Send Your blessings on Muhammad and his family and grant us and (grant all) the believing men and believing women in the east of the Earth and the west of if (the Earth) deliverance from Yourself, speedily (in this world), with the bearing witness that there is no god except Allah and verily Muhammad is Your slave and Your Prophet, blessings of Allah be upon him and upon his family and upon his children, the righteous and pure, and send salutations (upon them), an appropriate salutation in multitude. O' Allah! Verily we turn to You and verily we call upon You, so help me to reach my hopes and desires and make my actions righteous. |

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and the
Lord of the great Throne. O our Lord and the Lord of everything,
revealer of the Taurat, Injeel and Furqan, splitter of the seed and
grain. I seek your refuge from everything, whose control is in your
hands. You are the first, there is nothing before
You; and You are the last and there is nothing after You. You are
the apparent and there is nothing above You; and You are the
concealed and there is nothing nearer than You, facilitate the
repayment of my debt and make me needless from poverty. |
It is narrated that a person remained under hardships
of imprisonment in Shaam for a period of time till he had a dream that Lady
Fatima Zahra (s.a.) was saying: Recite this supplication, which when he
recited after learning, he was freed from the prison.

and the one, who raised it, and by the right of revelation and by
one, who sent; and by the right of the Prophet and one, who made him
a prophet; and by the right of Kaaba and one, who made it. O one,
who listens to every voice. O one, who gathers all that are lost. O
one, who revives the souls after death, bless Muhammad and his Ahle
Bayt and grant from your side to me and the believer men and women
of the east and the west of the world immediate tranquility and
peace. I adjure by the right of ‘there is no god, except Allah and
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’. May Allah have mercy on
Muhammad and his purified progeny and convey my salutation to them
in excess. |

It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari that the
Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) taught Ali and Fatima and told them: When some
hardship befalls you or there is fear of the tyranny of the ruler or
something is lost, perform a proper ablution and pray two units of Prayer,
then raise your hands to the heavens and recite:

O knower of the unseen and the secrets, O
one, worthy of obedience and the most knowing, O Allah, O Allah, O
Allah, O one, who defeated all the parties for Muhammad (s.a.w.a.),
O one, who took revenge of Musa from Firon. O one, who saved Isa
from the oppressors. O One, who saved the people of Nuh from
drowning. O one, who had mercy on His servant, Yaqub. O one, who
dispelled the troubles of Ayyub. O one, who gave relief to Yunus
from the darknesses. O the doer of every good. O the guide to every
good. O one, who shows the way to every good. O, one who commands
every good. O creator of every good. O owner of all the good. You
are that Allah, towards whom I have turned in the issues that You
know well. As You are the knower of all the unseen. I beseech You to
send mercy on Muhammad and progeny of Muhammad… |
…after that mention your needs, they would be granted,
if Allah wills.
