PRAYERS OF THE FINAL PROPHET (SAAWW)
19. HIS DHIKR WHEN HE HEARD THE ADHAN
53. In al-Da`¡im: It has been narrated to us from ~Al¢ XE "~Al¢" XE "~Al¢ ibn al-°usayn" ibn al-°usayn H that when the Noble Prophet XE "Holy Prophet" 9 heard the ¡dhan, he would repeat what the mua’dhin said, and when he said:
حَيَّ عَلـى الصَّلاَةِ، حَيَّ عَلـى الْفَلاَحِ، حَيَّ عَلـى خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ.
Hurry to the prayer. Hurry to success. Hurry to the best of actions, he 9 said:
لاَ حَوْلَ وَ لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللّٰهِ.
There is no power and no might but by (the will of) All¡h XE "All¡h" .
And when the call to prayer was completed, he said:
أَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ هٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَةِ وَ الصَّلاَةِ القَائِمَةِ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً سُؤْلَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِـيَامَةِ وَ بَلِّغْهُ الدَّرَجَةَ الْوَسِيلَةِ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَ تَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهُ فِي أُمَّتِهِ.
O All¡h XE "All¡h" ! Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Mu¦ammad XE "Mu¦ammad" his request on the day of Judgment, and raise his status to the means of reaching paradise and accept his intercession for his Ummah.[i]
