O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad;I ask You, O Lord of the seven heavens and seven earths and what is in them and what is between them,
Lord of the “ … seven oft-repeated (verses) and the mighty Qur’an” (15:87), Lord of Jibra’il, Mika’il, Israfil and Lord of all the angels,
Lord of Muhammad, blessings of Allah on him and his family, seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and Lord of all creation;
I ask You, O Allah, by Your Name by which the heavens are upheld and by which the earths are upheld, by which You reckon the measure of the seas and the weight of the mountains, by which You cause the living to die and by which You cause the dead to rise, by which You raise up the clouds and send forth the wind, by which You provide for mankind and by which You reckon the number of tracts of sand, by which You do what You will and by which You say to a thing “ … ‘Be!’ and it is ’’ (2:117), to meet my need with Your sufficiency, to answer my prayer and grant me my request and desire, and to give me relief from You, by Your Mercy, in soundness,
to make me secure from my fear and make me live among the most complete blessings and in the greatest soundness, the most excellent provision and in ease and plenty,
to grant me gratitude for what You have bestowed on me and make that come to me completely, forever, as long as I live, until that links up with the blessings of the Hereafter…
O Allah, in Your Hand are the decrees of this world and the Hereafter, of the night and the day, of death and life; in Your Hand are the decrees of victory and failure, of good and evil…
O Allah, bless me in my religion which is the foundation of my affair,
My world in which is my livelihood and my Hereafter to which is my return; and bless me in all my affairs...
O Allah, You are Allah, there is no god but You. Your promise is true and meeting You is true.
I take refuge in You from the evil of the living and the dead, I take refuge in You from the temptation of the Dajjal,
I take refuge in You from doubt, immorality, indolence and incapacity;
I take refuge in You from niggardliness and extravagance.
O Allah, there has proceeded from me in the past that which I have earned and committed against myself, and You, my Lord, have command of me in what I do not.
You created me, my Lord, and were alone, independent in my creation And I was nothing, except through You.
Good is only from You, and evil was never averted from me except that which You turned away from me…
You taught me, my Lord, what I did not know, You provided me, my Lord, what I do not possess and did not reckon,
You brought to me, my Lord, what I had not hoped for, and You gave me, my Lord, what my hopes fell short of, therefore to You belongs Praise, in abundance.
O Forgiver of Sins, forgive me and grant me in my heart contentment, which will make light for me the misfortunes of this world and the next.
O Allah, open for me, O Lord, the door in which is relief, well-being and good, all of it.
O Allah, open for me its door and guide me to its path and build for me its way out…
O Allah, whomsoever You have empowered over me among Your servants and given authority over something of my affairs,
Seize away from me their hearts, their tongues, their hearing and their sight, before them, behind them, above them and below them, from their right and their left,
From wherever You wish, however You wish and whenever You wish, so that none of them reach me with evil.
O Allah, put me in Your protection and Your safeguard...
Invincible is Your protection and Majestic is Your Praise and there is no god but You.
You are the Security and from You is the security.
I ask You, “ …. Possessor of Majesty and Honour” (55:78), To release me from the Fire and to make me dwell in Your abode, the “ … abode of peace” (10:25).
O Allah, I ask You of the good, all of it, the immediate and the future, And I take refuge in You from evil, all of it, the immediate and the future, that which I know of and that which I do not know.
I ask You of the good, all of it, that for which I pray, and that for which I do not pray, and I take refuge in You from evil, all of it, what I fear from and what I do not fear.
I ask You to provide for me from where I reckon and from where I reckon not.
O Allah, I am Your slave – the son of Your bondsman and the son of Your bondswoman – in Your Grasp; my forelock is in Your Hand.
Accomplished in me is Your Judgement; Just concerning me is Your Decree….
I ask You by every Name that belongs to You, by which You have named Yourself or which You have revealed in any of Your Books or taught any of Your creatures or chosen exclusively for Yourself through Your knowledge of the unseen, to bless Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, Your servant, Your Messenger and Your chosen one from among Your creatures, and the family of Muhammad, the pure, the good, to have mercy on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and commend Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You have blessed, commended and had mercy on Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim;
“ … Surely You are Praiseworthy, All-glorious” (11:73);
And to make the Qur’an a light in my breast, facilitate through it my affair, open through it my breast,
Make it the ease of my heart, the dispeller of my grief, the remover of my anxiety and sadness; a light in my eating, a light in my drinking, a light in my hearing, a light in my sight, a light in my brain, my bones, my sinews,
My hair and my skin, before me, above me, below me, from my right and from my left; a light in my death, an light in my life,
A light in my grave, a light in my resurrection and a light in everything of me until You make me attain the Garden….
O Light of the heavens and the earth!
You are as You have described Yourself by Your true saying;
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth; the likeness of His Light is as a niche wherein is a lamp – the lamp in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star – lit from a Blessed Tree,
an olive that is neither of the East nor of the West whose oil almost glows forth, even if no fire touched it;
Light upon Light; Allah guides to His Light whom He will.
And Allah sets forth parables for people, and Allah has knowledge of everything” (24:35),
O Allah, guide me by Your Light, and make for me on the Day of Judgement a light before me and behind me, from my right and from my left, by which I will be guided to the “ .. Abode of peace” (10:25),
O “ … Possessor of Majesty and Honour” (55:78),
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in myself, my family, my children and my wealth, and that You clothe me in that with forgiveness and well-being...
O Allah, I ask You pardon and well-being in this world and the next.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,
And protect me from before me and behind me,
From my right and my left, from above me and below me.
I take refuge in You,
“ O Allah, Master of the Kingdom, You give the Kingdom to whom You will and take away the Kingdom from whom You will; You exalt whom You will and You abase whom You will; in Your Hand is the good, You are powerful over everything.
You cause the night to pass into the day and You cause the day to pass into the night; You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living, and You give sustenance to whomsoever You will without measure” (3:26-27).
O All-merciful of this world and the Hereafter and its All-compassionate!
You give among them whom You will and You deny among them whom You will; bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and have mercy on me, discharge my debt, forgive me my sin and fulfil my requests; “ … Surely You are powerful over everything (3:26)…
O Allah, I ask You for You are King, and whatever You will of an affair happens.
O Allah, I ask of You a true faith and a firm certainty not accompanied by doubt, humility not accompanied by pride,
And mercy by which I will attain the honour of Your estimation in this world and the Hereafter;
“ …. Surely You are powerful over everything” (3:26);
and may Allah bless Muhammad and his family, the good, the pure, by Your Mercy, O Most merciful of the merciful…… |
