Ninth: mp3Muammad ibn Fuayl has reported that he wrote a letter to Imam Muammad al-Taq (al-Jawd) (`a) asking him to teach him a prayer. The Imams answer came: In mornings and evening, you may say the following statement:
allhu allhu allhu rabb |
Allah, Allah, Allah is my lord, |
alrramnu alrramu |
the All-beneficent and All-merciful. |
l ushriku bih shay'an |
I do not admit any one as partner of Him. |
You may then submit your requests.
Tenth:mp3 Imam al-diq (`a) is reported to have said to Dwd al-Raqq: Do not miss repeating the following prayer three times in mornings and three times in evenings:
allhumma ij`aln f dir`ika alanati |
O Allah, (please) include me with Your invulnerable shield |
allat taj`alu fh man turdu |
with which You include whomever You want. |
The Imam (`a) added: My father (`a) has said, This is one of the divinely hoarded prayers.
It is narrated that the Prophet saws used to recite three hundred and sixty times every dawn and dusk the following
|
Alhamdu lillahi rabbilaalimeen kateeran ala kulle haalin |
with which You include whomever You want. |
He (a.s.) said that there are 360 veins in the human body. Of them 180 are mobile and the other 180 are static. If, even one mobile vein becomes static, or any of the static veins becomes mobile, then the person doesnt get the sleep and remains restless the whole night. He should therefore regularly recite the invocation mentioned above.
Ameer al Momineen has said that anyone who recited three times the following words every morning and evening, then Allah will certainly enter him into the Heaven:
Razaito billahi rabban wa bilislame deenan wa Muhammadin sal allaho alaihi wa aalehi nabian wa bil qurane balaghan wa be aliyin imaman wa bil ausiayo min wuldehe aayimatan |
|
Imam Jafar e Sadiq (a.s.) has said that one who recites the following words 25 times every day, then Allah will write one virtue in the names of all the momins from Adam (a.s.) till the Day of Reckoning and to that individual he will Reward equal to that of all the momins:
Allahumma aghfiru lilmomineena wal mominaate wal muslimeena wal muslimaate |
|
Recite ten times the Quranic Surah (i.e. Chapter) known as al-Ikhlas:
Recite ten timesAll Praise and Glory be to Allah, the Supreme And there is no power or power-acquiring Except through God, the High, and the Mighty.
Recite once:In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate God, guide me through Your Grace; Supplement my meager means with abundance of your generosity. Spread your Mercy All over me. Send down over me your Blessing!
Recite ten times:Glory and Praise be to Allah For there is no God except Allah And Allah is Supreme.
Recite ten times:I bear witness that there is no God except Allah. He is alone having no equals or partners. Alone everlasting Who does not need to take a son or a spouse
Recite once:In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. I give, hereby, myself And all that God has give me In the custody of Allah, The one, The Everlasting, Who begets not. Nor has He been begotten. Nor there is one equal to Him! And I, hereby, take refuge with myself And that God has given me With the Lord of Day break From the evil of what He has created And from the evil of darkness when it gathers. And from the evil of those women who blow on knots And from the evil of envious when he envies. And I take refuge with myself and all that God has given me With the Lord of men, The King of men, the Sustainer of men From the evil or the slinking whisperer Who whispers in the breasts of men Of Jin and Men.
Recite once:There is no power or strength save in God The most High, the Most Supreme. I rely on the Living Who will not Taste, the Taste of death I laud and glorify the One Who has not take a spouse Or a son! Nor there was a partner to share sovereignty nor a friend To supplement a possible need. So glorify Him In the greatest way possible.
Recite three times:I seek forgiveness from the Lord (testifying) There is no God other than Him The Living and the Everlasting Of Majesty and Splendour And I turn to Him In Repentence!
Then recite:O Lord I ask you In the name of Muhammad and his line of Progeny To have Mercy on Muhammad and his posterity. And (through them) grant me (also) The light in my eyes, the true understanding of my faith The (Divine) Certainty in my heart The sincerity in my actions and peace in my mind And spaciousness in the means of my living And gratitude unto You As long as you decide to keep me alive.
Then recite:There is no God except Allah, the One, without any partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and to Him is due all Praise. He gives life and death. In His hand is the good, and He has power over all things.
I seek refuge in Allah, the Hearing, the Knowing, from the evil suggestions of Shaitans and seek refuge in Allah from their presence. Surely Allah -- He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Then recite:O Allah! Who transforms hearts and eyes, may my heart steadfast to Thy religion. And make not my heart to deviate after Thou hast guided me a right and grant me Thy mercy. Surely Thou art All bestower, and by Thy mercy save me from the fire. Oh Allah! Extend the span of my life and increase my subsistence and unfold Thy Knowledge. If there is any misfortune for me in the guarded tablets make it fortunate for me, for surely thou effaces what Thou pleases and inscribes (what Thou pleases) and art heart of guarded tablet.
Too many are the supplications that have been reported from the Holy Prophet and the Holy Imams, peace be upon them, to be said at sunrise and sunset. Besides, verses from the Holy Qur'n and traditions of the Infallibles, peace be upon them, have urged on and awakened desires for the persistence on saying such supplications at these two times of the day. However, let us mention a few number of these authenticated supplications:
First: Master adthists have narrated, through authenticated chain of authority (sanad), that Imam Ja`far al-diq (`a) said: It is incumbent upon each and every Muslim to repeat the following prayer ten times before sunrise and ten times before sunset:Mp3
l ilha ill allhu |
There is no god save Allah, |
wadah l sharka lah |
alone without having any partner. |
lah almulku wa lah alamdu |
To him is the kingdom and to Him is all praise. |
yuy wa yumtu wa yumtu wa yuy |
He gives life and causes to die and causes to die and gives life |
wa huwa ayyun l yamtu |
while He is ever-living and never dies. |
biyadih alkhayru |
In His hand is the good |
wa huwa `al kulli shay'in qadrun |
and He has power over all things. |
According to some narrations, this supplication should be made up if it is missed because it is obligatory.
Second: Through trustworthy chains of authority too, Imam al-diq (`a) is reported to have said: Before sunrise and sunset, repeat ten times the following prayer:Mp3
a`dhu billhi alssam`i al`almi |
I seek the protection of Allah, the All-hearing and All-knowing, |
min hamazti alshshayni |
against the evil suggestions of the devils |
wa a`dhu billhi an yaurni |
and I seek Allahs protection lest they be present with me. |
inna allha huwa alssam`u al`almu |
Verily, Allah is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. |
Third: Imam al-diq (`a) is also reported to have said: Nothing should divert you from saying the following prayer three times each morning and evening:Mp3
allhumma muqallIba alqulbi wal-abri |
O Allah Who causes the changes of hearts and sights, |
thabbit qalb `al dnika |
(please) make firm my heart on the course of Your religion, |
wa l tuzigh qalb ba`da idh hadaytan |
cause not my heart to stray off after You have guided me, |
wa hab l min ladunka ramatan |
and bestow upon me mercy from Your Presence. |
innaka anta alwahhbu |
Surely, You are the All-bestower. |
wa ajirn mina alnnri biramatika |
And save me from Hellfire out of Your mercy. |
allhumma imdud l f `umur |
O Allah, (please) extend my lifetime, |
wa awsi` `alayya f rizq |
expand my sustenance, |
wanshur `alayya ramataka |
cover me with Your mercy, |
wa in kuntu `indaka f ummi alkitbi shaqiyyan |
and if I am listed in the Mother of the Book with the unhappy ones, |
faj`aln sa`dan |
please include me with the happy ones, |
fa'innaka tam m tash'u wa tuthbitu |
for, surely, You efface what You will, and establish what You will, |
wa `indaka ummu alkitbi |
and with You is the Mother of the Book. |
Fourth: Imam al-diq (`a) is also reported to have instructed to say the following prayer each morning and evening:Mp3
alamdu lillhi alladh yaf`alu m yash'u |
All praise be to Allah Who does whatever He wills |
wa l yaf`alu m yash'u ghayruh |
and none else can ever do whatever one wills. |
alamdu lillhi kam yuibbu allhu an yumada |
All praise be to Allah as much as Allah desires to be praised. |
alamdu lillhi kam huwa ahluh |
All praise be to Allah as much as He is worthy of praising. |
O Allah, include me with each (item of) goodness with which You have included Muammad and the Household of Muammad, |
and take me out of each (item of) evil from which You have taken out Muammad and the Household of Muammad. |
all allhu `al muammadin wa li muammadin |
May Allah bless Muammad and the Household of Muammad. |
Fifth: Repeat the following litany ten times each morning and evening:
subna allhi |
All glory be to Allah, |
walamdu lillhi |
all praise be to Allah, |
wa l ilha ill allhu |
there is no god save Allah, |
wallhu akbaru |
and Allah is the Greatest. |
Du`' al-`Ashart, which will be later on cited in this book, is one of the supplications to be advisably said each morning and evening.
'SUNSET ' DUAS Pdf Video(wmv) Video u tube
It is highly advisable to engage yourself in glorification of Almighty Allah and implorations for His forgiveness, because this hour is as important as the pre-sunrise hour, as Almighty Allah has said in the Holy Quran:
And sing the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting. |
Imam al-Sadiq (`a) is reported to have said, When the color of the sun changes (i.e. the sun is about to set), you must remember Allah the Almighty and Majestic. If you are at that hour with one who preoccupies you from this, you must leave him and supplicate. Mp3 Image
ams ulm mustajran bi`afwika |
In this evening, my wrongdoing is taking shelter in Your pardon, |
wa amsat dhunb mustajratan bimaghfiratika |
my sins are taking shelter in Your forgiveness, |
wa ams khawf mustajran bi'amnika |
my fear is taking shelter in Your security, |
wa ams dhull mustajran bi`izzika |
my humility is taking shelter in Your dignity, |
wa ams faqr mustajran bighinka |
my poverty is taking shelter in Your richness, |
wa ams wajhiya albl mustajran biwajhika aldd'imi albq |
and my mortal face is taking shelter in Your Face, the Undying and Perpetual. |
allhumma albisn `fiyataka |
O Allah, (please) dress me with Your wellbeing, |
wa ghashshin biramatika |
cover me with Your mercy, |
wa jalliln karmataka |
overshadow me with Your honoring, |
wa qin sharra khalqika min aljinni wal-insi |
and protect me against the evils of Your creaturesjinn and men. |
y allhu y ramnu y ramu |
O Allah! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful! |
Another supplication to be said at sunset is the following:
y man khatama alnnubuwwata bimuammadin |
O He Who has sealed the Prophethood with Muhammad, |
all allhu `alayhi wa lih |
Allah may bless him and his Household, |
ikhtim l f yawm hdh bikhayrin |
(please) seal with goodness this day of mine, |
wa shahr bikhayrin |
this month of mine, |
wa sanat bikhayrin |
this year of mine, |
wa `umr bikhayrin |
and my entire lifetime. |
You may then put your hand on the head and pass it over your face. You may then hold your beard and say the following :Mp3
aatu `al nafs wa ahl |
I include myself, my family, |
wa ml wa walad |
my property, and my sons, |
min gh'ibin wa shhidin |
both the absent and the present |
billhi alladh l ilha ill huwa |
with Allah save Whom there is no god, |
`limu alghaybi walshshahdati |
the Knower of the unseen and the seen, |
alrramnu alrramu |
the All-beneficent, the All-merciful, |
alayyu alqayymu |
the Ever-living, the Self-subsisting. |
l ta'khudhuh sinatun wa l nawmun |
Slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep. |
lah m f alssamwti wa m f al-ari |
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His. |
man dh alladh yashfa`u `indah ill bi'idhnih |
Who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? |
He knows what is before them and what is behind them, |
wa l yuna bishay'in min `ilmihi ill bim sh'a |
and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases. |
wasi`a kursiyyuh alssamwti wa al-ara |
His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, |
wa l ya'duh ifuhum |
and the preservation of them both tires Him not, |
wa huwa al`aliyyu al`amu |
and He is the Most High, the Great. |
