A’amaal for 13, 14 & 15(Ayyaam-e-Baydh) The Luminous days of Rajab, Also Shaa’-baan and Ramadhan months

13^th, 14^th and 15^th of Rajab, Shaa’-baan and Ramzan are know as “Ayyaam-e-Beez” (the days of surpassing splendor) . Imam Jafar bin Muhammad As Sadiq (as) had said: " Whoso prays during the nights of “Ayyam Bayz”, in fact, stands at the door of superabundant favours, bounties and benefits available in these months"

It is highly desirable to observe fast on 13, 14 and 15, have a bath each day, and give alms in the way of Allah.

In the night of “Ayyam Bayz” pray a 12 Rak-a’t Salat /Namaz as under

(i) In the night of the 13^th pray 2 Rak-a’t:

In each Rak-a’t recite Surah Al Fatih’ah, Surah Al Yaa Seen, Surah Al Mulk & Sura Ikhlass.

(ii) In the night of the 14^th pray 4 Rak-a’t: in 2 sets of 2 2 Rak-a’t, each exactly as (i),

(iii) In the night of the 15^th pray 6 Rak-a’t: in 3 sets of 2 of 2 Rak-a’t, each exactly as (i),

Recite Special 15 Rajab Ziarat of Imam Hussain (as) & Common Ziarat of Imam for 1st & 15th

Sayyid IbnTawus has narrated this prayer in this form from Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq On the fifteenth night of Rajab, you may offer a twelve-unit prayer in each unit of which you may recite ;Surah Fatihah ,Surah Ikhlass, al-Falaq, al-Naas, and Ayah al-Kursi & Surah Qadr all four times each.

After that, repeat the following four times: ALLAAHU ALLAAHU RABBEE LAA USHRIKU BIHEE SHAY-AN WA LAA ATTAKHID’U MIN DOONIHEE WALIYYAA

Allah, Allah is my Lord.	all¡hu all¡hu rabb¢	اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي
I do not associate anyone with Him	l¡ ushriku bih¢ shay'an	لاَ اشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئاً
and I do not betake any Master other than Him.	wa l¡ attakhidhu min d£nih¢ waliyyan	وَلاَ اتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِ وَلِيّاً

Short Method of another Salaat

Recite 12 Rakat ;Salat 2 units X 6 salat ,with Al Fatiha &Any Sura in each Rakat ,

After Salaat recite all these Suras 4 times each :-

Soorah Al Faatih’ah , Soorah Al Ikhlaas , Soorah Al Falaq , Soorah Al Kaafiroon , Soorah Al Naas , Soorah Al Qadr

then Recite 4 times: Aayaatul Kursee & then Tasbihaat ul Arbaa’

All glory be to Allah,	sub¦¡na all¡hi	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ
all praise be to Allah,	wal¦amdu lill¡hi	وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
there is no god save Allah,	wa l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu	وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
and Allah is the Greatest.	wall¡hu akbaru	وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ

then

Allah, Allah is my Lord.	all¡hu all¡hu rabb¢	اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي
I do not associate anyone with Him.	l¡ ushriku bih¢ shay'an	لاَ اشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئاً
Only shall that which Allah wills happen.	wa m¡ sh¡'a all¡hu	وَمَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ
There is no power save with Allah, the Most High, the All-great.	l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi al`aliyyi al`a¨¢mi	لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Allah! Allah! My Lord! I associate not anything with Him. I choose no protecting friend beside Him. That which Allah wills (come to pass). There is no might and no strength save in Allah, the Highest, the Almighty

(iii) The 6 rakat ( 2 X 3 ) salat mentioned above with Sura Fatiha , Sura Yasin, Sura Mulk & Sura Ikhlass once in each rakat

(i) Salaat of Salman Farsi. A 10 Rakat Salat :-Recite in 5 sets of 2 rakat each. In every Rakat recite Sura Faatihah , once , Sura Ikhlaas 3 times & Sura Kafiroon 3times. Click here for 3 column format

Then after each salaam raise both your hands towards the sky & recite

There is no god save Allah, no one other than him; sovereignty belongs to HIM .all praise is for HIM alone, gives life, puts to death,(because) HE is ever living ,Immortal; in His hand is the good He is able to do all things

لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

LAA ILAAHA ILLALAAHU WAH’DAHOO LAA SHAREEKA LAHOO LAHUL MULKU WA LAHUL H’AMDU YUHY’EE WA YUMEETU WA HUWA H’AYYUN LAA YAMOOTU BI YADIHIL KHAYR WA HUWA A’LAA KULLI SHAY-IN QADEER

Then say:

The Lord Who is One, One and Only, Singular, and Besought by the all He has betaken neither a wife nor a son

إلهاً وَاحِداً أَحَداً فَرْداً صَمَدا لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَلا وَلَداً.ً،

ILAAHAN WH’IDAN AH’ADAN FARDAN S’AMADAA LAM YATTAKHID’ S’AAH’IBATAN WA LAA WALADAA

Then spread your hands over your face

(ii) Recite Special 15 Rajab Ziarat of Imam Hussain(as) & common Ziarat of Imam for 1st & 15th

(iii) Pray 4 Rak-a’t Salaat in 2 sets of 2 Rak-a’t each. 3 column format

O my Allah! O He who puts the proud tyrants to shame! O He who glorifies the faithfuls! Thou was my choice at once when I came across many schools of thought (religions), Thou brought me into existence, a favour to me, though Thou was able to dispense with my creation, not needing me at all.

If not for Thy mercy I am of those who perish. Thou makes available reliable support to have an upper hand over my adversaries. If not for Thy help I am of those who shatter and break into pieces.

O He who sends forth mercy from its permanent self-generating origin, and brings out blessing from its depository.

O He who has reserved for Himself that which is the highest, and the loftiest, so His intimate friends, on account of His might, vie in honour and glory. O He before whom bend low the rulers, their necks burdened with the yoke of disgrace and abasement, panic-stricken, scared stiff, in awe of His absolute power.

I beseech Thee in the name of Thy Supreme Being that derives its meaning from Thy timeless eternal greatness, I beseech Thee in the name Thy timeless eternal Greatness that derives its meaning from Thy omnipotent authority; I beseech Thee in the name of Thy omnipotent authority with which Thou occupied the Arsh, and created all that which has been created by Thee; so they, unto Thee, are very obedient, to send blessing on Muhammad and on the people of his house.

15th Rajab is also the Death Aniversary of Lady Zainub (as) daughter of Imam Ali(as) & sister of Imam Hussain (as) Recite Ziarat

Second: It is also recommended to visit the holy shrine of Imam al-°usayn (`a) on this day & recite the special Ziarat for the day at http://www.duas.org/rajab/15rajabziarat.htm

Third Salat Salman a 10 rakat salat ,in each Raka'ah recite Surah Al Faatihah once, Surah Al Ikhlaas thrice, and Sura Kafiroon thrice and after salaam (at the end of each 2 units) raise your hands towards the heavens and say:

اَللَّهُمَّ يَا مُذِلَّ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ	all¡humma y¡ mudhilla kulli jabb¡rin	O Allah, O He Who humiliates all the tyrants!
وَيَا مُعِزَّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ	wa y¡ mu`izza almu'min¢na	O He Who dignifies the believers!
انْتَ كَهْفِي حِينَ تُعْيِينِي ٱلْمَذَاهِبُ	anta kahf¢ ¦¢na tu`y¢n¢ almadh¡hibu	Verily, You are my Shelter when all courses mislead me
وَانْتَ بَارِئُ خَلْقِي رَحْمَةً بِي	wa anta b¡ri'u khalq¢ ra¦matan b¢	and You are the Maker of my creation out of Your having mercy upon me,
وَقَدْ كُنْتَ عَنْ خَلْقِي غَنِيّاً	wa qad kunta `an khalq¢ ghaniyyan	while You have never needed to create me.
وَلَوْلاَ رَحْمَتُكَ لَكُنْتُ مِنَ ٱلْهَالِكِينَ	wa lawl¡ ra¦matuka lakuntu min alh¡lik¢na	Were it not for Your mercy, I would be of those who perish.
وَانْتَ مُؤَيِّدِي بِٱلنَّصْرِ عَلَىٰ اعْدَائِي	wa anta mu'ayyid¢ bilnna¥ri `al¡ a`d¡'¢	You are my backer against my enemies,
وَلَوْلاَ نَصْرُكَ إِيَّايَ لَكُنْتُ مِنَ ٱلْمَفْضُوحِينَ	wa lawl¡ na¥ruka iyy¡ya lakuntu min almaf¤£¦¢na	and were it not for Your support, I would be of those who are exposed.
يَا مُرْسِلَ ٱلرَّحْمَةِ مِنْ مَعَادِنِهَا	y¡ mursila alrra¦mati min ma`¡dinih¡	O He Who sends mercy from its origin!
وَمُنْشِئَ ٱلْبَرَكَةِ مِنْ مَوَاضِعِهَا	wa munshi'a albarakati min maw¡¤i`ih¡	O He Who originates blessings from their centers!
يَا مَنْ خَصَّ نَفْسَهُ بِٱلشُّمُوخِ وَٱلرِّفْعَةِ	y¡ man kha¥¥a nafsah£ bilshshum£khi walrrif`ati	O He Who has given Himself exclusively disdain and elevation;
فَاوْلِيَاؤُهُ بِعِزِّهِ يَتَعَزَّزُونَ	fa awliy¡'uh£ bi`izzih¢ yata`azzaz£na	therefore, His saints feel dignified out of His Honor!
وَيَا مَنْ وَضَعَتْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلُوكُ نِيرَ ٱلْمَذَلَّةِ عَلَىٰ اعْنَاقِهِمْ	wa y¡ man wa¤a`at lah£ almul£ku n¢ra almadhallati `al¡ a`n¡qihim	O He for Whom all kings have put the yoke of humiliation on their necks;
فَهُمْ مِنْ سَطَوَاتِهِ خَائِفُونَ	fahum min sa§aw¡tih¢ kh¡'if£na	they are therefore fearful of His supremacy!
اسْالُكَ بِكَيْنُونِيَّتِكَ ٱلَّتِي ٱشْتَقَقْتَهَا مِنْ كِبْرِيَائِكَ	as'aluka bikayn£niyyatika allat¢ ishtaqaqtah¡ min kibriy¡'ika	I pray You in the name of Your Entity from which You have derived Your Pride,
وَاسْالُكَ بِكِبْرِيَائِكَ ٱلَّتِي ٱشْتَقَقْتَهَا مِنْ عِزَّتِكَ	wa as'aluka bikibriy¡'ika allat¢ ishtaqaqtah¡ min `izzatika	I pray You in the name of Your Pride from which You have derived Your Dignity,
وَاسْالُكَ بِعِزِّتِكَ ٱلَّتِي ٱسْتَوَيْتَ بِهَا عَلَىٰ عَرْشِكَ	wa as'aluka bi`izzatika allat¢ istawayta bih¡ `al¡ `arshika	I pray You in the name of Your Dignity by which You have been firmly established on the throne of authority;
فَخَلَقْتَ بِهَا جَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ	fakhalaqta bih¡ jam¢`a khalqika	so, You have created all Your creatures who are,
فَهُمْ لَكَ مُذْعِنُونَ	fahum laka mudh`in£na	as a result, submissive to You.
انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاهْلِ بَيْتِهِ	an tu¥alliya `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ahli baytih¢	[I pray You to] send blessings to Mu¦ammad and upon his Household.

According to a narration, Any aggrieved person who says this prayer will have his grief released by Almighty Allah.
