Allahuma Arzukna tafiqa

Allahumma Arzuqna Taufiqa Taa'aa -as taught by Imam Mahdi (atfs)اَللَّهُمَّ ٱرْزُقْنَا تَوْفِيقَ ٱلطَّاعَةِ

"Allaahumar'zuqnaa Tawfeeqat-Twaa'ati, Wa Bu'adal Ma'aswiyyati, Wa Swidqan Niyyati, Wa Irfaanal Hurmati, Wa Akrimna Bil Hudaa Wal Istiqaamati, Wa Saddid Alsinatinaa Bi Swawaabi Wal Hikmati, Wam'la'a Quloobanaa Bil Ilmi Wal Ma'arifati, Wa Twahhir Butwoonanaa Minal Haraami Wash-Shub'hati, Wakfuf Aydiyanaa Anidh-Dhulmi Was-Sirqati, Wagh-dhwudh Abswaaranaa Anil Fujoori Wal Khiyaanati, Wasdud Asmaa'anaa Anil-Laghwi Wal Gheebati, Wa Tafadhdhal Alaa Ulamaaina Biz-Zuhdi Wan-Nasweehati Wa Alal Muta'allimeena Bil Juhdi War-Raghbati, Wa Alal Mustami'eena Bil Ittibaa'I Wal Maw'idhati Wa Alaa Mardhal Muslimeena Bish-Shifaa'i War-Raahati, Wa Alaa Mawtaahum Bir-Ra'afati War'Rahmati, Wa Alaa Mashaayikhina Bil Waqaari Was-Sakeenati, Wa Alash-Shabaabi Bil Inaabati Wat-Tawbati, Wa Alan-Nisaai Bil Hayaa'i Wal Iffati, Wa Alal Aghniyaa'i Bit-Tawaadhu'i Was-Sa'ati, Wa Alal Fuqaraa'i Bis-Swabri Wal Qanaa'ati, Wa Alal Ghuzaati Bin-Nasri Wal Ghalabati, Wa Alal Usaraa'i Bil Khalaaswi War-Raahati Wa Alal Umaraa'i Bil Adli Wash-Shafaqati, Wa Alar-Ra'iyyati Bil Inswaafi Wa Husnis-Seerati, Wa Baarik Lil Hujjaaji Waz-Zuwwari Fiz-Zaadi Wan-Nafaqati, Waqdhi Maa Awjabta Alayhim Minal Hajji Wal Umrati, Bi Fadhlika Wa Rahmatika Yaa Arhamar-Raahimeen.

"( = O my Allaah let divine guidence make us comply with You, and abstain from sinning, and have sincere objective and cognizance of the legitimate, and give us guidence and perseverence as a reward, and make us always speak uprightly with wisdom and purpose, and fill our hearts with knowledge and awareness, and keep our thoughts from the forbidden ones, and prevent our hands from stealing and oppressing others, and let our eyes condemn wickedness and dishonesty, and block our ears from nonsense and backbiting,and let our Ulamaa excel in piety and giving good counsel, and those receiving guidance may make efforts with full liking, and make those who are listening follow instructions and pay heed to good guidance, and Muslims who are suffering from sicknesses be blessed with cure and comfort, and the dead be blessed with consideration and mercy, and the aged may live in self-esteem and traquility, and the young ones may turn to Allah to repent and attend to religious duties, and let our women adopt modesty and chastity, and the rich among us give gifts and presents to the less lucky and be accomodating, and the poor among us be content a nd tolerant, and let the warriors in Your way gain victory and have an upper hand over the enemies, and free those of us who are made captives, and make our rulers rule with justice and compassion, and the ruled may deals with each other with equity and good morals, and bless the Hujjaaj and Zuwwaar with necessities and expenditure during their performance and let them achieve that which You have made obligatory on them for performing Hajj and Umrah, by Your generosity and mercy, O the Most Merciful. )

Al-Kaf`am�, in al-Mi�b��, says �This is the prayer of Imam al-Mahd� (`a):

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱرْزُقْنَا تَوْفِيقَ ٱلطَّاعَةِ	all�humma irzuqn� tawf�qa al��`ati	O Allah, (please do) grant us success to obey (You),
وَبُعْدَ ٱلْمَعْصِيَةِ	wa bu`da alma`�iyati	remoteness from disobedience (to You),
وَصِدْقَ ٱلنِّيّّةِ	wa �idqa alnniyyati	true intention,
وَعِرْفَانَ ٱلْحُرْمَةِ	wa `irf�na al�urmati	and identification of sanctity.
وَاكْرِمْنَا بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلاِسْتِقَامَةِ	wa akrimn� bilhud� wal-istiq�mati	(Please do) honor us with true guidance and straightforwardness,
وَسَدِّدْ الْسِنَتَنَا بِٱلصَّوَابِ وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ	wa saddid alsinatan� bil��aw�bi wal�ikmati	dedicate our tongues to truth and wisdom,
وَٱمْلَا قُلُوبَنَا بِٱلْعِلْمِ وَٱلْمَعْرِفَةِ	wamla' qul�ban� bil`ilmi walma`rifati	fill our hearts with knowledge and learning,
وَطَهِّرْ بُطُونَنَا مِنَ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَٱلشُّبْهَةِ	wa �ahhir bu��nan� mina al�ar�mi walshshubhati	purify our stomachs from illegally and suspiciously gotten food,
وَٱكْفُفْ ايْدِيَنَا عَنِ ٱلظُّلْمِ وَٱلسَّرِقَةِ	wakfuf aydiyan� `an al��ulmi walssariqati	withhold our hands from oppression and larceny,
وَٱغْضُضْ ابْصَارَنَا عَنِ ٱلْفُجُورِ وَٱلْخِيَانَةِ	wagh�u� ab��ran� `an alfuj�ri walkhiy�nati	turn our sights away from licentiousness and treachery,
وَٱسْدُدْ اسْمَاعَنَا عَنِ ٱللَّغْوِ وَٱلْغِيبَةِ	wasdud asm�`an� `an allaghwi walgh�bati	and block our hearings against vainness and backbiting,
وَتَفَضَّلْ عَلَىٰ عُلَمَائِنَا بِٱلزُّهْدِ وَٱلنَّصِيحَةِ	wa tafa��al `al� `ulam�'in� bilzzuhdi walnna��ati	confer upon our scholars with asceticism and advice,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْمُتَعَلِّمِينَ بِٱلْجُهْدِ وَٱلرَّغْبَةِ	wa `al� almuta`allim�na biljuhdi walrraghbati	upon the learners with hard work and desire (to learning),
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْمُسْتَمِعِينَ بِٱلاِتِّبَاعِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ	wa `al� almustami`�na bil-ittib�`i walmaw`i�ati	upon the listeners with following and learning (lessons),
وَعَلَىٰ مَرْضَىٰ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ بِٱلشِّفَاءِ وَٱلرَّاحَةِ	wa `al� mar�� almuslim�na bilshshaf�'i walrr��ati	upon the Muslim patients with cure and comfort,
وَعَلَىٰ مَوْتَاهُمْ بِٱلرَّافَةِ وَٱلرَّحْمَةِ	wa `al� mawt�hum bilrra'fati walrra�mati	upon the dead Muslims with kindness and mercy,
وَعَلَىٰ مَشَايِخِنَا بِٱلْوَقَارِ وَٱلسَّكِينَةِ	wa `al� mash�yikhin� bilwaq�ri walssak�nati	upon our aged people with somberness and gentleness,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلشَّبَابِ بِٱلإِنَابَةِ وَٱلتَّوْبَةِ	wa `al� alshshab�bi bil-in�bati walttawbati	upon the youths with turning (to You) and repentance,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلنِّسَاءِ بِٱلْحَيَاءِ وَٱلْعِفَّةِ	wa `al� alnnis�'i bil�ay�'i wal`iffati	upon the women with shyness and chastity,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلاغْنِيَاءِ بِٱلتَّوَاضُعِ وَٱلسَّعَةِ	wa `al� al-aghniy�'i bilttaw��u`i walssa`ati	upon the rich with modesty and ample giving,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْفُقَرَاءِ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلْقَنَاعَةِ	wa `al� alfuqar�'i bil��abri walqan�`ati	upon the poor with patience and satisfaction,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْغُزَاةِ بِٱلنَّصْرِ وَٱلْغَلَبَةِ	wa `al� alghuz�ti bilnna�ri walghalabati	upon the warriors with triumph and supremacy,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلاسَرَاءِ بِٱلْخَلاَصِ وَٱلرَّاحَةِ	wa `al� al-usar�'i bilkhal��i walrr��ati	upon the prisoners with release and comfort,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلامَرَاءِ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلشَّفَقَةِ	wa `al� al-umar�'i bil`adli walshshafaqati	upon the rulers with justice and sympathy,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلرَّعِيَّةِ بِٱلإِنْصَافِ وَحُسْنِ ٱلسِّيرَةِ	wa `al� alrra`iyyati bil-in��fi wa �usni alss�rati	and upon the subjects with impartiality and good behavior.
وَبَارِكْ لِلْحُجَّاجِ وَالزُّوَّارِ فِي ٱلزَّادِ وَٱلنَّفَقَةِ	wa b�rik lil�ujj�ji walzzuww�ri f� alzz�di walnnafaqati	(Please do) bless the pilgrims to Mecca and the visitors (of the tombs of the saints) with provision and expenditure,
وَٱقْضِ مَا اوْجَبْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ ٱلْحَجِّ وَٱلْعُمْرَةِ	waq�i m� awjabta `alayhim min al�ajj wal`umrati	and help them settle the �ajj and `Umrah that You have made incumbent upon them,
بِفَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	bifa�lika wa ra�matika y� ar�ama alrr��im�na	in the name of Your grace and mercy, O most merciful of all those who show mercy!
