PRAYERS OF THE FINAL PROPHET (SAAWW)
46. HIS INVOCATION
87. In al-Muhaj: In his narration from Ab¢ Ba¥¢r and Mu¦ammad XE "Mu¦ammad" ibn Muslim who said: Ja~far ibn Mu¦ammad al-®¡diq H narrated to us from his father, from his fathers, from Am¢r al-Mu`min¢n ~Al¢ XE "~Al¢" ibn Ab¢ ±¡lib G, who said: The Noble Prophet XE "Holy Prophet" 9 would invoke (All¡h XE "All¡h" i) for (the safety of) al-°asan and al-°usayn H with this, and he would order his companions to recite it, and it is:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ. أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَدِيـنِي وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي وَوُلْدِي وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِي وَمَا رَزَقَنِي رَبِّي وَخَوَّلَنِي بِعِزَّةِ اللّٰهِ وَعَظَمَةِ اللّٰهِ وَجَبَرُوتِ اللّٰهِ وَسُلْطَانِ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةِ اللّٰهِ وَرَأْفَةِ اللّٰهِ وَغُفْرَانِ اللّٰهِ وَقُوَّةِ اللّٰهِ وَقُدْرَةِ اللّٰهِ وَبِآلاَءِ اللّٰهِ وَبِصُنْعِ اللّٰهِ وَبِأَرْكَانِ اللّٰهِ وَبِجَمْعِ اللّٰهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ وَبِرَسُولِ اللّٰهِ (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلِيهِ وَآلِهِ) وَقُدْرَةِ اللّٰهِ عَلـى مَايَشَاءُ، مِنْ شَرِّ السَّامَّةِ وَالْهَامَّةِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا دَبَّ فِي الأَرْضِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ، وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ رَبِّي آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا، إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلـى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ، وَهُوَ عَلـى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ، وَصَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلـى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ.
In the name of All¡h XE "All¡h" the Beneficent the Merciful. I place myself, my religion, my family, my wealth, my children, the results of my actions and that which my Lord has bestowed on me, under the protection of the Respect, Grandeur, Majesty, Munificence, Mercy, Kindness, Forgiveness, Power, Might and Bounty of All¡h; By the support of All¡h j, the prophet of All¡h 9 and the Power of All¡h over whatever He wills, from the evil of the poisonous and non-poisonous creatures, from the evil of jinn and man, from the evil of that which moves on the earth, from the evil of that which comes out from it, from the evil that descends from the sky and ascends in it and from the evil of every creature that my Lord holds by its forelock, surely my Lord is on the straight path and He has power over all things; and there is no might and no power but that of All¡h the Sublime the Mighty – and blessings of All¡h be on our master Mu¦ammad XE "Mu¦ammad" and his progeny.[i]
