اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ خِيَرَتَكَ فِيمَا ٱسْتَخَرْتُكَ فِيهِ

all�humma inna khiyarataka f�m� istakhartuka f�hi

O Allah, my prayer for guidance from You with regard to the matter about which I have asked You to guide me

تُنِيلُ ٱلرَّغَائِبَ وَتُجْزِلُ ٱلْمَوَاهِبَ

tun�lu alrragh�'iba wa tujzilu almaw�hiba

does make all desires accessible, grant abundant gifts,

وَتُغْنِمُ ٱلْمَطَالِبَ وَتُطَيِّبُ ‏َٱلْمَكَاسِبَ

wa tughnimu alma��liba wa tu�ayyibu almak�siba

accept the requests, make easy the gains,

وَتَهْدِي إِلَىٰ اجْمَلِ ٱلْمَذَاهِبِ

wa tahd� il� ajmali almadh�hibi

guide to the most excellent way,

وَتَسُوقُ إِلَىٰ احْمَدِ ٱلْعَوَاقِبِ

wa tas�qu il� a�madi al`aw�qibi

drive to the most praiseworthy consequences,

وَتَقِي مَخُوفَ ٱلنَّوَائِبِ

wa taq� makh�fa alnnaw�'ibi

and guard from the dreadful calamities.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْتَخِيرُكَ فِيمَا عَزَمَ رَايِي عَلَيْهِ

all�humma inn� astakh�ruka f�m� `azama ra'y� `alayhi

O Allah, I pray You for guiding me to the best choice with regard to what I am determined to do

وَقَادَنِي عَقْلِي إِلَيْهِ

wa q�dan� `aql� ilayhi

to which my reason has directed me.

وَسَهِّلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ فِيهِ مَا تَوَعَّرَ

wa sahhil all�humma f�hi m� tawa``ara

O Allah, (please) smooth its progress to me,

وَيَسِّرْ مِنْهُ مَا تَعَسَّرَ

wa yassir minhu m� ta`assara

make easy its difficulty,

وَٱكْفِنِي فِيهِ ٱلْمُهِمَّ

wakfin� f�hi almuhimma

save me from what concerns me,

وَٱدْفَعْ بِهِ عَنِّي كُلَّ مُلِمٍّ

wadfa` bih� `ann� kulla mulimmin

repel from me what is terrible,

وَٱجْعَلْ يَا رَبِّ عَوَاقِبَهُ غُنْماً

waj`al y� rabbi `aw�qibah� ghunman

and, O Lord, change its bad consequences into good end results,

وَمَخُوفَهُ سِلْماً

wa makh�fah� silman

its dreadful parts into safety,

وَبُعْدَهُ قُرْباً

wa bu`dah� qurban

its unlikely gains into possible,

وَجَدْبَهُ خِصْباً

wa jadbah� khi�ban

and its barrenness into fertility.

وَارْسِلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِجَابَتِي

wa arsil all�humma ij�bat�

O Allah, release Your response to me,

وَانْجِحْ طَلِبَتِي

wa anji� �alibat�

make successful my appeal,

وَٱقْضِ حَاجَتِي

waq�i ��jat�

grant me my need,

وَٱقْطَعْ عَنِّي عَوَائِقَهَا

waq�a` `ann� `aw�'iqah�

cut off whatever hinders it,

وَٱمْنَعْ عَنِّي بَوَائِقَهَا

wamna` `ann� baw�'iqah�

and stop its misfortunes.

وَاعْطِنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ لِوَاءَ ٱلظَّفَرِ

wa a`�in� all�humma liw�'a al��afari

O Allah, give me the pennon of triumph,

وَٱلْخِيَرَةَ فِيمَا ٱسْتَخَرْتُكَ

walkhiyarata f�m� istakhartuka

the true guidance to the best of what I have asked You for,

وَوُفُورَ ٱلْمَغْنَمِ فِيمَا دَعَوْتُكَ

wa wuf�ra almaghnami f�m� da`awtuka

the abundant gain of what I have prayed You for,

وَعَوَائِدَ ٱلإِفْضَالِ فِيمَا رَجَوْتُكَ

wa `aw�'ida al-if��li f�m� rajawtuka

and the bestowals of favors in what I have hoped You for.

وَٱقْرِنْهُ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِٱلنَّجَاحِ

waqrinhu all�humma bilnnaj��i

O Allah, attach all that to success,

وَخُصَّهُ بِٱلصَّلاَحِ

wa khu��ah� bil��al��i

adorn it exclusively with righteousness,

وَارِنِي اسْبَابَ ٱلْخِيَرَةِ فِيهِ وَاضِحَةً

wa arin� asb�ba alkhiyarati f�hi w��i�atan

make clear before my eyes the reasons for guiding me to this choice

وَاعْلاَمَ غُنْمِهَا لاَئِحَةً

wa a`l�ma ghunmih� l�'i�atan

and the factors of winning it,

وَٱشْدُدْ خِنَاقَ تَعْسِيرِهَا

washdud khin�qa ta`s�rih�

tighten the grip around the throat of its difficulties,

وَٱنْعَشْ صَرِيعَ تَيْسِيرِهَا

wan`ash �ar�`a tays�rih�

and refresh its dying easiness.

وَبَيِّنِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مُلْتَبَسَهَا

wa bayyin all�humma multabasah�

O Allah, acquaint me with its confusable matters,

وَاطْلِقْ مُحْتَبَسَهَا

wa a�liq mu�tabasah�

release its detained affairs,

وَمَكِّنْ اسَّهَا

wa makkin ussah�

and make firm its foundations

حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ خِيَرَةً مُقْبِلَةً بِٱلْغُنْمِ

�att� tak�na khiyaratan muqbilatan bilghunmi

so that it will come carrying gains,

مُزِيلَةً لِلْغُرْمِ

muz�latan lilghurmi

removing debts,

عَاجِلَةً لِلنَّفْعِ

`�jilatan lilnnaf`i

bringing about swift benefits,

بَاقِيَةَ ٱلصُّنْعِ

b�qiyata al��un`i

and perpetuating its effect.

إِنَّكَ مَلِي‏ءٌ بِٱلْمَزِيدِ

innaka mal�'un bilmaz�di

Verily, You always have more to give

مُبْتَدِئٌ بِٱلْجُودِ

mubtadi'un bilj�di

and take the initiative to magnanimous conferrals.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ ٱلرَّجَاءَ لِسَعَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ

all�humma inna alrraj�'a lisa`ati ra�matika

O Allah, it is my hope for Your expansive mercy

انْطَقَنِي بِٱسْتِقَالَتِكَ

an�aqan� bistiq�latika

that has motivated me to ask for accepting my true repentance,

وَٱلامَلَ لانَِاتِكَ وَرِفْقِكَ

wal-amala li'an�tika wa rifqika

and it is my hope for Your forbearance and leniency

شَجَّعَنِي عَلَىٰ طَلَبِ امَانِكَ وَعَفْوِكَ

shajja`an� `al� �alabi am�nika wa `afwika

that has encouraged me to beg Your security and pardon.

وَلِي يَا رَبِّ ذُنُوبٌ

wa l� y� rabbi dhun�bun

O my Lord, I have committed sins,

قَدْ وَاجَهَتْهَا اوْجُهُ ٱلٱِنْتِقَامِ

qad w�jahat-h� awjuh� alintiq�mi

which are worthy of encountering Your punishment,

وَخَطَايَا قَدْ لاَحَظَتْهَا اعْيُنُ ٱلٱِصْطِلاَمِ

wa kha��y� qad l��a�at-h� a`yunu ali��il�mi

and [I have committed] wrongdoings, which have been observed by the eyes of eradication

وَٱسْتَوْجَبْتُ بِهَا عَلَىٰ عَدْلِكَ الِيمَ ٱلْعَذَابِ

wastawjabtu bih� `al� `adlika al�ma al`adh�bi

and due to which, I deserve Your painful chastisement despite of Your justice,

وَٱسْتَحْقَقْتُ بِٱجْتِرَاحِهَا مُبِيرَ ٱلْعِقَابِ

wasta�qaqtu bijtir��ih� mub�ra al`iq�bi

and because I have committed these wrongdoings, I earn Your annihilating punishment.

وَخِفْتُ تَعْوِيقَهَا لإِِجَابَتِي

wa khiftu ta`w�qah� li'ij�bat�

I am thus afraid that these wrongdoings will obstruct You from responding to me

وَرَدَّهَا إِيَّايَ عَنْ قَضَاءِ حَاجَتِي

wa raddah� iyy�ya `an qa��'i ��jat�

and will make You refuse to grant me my requests,

بِإِبْطَالِهَا لِطَلِبَتِي

bi'ib��lih� li�alibat�

since they are violative enough to abolish my petition

وَقَطْعِهَا لاِسْبَابِ رَغْبَتِي

wa qa�`h� li'asb�bi raghbat�

and to cut off the factors of achieving my desires,

مِنْ اجْلِ مَا قَدْ انْقَضَ ظَهْرِي مِنْ ثِقْلِهَا

min ajli m� qad anqa�a �ahr� min thiqlih�

because their overburdens have pressed heavily upon my back

وَبَهَظَنِي مِنَ ٱلٱِسْتِقْلاَلِ بِحَمْلِهَا

wa baha�an� min alistiql�li bi�amlih�

and their loads have been too heavy for me to burden.

ثُمَّ تَرَاجَعْتُ رَبِّ إِلىٰ حِلْمِكَ عَنِ ٱلْخَاطِئِينَ

thumma tar�ja`tu rabbi il� �ilmika `an alkh��i'�na

But when I recalled Your forbearance, O my Lord, with the wrongdoers,

وَعَفْوِكَ عَنِ ٱلْمُذْنِبِينَ

wa `afwika `an almudhnib�na

Your forgiveness to the sinful,

وَرَحْمَتِكَ لِلْعَاصِينَ

wa ra�matika lil`���na

and Your mercy to the disobedient,

فَاقْبَلْتُ بِثِقَتِي مُتَوَكِّلاًَ عَلَيْكَ

fa'aqbaltu bithiqat� mutawakkilan `alayka

I, carrying my trust in You and relying on You, came towards You,

طَارِحاً نَفْسِي بَيْنَ يَدَيكَ

��ri�an nafs� bayna yadayka

throwing myself in Your Presence,

شَاكِياً بَثِّي إِلَيْكَ

sh�kiyan bathth� ilayka

complaining about my grief to You,

سَائِلاًَ رَبِّ مَا لاَ اسْتَوْجِبُهُ مِنْ تَفْرِيجِ ٱلْهَمِّ

s�'ilan rabbi m� l� astawjibuh� min tafr�ji alhammi

praying You, O my Lord, for what I do not deserve from You; that is relief from my distress,

وَلاَ اسْتَحِقُّهُ مِنْ تَنْفِيسِ ٱلْغَمِّ

wa l� asta�iqquh� min tanf�si alghammi

and for what I do not earn from You; that is alleviation of my anguish,

مُسْتَقِيلاًَ لَكَ رَبِّ إِيَّايَ

mustaq�lan rabbi laka iyy�ya

declaring my true repentance before You, O my Lord,

وَاثِقاً مَوْلاَيَ بِكَ

w�thiqan mawl�ya bika

and putting my trust in You, O my Master.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَٱمْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِٱلْفَرَجِ

all�humma famnun `alayya bilfaraji

O Allah, s0 (please) bestow upon me with relief from You,

وَتَطَوَّلْ عَلَيَّ بِسُهُولَةِ ٱلْمَخْرَجِ

wa ta�awwal `alayya bisuh�lati almakhraji

confer upon me with creating for me an easy way out,

وَٱدْلُلْنِي بِرَافَتِكَ عَلَىٰ سَمْتِ ٱلْمَنْهَجِ

wadluln� bira'fatika `al� samti almanhaji

lead me, out of Your clemency, to the straightest path,

وَازْلِقْنِي بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَنِ ٱلطَّرِيقِ ٱلاعْوَجِ

wa azliqn� biqudratika `an al��ar�qi al-a`waji

make me, out of Your omnipotence, deviate from the crooked path,

وَخَلِّصْنِي مِنْ سِجْنِ ٱلْكَرْبِ بِإِقَالَتِكَ

wa khalli�n� min sijni alkarbi bi'iq�latika

release me, out of Your acceptance of my true repentance, from the prison of ordeals,

وَاطْلِقْ اسْرِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ

wa a�liq asr� bira�matika

set me free from my capture, out of Your mercy,

وَطُلْ عَلَيَّ بِرِضْوَانِكَ

wa �ul `alayya biri�w�nika

donate me with favors, out of Your pleasure,

وَجُدْ عَلَيَّ بِإِحْسَانِكَ

wa jud `alayya bi'i�s�nika

give me generously, out of Your benevolence,

وَاقِلْنِي رَبِّ عَثْرَتِي

wa aqiln� rabbi `athrat�

steady me, O my Lord, from my slip,

وَفَرِّجْ كُرْبَتِي

wa farrij kurbat�

relieve me from my agony,

وَٱرْحَمْ عَبْرَتِي

war�am `abrat�

have mercy upon my sobbing,

وَلاَ تَحْجُبْ دَعْوَتِي

wa l� ta�jub da`wat�

do not make my prayer inaccessible,

وَٱشْدُدْ بِٱلإِقَالَةِ ازْرِي

washdud bil-iq�lati azr�

and by accepting my repentance, (please) strengthen my back,

وَقَوِّ بِهَا ظَهْرِي

wa qawwi bih� �ahr�

confirm my strength,

وَاصْلِحْ بِهَا امْرِي

wa a�li� bih� amr�

set aright all my affairs,

وَاطِلْ بِهَا عُمْرِي

wa a�il bih� `umr�

grant me long lifetime,

وَٱرْحَمْنِي يَوْمَ حَشْرِي وَوَقْتَ نَشْرِي

war�amn� yawma �ashr� wa waqta nashr�

and have mercy upon me on the day of my resurrecting and the time of my restoring to life.

إِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيمٌ

innaka jaw�dun kar�mun

Verily, You are all-magnanimous, all-generous,

غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

ghaf�run ra��mun

all-forgiving, and all-merciful.

وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

wa �alli `al� mu�ammadin wa �lih�

And (please) send blessings upon Mu�ammad and his Household.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ارِيدُ سَفَراً

all�humma inn� ur�du safaran

O Allah, I intend to travel;

فَخِرْ لِي فِيهِ

fakhir l� f�hi

so, choose for me the best in my journey,

وَاوْضِحْ لِي فِيهِ سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّايِ وَفَهِّمْنِيهِ

wa aw�i� l� f�hi sab�la alrra'yi wa fahhimn�hi

make clear before me and inspire to me the right understanding of the most accurate attitude,

وَٱفْتَحْ لِي عَزْمِي بِٱلٱِسْتِقَامَةِ

wafta� l� `azm� bilistiq�mati

release my determination by means of straightforwardness,

وَٱشْمُلْنِي فِي سَفَرِي بِٱلسَّلاَمَةِ

washmuln� f� safar� bilssal�mati

include me with safety during my journey,

وَافِدْنِي جَزِيلَ ٱلْحَظِّ وَٱلْكَرَامَةِ

wa afidn� jaz�la al�a��i walkar�mati

furnish me with abundant fortune and honor,

وَٱكْلَانِي بِحُسْنِ ٱلْحِفْظِ وَٱلْحِرَاسَةِ

wakla'n� bi�usni al�if�i wal�ir�sati

and preserve me with the excellent safeguard and watching.

وَجَنِّبْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ وَعْثَاءَ ٱلاسْفَارِ

wa jannibn� all�humma wa`th�'a al-asf�ri

O Allah, send away from me the inconvenience of journeys,

وَسَهِّلْ لِي حُزُونَةَ ٱلاوْعَارِ

wa sahhil l� �uz�nata al-aw`�ri

make easy for me the difficulty of roughness,

وَٱطْوِ لِي بِسَاطَ ٱلْمَرَاحِلِ

wa�wi l� bis��a almar��ili

unwrap before me the rug of covering the stations,

وَقَرِّبْ مِنِّي بُعْدَ نَايِ ٱلْمَنَاهِلِ

wa qarrib minn� bu`da na'yi alman�hili

bring nearer to me the remote watering places,

وَبَاعِدْ فِي ٱلْمَسِيرِ بَيْنَ خُطَىٰ ٱلرَّوَاحِلِ

wa b�`id f� almas�ri bayna khu�� alrraw��ili

and make spaces to be longer between the steps of our riding animals,

حَتَّىٰ تُقَرِّبَ نِيَاطَ ٱلْبَعِيدِ

�att� tuqarriba niy��a alba`�di

so that the remote distances will be nearby

وَتُسَهِّلَ وُعُورَ ٱلشَّدِيدِ

wa tusahhila wu`�ra alshshad�di

and the rough roads will be smooth.

وَلَقِّنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ فِي سَفَرِي نُجْحَ طَائِرِ ٱلْوَاقِيَةِ

wa laqqin� all�humma f� safar� nuj�a ��'iri alw�qiyati

O Allah, make me find in this journey success over evil omens,

وَهَبْنِي فِيهِ غُنْمَ ٱلْعَافِيَةِ

wa habn� f�hi ghunma al`�fiyati

endue me with achievement of wellbeing,

وَخَفِيرَ ٱلٱِسْتِقْلاَلِ

wa khaf�ra alistiql�li

safeguard against failure,

وَدَلِيلَ مُجَاوَزَةِ ٱلاهْوَالِ

wa dal�la muj�wazati al-ahw�li

guidance to survive dangers,

وَبَاعِثَ وُفُورِ ٱلْكِفَايَةِ

wa b�`itha wuf�ri alkif�yati

incentives to gain adequacy,

وَسَانِحَ خَفِيرِ ٱلْوِلاَيَةِ

wa s�ni�a khaf�ri alwil�yati

and good opportunity to be protected against authorities.

وَٱجْعَلْهُ ٱللَّهُمَّ سَبَبَ عَظِيمِ ٱلسِّلْمِ

waj`alhu all�humma sababa `a��mi alssilmi

O Allah, cause my journey to be a reason for winning marvelous security

حَاصِلَ ٱلْغُنْمِ

���ila alghunmi

and obtaining profits.

وَٱجْعَلِ ٱللَّيْلَ عَلَيَّ سِتْراً مِنَ ٱلآفَاتِ

waj`al allayla `alayya sitran min al-�f�ti

Make night cover me against banes

وَٱلنَّهَارَ مَانِعاً مِنَ ٱلْهَلَكَاتِ

walnnah�ra m�ni`an min alhalak�ti

and daytime defend me against perishing things.

وَٱقْطَعْ عَنِّي قِطَعَ لُصُوصِهِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ

waq�a` `ann� qi�a`a lu���ih� biqudratika

Out of Your omnipotence, (please) hold back the robbers from reaching me

وَٱحْرُسْنِي مِنْ وُحُوشِهِ بِقُوَّتِكَ

wa�rusn� min wu��shih� biquwwatika

and, out of Your power, guard me against the beasts

حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ ٱلسَّلاَمَةُ فِيهِ مُصَاحِبَتِي

�att� tak�na alssal�matu f�hi mu���ibat�

so that safety will accompany me in my journey,

وَٱلْعَافِيَةُ فِيهِ مُقَارِنَتِي

wal`�fiyatu f�hi muq�rinat�

wellbeing will attend me,

وَٱلْيُمْنُ سَائِقِي

walyumnu s�'iq�

good omen will be driven along with me,

وَٱلْيُسْرُ مُعَانِقِي

walyusru mu`�niq�

easiness will embrace me,

وَٱلْعُسْرُ مُفَارِقِي

wal`usru muf�riq�

difficulty will depart me,

وَٱلْفَوْزُ مُوَافِقِي

walfawzu muw�fiq�

triumph will agree with me,

وَٱلامْنُ مُرَافِقِي

wal-amnu mur�fiq�

and security will associate with me.

إِنَّكَ ذُو ٱلطَّوْلِ وَٱلْمَنِّ

innaka dh� al��awli walmanni

Verily, You are the Lord of bestowals, conferrals,

وَٱلْقُوَّةِ وَٱلْحَوْلِ

walquwwati wal�awli

power, and might,

وَانْتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

wa anta `al� kulli shay'in qad�run

and You have power over all things

وَبِعِبَادِكَ بَصِيرٌ خَبِيرٌ

wa bi`ib�dika ba��run khab�run

and You know and regard all of Your servants.

اَللَّهُمَّ ارْسِلْ عَلَيَّ سِجَالَ رِزْقِكَ مِدْرَاراً

all�humma arsil `alayya sij�la rizqika midr�ran

O Allah, send forth on me the bails of Your sustenance in abundance,

وَامْطِرْ عَلَيَّ سَحَائِبَ إِفْضَالِكَ غِزَاراً

wa am�ir `alayya sa��'iba if��lika ghiz�ran

make the clouds of Your favoring rain on me heavily,

وَادِمْ غَيْثَ نَيْلِكَ إِلَيَّ سِجَالاًَ

wa adim ghaytha naylika ilayya sij�lan

keep continuous the drizzle of Your gifts to me plenteously,

وَاسْبِلْ مَزِيدَ نِعَمِكَ عَلَىٰ خَلَّتِي إِسْبَالاًَ

wa asbil maz�da ni`amika `al� khallat� isb�lan

let the superfluity of Your graces to me fall on my neediness increasingly,

وَافْقِرْنِي بِجُودِكَ إِلَيْكَ

wa afqirn� bij�dika ilayka

make me in ceaseless need for Your magnanimity,

وَاغْنِنِي عَمَّنْ يَطْلُبُ مَا لَدَيْكَ

wa aghnin� `amman ya�lubu m� ladayka

make me dispense with those who are in want for what is possessed by You,

وَدَاوِ دَاءَ فَقْرِي بِدَوَاءِ فَضْلِكَ

wa d�wi d�'a faqr� bidaw�'i fa�lika

medicate the malady of my poverty with the remedy of Your favors,

وَٱنْعَشْ صَرْعَةَ عَيْلَتِي بِطَوْلِكَ

wan`ash �ar`ata `aylat� bi�awlika

refresh my dead dearth with Your conferrals,

وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَىٰ إِقْلاَلِي بِكَثْرَةِ عَطَائِكَ

wa ta�addaq `al� iql�l� bikathrati `a��'ika

give as alms to my scarcity Your profuse gifts,

وَعَلَىٰ ٱخْتِلاَلِي بِكَرِيمِ حِبَائِكَ

wa `al� ikhtil�l� bikar�mi �ib�'ika

and give to my shortage Your generous grants.

وَسَهِّلْ رَبِّ سَبِيلَ ٱلرِّزْقِ إِلَيَّ

wa sahhil rabbi sab�la alrrizqi ilayya

O my Lord, pave the way of sustenance towards me,

وَثَبِّتْ قَوَاعِدَهُ لَدَيَّ

wa thabbit qaw�`idah� ladayya

strengthen its foundations with me,

وَبَجِّسْ لِي عُيُونَ سَعَتِهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

wa bajjis l� `uy�na sa`atih� bira�matika

make the fountains of Your expansive mercy to gush out for me,

وَفَجِّرْ انْهَارَ رَغَدِ ٱلْعَيْشِ قِبَلِي بِرَافَتِكَ

wa fajjir anh�ra raghadi al`ayshi qibal� bira'fatika

make the rivers of opulent living to flow before me, out of Your clemency,

وَاجْدِبْ ارْضَ فَقْرِي

wa ajdib ar�a faqr�

cause the land of my poverty to be barren,

وَاخْصِبْ جَدْبَ ضُرِّي

wa akh�ib jadba �urr�

fertilize my barren harsh paucity,

وَٱصْرِفْ عَنِّي فِي ٱلرِّزْقِ ٱلْعَوَائِقَ

wa�rif `ann� f� alrrizqi al`aw�'iqa

hold off all obstacles against gaining my sustenance,

وَٱقْطَعْ عَنِّي مِنَ ٱلضِّيْقِ ٱلْعَلاَئِقَ

waq�a` `ann� min al���qi al`al�'iqa

and cut off any relationship between destitution and me.

وَٱرْمِنِي مِنْ سَعَةِ ٱلرِّزْقِ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِاخْصَبِ سِهَامِهِ

warmin� min sa`ati alrrizqi all�humma bi-akh�abi sih�mih�

O Allah, target at me the most productive arrows of opulent sustenance

وَٱحْبُنِي مِنْ رَغَدِ ٱلْعَيْشِ بِاكْثَرِ دَوَامِهِ

wa�bun� min raghadi al`ayshi bi-akthari daw�mih�

and endow me with the most perpetual affluent living.

وَٱكْسُنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ سَرَابِيلَ ٱلسَّعَةِ وَجَلاَبِيبَ ٱلدَّعَةِ

waksun� all�humma sar�b�la alssa`ati wa jal�b�ba aldda`ati

O Allah, equip me with the shirts of opulence and garments of comfort,

فَإِنِّي يَا رَبِّ مُنْتَظِرٌ لإِنْعَامِكَ بِحَذْفِ ٱلمَضِيقِ

fa'inn� y� rabbi munta�irun li'in`�mika bi�adhfi alma��qi

for, O my Lord, I expect You to do me the favor of removing my distress,

وَلِتَطَوُّلِكَ بِقَطْعِ ٱلتَّعْوِيقِ

wa lita�awwulika biqa�`i altta`w�qi

to bestow upon me with the grace of cutting off the impediment,

وَلِتَفَضُّلِكَ بِإِزَالَةِ ٱلتَّقْتِيرِ

wa litafa��ulika bi'iz�lati alttaqt�ri

to endue me with the errand of eliminating my impoverishment,

وَلِوُصُولِ حَبْلِي بِكَرَمِكَ بِٱلتَّيْسِيرِ

wa liwu��li �abl� bikaramika bilttays�ri

and to confer upon me with connecting my cord to Your generosity through facilitation of my affairs.

وَامْطِرِ ٱللَّهُمَّ عَلَيَّ سَمَاءَ رِزْقِكَ بِسِجَالِ ٱلدِّيمِ

wa am�ir all�humma `alayya sam�'a rizqika bisij�li aldd�mi

O Allah, make the sky of Your sustenance shower me with large quantities of the water of Your heavy clouds,

وَاغْنِنِي عَنْ خَلْقِكَ بِعَوَائِدِ ٱلنِّعَمِ

wa aghnin� `an khalqika bi`aw�'idi alnni`ami

make me too rich to need Your creatures through Your repetitive conferrals of favors,

وَٱرْمِ مَقَاتِلَ ٱلإِقْتَارِ مِنِّي

warmi maq�tila al-iqt�ri minn�

throw deadly shots at the vulnerable spots of my financial deprivation,

وَٱحْمِلْ كَشْفَ ٱلضُّرِّ عَنِّي

wa�mil kashfa al��urri `ann�

carry the ridding of my misfortune on behalf of me

عَلَىٰ مَطَايَا ٱلإِعْجَالِ

`al� ma��y� al-i`j�li

on the quickest riding animals,

وَٱضْرِبْ عَنِّي ٱلضِّيقَ بِسَيْفِ ٱلٱِسْتِئْصَالِ

wa�rib `ann� al���qa bisayfi alisti'i��li

and strike my distress, on behalf of me, with the exterminating sword.

وَاتْحِفْنِي رَبِّ مِنْكَ بِسَعَةِ ٱلإِفْضَالِ

wa at�ifn� rabbi minka bisa`ati al-if��li

O my Lord, present me with expansive favoring,

وَٱمْدُدْنِي بِنُمُوِّ ٱلامْوَالِ

wamdudn� binumuwwi al-amw�li

supply me with ever-growing properties,

وَٱحْرُسْنِي مِنْ ضِيقِ ٱلإِقْلاَلِ

wa�rusn� min ��qi al-iql�li

safeguard me against the distress of paucity,

وَٱقْبِضْ عَنِّي سُوءَ ٱلْجَدْبِ

waqbi� `ann� s�'a aljadbi

grasp against me the evil of aridity,

وَٱبْسُطْ لِي بِسَاطَ ٱلْخِصْبِ

wabsu� l� bis��a alkhi�bi

extend before me the carpet of fruitfulness,

وَٱسْقِنِي مِنْ مَاءِ رِزْقِكَ غَدَقاً

wasqin� min m�'i rizqika ghadaqan

serve me with copious dosages of the water of Your sustenance,

وَٱنْهَجْ لِي مِنْ عَمِيمِ بَذْلِكَ طُرُقاً

wanhaj l� min `am�mi badhlika �uruqan

pave before me many paths of Your massive abdications,

وَفَاجِئْنِي بِٱلثَّرْوَةِ وَٱلْمَالِ

wa f�ji'n� bilththarwati walm�li

surprise me with wealth and money

وَٱنْعَشْنِي بِهِ مِنَ ٱلإِقْلاَلِ

wan`ashn� bih� min al-iql�li

through which You may refresh me from scarcity,

وَصَبِّحْنِي بِٱلٱِسْتِظْهَارِ

wa �abbi�n� bilisti�h�ri

start my mornings with solvency,

وَمَسِّنِي بِٱلتَّمَكُّنِ مِنَ ٱلْيَسَارِ

wa massin� bilttamakkuni min alyas�ri

and start my evenings with ability to meet my liabilities.

إِنَّكَ ذُو ٱلطَّوْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

innaka dh� al��awli al`a��mi

Verily, You are the Lord of great bestowal,

وَٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَمِيمِ

walfa�li al`am�mi

massive favoring,

وَٱلْمَنِّ ٱلْجَسِيمِ

walmanni aljas�mi

and plentiful conferral,

وَانْتَ ٱلْجَوَادُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ

wa anta aljaw�du alkar�mu

and You are the All-magnanimous and All-generous.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مُلِمَّاتِ نَوَازِلِ ٱلْبَلاَءِ

all�humma inn� a`�dhu bika min mulimm�ti naw�zili albal�'i

O Allah, I pray Your protection against the striking mishaps of tribulation

وَاهْوَالِ عَظَائِمِ ٱلضَّرَّاءِ

wa ahw�li `a��'imi al��arr�'i

and the horrors of the unbearable adversities.

فَاعِذْنِي رَبِّ مِنْ صَرْعَةِ ٱلْبَاسَاءِ

fa'a`idhn� rabbi min �ar`ati alba's�'i

So, O my Lord, protect me against the blows of affliction,

وَٱحْجُبْنِي مِنْ سَطَوَاتِ ٱلْبَلاَءِ

wa�jubn� min sa�aw�ti albal�'i

veil me from the sways of ordeals,

وَنَجِّنِي مِنْ مُفَاجَاةِ ٱلنِّقَمِ

wa najjin� min muf�ja'ati alnniqami

save me from the surprising punishments,

وَاجِرْنِي مِنْ زَوَالِ ٱلنِّعَمِ

wa ajirn� min zaw�li alnni`ami

and shelter me against the removal of blessings

وَمِنْ زَلَلِ ٱلْقَدَمِ

wa min zalali alqadami

and the slipping of steps.

وَٱجْعَلْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ فِي حِيَاطَةِ عِزِّكَ

waj`aln� all�humma f� �iy��ati `izzika

O Allah, make me inside the fence of Your almightiness

وَحِفَاظِ حِرْزِكَ

wa �if��i �irzika

and the barrier of Your haven

مِنْ مُبَاغَتَةِ ٱلدَّوَائِرِ

min mub�ghatati alddaw�'iri

against unexpected overtaking of calamities

وَمُعَاجَلَةِ ٱلْبَوَادِرِ

wa mu`�jalati albaw�diri

and against the swift sudden misfortunes.

اَللَّهُمَّ رَبِّ وَارْضَ ٱلْبَلاَءِ فَٱخْسِفْهَا

all�humma rabbi wa ar�a albal�'i fakhsifh�

O Allah; O my Lord, (please) cause the lands of ordeals to sink down,

وَعَرْصَةَ ٱلْمِحَنِ فَٱرْجُفْهَا

wa `ar�ata almi�ani farjufh�

cause the yards of crises to quake,

وَشَمْسَ ٱلنَّوَائِبِ فَٱكْسِفْهَا

wa shamsa alnnaw�'ibi faksifh�

cast a shadow on the sun of misfortunes,

وَجِبَالَ ٱلسُّوءِ فَٱنْسِفْهَا

wa jib�la alss�'i fansifh�

uproot the mountains of evil,

وَكُرَبَ ٱلدَّهْرِ فَٱكْشِفْهَا

wa kuraba alddahri fakshifh�

remove the vicissitudes of times,

وَعَوَائِقَ ٱلامُورِ فَٱصْرِفْهَا

wa `aw�'iqa al-um�ri fa�rifh�

and drive back the obstacles in all affairs.

وَاوْرِدْنِي حِيَاضَ ٱلسَّلاَمَةِ

wa awridn� �iy��a alssal�mati

(Please) take me to the ponds of safety,

وَٱحْمِلْنِي عَلَىٰ مَطَايَا ٱلْكَرَامَةِ

wa�miln� `al� ma��y� alkar�mati

carry me on the riding animals of honor,

وَٱصْحَبْنِي بِإِقَالَةِ ٱلْعَثْرَةِ

wa��abn� bi'iq�lati al`athrati

make Your excuse of my slips to be my companion,

وَٱشْمَلْنِي بِسَتْرِ ٱلْعَوْرَةِ

washmaln� bisatri al`awrati

and include me with Your covering of my defects.

وَجُدْ عَلَيَّ يَا رَبِّ بِآلاَئِكَ

wa jud `alayya y� rabbi bi-�l�'ika

O my Lord, grant me liberally Your elegances,

وَكَشْفِ بَلاَئِكَ

wa kashfi bal�'ika

Your removal of my tribulations,

وَدَفْعِ ضَرَّائِكَ

wa daf`i �arr�'ika

and Your fending off of my adversities.

وَٱدْفَعْ عَنِّي كَلاَكِلَ عَذَابِكَ

wadfa` `ann� kal�kila `adh�bika

(Please) ward off from me the thoraxes of Your chastisement,

وَٱصْرِفْ عَنِّي الِيمَ عِقَابِكَ

wa�rif `ann� al�ma `iq�bika

repel from me Your painful punishment,

وَاعِذْنِي مِنْ بَوَائِقِ ٱلدُّهُورِ

wa a`idhn� min baw�'iqi aldduh�ri

safeguard me from the ups and downs of days,

وَانْقِذْنِي مِنْ سُوءِ عَوَاقِبِ ٱلامُورِ

wa anqidhn� min s�'i `aw�qibi al-um�ri

rescue me from the evil end results of affairs,

وَٱحْرُسْنِي مِنْ جَمِيعِ ٱلْمَحْذُورِ

wa�rusn� min jam�`i alma�dh�ri

guard me against all anticipated matters,

وَٱصْدَعْ صَفَاةَ ٱلْبَلاَءِ عَنْ امْرِي

wa�da` �af�ta albal�'i `an amr�

split the rock of tribulation in my affairs,

وَٱشْلُلْ يَدَهُ عَنِّي مَدىٰ عُمْرِي

washlul yadah� `ann� mad� `umr�

and paralyze its hand lest it reaches me as long as I am alive.

إِنَّكَ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْمَجِيدُ

innaka alrrabbu almaj�du

Verily, You are the All-glorious lord

ٱلْمُبْدِئُ ٱلْمُعِيدُ

almubdi'u almu`�du

Who originates, reproduces,

ٱلْفَعَّالُ لِمَا تُرِيدُ

alfa``�lu lim� tur�du

and does whatever He wants.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي قَصَدْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِإِخْلاَصِ تَوْبَةٍ نَصُوحٍ

all�humma inn� qa�adtu ilayka bi'ikhl��i tawbatin na���in

O Allah, I have come to You with the integrity of a sincere repentance,

وَتَثْبِيتِ عَقْدٍ صَحِيحٍ

wa tathb�ti `aqdin �a���in

the confirmation of a valid determination,

وَدُعَاءِ قَلْبٍ قَرِيحٍ

wa du`�'i qalbin qar��in

the prayer of a limpid heart,

وَإِعْلاَنِ قَوْلٍ صَرِيحٍ

wa i`l�ni qawlin �ar��in

and the declaration of a clear-cut statement.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي مُخْلَصَ ٱلتَّوْبَةِ

all�humma fataqabbal minn� mukhla�a alttawbati

So, O Allah, accept from me the sincere repentance of me,

وَإِقْبَالَ سَرِيعِ ٱلاوْبَةِ

wa iqb�la sar�`i al-awbati

the approaching of my swift turning to You,

وَمَصَارِعَ تَخَشُّعِ ٱلْحَوْبَةِ

wa ma��ri`a takhashshu`i al�awbati

and the deadly blows of my fear of Your punishment. 

وَقَابِلْ رَبِّ تَوْبَتِي بِجَزِيلِ ٱلثَّوَابِ

wa q�bil rabbi tawbat� bijaz�li alththaw�bi

O my Lord, meet my repentance with abundant reward,

وَكَرِيمِ ٱلْمَآبِ

wa kar�mi alma'�bi

generous final return,

وَحَطِّ ٱلْعِقَابِ

wa �a��i al`iq�bi

absolvement of castigation,

وَصَرْفِ ٱلْعَذَابِ

wa �arfi al`adh�bi

warding off penalty,

وَغُنْمِ ٱلإِيَابِ

wa ghunmi al-iy�bi

winning of returning to You,

وَسِتْرِ ٱلْحِجَابِ

wa sitri al�ij�bi

and covering with screen [against sinning].

وَٱمْحُ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَا ثَبَتَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي

wam�u all�humma m� thabata min dhun�b�

O Allah, erase my fixed sins,

وَٱغْسِلْ بِقَبُولِهَا جَمِيعَ عُيُوبِي

waghsil biqab�lih� jam�`a `uy�b�

wash out all my defects by accepting my repentance,

وَٱجْعَلْهَا جَالِيَةً لِقَلْبِي

waj`alh� j�liyatan liqalb�

and make my repentance to polish my heart,

شَاخِصَةً لِبَصِيرَةِ لُبِّي

sh�khi�atan liba��rati lubb�

to diagnose the insight of my mind,

غَاسِلَةً لِدَرَنِي

gh�silatan lidaran�

to rinse my filth,

مُطَهِّرَةً لِنَجَاسَةِ بَدَنِي

mu�ahhiratan linaj�sati badan�

to purify my bodily impurity,

مُصَحِّحَةً فِيهَا ضَمِيرِي

mu�a��i�atan f�h� �am�r�

to set aright my inner self,

عَاجِلَةً إِلَىٰ ٱلْوَفَاءِ بِهَا بَصِيرَتِي

`�jilatan il� alwaf�'i bih� ba��rat�

and to urge my insight to act upon it [i.e. my repentance] immediately.

وَٱقْبَلْ يَا رَبِّ تَوْبَتِي

waqbal y� rabbi tawbat�

O my Lord, admit my repentance,

فَإِنَّهَا تَصْدُرُ مِنْ إِخْلاَصِ نِيَّتِي

fa'innah� ta�duru min ikhl��i niyyat�

because it emanates from my sincere intention

وَمَحْضٍ مِنْ تَصْحِيحِ بَصِيرَتِي

wa ma��in min ta����i ba��rat�

and from the most accurate and purest form of my perception.

وَٱحْتِفَالاًَ فِي طَوِيَّتِي

wa�tif�lan f� �awiyyat�

It [i.e. my repentance] also involves perfect determination of my inner self,

وَٱجْتِهَاداً فِي نَقَاءِ سَرِيرَتِي

wajtih�dan f� naq�'i sar�rat�

an attempt to keep my soul pure,

وَتَثْبِيتاً لإِنَابَتِي

wa tathb�tan li'in�bat�

my firmness to turn to You in repentance,

وَمُسَارِعَةً إِلىٰ امْرِكَ بِطَاعَتِي

wa mus�ri`atan il� amrika bi��`at�

and my decision to run for obeying Your orders.

وَٱجْلُ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِٱلتَّوْبَةِ عَنِّي ظُلْمَةَ ٱلإِصْرَارِ

wajlu all�humma bilttawbati `ann� �ulmata al-i�r�ri

O Allah, by means of my repentance, (please) drive away the darkness of insistence on sinning from me,

وَٱمْحُ بِهَا مَا قَدَّمْتُهُ مِنَ ٱلاوْزَارِ

wam�u bih� m� qaddamtuh� min al-awz�ri

erase my burdensome sins that I have committed,

وَٱكْسُنِي لِبَاسَ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ

waksun� lib�sa alttaqw�

and dress me the clothing of piety

وَجَلاَبِيبَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ

wa jal�b�ba alhud�

and the garments of true guidance,

فَقَدْ خَلَعْتُ رِبْقَ ٱلْمَعَاصِي عَنْ جَلَدِي

faqad khala`tu ribqa alma`��� `an jalad�

for I am determined to remove the rein of acts of disobedience to You from my neck

وَنَزَعْتُ سِرْبَالَ ٱلذُّنُوبِ عَنْ جَسَدِي

wa naza`tu sirb�la aldhdhun�bi `an jasad�

and to strip the shirt of sinning of my body,

مُسْتَمْسِكاً رَبِّ بِقُدْرَتِكَ

mustamsikan rabbi biqudratika

holding fast to Your omnipotence, O my Lord,

مُسْتَعِيناً عَلَىٰ نَفْسِي بِعِزَّتِكَ

musta`�nan `al� nafs� bi`izzatika

seeking Your help against myself by Your almightiness,

مُسْتَوْدِعاً تَوْبَتِي مِنَ ٱلنَّكْثِ بِخَفْرَتِكَ

mustawdi`an tawbat� min alnnakthi bikhafratika

entrusting with You my repentance from breaching my covenant with You by Your protection of me,

مُعْتَصِماً مِنَ ٱلْخِذْلاَنِ بِعِصْمَتِكَ

mu`ta�iman min alkhidhl�ni bi`i�matika

taking refuge in Your haven against that You may disappoint me,

مُقَارِناً بِهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِكَ

muq�rinan bih� l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bika

believing that there is neither might nor power except with You.

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱرْزُقْنِي ٱلحَجَّ

all�humma urzuqn� al�ajja

O Allah, (please) grant me success to go on Hajj pilgrimage,

ٱلَّذِي ٱفْتَرَضْتَهُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلاًَ

alladh� iftara�tah� `al� man ista��`a ilayhi sab�lan

which You have imposed upon whoever is capable of going on it,

وَٱجْعَلْ لِي فِيهِ هَادِياً وَإِلَيْهِ دَلِيلاًَ

waj`al l� f�hi h�diyan wa ilayhi dal�lan

appoint for me in it a guide and a director to it,

وَقَرِّبْ لِي بُعْدَ ٱلْمَسَالِكِ

wa qarrib l� bu`da almas�liki

make accessible for me the remote paths,

وَاعِنِّي عَلَىٰ تَادِيَةِ ٱلْمَنَاسِكِ

wa a`inn� `al� ta'diyati alman�siki

help me carry out its rituals,

وَحَرِّمْ بِإِحْرَامِي عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّارِ جَسَدِي

wa �arrim bi'i�r�m� `al� alnn�ri jasad�

prevent fire from consuming my b0dy due to my entering into the state of ritual consecration,

وَزِدْ لِلسَّفَرِ قُوَّتِي وَجَلَدِي

wa zid lilssafari quwwat� wa jalad�

and increase my power and my endurance on my �ajj journey.

وَٱرْزُقْنِي رَبِّ ٱلْوُقُوفَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

warzuqn� rabbi alwuq�fa bayna yadayka

O my Lord, grant me the opportunity to present myself in Your Presence

وَٱلإِفَاضَةَ إِلَيْكَ

wal-if��ata ilayka

and to hasten my steps to You

وَاظْفِرْنِي بِٱلنُّجْحِ بِوَافِرِ ٱلرِّبْحِ

wa a�firn� bilnnuj�i biw�firi alrrib�i

and grant me success in obtaining abundant gain.

وَاصْدِرْنِي رَبِّ مِنْ مَوْقِفِ ٱلْحَجِّ ٱلاكْبَرِ

wa a�dirn� rabbi min mawqifi al�ajji al-akbari

My Lord, grant me opportunity to attach the situation of the grand �ajj

إِلَىٰ مُزْدَلَفَةِ ٱلْمَشْعَرِ

il� muzdalafati almash`ari

to Muzdalifah, the holy monument,

وَٱجْعَلْهَا زُلْفَةً إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ

waj`alh� zulfatan il� ra�matika

deciding it to be a nearer step towards Your mercy

وَطَرِيقاً إِلَىٰ جَنَّتِكَ

wa �ar�qan il� jannatika

and a path towards Your Paradise.

وَقِفْنِي مَوْقِفَ ٱلْمَشْعِرَ ٱلْحَرَامِ

wa qifn� mawqifa almash`ira al�ar�mi

Help me to stop at the situation of the Holy Monument

وَمَقَامَ وُقُوفِ ٱلإِحْرَامِ

wa maq�ma wuq�fi al-i�r�mi

and the situation of the ritual consecration.

وَاهِلَّنِي لِتَادِيَةِ ٱلْمَنَاسِكِ

wa ahillan� lita'diyati alman�siki

Prepare me to carry out the rituals,

وَنَحْرِ ٱلْهَدْيِ ٱلتَّوَامِكِ

wa na�ri alhadyi alttaw�miki

to immolate the offertory camels,

بِدَمٍ يَثُجُّ وَاوْدَاجٍ تَمُجُّ

bidamin yathujju wa awd�jin tamujju

causing their blood to gush forth and their throats to be cut off,

وَإِرَاقَةِ ٱلدِّمَاءِ ٱلْمَسْفُوحَةِ

wa ir�qati alddim�'i almasf��ati

and make me shed the poured out blood (of these animals),

وَٱلْهَدَايَا ٱلْمَذْبُوحَةِ

walhad�y� almadhb��ati

offer the slaughtered offertory animals,

وَفَرْيِ اوْدَاجِهَا عَلَىٰ مَا امَرْتَ

wa faryi awd�jih� `al� m� amarta

cut off their throats as exactly as You have instructed,

وَٱلتَّنَفُّلِ بِهَا كَمَا وَسَمْتَ

walttanaffuli bih� kam� wasamta

and submit them as presents as exactly as You have prescribed.

وَاحْضِرْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ صَلاَةَ ٱلْعِيدِ

wa a��irn� all�humma �al�ta al`�di

O Allah, make me present myself at the Feast Prayer,

رَاجِياً لِلْوَعْدِ

r�jiyan lilwa`di

hoping for what You have promised to give,

خَائِفاً مِنَ ٱلْوَعِيدِ

kh�'ifan min alwa`�di

fearful of what You have threatened Your punishment,

حَالِقاً شَعْرَ رَاسِي وَمُقَصِّراً

��liqan sha`ra ra's� wa muqa��iran

shaving or cutting short the hair of my head,

وَمُجْتَهِداً فِي طَاعَتِكَ مُشَمِّراً

wa mujtahidan f� ��`atika mushammiran

exerting all efforts to obey You painstakingly,

رَامِياً لِلْجِمَارِ

r�miyan liljim�ri

and throwing at the statues

بِسَبْعٍ بَعْدَ سَبْعٍ مِنَ ٱلاحْجَارِ

bisab`in ba`da sab`in min al-a�j�ri

seven pebbles after seven.

وَادْخِلْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ عَرْصَةَ بَيْتِكَ وَعَقْوَتِكَ

wa adkhiln� all�humma `ar�ata baytika wa `aqwatika

O Allah, make me to enter the court and the yard of Your house,

وَمَحَلَّ امْنِكَ وَكَعْبَتِكَ

wa ma�alla amnika wa ka`batika

the place of Your security, Your Ka`bah,

وَمَسَاكِينِكَ وَسُؤَّالِكَ وَمَحَاوِيجِكَ

wa mas�k�naka wa su''�lika wa ma��w�jika

and to give to the poor, the beggars, and the needy who ask from You.

وَجُدْ عَلَيَّ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِوَافِرِ ٱلاجْرِ

wa jud `alayya all�humma biw�firi al-ajri

O Allah, endue me generously with abundant reward

مِنَ ٱلٱِنْكِفَاءِ وَٱلنَّفْرِ

min alinkif�'i walnnafri

after my return and in my journey back.

وَٱخْتِمِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَنَاسِكَ حَجِّي

wakhtim all�humma man�sika �ajj�

O Allah, seal my performance of the rituals of �ajj

وَٱنْقِضَاءَ عَجِّي

wanqi��'a `ajj�

and the termination of my cries with the statements of response to You

بِقَبُولٍ مِنْكَ لِي

biqab�lin minka l�

with acceptance from You

وَرَافَةٍ مِنْكَ بِي

wa ra'fatin minka b�

and with clemency that You show me.

يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

y� ar�ama alrr��im�na

O most merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ ظُلْمَ عِبَادِكَ قَدْ تَمَكَّنَ فِي بِلاَدِكَ

all�humma inna �ulma `ib�dika qad tamakkana f� bil�dika

O Allah, the persecutions against Your servant have become so prevalent in Your lands

حَتَّىٰ امَاتَ ٱلْعَدْلَ

�att� am�ta al`adla

that it has put an end to justice,

وَقَطَعَ ٱلسُّبُلَ

wa qa�a`a alssubula

interrupted all ways,

وَمَحَقَ ٱلْحَقَّ

wa ma�aqa al�aqqa

eradicated the right,

وَابْطَلَ ٱلصِّدْقَ

wa ab�ala al��idqa

thwarted truthfulness,

وَاخْفَىٰ ٱلْبِرَّ

wa akhf� albirra

enshrouded charity,

وَاظْهَرَ ٱلشَّرَّ

wa a�hara alshsharra

demonstrated evil,

وَاخْمَدَ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ

wa akhmada alttaqw�

extinguished piety,

وَازَالَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ

wa az�la alhud�

removed true guidance,

وَازَاحَ ٱلْخَيْرَ

wa az��a alkhayra

dislodged decency,

وَاثْبَتَ ٱلضَّيْرَ

wa athbata al��ayra

planted harm,

وَانْمَىٰ ٱلْفَسَادَ

wa anm� alfas�da

promoted corruption,

وَقَوَّىٰ ٱلْعِنَادَ

wa qaww� al`in�da

strengthened obstinacy,

وَبَسَطَ ٱلْجَوْرَ

wa basa�a aljawra

spread out prejudice,

وَعَدَىٰ ٱلطَّوْرَ

wa `ad� al��awra

and exceeded all bounds.

اَللَّهُمَّ يَا رَبِّ لاَ يَكْشِفُ ذٰلِكَ إِلاَّ سُلْطَانُكَ

all�humma y� rabbi l� yakshifu dh�lika ill� sul��nuka

O Allah! O my Lord, nothing can eliminate all that except Your authority

وَلاَ يُجِيرُ مِنْهُ إِلاَّ ٱمْتِنَانُكَ

wa l� yuj�ru minhu ill� imtin�nuka

and nothing can deliver from it except Your obliging favors.

اَللَّهُمَّ رَبِّ فَٱبْتُرِ الظُّلْمَ

all�humma rabbi fabtur al��ulma

O Allah! O my Lord, (please) mutilate persecution,

وَبُثَّ جِبَالَ ٱلْغَشْمِ

wa buththa jib�la alghashmi

demolish the mountains of oppression,

وَاخْمِدْ سُوقَ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ

wa akhmid s�qa almunkari

stagnate the business of evil,

وَاعِزَّ مَنْ عَنْهُ يَنْزَجِرُ

wa a`izza man `anhu yanzajiru

grant victory to those who deter from it,

وَٱحْصُدْ شَافَةَ اهْلِ ٱلْجَوْرِ

wa��ud sha'fata ahli aljawri

harvest the roots of the people of prejudice,

وَالْبِسْهُمُ ٱلْحَوْرَ بَعْدَ ٱلْكَوْرِ

wa albishumu al�awra ba`da alkawri

and attire them with shrinkage after escalation.

وَعَجِّلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْبَيَاتَ

wa `ajjili all�humma ilayhim albay�ta

O Allah, afflict them with inaction immediately,

وَانْزِلْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَثُلاَتِ

wa anzil `alayhim almathul�ti

send down on them exemplary punishments,

وَامِتْ حَيَاةَ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ

wa amit �ay�ta almunkari

and put to death the life of wickedness

لِيُؤْمَنَ ٱلْمَخُوفُ

liyu'mana almakh�fu

so that the terrorized will be secured,

وَيَسْكُنَ ٱلْمَلْهُوفُ

wa yaskuna almalh�fu

the terrified will calm down,

وَيَشْبَعَ ٱلْجَائِعُ

wa yashba`a alj�'i`u

the hungry will become full,

وَيُحْفَظَ ٱلضَّائِعُ

wa yu�fa�a al���'i`u

the lost will be guarded,

وَيَاوِي ٱلطَّرِيدُ

wa ya'w� al��ar�du

the fugitive will find a place of settlement,

وَيَعُودَ ٱلشَّرِيدُ

wa ya`�da alshshar�du

the escapee will return home,

وَيُغْنَىٰ ٱلْفَقِيرُ

wa yughn� alfaq�ru

the poor will be satisfied,

وَيُجَارَ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرُ

wa yuj�ra almustaj�ru

the refugee will be sheltered,

وَيُوَقَّرَ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

wa yuwaqqara alkab�ru

the old will be respected,

وَيُرْحَمَ ٱلصَّغِيرُ

wa yur�ama al��agh�ru

the infants will be shown mercy,

وَيُعَزَّ ٱلْمَظْلُومُ

wa yu`azza alma�l�mu

the wronged will be treated fairly,

وَيُذَلَّ ٱلظَّالِمُ

wa yudhalla al���limu

the wrongdoers will be humiliated,

وَيُفَرَّجَ ٱلْمَغْمُومُ

wa yufarraja almaghm�mu

the distressed will be relieved,

وَتَنْفَرِجَ ٱلْغَمَّاءُ

wa tanfarija alghamm�'u

the agonies will be driven away,

وَتَسْكُنَ ٱلدَّهْمَاءُ

wa taskuna alddahm�'u

the populace will find rest,

وَيَمُوتَ ٱلٱِخْتِلاَفُ

wa yam�ta alikhtil�fu

discrepancy will be wiped out,

وَيَعْلُوَ ٱلْعِلْمُ

wa ya`luwa al`ilmu

knowledge will be exalted,

وَيَشْمُلَ ٱلسِّلْمُ

wa yashmula alssilmu

peace will be prevalent,

وَيُجْمَعَ ٱلشَّتَاتُ

wa yujma`a alshshat�tu

dispersion will be amassed,

وَيَقْوَىٰ ٱلإِيـمَانُ

wa yaqw� al-�m�nu

faith will be strengthened,

وَيُتْلَىٰ ٱلْقُرْآنُ

wa yutl� alqur'�nu

and the Qur'�n will be practically recited.

إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلدَّيَّانُ ٱلْمُنْعِمُ ٱلْمَنَّانُ

innaka anta alddayy�nu almun`imu almann�nu

Verily, You are the Master, the Munificent, and the Favorer.

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ

all�humma laka al�amdu

O Allah, all praise be to You

عَلَىٰ مَرَدِّ نَوَازِلِ ٱلْبَلاَءِ

`al� maraddi naw�zili albal�'i

for driving away the imminent misfortunes

وَمُلِمَّاتِ ٱلضَّرَّاءِ

wa mulimm�ti al��arr�'i

and the wrapping harms,

وَكَشْفِ نَوَائِبِ ٱللَّاوَاءِ

wa kashfi naw�'ibi alla'w�'i

for relieving from the calamitous hardships,

وَتَوَالِي سُبُوغِ ٱلنَّعْمَاءِ

wa taw�l� sub�ghi alnna`m�'i

and for the succession of the profuse blessings.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ هَنِيءِ عَطَائِكَ

wa laka al�amdu `al� han�'i `a��'ika

All praise be to You for Your pleasant bestowals,

وَمَحْمُودِ بَلاَئِكَ

wa ma�m�di bal�'ika

praiseworthy conferrals,

وَجَلِيلِ آلاَئِكَ

wa jal�li �l�'ika

and great boons.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ إِحْسَانِكَ ٱلْكَثِيرِ

wa laka al�amdu `al� i�s�nika alkath�ri

All praise be to You for Your very much benevolence,

وَخَيْرِكَ ٱلْغَزِيرِ

wa khayrika alghaz�ri

torrential welfare,

وَتَكْلِيفِكَ ٱلْيَسِيرِ

wa takl�fika alyas�ri

and easy-to-do obligations

وَدَفْعِ ٱلْعَسِيرِ

wa daf`i al`as�ri

and for Your driving away the difficulties.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ

wa laka al�amdu y� rabbi

All praise be to You, O Lord,

عَلَىٰ تَثْمِيرِكَ قَلِيلَ ٱلشُّكْرِ

`al� tathm�rika qal�la alshshukri

for multiplying the little thanksgiving,

وَإِعْطَائِكَ وَافِرَ ٱلاجْرِ

wa i`��'ika w�fira al-ajri

enduing with abundant rewards,

وَحَطِّكَ مُثْقَلَ ٱلْوِزْرِ

wa �a��ika muthqala alwizri

excusing the heavy burdens,

وَقَبُولِكَ ضَيِّقَ ٱلْعُذْرِ

wa qab�lika �ayyiqa al`udhri

accepting the improper apologies,

وَوَضْعِكَ بَاهِضَ ٱلإِصْرِ

wa wa�`ika b�hi�a al-i�ri

lessening the exorbitant loads,

وَتَسْهِيلِكَ مَوْضِعَ ٱلْوَعْرِ

wa tas-h�lika maw�i`a alwa`ri

making easy the difficult situations,

وَمَنْعِكَ مُفْظِعَ ٱلامْرِ

wa man`ika muf�i`a al-amri

and dispelling the horrible matters.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْبَلاَءِ ٱلْمَصْرُوفِ

wa laka al�amdu `al� albal�'i alma�r�fi

All praise be to You for Your dispelling the misfortunes,

وَوَافِرِ ٱلْمَعْرُوفِ

wa w�firi alma`r�fi

Your granting abundant charity,

وَدَفْعِ ٱلْمَخُوفِ

wa daf`i almakh�fi

Your driving away the terrifying matters,

وَإِذْلاَلِ ٱلْعَسُوفِ

wa idhl�li al`as�fi

and Your facilitating the oppressive issues.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ قِلَّةِ ٱلتَّكْلِيفِ

wa laka al�amdu `al� qillati alttakl�fi

All praise be to You for the little mandates,

وَكَثْرَةِ ٱلتَّخْفِيفِ

wa kathrati alttakhf�fi

the much alleviation,

وَتَقْوِيَةِ ٱلضَّعِيفِ

wa taqwiyati al��a`�fi

the strengthening of the feeble,

وَإِغَاثَةِ ٱللَّهِيفِ

wa igh�thati all�h�fi

and the assisting of the distressed.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ سَعَةِ إِمْهَالِكَ

wa laka al�amdu `al� sa`ati imh�lika

All praise be to You for Your long-term respite,

وَدَوَامِ إِفْضَالِكَ

wa daw�mi if��lika

Your incessant favoring,

وَصَرْفِ إِمْحَالِكَ

wa �arfi im��lika

Your chasing off fruitlessness,

وَحَمِيدِ افْعَالِكَ

wa �am�di af`�lika

Your praiseworthy deeds,

وَتَوَالِي نَوَالِكَ

wa taw�l� naw�lika

and Your continuous donations.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ تَاخِيرِ مُعَاجَلَةِ ٱلْعِقَابِ

wa laka al�amdu `al� ta'kh�ri mu`�jalati al`iq�bi

All praise be to You for putting off the looming punishment,

وَتَرْكِ مُغَافَصَةِ ٱلْعَذَابِ

wa tarki mugh�fa�ati al`adh�bi

shunning sudden chastisement,

وَتَسْهِيلِ طَرِيقِ ٱلْمَآبِ

wa tas-h�li �ar�qi alma'�bi

paving the way back to You,

وَإِنْزَالِ غَيْثِ ٱلسَّحَابِ

wa inz�li ghaythi alssa��bi

and sending down the rain of the clouds.

إِنَّكَ ٱلْمَنَّانُ ٱلْوَهَّابُ

innaka almann�nu alwahh�bu

Verily, You are the All-tender, the All-donor.

جَدِيرٌ مَنْ امَرْتَهُ بِٱلدُّعَاءِ انْ يَدْعُوَكَ

jad�run man amartah� bilddu`�'i an yad`waka

He whom You have ordered to pray You is worthily required to pray You

وَمَنْ وَعَدْتَهُ بِٱلإِجَابَةِ انْ يَرْجُوَكَ

wa man wa`adtah� bil-ij�bati an yarjwaka

and he whom You have promised to respond to his prayers is worthily required to hope for Your response.

وَلِيَ ٱللَّهُمَّ حَاجَةٌ

wa liya all�humma ��jatun

O Allah, I have a request [that I need You to grant]

قَدْ عَجَزَتْ عَنْهَا حِيلَتِي

qad `ajazat `anh� ��lat�

that I am too short to fulfill,

وَكَلَّتْ فِيهَا طَاقَتِي

wa kallat f�h� ��qat�

too powerless to do,

وَضَعُفَ عَنْ مَرَامِهَا قُوَّتِي

wa �a`ufa `an mar�mih� quwwat�

and too weak to attain.

وَسَوَّلَتْ لِي نَفْسِيَ ٱلامَّارَةُ بِٱلسُّوءِ

wa sawwalat l� nafsiya al-amm�ratu bilss�'i

My soul that is prone to evil

وَعَدُوِّي ٱلْغَرُورُ ٱلَّذِي انَا مِنْهُ مَبْلُوٌّ

wa `aduwwiya alghar�ru alladh� ana minhu mabluwwun

and my deceiving archenemy from whom I am suffering

انْ ارْغَبَ إِلَيْكَ فِيهَا

an arghaba ilayka f�h�

have beguiled me into shunning wishing for Your help in this request.

اَللَّهُمَّ وَانْجِحْهَا بِايْمَنِ ٱلنَّجَاحِ

all�humma wa anji�h� bi-aymani alnnaj��i

O Allah, so (please) grant my request the most blissful success,

وَٱهْدِهَا سَبِيلَ ٱلْفَلاَحِ

wahdih� sab�la alfal��i

direct it towards the path of prosperity,

وَٱشْرَحْ بِٱلرَّجَاءِ لإِسْعَافِكَ صَدْرِي

washra� bilrraj�'i li'is`�fika �adr�

expand my breast with hopeful petition for Your relief,

وَيَسِّرْ فِي اسْبَابِ ٱلْخَيْرِ امْرِي

wa yassir f� asb�bi alkhayri amr�

facilitate my affairs through the ways of welfare,

وَصَوِّرْ إِلَيَّ ٱلْفَوْزَ بِبُلُوغِ مَا رَجَوْتُهُ

wa �awwir ilayya alfawza bibul�ghi m� rajawtuh�

and establish for me triumph through making me attain what I have hoped for

بِٱلْوُصُولِ إِلىٰ مَا امَّلْتُهُ

bilwu��li il� m� ammaltuh�

and gain what I have wished for.

وَوَفِّقْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ فِي قَضَاءِ حَاجَتِي

wa waffiqn� all�humma f� qa��'i ��jat�

O Allah, (please) grant me access to the fulfillment of my requests

بِبُلُوغِ امْنِيَّتِي

bibul�ghi umniyyat�

through attainment of my wish

وَتَصْدِيقِ رَغْبَتِي

wa ta�d�qi raghbat�

and achievement of my desire.

وَاعِذْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ بِكَرَمِكَ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْبَةِ وَٱلْقُنُوطِ

wa a`idhn� all�humma bikaramika min alkhaybati walqun��i

O Allah, in the name of Your Nobility, (please) protect me against disappointment, despair,

وَٱلانَاةِ وَٱلتَّثْبِيطِ

wal-an�ti walttathb��i

despondency, and frustration.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ مَلِي‏ءٌ بِٱلْمَنَائِحِ ٱلْجَزِيلَةِ

all�humma innaka mal�'un bilman�'i�i aljaz�lati

O Allah, You are full of plentiful gifts,

وَفِيٌّ بِهَا

wafiyyun bih�

You are true to Your words,

وَانْتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

wa anta `al� kulli shay'in qad�run

You have power over all things,

بِعِبَادِكَ خَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ

bi`ib�dika khab�run ba��run

and You know and regard all of Your servants.
