Within the recommended rites on Fridays, Shaykh al-usi, in his book of Mibh al-Mutahajjid, has mentioned the following:
A group of our companions have reported on the authority of Abul-Mufaal al-Shaybni that Abu-Muhammad `Abdullh ibn Muhammad al-`bid related to them in al-Dliyah, saying: In the year 255, I asked my master Imam al-asan al-`Askari, peace be upon him, in his house in Surra-Man-Ra' (Smarr') to dictate to me an invocation of blessings upon the Prophet and his Successors, peace be upon him and them, after I had brought with me a big sheet of paper. The Imam (`a) dictated to me orally, saying: Write down the following:
|

				 allhumma alli `al muhammadin |

O Allah, (please) bless Muhammad |

|

				 kam hamala wahyaka |

as he bore Your revelations |

|

				 wa ballagha risltika |

				 and conveyed Your messages. |

|

				 wa alli `al muhammadin |

				 And (please) bless Muhammad |

|

				 kam ahalla hallaka |

as he declared lawful that which You deemed lawful, |

|

				 wa harrama harmaka |

forbade that which You deemed unlawful, |

|

				 wa `allama kitbaka |

and taught Your Book (to people). |

|

				 wa alli `al muhammadin |

				 And (please) bless Muhammad |

|

|

				 wa t alzzakta |

				 defrayed the poor-rate, |

|

and called to Your religion. |

|

				 wa alli `al muhammadin |

				 And (please) bless Muhammad |

|

				 kam addaqa biwa`dika |

for he gave credence to Your promise |

|

				 wa ashfaqa min wa`idika |

				 and feared Your threat. |

|

				 wa alli `al muhammadin |

				 And (please) bless Muhammad |

|

The reporter, Abu-Muhammad al-Yamni, said: When it was the turn of the invocation of blessings upon him, Imam al-asan al-`Askari (`a) stopped. However, this is the religion. You may write down:
