْ يُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي عَلَى الْعَفْوِ يَا مَنْ يَعْفُو عَلَى الْعَفْوِ یَا رَبِّ الْعَفْوَ اَلْعَفْوَ اَلْعَفْوَ

allahumma yaman amara bilafwi yaman yuhibbul afwa ya man yuatii alaal afwi yaman yaafuu alaal afwi ya rabbal afwa alafwal alafwa.

During Saee one must cry and recite this throughout:

اَللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسْأَلُكَ حُسْنَ الظَّنِّ بِكَ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ وَصَدْقَ النِّيَّةِ فِي التَّوَكُلِ عَلَيْكَ

allahumma innii asaluka husna-zzani bika alaa kulli haalin wasidkan-niyaati fittawakkuli alaika.

The Prayer of the FIRST Round, from Safa to Marwah

اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ کَبِیراً وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ کَثِیراً

Allah is great in His greatness, and abundant praise belongs to Allah;

وَ سُبْحانَ اللهِ الْعَظِیمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ الْکَرِیمِ بُکْرَةً وَ أَصِیلا

Glory be to Exalted Allah, and praise is due to His Honour both morning and night.

وَ مِنَ اللَّیْلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَیْلا طَوِیلا

trnsl

And bow down to Him for a part of the night, and glorify Him for a long time at night.

لا اِلهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ اَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ وَ نَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ

There is no god save Allah, the One; He has fulfilled His word, granted victory to [helped] His servant,

وَ هَزَمَ الاَحْزابَ وَحْدَهُ لا شَىءَ قَبْلَهُ وَ لا بَعْدَهُ

and alone defeated the parties.Nothing is there before or after Him;

یُحْیِی وَ یُمِیتُ وَ هُوَ حَىٌّ لا یَمُوتُ وَ لا یَفُوتُ أَبَداً

He is the One Who gives life or causes death, and He is the living Who never dies or passes away.

بِیَدِهِ الْخَیْرُ وَ اَلَیْهِ الْمَصِیرُ

All good is in His hand; the return of all is to Him,

وَ هُوَ عَلى کُلِّ شَىْء قَدِیرٌ

trnsl

and He has power over all things.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اعْفُ وَ تَکَرَّمْ

trnsl

O Lord ! Forgive and have mercy and pardon and be gracious

وَ تَجاوَزْ عَمّا تَعْلَمْ اِنَّکَ تَعْلَمُ ما لا نَعْلَمُ

trnsl

and excuse what Thou knowest, surely Thou knowest what we do not know,

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ الاَعَزُّ الاَکْرَمُ

trnsl

verily Thou art Allah, the All-mighty, the most Generous.

رَبِّ نَجِّنا مِنَ النّارِ سالِمِینَ غانِمِینَ

trnsl

O Lord! Save us from Fire, and make us safe, successful,

فَرِحِینَ مُسْتَبْشِرِینَ مَعَ عِبادِکَ الصّالِحِینَ

trnsl

happy, rejoicing with Thy righteous servants,

مَعَ الَّذِینَ اَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَیْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِیِّینَ

trnsl

with those who are blessed by Thee – the Prophets,

وَ الصِّدِّیقِینَ وَ الشُّهَداءِ وَ الصّالِحِینَ

trnsl

the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous

وَ حَسُنَ اُولئِکَ رَفِیقاً ذلِکَ الْفَضْلُ مِنَ اللهِ

trnsl

and what good companions are those. That is the bounty of Allah,

وَ کَفى باللهِ عَلِیماً

trnsl

and it is enough that Allah is All-knowing.

لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اللهُ حَقّاً حَقّاً لا اِلهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ

trnsl

There is no god save Allah, truly right. There is no god save Allah

وَ لا نَعْبُدُ اِلاّ اِیّاهُ مُخْلِصِینَ لَهُ الدِّینُ

trnsl

and only Him we do worship; we make our religion sincerely His,

وَ لَوْ کَرِهَ الْکافِرُونَ

trnsl

though the unbelievers may be averse.

اِنَّ الصَّفا وَ الْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعائِرِ الله

trnsl

Surely, Safa and Marwah are amongst the rituals of Allah;

ِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَیْتَ اَوِ اعْتَمَرَ

trnsl

so he who makes pilgrimage to the House or visits it,

فَلا جُناحَ عَلَیْهِ اَنْ یَطَّوَفَ بِهِما

trnsl

there is no sin to circumambulate them.

وَ مَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَیْراً فَاِنَّ اللهَ شاکِرٌ عَلِیمٌ

trnsl

And if anyone obeyeth his own impulse to good deeds, surely Allah is grateful and All-knowing

The Prayer of the Second Round, from Marwah to Safa :

اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ وَ لِلهِ الْحَمْدُ

Allah is Great, Allah is Great, Allah is Great and praise belongs to Him,

لا اِله اِلاَّ اللهُ الْواحِدُ الاْاحَدُ الْفَرْدُ الصَّمَدُ

There is no god save Allah, the One, the Unique,

الَّذِی لَمْ یَتَّخِذْ صاحِبَةً وَ لا وَلَداً

trnsl

the Everlasting, He Who has taken no consort, and has no Children,

وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَهُ شَرِیکٌ فِی الْمُلْکِ

trnsl

He Who has no partner in His kingdom,

وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَهُ وَلِىٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ کَبِّرْهُ تَکْبِیراً

trnsl

nor has He a master out of weakness, And we glorify Him greatly.

اَللّهُمَّ اِنَّکَ قُلْتَ فِی کِتابِکَ الْمُنْزَلِ

trnsl

O Allah! Thou hast said in Thy revealed Book

اُدْعُونِی اَسْتَجِبْ لَکُمْ

trnsl

“Call unto Me, and I will grant your request.”

دَعَوْناکَ رَبَّنا فَاغْفِرْ لَنا کَما اَمَرْتَنا

trnsl

O Lord ! We have called unto Thee, as Thou hast ordered us; so forgive us,

اِنَّکَ لا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیعادَ

trnsl

Truly Thou never doest change Thy word.

رَبَّنا اِنَّنا سَمِعنا مُنادِیاً یُنادِى لِلاِْیمانِ

trnsl

O Lord! We have heard a caller calling to faith :

اَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّکُمْ فَآمَنّا رَبَّنا فَاغْفِرْ لَنا ذُنُوبَنا

trnsl

“Have faith in your Lord.” We have faith; so Lord, forgive us our sins,

وَ کَفِّرْ عَنّا سَیِّئاتِنا وَ تَوَفَّنا مَعَ الاَْبْرارِ

trnsl

and acquit us of our evil deeds, and take us to Thee with the righteous.

رَبَّنا وَ آتِنا ما وَعَدْتَنا عَلى رُسُلِکَ

trnsl

O Lord ! Give us what Thou promised us through Thy Prophets,

وَ لا تُحْزِنا یَوْمَ الْقِیامَةِ اِنَّکَ لا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیعادَ

trnsl

Do not disgrace us on the Day of Judgment, Surely Thou never doest change Thy word.

رَبَّنا عَلَیْکَ تَوَکَّلْنا وَ اِلَیْکَ اَنَبْنا وَ اِلَیْکَ الْمَصِیرُ

trnsl

O Lord! We trust Thee, and we turn to Thee, and to Thee is the final return of all.

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنا وَ لاِِخْوانِنَا الَّذِینَ سَبَقُونا بالاِْیمانِ

trnsl

O Lord ! Forgive us and our brethren who preceded us in faith,

وَ لا تَجْعَلْ فِى قُلُوبِنا غِلا لِلَّذِینَ آمَنُوا

trnsl

and let our hearts hold no grudge against those who have belief,

رَبَّنا اِنَّکَ رَؤُفٌ رَحِیمٌ

trnsl

Surely, Thou art the Kind, the Compassionate.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاعْفُ وَ تَکَرَّمْ

O Lord! Forgive and have mercy and pardon and be gracious

وَ تَجاوَزْ عَمّا تَعْلَمُ اِنَّکَ تَعْلَمُ ما لا نَعْلَمُ

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ الاَعَزُّ الاَکْرَمُ

verily Thou art Allah, the All-mighty, the most Generous.

O Lord ! Make our light perfect for us, and forgive us,

اِنَّکَ عَلى کُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِیرٌ

truly Thou hast power over all things.

اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْئَلُکَ الْخَیْرَ کُلَّهُ عاجِلَهُ وَ آجِلَهُ

O Allah! I ask Thee all that is good, present and future good,

وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُکَ لِذَنْبِی

trnsl

and I ask Thee to forgive me my sins,

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ رَحْمَتَکَ یا اَرْحَمَ الرّاحِمِینَ

trnsl

and I ask Thee Thy mercy, O Thou most Merciful.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اعْفُ وَ تَکَرَّمْ

O Lord! Forgive and have mercy and pardon and be gracious

وَ تَجاوَزْ عَمّا تَعْلَمُ اِنّکَ تَعْلَمُ ما لا نَعْلَمُ

and excuse what Thou knowest, surely Thou knowest what we do not know,

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ الاَعَزُّ الاَکْرَمُ

verily Thou art Allah, the All-mighty, the most Generous.

رَبِّ زِدْنِی عِلْماً وَ لا تُزِغْ قَلْبِی بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَیْتَنِی

O Lord, increase my knowledge, and do not make my heart swerve now that Thou hast guided me,

وَهَبْ لِی مِنْ لَدُنْکَ رَحْمَةً اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ الْوَهّابُ

and bestow on me Thy mercy, truly Thou art the bestower.

اَللّهُمَّ عافِنِى فِی سَمْعِی وَ بَصَرِی

O Allah! Protect my ears (hearing) and my sight – (eye).

لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ سُبْحانَکَ اِنِّی کُنْتُ مِنَ الظّالِمِینَ

There is no god save Thee, and I take refuge in Thee. Glory be to Thee, surely I have been of the wrongdoers.

اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنَ الْکُفْرِ وَ الْفَقْرِ

O Allah! I take refuge in Thee from disbelief and poverty.

اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَعُوذُ بِرِضاکَ مِنْ سَخَطِکَ

O Allah! I take refuge in Thy satisfaction from Thy wrath,

وَ بِمُعافاتِکَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِکَ

I take refuge in Thy well-being from Thy chastisement,

وَ اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْکَ لا اُحْصِی ثَناءً عَلَیْکَ

I take refuge in Thee from Thee; I cannot estimate Thy praise

اَنْتَ کَما اَثْنَیْتَ عَلى نَفْسِکَ

as Thou hast praised Thyself,

فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ حَتّى تَرْضى

trnsl

Praise is due to Thee as much as Thou art satisfied.

اِنَّ الصَّفا وَ الْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعائِرِ اللهِ

trnsl

Surely, Safa and Marwah are amongst the rituals of Allah;

فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَیْتَ اَوِ اعْتَمَرَ

trnsl

so he who makes pilgrimage to the House or visits it,

فَلا جُناحَ عَلَیْهِ اَنْ یَطَّوَفَ بِهِما

trnsl

there is no sin to circumambulate them.

وَ مَنْ تَطَّوَعَ خَیْراً فَاِنَّ اللهَ شاکِرٌ عَلِیمٌ

trnsl

And he if anyone obeyeth his own impulse to good deeds, surely Allah is grateful and All-knowing.

The Prayer of the Fourth Round, from Marwah to Safa :

اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ، اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ وَ لِلهِ الْحَمْدُ

Allah is great, Allah is great, and praise belongs to Allah;

اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْئَلُکَ مِنْ خَیْرِ ما تَعْلَمُ

O Allah! I ask Thee the best that Thou knowest,

وَ اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما تَعْلَمُ

and I take refuge in Thee from the most evil that Thou knowest,

وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُکَ مِنْ کُلِّ ما تَعْلَمُ

and I ask Thee to pardon me all that Thou knowest,

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ عَلاّمُ الْغُیُوبِ

truly Thou knowest all that is hidden.

لا اِلهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ الْمَلِکُ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِینُ

There is no god have save Allah, the undoubtedly right lord

مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ الصِّادِقُ الْوَعْدِ الاَمِینُ

Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah, the true in his promise, the trustworthy.

اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْئَلُکَ کَما هَدَیْتَنِی لِلاِْسْلام

O Allah! As Thou hast guided me to Islam,

اَنْ لا تُنْزِعَهُ مِنِّی حَتّى تَتَوَفّانِی عَلَیْهِ وَ اَنَا مُسْلِمٌ

I ask Thee not to take it away from me so that when Thou take back my soul I may die and I am a Muslim.

اَلّلهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِی قَلْبِی نُوراً وَ فِی سَمْعِی نُوراً

O Allah! Let there be light in my heart, and light in my ears,

وَ فِی بَصَرِی نُوراً

and light in my eyes.

O Allah and my Lord! Expand my chest, and make easy my affair,

وَ شَتاتِ الاَمْرِ وَ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ

and the division of the affairs, and the ordeal of the grave.

اللّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما یَلِجُ فِی اللَّیْلِ

O Allah! I take refuge in Thee from the evil that enters the night

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما یَلِجُ فِی النَّهارِ

and the evil that enters the day,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما تَهَبُ بِهِ الرِّیاحُ

and all evil that the winds come with,

یا اَرْحَمَ الرّحِمِینَ

surely Thou art the most Merciful.

سُبْحانَکَ ما عَبَدْناکَ حَقَّ عِبادَتِکَ یا اللّهُ

O Allah! Glory be to Thee, truly we have not worshiped Thee as Thou must be worshipped.

سُبْحانَکَ ما ذَکَرْناکَ حَقَّ ذِکْرِکَ یا اللهُ

O Allah! Glory be to Thee, truly we have not remembered Thee as Thou must be remembered.

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ اعْفُ وَ تَکَرَّمْ

O Lord! Forgive and have mercy and pardon and be gracious

وَ تَجاوَزْ عَمّا تَعْلَمُ اِنَّکَ تَعْلَمُ ما لا نَعْلَمُ

وَ کَرِّهْ اِلَیْنَا الْکُفْرَ وَ الْفُسُوقَ وَ الْعِصْیانَ

and make us hate disbelief and dissolution and disobedience,

وَ اجْعَلْنا مِنَ الرّشِدِینَ

and makes us of the guided.

surely Thou knowest what we do not know,

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ الاَعَزُّ الْاَکْرَمُ

verily Thou art Allah, the All-mighty, the most Generous.

O Allah! Save me from Thy chastisement the day when Thou resurrect Thy servants.

اَللّهُمَّ اهْدِنِی بِالهُدى وَ نَقِّنِی بِالتَّقْوى

O Allah! Lead me to Thy guidance, and purify me be Thy fear,

وَ اغْفِرْ لِی فِی الاْخِرَةِ وَ الْاُولى

and forgive me in this and the other world.

اَللّهُمَّ اَبْسِطْ عَلَیْنا مِنْ بَرَکاتِکَ

granted victory to [helped] His servant, and alone defeated the parties.

لا اِلهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ وَ لا نَعْبُدُ اِلاّ اِیّاهُ

There is no god save Allah; only Him we do worship,

مُخْلِصِینَ لَهُ الدِّینَ وَ لَوْ کَرِهَ الْکافِرونَ

and we make our religion sincerely His, though the unbelievers may be averse.

اَلّلهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْئَلُکَ الْهُدى وَ التُّقى وَ الْعِفافَ وَ الْغِنى

O Allah! I ask Thee guidance, piety, chastity and sufficiency.

اَلّلهُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ کَالَّذِی تَقُولُ

O Allah! Praise is Thine as Thou sayest,

وَ خَیْراً مِمّا تَقْولُ

trnsl

and what Thou sayest is right.

اَلّلهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْئَلُکَ رِضاکَ وَ الْجَنَّةَ

O Allah! I ask Thee Thy satisfaction and Paradise

وَ اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ سَخَطِکَ وَ النّارَ

and I take refuge in Thee from Thy dissatisfaction and from Fire

وَ ما یُقَرّبُنِی اِلَیْها مِنْ قَوْل وَ فِعْل اَوْ عَمَل

and that which brings me close to it, of words or deeds or actions.

اَلّلهُمَّ بِنُورِکَ اهْتَدَیْنا وَ بِفَضْلِکَ اسْتَغْنَیْنا

O Allah! We are guided by Thy light, we are sufficient by Thy grace,

وَ فِی کَنَفِکَ وَ اِنْعامِکَ وَ عَطائِکَ وَ اِحْسانِکَ

and under Thy protection, blessings, endowment and bounty.

اَصْبَحْنا وَ اَمْسَیْنا اَنْتَ الاَوَّلُ فَلا قَبْلَکَ شَىْءٌ

Thou art the First before Whom there was nothing,

وَ الْاَخِرُ فَلا بَعْدَکَ شَىْءٌ وَ الظّاهِرُ فَلا شَىْءَ

Thou art the First before Whom there was nothing, The last after Whom there will be nothing,

فَوْقَکَ وَ البْاطِنُ فَلا شَىْءَ دُونَکَ

The Manifest above Whom there is nothing, The Hidden beyond Whom there is nothing

نَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنَ الْفَلْسِ وَ الْکَسَلِ وَ عَذابِ الْقَبْرِ

We take refuge in Thee from bankruptcy, indolence, the pain of the grave,

وَ فِتْنَةِ الْغِنى و نَسْئَلُکَ الْفَوْزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ

and the temptation of sufficiency, and we ask Thee to reward us with paradise.

O Allah! Terminate our life in righteous deeds,

وَ حَقِّقْ بِفَضْلِکَ آمالَنا

trnsl

and in Thy grace make our wishes true,

وَ سَهِّلْ لِبُلُوغِ رِضاکَ سُبُلَنا

trnsl

and smooth our ways to reach Thy satisfaction,

وَ حَسِّنْ فِی جَمِیعِ الْاَحْوالِ اَعْمالَنا

trnsl

and in all states improve our deeds.

یا مُنْقِذَ الْغَرقى یا مُنجِىَ الْهَلْکى

trnsl

O Thou Who rescue the drowning and save the perishing,

یا شاهِدَ کُلِّ نَجْوى یا مُنْتَهى کُلِّ شَکْوى

trnsl

O Thou Who witness all whispers, and to Whom all complaints are made,

یا قَدِیمَ الاِْحْسانِ یا دائِمَ الْمَعْرُوفِ

trnsl

O Thou Whose bounty is ancient, and Whose beneficence is endless,

یا مَنْ لا غِنى بِشىْء عَنْهُ

trnsl

O Thou of Whom nothing can be independent,

وَ لابُدَّ لِکُلِّ شَىْء مِنْهُ

trnsl

and every thing is dependent on Thee,

یا مَنْ رِزْقُ کُلِّ شَىْء عَلَیْهِ وَ مَصِیرُ کُلِّ شَىْء اِلَیْهِ

trnsl

Who sustain all, and the return of every thing is to Thee.

اَلّلْهُمَّ اِنِّی عائِذٌ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما اَعْطَیْتَنا

trnsl

O Allah! I take refuge in Thee from the evil of what Thou hast bestowed on us,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما مَنَعْتَنا

trnsl

and the evil of what Thou hast prohibited for us.

اَلّلهُمَّ تَوَفَّنا مُسْلِمِینَ وَ اَلْحِقْنا بَالصّالِحِینَ

trnsl

O Allah! Make us die Muslims, and make us join the righteous,

غَیْرَ خَزایا وَ لا مَفْتُونینَ

neither disgraced nor tempted.

رَبِّ یَسِّرْ وَ لا تُعَسِّرْ رَبِّ اَتْمِمْ بِالْخَیْر

O Lord! Make our affairs easy not difficult. O Lord! End our affairs well.

TAQSIR /HALAQ It is recommended that the shaving commence from the front of the head and this supplication be said:

اللّهُمَّ أعْطِنی بِکُلِّ شَعْرَة نُوراً یَومَ الْقِیامَةِ

Allahumma aatinii bikulli shaaratin nuuran yawmalgiyamati.

(O Allah! grant me on the Day of Judgement light for every hair)..

After shaving of the head, some hair also be cut from the beard and moustache and nails be cut.The hair be buried in his tent in Mina if tqaseer is done for hajj after qurbani.

COURTESIES IN IHRAM DURING WUQUF AT ARAFAT
When one has worn the ihram for Hajj, and departed from Makkah, one must say the talbiyyah on the way but not in loud voice till one reaches Abtah when it must be recited aloud. When one notices Mina, one should say:

اللهم إياك أرجو، وإياك أدعو، فبلغني أملي، وأصلح لي عملي

"allahumma iyyaka arjuu waiyyaka aduu faballighni amalii aslih lii amalii."

(Translation: O Allah, I place all my hopes in You and supplicate to You. Fulfil my hopes and put my actions in order.)

On the way one must busy oneself doing tasbeeh and zikr of Allah and on arriving at Mina say the following dua:

الحمد لله الذي أقدمنيها صالحاً في عافية وبلغني هذا المكان

"allahumdulillahil-lazii aqda maniiha saalihan fii aafiyatin waballaghanii hadhal makana."

(Translation: All praise is due to Allah who brought me to Mina in sound health and reached me to this place.)

Then say:

اللهم وهذه منى ، وهي مما مننت به على أوليائك من المناسك ، فأسألك أن تصلي على محمد وآل محمد ، وأن تمن عليّ فيها بما مننت على اوليائك وأهل طاعتك فإنما أنا عبدك وفي قبضتك

"allahumma hadhihi minaa wahiya mimma mananta bihi alaina minal manasiki faasaluka an tamunna alaiyya bima mananta alaa anbiyaaika fainnama ana abduka wafii qabzatika."

O Allah, this is Mina where You have graced us with performance of ceremonies. I beseech You for the grace You have bestowed on Your Prophets, for I am one of Your servants and in Your power.)

It is recommended that the eve of Arafaat be spent in Mina in the worship of Allah, the High and its preferred form is prayers (salaat) in the mosque at Kheef. After dawn, one must continue in prayer till sunrise and then move to Arafaat. There is no objection in departing from Mina before sunrise. When one notices Arafaat, one should say:

اللَّهُمَّ إِيّاكَ صَمَدْتُ، وَإِيّاكَ اعتَمَدتُ، وَوَجهكَ أَرَدْتُ، أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لِي فِي رحْلَتِي، وَأَنْ تَقْضِي لِي حَاجَتِي، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي ممّن‏تُباهِي بِهِ اليوم مَنْ هُوَ أَفْضَلُ مِنِّي

"allahumma ilaika samadtu waiyyaka-atamadtu wawajhaka aradtu asaluka an tabarika lii fii rihlatii wataqziya lii haajatii waan tajaalanii mimman tubahii bihil yawma man huwa afzalu minnii"

O Allah, I turn to You, repose trust in You and seek Your pleasure. I beseech You to bless my journey, fulfil my wishes and include me among those superior to me whom You honour today.)

When one reaches Arafaat, one should recite the talbiyyah.

Similarly, there are many courtesis to be observed in Muzdalifah but we shall set out a few of them:
1. To proceed from Arafaat with serenity and solemnity seeking forgiveness and on approaching the red sand hill on the right, say :

اللّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ مَوْقِفِي وَزِدْ فِي عَمَلِي

Allahummarham mawqifii wazidfii amalii

O Allah! have mercy on me as I stand in Your audience in worship,

وَسَلِّمْ لِي دِينِي وَتَقَبَّلْ مَنَاسٍكِي

wasllim lii diinii wataqabbal minnii manasikii"

enrich my devotions, maintain my firmness in faith, and accept my performance of the rituals.

2. To move steadily.

3. To delay the recitation of the salaat until reaching Muzdalifah and combine the recitation of Maghrib and Isha with one adhan and two iqamah even though a third of the night has passed.

4. To descend into the valley on the road to the right near the Mash'ar and it is recommended to be on foot for those whose pilgrimage is the first one.

5. To remain awake during the night in prayer and supplication and say:

اللهُمّ هذِهِ جُمَعُ

O Allah of this gathering,

اللّهُمّ اِنّي أسْأَلُكَ أنْ تَجْمَعَ لِي فِيها جَوامِعَ الْخَيْرِ

trnsl

I ask You to gather for me in it a collection of goodness.

اللّهُمّ لا تُؤْيِسْني مِنَ الْخَيْرِ الّذي سَأَلْتُكَ

trnsl

O Allah! do not make me despair of the goodness which I asked You

أنْ تَجْمَعَهُ لِي في قَلْبي

trnsl

to accumulate in my heart.

‏وَأطْلُبُ اِلَيْكَ أنْ تُعَرّفَني ما عَرّفْتَ أوْلِياءَكَ

trnsl

I ask You to grant me the knowledge of this place which You granted to Your chosen ones

في مَنْزِلِي هذا وَأنْ تَقِيَني جَوامِعَ الشّرّ

trnsl

and guard me against the assembly of evils

6. To remain in state of taharah, saying prayer, praising Allah, remembering Him and His greatness as much as possible, and praying for the Holy Prophet and his progeny, and then say:

اللّهُمَّ رَبَّ المَشْعَرِ الحَرَامِ فُكَّ رَقَبَتي مِنَ النَّارِ

O Allah of the Holy Mash'ar, save my neck from the fire of Hell,

وَأوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ من رزقكَ الحَلالِ الطَّيِّبِ

increase my lawful sustenance

وَادْرَأ عَنِّي شَرَّ فَسَقةِ الجِنِّ والإنْسِ

trnsl

and keep me away from the harm of the evil from the jinn and mankind.

اللّهُمَّ أَنْتَ خَيرُ مَطلُوبٍ إلَيهِ

trnsl

O Allah, You are the best from whom to seek,

وخَيرُ مَدعُوٍّ وخَيرُ مَسؤولٍ

trnsl

the best to whom one can be invited and the best to be supplicated.

وَلِكُلِّ وافِدٍ جَائِزَةٌ

trnsl

There is a reward for every visitor and in this place,

فاجْعَلْ جَائزَتِي فِي مَوضِعي هَذا أَنْ تُقيْلَني عَثرَتِي

trnsl

I seek that my reward be that You forgive my slips,

وتَقْبَلَ مَعْذِرَتِي وأنْ تَتَجَاوَزَ عَن خَطِيئَتِي

trnsl

accept my plea, forgive my sins

ثُمَّ اجْعَلْ التَّقوَى مِنَ الدُّنيا زَادي

trnsl

and then make piety my provision from this world.

7. Collect seventy pebbles in Muzdalifah for throwing at jamaraat.

8.Confess your sins, do istighfar 7 times and on reaching Wadi-e-Mohasaar increase the speed of vehicle (or any means of transport being used) and as at Harwalla recite the following

اللّهُمَّ سَلِّمْ عَهدي، واقبَلْ تَوْبَتِي وَأَجِبْ دَعوَتِي، واخْلُفني فِيمنْ تَرَكْتُ بَعدِي رَبّ اغفِرْ وَارْحَمْ، وتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعلَمْ إنَّكَ أَنْتَ الأعَزُّ الأكْرَمُ

"allahuma sallim ahadii waaaqbal tawbatii waajib daawatii waakhlufnii filman taraktu baadii- rabbighfir waarham watajaawaz amma taalamu innaaka antal aazzul akram"

O Allah, protect for me my covenant, accept my repentance, answer my wishes and look after those I leave behind.)

COURTESIES OF RAMI THE JAMARAT
Of the recommended acts during rami are:
1. One should be in a state of taharah (cleanliness) while performing rami (throwing pebbles).
2. While taking the stones in hand, one should say:

اللّهُمَّ هذِهِ حَصَیَاتی فَاَحْصِهِنَّ لی وَ ارفَعْهُنَّ فی عَمَلِی

"allahumma hadhihi hasayaatii faahsihinna lii waarfaahunna fiiamalii"

(Translation: O Allah! take into account my stones and elevate my act of worship)

3. While throwing each pebble, say:

اَللّهُ اَکْبَرُ، اَللّهُمَّ ادْحَرْ عَنِّی الشَّیْطانَ، اَللّهُمَّ تَصْدِیقاً بِکِتابِکَ وَ عَلى سُنَّةِ نَبِیِّکَ مُحَمَّد صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ آلِهِ، اَللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لِی حَجّاً مَبْرُوراً، وَ عَمَلاً مقْبُولاً، وَ سَعْیاً مَشْکُوراً، وَ ذَنْباً مَغْفُوراً

"allahu akber. allahumadhar annii-sshaitaana allahumma tasdiiqan bikitaabika waalaa sunnati nabiyyika muhammadin sallallahu alaihi waalihi. alahummajalhu lii hajjan mabruuran waamalan maqbuulan wassayan mashkuuran wadhanban maghfurah"

Allah is great, O Allah! drive away Satan from me. O Allah! I believe in Your book as true and the tradition of Your Prophet. O Allah! accept my Hajj, my acts and my devotions, and forgive my sins)

4. Throw the stones at Jamrat-ul-Aqabah from the distance of ten to fifteen steps.
5. While throwing the stones at Jamrat-ul-Aqabah, face it with the back to the qiblah but throw the stones at the First and Middle, facing the qiblah.
6. Place the pebble on the rear of the thumb and push it with the nail of the index finger.
7. When back in Mina, say

اللّهُمَّ بِکَ وَثِقْتُ، وَ عَلَیْکَ تَوَکَّلْتُ، فَنِعْمَ الرَّبُّ، وَ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلى، وَ نِعْمَ النَّصیرُ

"allhumma bika wasiqtu waalaika tawakkaltu fainamma-rrabuu waniamal mawla waniamannasir"

O Allah! my faith and trust is in You and You are the best Sustainer, Master and Helper)

Dua for Qurbani

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Bismillah hir rahmanir rahim

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

وَجّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلّذِي فَطَرَ السّماواتِ وَالْاَرْضَ

Wajjahtu wajhiya lillazii fatarrassamawaati wal arzi

I turn my attention towards the One who has created the heavens and the earth

حَنِيفاً مُسْلِماً وَما أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكينَ

haniifan musliman wamaa ana minal mushrikiin

as a true believer and a Muslim; and I am not among the polytheists,

اِنّ صَلاتِي وَنُسُكي وَمَحْيايَ وَمَمَاتِي للهِ رَبّ ‏الْعالَمِينَ

inna salaatii wanuskii wanagyaaya wananatii lillahi rabbil aalamin

My prayer, hady, life and death are for Allah, the Sustainer of the worlds.

لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذلِكَ اُمِرْتُ وَأنا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

laa shariika lahu wabidhalika umirtu waana minal muslimiin.

He has no partner and so have I been ordered and I am of those who have submitted to You.

اللّهُمّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ بِسْمِ اللهِ وَاللهُ أكْبَرُ

Allahumma minka walaka bismillahi wabillahi wallahu akber.

O Allah all this is from and for You. I commence in the Name of Allah and Allah is great.

أللّهُمّ تَقَبّلْ مِنّي

allahuma taqabbal minni

O Allah! accept my devotions.

Returning to Mecca

On returning to Mecca for performing Tawaf of Hajj (after completing amals of Mina) recite the following dua at the door Masjid-ul-Haram :

اَللّهُمَّ أَعِنِّی عَلى نُسُکِکَ

Allahumma ainii alaa nusukii

O Allah! help me to worship You;

وَ سَلِّمْنِی لَهُ وَسَلِّمْهُ لِی

wasallimnii lahu wasallimhu lii

save me for it and save it for me.

أَسْأَلُکَ مَسْأَلَةَ الْعَلِیلِ الذَّلِیلِ الْمُعْتَرِفِ بِذَنْبِهِ

asaluka masalatal aliili-ddhalili muatarifi bidhanbihi

I ask You as a weak, lowly person confessing his sins,

أَنْ تَغْفِرَلِی ذُنُوبی وَ أَنْ تُرْجِعَنِی بِحاجَتِی

an taghfiralii dhunubii waan tarjianii bihaajatii.

forgive my sins and grant my wishes.

اَللّهُمَّ إنِّی عَبْدُکَ وَالْبَلَدُ بَلَدُکَ

Allahuma inii abduka walbaladu baladuka

O Allah! I am Your servant; the land is Yours

وَالْبَیْتُ بَیْتُکَ جِئْتُ أَطْلُبُ رَحْمَتَکَ

walbaitu baituka jiata atlubu rahmataka

and the House too. I have come asking for Your mercy

وَ أَؤُمُّ طاعَتَکَ مُتَّبِعاً لاَِمْرِکَ راضِیاً بِقَدَرَکَ

waaummu taataka muttabian liamrika raziyan biqadrika

and to be obedient to You. I submit to your ordinance and am pleased with what You have destined.

أَسْأَلُکَ مَسْأَلَةَ الْمُضْطَرِّ اِلَیْکَ

asaluka masalatal muztarri ilaika

I ask You as a distressed person,

اَلْمُطِیعِ لاَِمْرِکَ اَلْمُشْفِقِ مِنْ عَذابِکَ

almutiie liamrikal mushfiqi min adhabikal

obedient to Your orders, apprehensive of Your torments,

اَلْخائِفِ لِعُقُوبَتِکَ أَنْ تُبَلِّغَنِی عَفْوَکَ

khaaifi liuqubatika an tuballighanii afwaka

fearful of Your punishment, me to Your forgiveness

وَ تُجِیرَنِی مِنَ النّارِ بِرَحْمَتِک

watujiiranii minannari birahmatika.

and spare me Hell fire by Your mercy.
