Dua Iftitah





Du' al-Iftitah was taught by the Imam Mahdi (ajtfs) to recite every night during the month Ramadhan.

The Du'a is excellent for molding man's attitude towards his Creator, as it discusses many aspects of the wretchedness of the human being, and the grace of Allah (swt).

O Allah, I begin the glorification of You with praising You

allahumma inni aftatihu alththana'a bihamdika
O Allah, I begin the glorification of You with praising You
وَانْتَ مُسَدِّدٌ لِلصَّوَابِ بِمَنِّكَ
wa anta musaddidun lillssawabi bimannika
and You always guide us to the right out of Your favors upon us.
وَايْقَنْتُ انَّكَ انْتَ ارْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ
wa ayqantu annaka anta arhamu alrrahimina
I am certain that You are the most Merciful of all those who show mercy
فِي مَوْضِعِ ٱلْعَفْوِ وَٱلرَّحْمَةِ
fi mawdi`i al`afwi wallrrahmati
in situations of pardon and mercy,
وَاشَدُّ ٱلْمُعَاقِبِينَ
wa ashaddu almu`aqibina
the harshest in punishments

Dogs

Birds

Rabbits

Rabbits can learn to follow simple voice commands and come when called by name, and are curious and playful.
