Dua to combat Black Magic
He who confirms the statement of a soothsayer, Magician or fortune teller, is a disbeliever of what has been revealed to the Holy Prophet (sawa) Allah (swt) is the Knower of the manifest and of the Unseen, none else can know the Unseen - Holy Prophet (sawa).

Recite the following du-a'a to cure headache and remove the evil effects of black magic When recited for headache blow the breach on the forehead after recitation.

اَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّۃِ اللهِ

A-O'od'u Bi-I'zzatillaahi

[I take refuge (to seek protection from the evil threatening me)

وَ قُدْرَۃِ اللهِ

Wa Qudratillaahi

with the might of Allah,

وَ قُوَّۃِ اللهِ

Wa Quwwatillaahi

the power of Allah,

وَ عَظَمَۃِ اللهِ

Wa A'z'matillaahi

the strength of Allah,

وَ بُرْہَانِ اللهِ

Wa Burhaanilllaahi

the greatness of Allah,

وَ سُلْطَانِ اللهِ

Wa Sult'aanillaahi

the demonstration of Allah,

وَ کَنَفِ اللهِ

Wa Kanafillaahi

the sovereignty of Allah,

وَ جَوَارِ اللهِ

Wa Jawaarillaahi

the assistance of Allah,

وَ اَمَانِ اللهِ

Wa Amaanillaahi

the security of Allah,

وَ حِرْزِ اللهِ

Wa H'irzillaahi

the amnesty of Allah,

وَ سُنْعِ اللهِ

Wa S'un-Illaahi

the shield of Allah,

وَ کِبْرِیَآئِ اللهِ

Wa Kibriyaa-Illaahi

the kindness of Allah,

وَ نَظَرِ اللهِ

Wa Naz'arillaahi

the pride of Allah,

وَ بَہَائِ اللهِ و

Wa Bahaa-Illaahi

the attention of Allah,

َ جَلاَلِ اللهِ

Wa Jalaalillaahi

the beauty of Allah,

وَ کَمَالِ اللهِ

Wa Kamaalillaahi

the grandeur of Allah,

وَ جَمَالِ اللهِ

Wa Jamaalillaahi

the perfection of Allah

لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اللهُ

Laa Ilaaha Illallaahu

there is no god save Allah

مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اَجِدُ.

Muh'ammadun Rasoolullaahi Min Sharri Ma Ajidu

and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah]

Recite the following dua'a to remain safe from the evil of shaytan, genie, and wicked person.

لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ ہُوَ عَلَیْہِ

Laa Ilaaha Illaa Huwa A'layhi

[There is no god save He.

تَوَکَّلْتُ وَ ہُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ

Tawakkaltu Wa Huwa Rabbul A'rshil A'z'eem

I rely on Him. He is the Lord of the great a'rsh.

مَا شَآئَ اللهُ کَانَ

Maa Shaa-Allaahu Kaana

What He wills takes place;

وَ مَا لَمْ یَشَآئَ لَمْ یَکُنْ

Wa Maa Lam Yashaa Lam Yakun

and what He does not will does not take place.

اَشْہَدُ اَنَّ اللهَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْر

Ashhadu Annallaaha A'laa Kulli Shay-In Qadeer

I bear witness that, verily, Allah, has power over all things:

وَ اَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ اَحَاطَ بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ عِلْمًا

Wa Annallaaha Qad Ah'aat'a Bikulli Shay-In Ilmaa

and, verily, Allah encompasses every thing in (His) knowledge,

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِیْ

Allaahumma Innee A-O'od'u Bika Min Sharri Nafsee

O my Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil inside me

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ کُلِّ دَابَّۃٍ

Wa Min Sharri Kulli Daabbatin

and from the evil of every creature

َنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاسِیَتِہَا

ا Anta Aakhid'um Binaas'iyatihaa

whom You seizes with its forelock.

اِنَّ رَبِّ عَلٰی صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِیْمٍ.

Inna Rabbee A'laa S'iraat'im Mustaqeem

Verily my lord is on the right path]

The Holy Prophet said : To keep the devils at bay and to destroy the effects of magic recite verses 54 to 56 of Al Araf.

اِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللہُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ فِيْ سِـتَّۃِ اَيَّامٍ

Inna Rabbakumullaahul Lad'ee Khalaqas Samaawaati Wal Arz'a Fee Sittati Ayyaamin

[Verily your Lord is Allah who created the heavens and the earth in six days,

ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَي الْعَرْشِ۝۰ۣ

Thumas-Tawaa A'lal A'rsh

then established Himself on the throne.

يُغْشِي الَّيْلَ النَّہَارَ يَطْلُبُہٗ حَثِيْثًا۝۰ۙ

Yughshil Laylan Nahaara Yat'lubuhoo H'atheethaw

He draws the night as a veil over the day, which pursues it incessantly;

وَّالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُوْمَ

Wash Shamsa Wal Qamara Wan Najooma

and made the sun and the moon and the stars subservient to His command.

مُسَخَّرٰتٍؚبِاَمْرِہٖ۝۰ۭ

Musakhkharaatim Bi Amrih

Verily, His is the creation and the command.

اَلَا لَہُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْاَمْرُ۝۰ۭ

Alaa Lahul Khalqu Wal Amr

Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

تَبٰرَكَ اللہُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ۝۵۴

Tabaarakallaahu Rabbul A'alameen

Call on your Lord humbly and in secret.

اُدْعُوْا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَّخُفْيَۃً۝۰ۭ

Ud-O'o Rabbakum Taz'arru-A'w Wa Khufyah

Verily Allah does not love the transgressors.

اِنَّہٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِيْنَ۝۵۵ۚ

Innahoo Laa Yuh'ibbul Mu'tadeen

And do not make mischief in the earth after it has been reformed;

وَلَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِي الْاَرْضِ بَعْدَ اِصْلَاحِہَا وَادْعُوْہُ خَوْفًا وَّطَمَعًا۝۰ۭ ۳۵

Wa Laa Tufsidoo Fil Arz'i Ba-Da Is'laah'ihaa Wad-O-Ohu Khawfaw

and call on Him fearing (His wrath) and longing (his mercy).

اِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللہِ قَرِيْبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِـنِيْنَ۝۵۶

Wa T'ama-A'a Inna Rah'matallaahi Qareebum Minal Muh'sineen

Verily the mercy of Allah is near to those who do good]

Recite verse 35 of al Qasas 7 times after the salat of tahajjud to destroy the effects of witchcraft

قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِاَخِيْكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطٰنًا

Qaala Sanashuddu A'z'udaka Bi-Akheeka Wa Naj-A'lu Lakumaa Sult'aanan

[(Allah) said : "We will strengthen your arm with your brother and we will give you such authority

فَلَا يَصِلُوْنَ اِلَيْكُمَا۝۰ۚۛ بِاٰيٰتِنَآ۝۰ۚۛ

Falaa Yas'iloona Ilaykumaa Bi-Aayaatinaaa Antumaa

that they will not be able to touch and of you.

اَنْتُـمَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكُمَا الْغٰلِبُوْنَ۝

Wa Manit Taba-A'kumal Ghaaliboon

With our signs, both of you and your followers shall certainly triumph"]

Imam Ali bin Husayn Zayn al Abidin said : Recite the following du'a'a with raised hands to remain safe from these (jinn or men) who are planning to harm you.

Bismillaahi Wa Billaahi

[In The Name Of Allah, With Allah,

Wa Minallaahi Wa Ilallaahi

From Allah, Unto Allah,

Wa Fee Sabeelillaahi

And In The Way Of Allah;

Allahumma Laka Aslamtu Nafsee

O Allah, I Surrender Myself To You,

Wa Ilayka Wajjahtu Wajhee

I Direct Myself Towards You,

Wa Ilayka Fawwaz'tu Amree

I Entrust My Affairs To You,

Wah'fiz'nee Bih'ifz'il Beemaani

So Keep Me Safe, With The Preservation Of Belief,

Min Bayni Yadayya

From In Front Of Me, From Behind Me,

Wa Min Khalfee Wa A'n Yameenee

From My Right Side, From My Left Side,

Wa A'n Shimaalee Wa Min Fawqee

From Above Me, From Below Me, And

Wa Min Tah'tee Wad-Fa A'nnee Bih'awlika

Repel (Evil) From Me With Your Strength And Power,

Wa Quwwatika Fa-Innahoo

Because, Verily, There Is No Strength And No Power

Laa H'awla Wa Laa Quwwata Illa Billaahil A'liyyil A'zeem

Save With Allah, The High, The Great]

The Holy Prophet said : If jinn throw stones at your home, take one of the stones and recite the following du a'a. Inshallah the jinn will go away :

حَسْبِیَ اللهُ وَ کَفٰی

H'asbiyallaahu Wa Kafaa

[Allah Is Sufficient And Satisfying For Me.

سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ دَعَا

Sami-A'llaahu Liman Da-A'a

Allah Hears (The Call Of) Whosoever Calls (Him).

لَیْسَ وَرَآئَ اللهِ مُنْتَہٰی

Laysa Waraa - A'llaahi Muntahaa

There Is No One (And Nothing) As The Ultimate Save Allah]

Recite the following dua'a

Allaahumma Inee As-Aluka Bih'aqqi Muh'ammadin Wa Aali Muhammadin

[O My Allah, I Beseech You In The Name Of The Rights Of Muhammad And The Children Of Muhammad

An Tus'alliya A'laa Muh'ammadin Wa Aali Muh'ammadin Wa An Tunjiyanee

To Send Blessings On Muhammad And On The Children Of Muhammad And Free Me (From Whatever Affliction That Has Surrounded Me)]

Recite the following prayer after every obligatory salat to cure any type of pain or illness

اِلٰہِیْ کُلَّمَا اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیَّ نِعْمَۃً

Ilaahee Kullamaa An-Amta A'layya Ni-Matan

[O My God; When You Gave Me Any Bounty,

قَلَّ لَکَ عِنْدَہَا شُکْرِ

Qalla Laka I'ndahaa Shukree

I Did Not Thank You As I Should Have;

وَ کُلَّ مَبْتَلَیْتَنِیْ بِبَلِیَّۃٍ

Wa Kullamab-Talaytanee Bi-Baliyyatin

Whenever You Tested Me With A Trial

قَلَّ لَکَ عِنْدَہَا صَبْرِیْ

Qalla Laka I'ndahaa S'abree

I Did Not Manage It With The Patience I Should Have.

فَیَا مَنْ قَلَّ شُکْرِیْ عِنْدَ نِعْمَۃٍ فَلَمْ یَحْرِمْنِیْ

Fayaa Man Qalla Shukree I'nda Ni'-Matin Falam Yah'rimnee

O He Who Did Not Deprive Me Of (Favour) Inspite Of My Too Little Thanks.

وَ یَا مَنْ قَلَّ صَبْرِیْ عِنْدَ بَلِیَّۃٍ فَلَمْ یَخْذُلْنِیْ

Wa Yaa Man Qalla S'abree I'nda Baliyyatin Falam Yakhd'ulnee

O He Who Did Not Withhold Assistance Inspite Of My Very Deficient Self Control.

وَ یَا مَنْ رَانِیْ عَلَی الْمَعَاصِیْ فَلَمْ یَفْضَحْنِیْ

Wa Yaa Man Raanee A'lal Ma-A'as'ee Falam Yafz'ah'nee

O He Who Saw My Wrongdoings Yet Did Not Disgrace Me:

وَ یَا مَنْ رَانِیْ عَلَی الْخَطَایَا فَلَمْ یَقِبْنِیْ عَلَیْہَا

Wa Yaa Man Raanee A'lal Khat'aayaa Falam Ya'qibnee A'layhaa

O He Who Saw My Shortcomings Yet Did Not Punish Me;

صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

S'alli A'laa Muh'ammadin Wa Aali Muh'ammadin

Send Blessings On Muhammad And On The Children Of Muhammad,

وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ ذَنْبِیْ وَاشْفِعْنِیْ مِنْ مَرَضِیْ

Waghfir Lee D'anbee Washfinee Min Maraz'ee

Forgive My Sins, Cure My Diseases; Verily,

اِنَّکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ.

Innaka A'laa Kulli Shay-In Qadeer

You Have Power Over All Things.]

Recite the following prayer after every obligatory salat to driver away misfortunes and afflictions.

یَا حَیُّ یَا قَیُّوْمُ

Yaa H'ayyu Yaa Qayyoom

[O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting,

بِرَحْمَتِکَ اسْتَغِیْثُ فَاَغِثْنِیْ

Birah'matikas-Tagheethu Fa-Aghithnee

I Beseech (You) In The Name Of Your Mercy To Help Me.

وَ لاَ تَکِلْنِیْ اِلٰی نَفْسِیْ تَرْفَۃَ عَیْنٍ اَبَدً

Wa Laa Takilnee Ilaa Nafsee Turfata A'ynin Abadan

So Help Me And Do Not Leave Me To Myself Even For The Flash Of An Eye(Without You Being With Me),

ا وَ اَصْلِحْ لِیْ شَأْنِیْ کُلَّہٗ.

Wa As'lih Lee Shaanee Kullahoo

And Look After Properly All My Affairs.]

TAWID OF IMAM HASAN BIN ALI
Whosoever recites the following prayer after every obligatory salat, or keeps its written text on the body, inshallah, he, his family and property will remain safe under the divine protection.

اُعِیْذُ نَفْسِیْ وَ ذُرِّیَّتِیْ وَ اَہْلَ بَیْتِیْ وَ مَالِیْ

U-E'edu Nafsee Wa D'urriyyatee Wa Ahla Baytee Wa Maalee

[I Put Myself, My Children, My Family, My Property

بِکَلِمَۃِ اللهِ التَّامَّۃِ

Bikalimatillaahit Taaammati

Under (Allah's Protection ) In The Name Of Allah's Perfected Words,

مِنْ کُلِّ شَیْطَانٍ

Min Kulli Shayt'aanin

From All Devils, Poisonous Animals,

وَ ہَامَّۃٍ وَ مِنْ کُلِّ عَیْنٍ لاَمَّۃٍ۔

Wa baammatin Wa Min Kulli A'ynin Laammatin

And From Every Evil Eye.]

Imam Ali Ibn abi Talib said : Whoever keeps the following du-a'a written on skin of a deer, shall remain safe from the influence of any magic.Sahifa 48

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.

BISMIL LAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ

Bismillaahi Wa Billaahi

In the name of Allah and with Allah

بِسْمِ اللهِ مَا شَآءَ اللهُ

Bismillaahi Wa Maa Shaaa-Allaahu

in the name of Allah-that which Allah wills (takes place)

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ

Bismillaahi Wa Laa Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billaah

in the name of Allah- there is no power nor strength save with Allah.

قَالَ مُوْسٰى مَا جِئْتُمْ بِہِ۝۰ۙ السِّحْرُ۝۰ۭ

Qaala Moosaa Maa Ji-Tum Bihis Sih'r

Musa said : What you have brought is sorcery;

اِنَّ اللہَ سَيُبْطِلُہٗ۝۰ۭ

Innallaaha Sayubt'iluh

verily Allah will soon make it vain:

اِنَّ اللہَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِيْنَ۝۸۱

Innallaaha Laa Yus'lih'u A'malal Mufsideen

verily Allah does not put in order the work of the mischief-makers.

وَ يُحِقُّ اللہُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِہٖ وَ لَوْ كَرِہَ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ۝۸۲ۧ

Wa Yohiqqul Laahul Haqqa Bekalemaatehi Wa Law Karehal Mujremoon

And Allah will show the truth to be the truth by His words, though the guilty may be averse (to it).

فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَ بَطَلَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ۝

Fawaqa-A'l H'aqqu Wa Bat'ala Maa Kanoo Ya'-Maloon

Thus the truth was established, and what they were doing was made vain.

۱۱۸ۚ فَغُلِبُوْا ہُنَالِكَ وَ انْقَلَبُوْا صٰغِرِيْنَ۝۱۱۹ۚ

Faghuliboo Hunaa Lika Wanqalaboo S'aaghireen

So there and then (Firawn and his enchanters) were defeated and made to look small, humiliated]

Another Translation
In the Name of Allah, and by Allah; in the Name of Allah, and what Allah wills. In the Name of Allah, there is no might or power except with Allah. Moosa said to them: What you have brought is deception; surely Allah will make it naught; surely Allah does not make the work of mischief-makers to thrive. And Allah will show the truth to be the truth by His words, though the guilty may be averse (to it). So the truth was established, and what they did became null. Thus they were vanquished there, and they went back abased. Image

A scholar of Najaf al Ashraf, well versed in ilm jafr (the art of making amulets or charms said to originate with Imam Jafar bin Muhammad as Sadiq, based upon art of divining from certain characters written by Imam Ali ibn abi Talib upon a camel's skin which contains all events, past, present and future) had advised the parents of an insane boy to recite the following du-a'a to remove the effects of witchcraft. They did as advised and their son was fully cured. This du'a' according to the scholar, is also a sure safeguard against witchcraft and sorcery:
