ZIYªRAH ON THURSDAYS   Mp3  Video

This day is dedicated to Imam al-°asan ibn `Al¢ al-`Askar¢, peace be upon him. So, when you visit him on Thursdays, you are recommended to say the following:

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱللَّهِ

alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ waliyya all¡hi

Peace be upon you, O saint of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَالِصَتَهُ

alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ ¦ujjata all¡hi wa kh¡li¥atah£

Peace be upon you, O argument of Allah and His choicest!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ

alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ im¡ma almu'min¢na

Peace be upon you, O leader of the faithful believers,

وَوَارِثَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa w¡ritha almursal¢na

inheritor of the messengers,

وَحُجَّةَ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

wa ¦ujjata rabbi al`¡lam¢na

and argument of the Lord of the Worlds!

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ 

¥all¡ all¡hu `alayka wa `al¡ ¡li baytika

May Allah send peace upon you and upon your Household,

ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

al§§ayyib¢na al§§¡hir¢na

the pure and immaculate!

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا ابَا مُحَمَّدٍ

y¡ mawl¡ya y¡ ab¡ mu¦ammadin

O my master, O Ab£-Mu¦ammad,

ٱلْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

al¦asana ibna `aliyyin

al-°asan, the son of `Al¢!

انَا مَوْلىٰ لَكَ وَلآِلِ بَيْتِكَ

an¡ mawlan laka wa li-¡li baytika

I am a servant of you and of your Household

وَهٰذَا يَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخَمِيسِ

wa h¡dh¡ yawmuka wa huwa yawmu alkham¢si

and today is your day, which is Thursday,

وَانَا ضَيْفُكَ فِيهِ وَمُسْتَجِيرٌ بِكَ فِيهِ

wa an¡ ¤ayfuka f¢hi wa mustaj¢run bika f¢hi

and on this day, I am your guest and in your vicinity;

فَاحْسِنْ ضِيَافَتِي وَإِجَارَتِي

fa-a¦sin ¤iy¡fat¢ wa ij¡rat¢

so, receive me hospitably as your guest and neighbor,

بِحَقِّ آلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

bi¦aqqi ¡li baytika al§§ayyib¢na al§§¡hir¢na

[I ask you] in the name of your Household, the pure and immaculate.

O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Peace be on you, O intimate friend of Allah Peace be on you, O the decisive argument of Allah, sincerely attached to Him Peace be on you, O Guide Leader of the faithfuls inheritor of the Messengers, clear convincing sign of the Lord of the worlds, blessings of Allah be on you, and on your pure and pious children O Mawlaa, O Abaa Muhammad, Hasan son of Ali, I am your obedient follower and of your children, today is your day, Thursday, I come near you today seek your close friendship receive me with open arms, and keep me close, for the sake of your pure and pious children.

O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.

BISMILLAHIR-RAH’MAANIR-RAH’EEM

ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA WALIYYAALLAAH ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA H’JJATALLAAH WA KHAALIS’ATAHOO ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA IMAAMUL MOO-MINEENA WA WAARITHAL MURSA-LEENA WA H’UJJATA RABBIL A’ALAMEEN S’ALLALLAAHU A’LAYKA WA A’LAA AALI BAYTIKAT’ T’AYYIBEENAT’ T’AAHIREEN YA MAWLAAYA YAA ABAA MUH’AMMAD H’ASANABNA A’LIYY ANAA MAWLAN LAKA WA LI-AALI BAYTIKA WA HAAD’AA YAWMUKA WA HUWA YAWMUL KHAMEES WA ANAA Z”AYFUKA FEEHI WA MUSTAJEERUN BIKA FEEHEE FA-AH’SIN Z”IYAAFATEE WA IJAARATEE BI-H’AQQI AALI BAYTIKAT’T’AYYIBEENAT’ T’AAHIREEN
