PRAYERS OF THE FINAL PROPHET (SAAWW)

24. HIS DUA AFTER THE NªFILAH OF THE FAJR PRAYER

60. In al-Ja~fariy¡t: In his narration from Ja~far ibn Mu¦ammad XE "Mu¦ammad"  from his fathers from ~Al¢ XE "~Al¢"  G that when the Noble Prophet XE "Holy Prophet"  9 had prayed two rak~ahs before the morning prayer, he laid down on his right side and placed his right hand under his right cheek, then said:

إِسْتَمْسَكْتُ بِعُرْوَةِ اللّٰهِ الْوُثْقى الَّتِي لاَ انْفِصَامَ لَهَا، وَاسْتَعْصَمْتُ بِحَبْلِ اللّٰهِ الْمَتِينِ. أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ فَوْرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ شَرِّ شَيَاطِينِ الإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ. تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلـى اللّٰهِ، طَلَبْتُ حَاجَتِي مِنَ اللّٰهِ، حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ ونِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ.

I have laid hold of the firmest handle of All¡h XE "All¡h"  which shall not break off and I have clung to the strong rope of All¡h. I seek refuge with All¡h from the outbursts of the Arab and the non-Arab, and I seek refuge with All¡h from the evil of the devils from the man and jinn. I trust in All¡h. I seek the fulfillment of my needs from All¡h. All¡h is enough for me and He is the best Procurator, there is no power or might but by (the will of) All¡h the Sublime, the Mighty.[i]
