Offering Two Rakat Nafilah before Fajr salaat is recommended.

Holy Prophet (Saws) DUA AFTER the 'Nafilah' of Fajr  In a narration from Jafar ibn Muhammad:
When the Noble Prophet (saws) had prayed two rakahs before the morning prayer, he laid down on his right side and placed his right hand under his right cheek, then said:

I have laid hold of the firmest handle of Allah (saws) which shall not break off and I have clung to the strong rope of Allah.

 

I seek refuge with Allah from the outbursts of the Arab and the non-Arab, and I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of the devils from the man and jinn.

 

I trust in Allah. I seek the fulfillment of my needs from Allah. Allah is enough for me and He is the best Procurator, there is no power or might but by (the will of) Allah the Sublime, the Mighty.

إِسْتَمْسَكْتُ بِعُرْوَةِ اللّٰهِ الْوُثْقى الَّتِي لاَ انْفِصَامَ لَهَا، وَاسْتَعْصَمْتُ بِحَبْلِ اللّٰهِ الْمَتِينِ.

 

 أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ فَوْرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ شَرِّ شَيَاطِينِ الإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ.

 

 تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلـى اللّٰهِ، طَلَبْتُ حَاجَتِي مِنَ اللّٰهِ، حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ ونِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ.
   

Ibne Babawayah Qummi has reported from Imam Muhammad Baqir (as) has recommended to recite 70 times:-

I pray for the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him.

 Astaghfirullaha rabbi wa atoobu ilayhi

اسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ وَ اتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

  

It has been reported from Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) that whoever recites 100 times following will not encounter any unpleasantness during that day.
And there is no power or power-acquiring Except through God, the High, and the Mighty�. Mashallaho kana la hawlava laquwato illa bilahil aliyul azim

ماشاءَ الله كانَ ل حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلاّ بِالله العَلي العَظيمِ 

Recite 11 times Sura Ikhlas, and 10 times Sura  Qadr.

In Tahdhub al-Ahkam (by Shaykh al-Tusi), it is reported that whoever repeats the following ten times after the Dawn Prayers, Almighty Allah will save him from blindness, insanity, leprosy, poverty, and (house) demolition :This supplication, which is reported from Imam `Ali Amir al-Mu'minun (`a) at the Night of Mabut,is said each morning and evening.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

sub��na all�hi al`a��mi wa bi�amdih�

All glory be to Allah, the All-great and in praise of Him;

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

wa l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bill�hi al`aliyyi al`a��mi

and there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high and All-great.
Shaykh al-Kulayni reports Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (`a) as saying: Whoever repeats the following seven times after the Dawn and Sunset Prayers, Almighty Allah will saved him from seventy kinds of misfortune the least of which are leprosy, and insanity; and his name will be erased from the list of the condemned ones, if it was llisted there, and will be added to the list of the happy ones:

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismi all�hi alrra�m�ni alrra��mi

In the Name of Allah the All-compassionate, the All-merciful;

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bill�hi al`aliyyi al`a��mi

there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high and All-great.
 
 

Recite the following(known as the DUA'A of Imam Jafar bin Muhammad al Sadiq 25 times:
O Allah, forgive all believing men and believing women, and all Muslim men and Muslim women. Allahumma Maghfirli Momineen wal mominaat muslemeen wal muslimaat
In `Uddat al-D�`�, Shaykh Ibn Fahad reports Imam `Al� ibn M�s� al-Ri�� (`a) to have said: Whoever says the following dua after the Dawn Prayer, will have all his requests granted for him and will be saved by Allah against every thing that aggrieves him:  MP3   Video  Pdf  Image

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ

bismill�hi

In the Name of Allah.

وَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّد وآلِهِ

wa �all� all�hu `al� mu�ammadin wa �lih�

May Allah bless Mu�ammad and his Household.

وَافَوِّضُ امْرِي إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ

wa ufawwi�u amr� il� all�hi

�I confide my cause unto Allah.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَصيرٌ بِٱلْعِبَادِ

inna all�ha ba��run bil`ib�di

Surely, Allah watches His slaves.

فَوَقَاهُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا

fawaq�hu all�hu sayyi'�ti m� makar�

 So, Allah warded off from him the evils which they plotted.�

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ

l� il�ha ill� anta sub��naka

�There is no god save You. Be You Glorified!

إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّالِمِيـنَ

inn� kuntu mina al���lim�na

Lo! I have been a wrongdoer.

فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ ٱلغَمِّ

fastajabn� lah� wa najjayn�hu mina alghammi

Then, We heard his prayer and saved him from the anguish.

وَكَذٰلِكَ  نُنْجِي ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ

wa kadh�lika nunj� almu'min�na

Thus do We save the believers.�

حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ

�asbun� all�hu wa ni`ma alwak�lu

�Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust.

فَٱنَقَلَبُوٱ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ

fanqalab� bini`matin mina all�hi wa fa�lin

So, they returned with grace and favor from Allah,

لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ

lam yamsas-hum s�'un

and no harm touched them.�

مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ

m� sh�'a all�hu

Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass.

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ

l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bill�hi

There is neither strength nor power save with Allah.

مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ لاَ مَا شَاءَ ٱلنَّاسُ

m� sh�'a all�hu l� m� sh�'a alnn�su

Only that which Allah, but not people, wills shall come to pass.

مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنْ كَرِهَ ٱلنَّاسُ

m� sh�'a all�hu wa in kariha alnn�su

Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass even if people detest it.

حَسْبِيَ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْبُوبِيـنَ

�asbiya alrrabbu mina almarb�b�na

Sufficient for me is the Lord against the lorded.

حَسْبِيَ ٱلْخَالِقُ مِنَ ٱلْمَخْلُوقِيـنَ

�asbiya alkh�liqu mina almakhl�q�na

Sufficient for me is the Creator against the creatures.

حَسْبِيَ ٱلرَّازِقُ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْزُوقِيـنَ

�asbiya alrr�ziqu mina almarz�q�na

Sufficient for me is the Sustainer against the sustained.

حَسْبِيَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَالَمِيـنَ

�asbiya all�hu rabbu al`�lam�na

Sufficient for me is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

حَسْبِي مَنْ هُوَ حَسْبِي

�asb� man huwa �asb�

Sufficient for me is He Who is sufficient for me.

حَسْبِي مَنْ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِي

�asb� man lam yazal �asb�

Sufficient for me is He Who has been always sufficient for me.

حَسْبِي مَنْ كَانَ مُذْ كُنْتُ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِي

�asb� man k�na mudh kuntu lam yazal �asb�

Sufficient for me is He Who had been since eternity and still sufficient for me.

حَسْبِيَ ٱللَّهُ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

�asbiya all�hu l� il�ha ill� huwa

�Allah suffices me. There is no god save Him.

عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ

`alayhi tawakkaltu

In Him have I put my trust,

وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

wa huwa rabbu al`arshi al`a��mi

and He is the Lord of the Tremendous Throne.�

 

It is written Zayn al Muttaqin that the following multi purpose DUA'A was brought by Jibrail to the Holy Prophet and said: Whoever prays it after Fajar salat and also keeps it on the body as a ta'wid' receives the following benefits:-(i) protection from death by accident;  (ii) exemption from the questioning by munkar and nakir in the grave; (iii) relief from the fright of abandonment and melancholy in the grave; (iv) diseases will be cured;(v) safe from oppression and exploitation;(vi) the right gates from the heaven will be thrown open for those who recite this dua'a:

There is no god save Allah, the glorious, the supreme.

There is no god save Allah, the mighty, the oft forgiving.

There is no god save Allah, the one, the dominating.

There is no god save Allah, the single who has no associate, the only god, we surrender ourselves to his will.

 

There is no god save Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Ali is the vicegerent of Allah.

 

Blessing of Allah be on his best creation, the manifestation of his pleasure, Muhammad and all his pure, pious and clean children, on account of your mercy, O the most merciful. Allah is sufficient for us, he is the best supporter, the best master, the best helper.

لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْجَلِيْلُ الْجَبَّارُ

 لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْغَفَّارُ

 لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ

 لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَ نَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ

 لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ عَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّ اللهِ

 وَ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلٰي خَيْرِ خَلْقِهٖ وَ مَظْهَرِ لُطْفِهٖ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهٖ اَجْمَعِيْنَ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلٰي وَ نِعْمَ النَّصِيْرُ.
 

Keep right hand on the chest & recite 70 times  :- "Ya Fattahu" (O Opener)    يَا فَتَّاحُ 

 

Halqam asked Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s.) , � Ya Ibne Rasool Allah (a.s)! Teach me a supplication that will be beneficial for me now and also in the Hereafter.� The Imam said, � After the Fajr prayer, till the dawn, recite the following:
 

Subhan allahil azeeme wa behamdehe astaghfirallaha wa asalahu min fazlehi

It is narrated from Imam Mohammed Baqir (a.s.) that one should recite the following invocation in the mornings

 

Asbahto billahi moomenan ala deene Muhammadin wa sunnatehi wa deenil ausiae wa sunnatehim aamanto besirrehim wa alniyatehim wa shahedehim wa ghayebehim wa aaoozu billahi mimma asta aaza minhu rasoolillahi sal allaho alaihi wa aalehi wa alal ausiyae salawaat ullahi alaihim wa arghub ilallahi feeha raghebu ilaihi wa la haula wa la quwwata illa billahi.

 Holy Prophets  duas after Fajr Prayer

From Mufid al-Dun in al-Majalis: Narrated from Abu Barzah al-Aslami from his father who said: When the Noble Prophet (saws) had offered the Fajr Prayer, he raised his voice until his companions could hear him, and said:

O Allah (saw) Set right for me the religion that You have made a safeguard for me [three times].

O Allah! Set right for me this world that You have made me live in [three times].

O Allah! Set right for me my hereafter that you have made my place of return [three times].

O Allah! I seek refuge with Your pleasure from Your ire and I seek refuge with Your forgiveness from Your wrath [three times].

O Allah! I seek refuge with You � nobody can deny to the one whom You have given, and nobody can give to the one whom You have denied, and nobody�s efforts come to fruition without You.

أَللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِيْـنِيَ الَّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ لِي عِصْمَةً.

 أَللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْـيَايَ الَّتِي جَعَلْتَ فِيهَا مَعَاشِي.

 أَللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِيَ الَّتِي جَعَلْتَ إِلَيْهَا مَرْجَعِي.

 أَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَفْوِكَ مِنْ نِقْمَتِكَ.

أَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ لاَ مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَـيْتَ وَلاَ مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلاَ يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ.

From al-Qutb in his Da�awat: When the Noble Prophet (saws) "Holy Prophet"   had offered the morning prayer he said:

O Allah (saws) ! Grant me the use of my hearing and sight and let them stay with me till my death and show me the destruction of my enemies.

 أَللّٰهَمَّ مَتِّعْنِـي بِسَمْعِي وَ بَصَرِي وَاجْعَلْهُمَا الْوَارِثَيْنِ مِنِّي وَ أَرِنِـي ثَارِي مِنْ عَدُوِّي

From Sayyid Ibn Tawus in al-Iqbal: Narrated from Jafar ibn Muhammad (saws) "Muhammad"  from his father who said in a hadith: When the Noble Prophet (saws) "Holy Prophet"   had completed his morning prayer, he would (continue to) face the Qiblah until sunrise, invoking Allah (swt)    At this time, Ali (saws) ibn Abu Talib would come forward and sit behind the Noble Prophet  and the people would come to seek permission to ask for their needs, and this is what the Prophet of Allah (saws) "Prophet of Allah"   had instructed them to do.

In al-Faqih: The Noble Prophet (saws) used to say after the Fajr prayer:

O Allah (saws) ! I seek protection with You from grief and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, turning away from the truth and idle talk of men, wasting time and negligence, vileness and cruelty, destitution and poverty.

 

And I seek protection with You from the self that never gets satisfied, the heart that does not humble itself, the eye that does not shed tears, the supplication that is not heard, the prayer that does not benefit.

 

And I seek protection with You from a woman who makes me old before my time, and I seek protection with You from a son who subjugates me, and I seek protection with You from wealth that is a torment for me, and I seek protection from the deceiver who conceals any good that he sees and propagates any evil that he sees.

O Allah! Do not let an insolent one ever do me a favor and do not make him expect anything from me.

أَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحُزَنِ، وَالعَجْزِ وَالْكَسْلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلْعِ الدِّينِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ، وَبَوَارِ الأَيَّمِ وَالْغَفْلَةِ، وَالذِّلَّةِ وَالْقَسْوَةِ، وَالْعَيْلَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنَةِ.

 وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْـبَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ عَيْنٍ لاَ تَدْمَعُ، وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لاَ يُسْمَعُ، وَمِنْ صَلاَةٍ لاَ تَنْفَعُ،

 وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مَنْ إِمْرَأةٍ تُشَيِّبُنِي قَبْلَ أَوَانَ مَشِيبِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَلَدٍ يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ رَباًّ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مَالٍ يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ عَذَاباً، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ صَاحِبِ خَدِيعَةٍ، إِنْ رَأى حَسَنَةً دَفَنَهَا، وَإِنْ رَأى سَيِّئَةً أَفْشَاهَا.

 أَللّٰهُمَّ لاَ تَجْعَلْ لِفَاجِرٍ عَلَيَّ  يَدْاً وَلاَ مِنَّةً.

 

At sunrise . In Ibn Tawus Muhsabat al-Nafs, from the book of al-Rabi� from "Muhammad"  al-Mustakin: In his narration from �Abu Jafar D who said: When the redness of the sun reached the peak of the mountain, tears would flow from the  "Holy Prophet" �s  eyes and he would say:

O  "Allah" ! The day has come while my oppression has sought refuge in Your Forgiveness, and my sins have sought refuge in Your Pardon, my fear has sought refuge in Your Security, my weakness has sought refuge in Your Strength and my transient existence has sought refuge in Your Everlasting Existence.

Grant me well-being, and cover me with Your Mercy, and honor me with Your Nobleness, and keep me safe from the evil of Your creation, from the jinn and man. O Allah! O Compassionate! O Merciful!

أَللّٰهُمَّ أَمسى ظُلْمِي مُسْتَجِيراً بِعَفْوِكَ، وَأَمْسَتْ ذُنُوبِي مُسْتَجِيراً بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَأَمْسى خَوْفِي مُسْتَجِيراً بِأَمْنِكَ، وَأَمْسى ضَعْفِي مُسْتَجِيراً بِقُوَّتِكَ، وَأَمْسى وَجْهِيَ الْبَالِيَ الْفَانِي مُسْتَجِيراً بِوَجْهِكَ الْدَائِمِ الْبَاقِي،

أَلْبِسْنِي عَافِيَتَكَ، وَغَشِّنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ، وَجَلِّلْنِي كَرَامَتَكَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ خَلْقِكَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ  يَـا اللّٰهُ ياَ رَحْمٰنُ ياَ رَحِيمُ.

 

 

Subsequent to the Dawn (fajr) Prayer, say the following  prayer, as quoted from Mi�bah al-Mutahajjid:

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ علَىٰ مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد

all�humma �alli `al� mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin

O Allah, send blessings to Mu�ammad and the Household of Mu�ammad

وَٱهْدِنِي لِمَا ٱخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلحَقِّ بِإِذْنِكَ

w�hdin� lim� ukhtulifa f�hi mina al�aqqi bi-idhnika

and guide me, by Your permission, to the right about which discrepancies have taken place.

إِنَّكَ تَهْدي مَنْ تَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

innaka tahd� man tash�'u il� �ir��in mustaq�min

Verily, You guide him whom You wish to a straight path.

Again, repeat the following invocation ten times:

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

all�humma �alli `al� mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin

O Allah, bless Mu�ammad and the Household of Mu�ammad,

ٱلاوْصِيَاءِ ٱلرَّاضِيـنَ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ

al-aw�y�'i alrr���na almar�iyy�na

the consenting and pleased Successors,

بِافْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ

bi-af�ali �alaw�tika

with the best of Your blessings,

وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِافْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ

wa b�rik `alayhim bi-af�ali barak�tika

and confer upon them the best of your favors.

وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِمْ

walssal�mu `alayhim

Peace be upon them

وَعَلىٰ ارْوَاحِهِمْ وَ اجْسَادِهِمْ

wa `al� arw��ihim wa ajs�dihim

and their souls and bodies.

وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

wa ra�matu all�hi wa barak�tuh�

Allah�s mercy and blessings be upon them.

 

Say the following:to live & die on principles of Imam Ali(as)

اَللَّهُمَّ احْيِنِي عَلَىٰ مَا احْيَيْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ ابِي طَالِبٍ

all�humma a�yin� `al� m� a�iyayta `alayhi `aliyya bna ab� ��libin

O Allah, (please) make me live carrying the conducts on which You made `Al� the son of Ab�-��lib live

وَ امِتْنِي عَلَىٰ مَا مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ عَلِيُّ بنُ ابِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

wa amitn� `al� m� m�ta `alayhi `aliyyu bnu ab� ��libin `alayhi alssal�mu

and make me die on the principles for which `Al� the son of Ab�-��lib�peace be upon him�died.

 

Repeat each of the following 10 statements 10 times or better one hundred times: Mp3

اسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ وَ اتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

astaghfiru all�ha wa at�bu ilayhi

(1) I pray the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him.

اسْالُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلْعَافِيَةَ

as'alu all�ha al`�fiyata

(2) I beseech Allah for good health.

اسْتَجِيـرُ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

astaj�ru bill�hi mina alnn�ri

(3) I seek Allah�s protection against Hellfire.

وَ اسْالُهُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ

wa as'aluh� aljannata

(4) I ask Him for Paradise.

اسْالُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلْحُورَ ٱلْعِيـنَ

as'alu all�ha al��ra al`�na

(5) I ask Allah for the Paradisiacal Women.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبينُ

l� il�ha ill� all�hu almaliku al�aqqu almub�nu

(6) There is no god save Allah the King and evident Truth.

 

 Sura tawhid

(7) S�rah al-Taw��d

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد

�all� all�hu `al� mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin

(8) May Allah send blessings to Mu�ammad and the Household of Mu�ammad.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ   وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ

وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ

 

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

sub��na all�hi  wal�amdu lill�hi

 

wa l� il�ha ill� all�hu wall�hu akbaru

wa l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bill�hi al`aliyyi al`a��mi

(9) All glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah,

there is no god save Allah,Allah is the Greatest,

 

and there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high and All-great.

مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ كَانَ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

m� sh�'a all�hu k�na wa l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bill�hi al`aliyyi al`a��mi

(10) Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass and there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high and All-great.

اصْبَحْتُ ٱللَّهُمَّ مُعْتَصِماً بِذِمَامِكَ ٱلْمَنِيعِ

a�ba�tu all�humma mu`ta�iman bidhim�mika alman�`i

O Allah, I have begun this morning seeking refuge with Your invulnerable security

ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُطَاوَلُ وَلاَ يُحَاوَلُ

alladh� l� yu��walu wa l� yu��walu

that is neither touched nor caught

مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ غَاشِمٍ وَطَارِقٍ

min sharri kulli gh�shimin wa ��riqin

against the evil of all oppressive and domineering ones

مِنْ سَائِرِ مَنْ خَلَقْتَ وَمَا خَلَقْتَ

min s�'iri man khalaqta wa m� khalaqta

from among all Your animate and inanimate creatures

مِنْ خَلْقِكَ ٱلصَّامِتِ وَٱلنَّاطِقِ

min khalqika al���miti walnn��iqi

both the silent and the speaking;

في جُنَّةٍ مِنْ كُلِّ مَخُوفٍ

f� junnatin min kulli makh�fin

and being in protection against all terrifying things;

بِلِبَاسٍ سَابِغَةٍ

bilib�sin s�bighatin

and being in the complete garb

وَلاَءِ اهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ

wa l�'i ahli bayti nabiyyika

of my loyalty to the Household of Your Prophet;

مُحْتَجِباً مِنْ كُلِّ قَاصِدٍ لِي إِلىٰ اذِيَّةٍ

mu�tajiban min kulli q��idin l� il� adhiyyatin

and veiling myself against all those who intend harm to me,

بِجِدَارٍ حَصِينٍ

bijid�rin �a��nin

behind an impervious wall,

ٱلإِخْلاَصِ فِي ٱلإِعْتِرَافِ بِحَقِّهِمْ

al-ikhl��i fil-i`tir�fi bi�aqqihim

which is my sincerity in the profession of their (Divinely commissioned) right (of leadership)

وَٱلتَّمَسُّكِ بَحَبْلِهِمْ

walttamassuki bi�ablihim

and my adherence to their Rope,

مُوقِناً انَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لَهُمْ وَمَعَهُمْ

m�qinan anna al�aqqa lahum wa ma`ahum

and bearing with certainty that the Right is theirs, with them,

وَفيهِمْ وَبِهِمْ

wa f�him wa bihim

in them, and amid them.

اوَالِي مَنْ وَالَوْٱ

uw�l� man w�law

I thus accede to those whom they accept

وَاجَانِبُ مَنْ جَانَبُوٱ

wa uj�nibu man j�nab�

and depart those whom they depart.

فَاعِذْنِي اَللَّهُمَّ بِهِمْ

fa-a`idhn� all�humma bihim

O Allah, protect me, in the names of them,

مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا اتَّقيهِ يَا عَظِيمُ

min sharri kulli m� attaq�hi y� `a��mu

against the evil of all that which I fear, O All-great.

حَجَزْتُ ٱلاعَادِيَ عَنِّي بِبَدِيعِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ

�ajaztu al-a`�diya `ann� bibad�`i alssam�w�ti wal-ar�i

I am restraining the enemies against me through the Originator of the heavens and the earth;

﴿وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ ايْديهِمِ سَدّاً

inn� ja`aln� min bayni ayd�him saddan

�And We have set a bar before them

وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدّاً

wa min khalfihim saddan

and a bar behind them,

فَاغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ﴾

fa-aghshayn�hum fahum l� yub�ir�na

and (thus) have covered them so that they see not.�

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْالُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد عَلَيْكَ

all�humma inn� as'aluka bi�aqqi mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin `alayka

O Allah, I do beseech You, in the name of the right of Mu�ammad and the Household of Mu�ammad that is incumbent upon You

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد

�alli `al� mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin

to send blessings to Mu�ammad and the Household of Mu�ammad

وَٱجْعَلِ ٱلنُّورَ فِي بَصَرِي

waj`al alnn�ra f� ba�ar�

and to make light in my sight,

وَٱلْبَصِيـرَةَ فِي دِينِي

walba��rata f� d�n�

discerning in my religion,

وَٱلْيَقِيـنَ فِي قَلْبِي

wal-yaq�na f� qalb�

conviction in my heart,

وَٱلإِخْلاَصَ فِي عَمَلِي

wal-ikhl��a f� `amal�

sincerity in my deeds,

وَٱلسَّلاَمَةَ فِي نَفْسِي

walssal�mata f� nafs�

safety in my self,

وَٱلسَّعَةَ فِي رِزْقِي

walssa`ata f� rizq�

richness in my sustenance,

وَٱلشُّكْرَ لَكَ ابَداً مَا ابْقَيْتَنِي

walshshukra laka abadan m� abqaytan�

and perpetual thankfulness for You as long as you keep me alive.

 

 

As recorded in al-Kafi, the Holy Prophet (sawa) taught a dua to one of his companions who had been afflicted by disease and poverty. Soon after that, the man recovered health and got rid of poverty. The supplication is this:

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاََّ بِٱللَّهِ

l� �awla wa l� quwwata ill� bill�hi

There is neither might nor power except with Allah.

تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَمُوتُ

tawakkaltu `al� al�ayyi alladh� l� yam�tu

I put my trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never dies.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً

wal�amdu lill�hi alladh� lam yattakhidh waladan

All praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a wife or a son

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي ٱلْمُلْكِ

wa lam yakun lah� shar�kun f� almulki

and Who has not have a partner in the kingdom,

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ

wa lam yakun lah� waliyyun min aldhdhulli

and Who has not have a helper to save Him from disgrace;

وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً

wa kabbirhu takb�ran

and magnify Him with all magnificence.
Before you move from your prayer-place, repeat the following  ten times:

شْهَدُ نْ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

ash-hadu an l� il�ha ill� all�hu

I bear witness that there is no god save Allah;

وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَريكَ لَهُ

wa�dah� l� shar�ka lah�

(He is) One and Only; and there is no partner with Him;

إِلَهاً وَاحِداً

il�han w��idan

a Single God;

حَداً فَرْداً صَمَداً

a�adan fardan �amadan

One, Unique, and eternally Besought of all.

لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَلاَ وَلَداً

lam yattakhidh ���ibatan wa l� waladan

who does not beget & is no t begotten

لا اِلهَ اِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيى وَيُميتُ وَيُميتُ وَيُحيى وَهُوَ حَىُّ لا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَديرٌ

La ilaha il Allaho wahdahu la shareeka lahu lahul mulko wa lahul hamdo yohi wa yumeeto wa yohi wa huwa hayyun la yamooto be yadahil khaire wa huwa ala kulle shaiyin qadeer

�There is no God except Allah, the One, without any partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and to Him is due all Praise. He gives life and death. In His hand is the good, and He has power over all things

After you say the Tasl�m statement�repeat the Takb�r statement (i.e. all�hu akbar; Allah is the Greatest) three times while raising your hands to the level of your ears and then say   MP3

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

l� il�ha ill� all�hu

There is no god save Allah;

إِلَهاً وَاحِداً

il�han w��idan

One and Only God;

وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ

wa na�nu lah� muslim�na

and we are submissive to Him.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

l� il�ha ill� all�hu

There is no god save Allah

وَلاَ نَعْبُدُ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ

wa l� na`budu ill� iyy�hu

and we worship none save Him,

مُخْلِصينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ

mukhli��na lah� aldd�na

making our devotion sincere as in His sight,

وَلَوْ كَرَهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ

wa law kariha almushrik�na

even though the polytheists may detest it.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

l� il�ha ill� all�hu

There is no god save Allah;

رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ آبَائِنَا ٱلوَّلِينَ

rabbun� wa rabbu �b�'in� al-awwal�na

(He is) Our Lord and the Lord of our fathers of old.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ

l� il�ha ill� all�hu

There is no god save Allah;

وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ

wa�dah� wa�dah� wa�dah�

Alone, alone, alone.

نْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ

anjaza wa`dah�

He has truly fulfilled His promise,

وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ

wa na�ara `abdah�

granted His servant victory,

وَعَزَّ جُنْدَهُ

wa a`azza jundah�

made powerful His soldiers,

وَهَزَمَ ٱلحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

wa hazama al-a�z�ba wa�dah�

and defeated the parties alone.

فَلَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ

falahu almulku wa lah� al�amdu

So, sovereignty be His and praise be His.

يُحْيي وَيُميتُ

yu�y� wa yum�tu

He grants life and causes (others) to die,

وَيُميتُ وَيُحْيي

wa yum�tu wa yu�y�

and (then) causes to die and raises from the dead;

وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ

wa huwa �ayyun l� yam�tu

while He is eternally ever-living and He never dies.

بِيَدِهِ ٱلْخَيْرُ

biyadihi alkhayru

All goodness is at His Hand,

وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْء قَديرٌ

wa huwa `al� kulli shay'in qad�run

and He has power over all things.

Then, say the following:

I seek forgiveness of Allah; there is no god save Him,

astaghfiru all�ha alladh� l� il�ha ill� huwa

سْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

the Ever-living and Self-Subsisting; and to Him do I turn in repentance.

al�ayyu alqayy�mu wa at�bu ilayhi

  

Then, repeat the following verses (S�rah al-��ff�t 37:180-183) three times:

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

sub��na rabbika rabbi al-`izzati `amm� ya�if�na

Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe.

وَسَلاَمٌ عَلَىٰ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa sal�mun `al� almursal�na

And peace be on the messengers.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ.

wal�amdu lill�hi rabbi al`�lam�na

And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Then, repeat the following   prayer three times:

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

all�humma �alli `al� mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin

O Allah, (Please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَٱجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ مْرِي فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً

waj`al l� min amr� farajan wa makhrajan

cause all my affairs to arrive at a relief, prepare for me a way out,

وَٱرْزُقْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ حْتَسِبُ وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ حْتَسِبُ

warzuqn� min �aythu a�tasibu wa min �aythu l� a�tasibu

and give me sustenance from whence I think and from whence I do not think.

Qutub Rawandi reported from Imam Ali (as) that the Holy Prophet (saws) has stated, that he was afraid for him who does not remember the 4 blessings at dawn & as a result , may be snatched away from him

All Praise to Allah who made Himself known to me & did not make me blind hearted

All Praise to Allah who included me among the followers of Muhammad (saws)

All Praise to Allah who has ordained my sustenance to be in HIS own hands & not in the hands of human beings

All Praise to Allah who has covered my sins & shortcomings & did not degrade me in the eyes of Human beings

 

 اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ‏ عَرَّفَنِيْ‏ نَفْسَهٗ‏ وَ لَمْ يَتْرُكْنِيْ عَمْيَانَ الْقَلْبِ

 اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَنِيْ مِنْ اُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَ اٰلِہ

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ رِزْقِيْ فِيْ يَدَيْهِ وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ رِزْقِيْ فِي اَيْدِيْ النَّاسِ

 اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ سَتَرَ ذُنُوْبِيْ وَ عُيُوْبِيْ وَ لَمْ يَفْضَحْنِيْ بَيْنَ الْخَلَایِقِ.

 

 Begin the day with the following statement:

ابْتَدِئُ يَوْمِي هٰذَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نِسْيَانِي وَعَجَلَتِي

abtati'u yawm� h�dh� bayna yaday nisy�n� wa `ajalat�

I begin this day of mine before I should forget or hurry with:

بِسْمِ ﭐللَّهِوَمَا شَاءَ ﭐللَّهُ

bismill�hi

wa m� sh�'a all�hu

�In the Name of Allah�and �Only what Allah wills (shall come to pass).�

انْ تُمِيتَنِي غَرَقاً اوْ حَرَقاً

بِسْمِ ﭐللَّهِ وَبِٱللَّهِ

bismill�hi wa bill�hi

In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I put my trust),

وَإِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ

wa il� all�hi

to Allah (I resort),

وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

wa f� sab�li all�hi

in the way of Allah (I proceed),

وَعَلَىٰ مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ

wa `al� millati ras�li all�hi

and the principles of Allah�s Messenger,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

�all� all�hu `alayhi wa �lih�

may Allah bless him and his Household (I follow).

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱحْفَظْنِي بِحِفْظِ ٱلإِيـمَانِ

all�humma i�fa�n� bi�if�i al-�m�ni

O Allah, (please) protect me with the protection of faith

مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي

min bayni yadayya wa min khalf�

before me, behind me,

وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي

wa `an yam�n� wa `an shim�l�

to my right side, to my left side,

وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَمِنْ تَحْتِي

wa min fawq� wa min ta�t�

above me, beneath me,

وَمِنْ قِبَلِي

wa min qibal�

and in front of me.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ

l� il�ha ill� anta

There is no god save You.

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ

l� �awla wal� quwwata ill� bill�hi

There is neither might nor power except with Allah.

نَسْالُكَ ٱلْعَفْوَ وَٱلْعَافِيَةَ

nas'aluka al`afwa wal`�fiyata

We beseech You for pardon and wellbeing

مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ وَشَرٍّ

min kulli s�'in wa sharrin

from all wicked matters and all evils

فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ

f� aldduny� wal-�khirati

in this world and the Hereafter.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ عَذَابِ ٱلْقَبْرِ

all�humma inn� a`�dhu bika min `adh�bi alqabri

O Allah, I pray for Your protection against the chastisement in the grave,

وَمِنْ ضَغْطَةِ ٱلْقَبْرِ

wa min �agh�ati alqabri

the pressure of graves,

وَمِنْ ضِيقِ ٱلْقَبْرِ

wa min ��qi alqabri

and the tightness of graves.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ سَطَوَاتِ ٱللَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ

wa a`�dhu bika min sa�aw�ti allayli walnnah�ri

I pray Your protection against the calamities in nights and days.

اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ ٱلْمَشْعَرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

all�humma rabba almash`ari al�ar�mi

O Allah, Lord of the Sacred Monument,

وَرَبَّ ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

wa rabba albaladi al�ar�mi

the Sacred City,

وَرَبَّ ٱلْحِلِّ وَٱلإِحْرَامِ

wa rabba al�illi wal-i�r�mi

the lawful, and the consecration,

ابْلِغْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِّيَ ٱلسَّلاَمَ

abligh mu�ammadan wa �la mu�ammadin `ann� alssal�ma

(please) convey peace to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad on behalf of me.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اعُوذُ بِدِرْعِكَ ٱلْحَصِينَةِ

all�humma inn� a`�dhu bidir`ika al�a��nati

O Allah, I pray the protection of Your invulnerable armor

وَاعُوذُ بِجَمْعِكَ

wa a`�dhu bijam`ika

and I pray the protection of Your Wholeness

 

an tum�tan� gharaqan aw �araqan

اوْ شَرَقاً اوْ قَوَداً

aw sharaqan aw qawadan

choked, beaten,

اوْ صَبْراً اوْ مُسَمّاً

aw �abran aw musamman

murdered, poisoned,

اوْ تَرَدِّياً فِي بِئْرٍ

aw taraddiyan f� bi'rin

fallen in a well,

اوْ اكِيلَ السَّبُعِ

aw ak�la alssabu`i

eaten by a beast,

اوْ مَوْتَ ٱلْفُجَاءَةِ

aw mawta alfuj�'ati

sudden death,

اوْ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ مِيْتَاتِ ٱلسَّوءِ

aw bishay'in min m�t�ti alss�'i

or any violent death;

وَلٰكِنْ امِتْنِي عَلَىٰ فِرَاشِي

wa l�kin amitn� `al� fir�sh�

rather, cause me to die on my bed

فِي طَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ

f� ��`atika wa ��`ati ras�lika

obeying You and Your Messenger,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

�all� all�hu `alayhi wa �lih�

may Allah bless him and his Household,

مُصِيباً لِلْحَقِّ غَيْرَ مُخْطِىءٍ

mu��ban lil�aqqi ghayra mukh�i'in

following the truth unfailingly,

اوْ فِي ٱلصَّفِّ ٱلَّذِينَ نَعَتَّهُمْ فِي كِتَابِكَ

aw f� al��affi alladh�na na`attahum f� kit�bika

or to die in the ranks that You have described in Your Book

كَانَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوصٌ

ka'annahum buny�nun mar���un

as a solid structure.

اعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَوَلَدِي

u`�dhu nafs� wa walad�

I pray for myself, my children,

وَمَا رَزَقَنِي رَبِّي

wa m� razaqan� rabb�

and whatever my Lord has provided me

بِـ: �قُلْ اعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ.

biqul a`�dhu birabbi alfalaqi

the protection of �Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn

مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ.

min sharri m� khalaqa

from the evil of what He has created,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ.

wa min sharri gh�siqin idh� waqaba

from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي ٱلْعُقَدِ.

wa min sharri alnnaff�th�ti f� al`uqadi

from the evil of those who blow on knots,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ.�

wa min sharri ��sidin idh� �asada

and from the evil of the envious when he envies.�

وَاعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَوَلَدِي

wa u`�dhu nafs� wa walad�

I pray for myself, my children,

وَمَا رَزَقَنِي رَبِّي

wa m� razaqan� rabb�

and whatever my Lord has provided me

بِـ: �قُلْ اعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ.

biqul a`�dhu birabbi alnn�si

the protection of �Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ.

maliki alnn�si

the King of men,

إِلٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ.

il�hi alnn�si

the god of men,

مِنْ شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ.

min sharri alwasw�si alkhann�si

from the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Satan)

ٱلَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ.

alladh� yuwaswisu f� �ud�ri alnn�si

who whispers into the hearts of men

مِنْ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ.�

min aljinnati wa(a)lnn�si

from among the jinn and the men.�

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ

al�amdu lill�hi `adada m� khalaqa all�hu

Praise be to Allah as many as what Allah has created.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِثْلَ مَا خَلَقَ

wal�amdu lill�hi mithla m� khalaqa

Praise be to Allah as same as what He has created.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْ‏ءَ مَا خَلَقَ

wal�amdu lill�hi mil'a m� khalaqa

Praise be to Allah as full as what He has created.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ

wal�amdu lill�hi mid�da kalim�tih�

Praise be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ

wal�amdu lill�hi zinata `arshih�

Praise be to Allah as weighty as His Throne.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رِضَا نَفْسِهِ

wal�amdu lill�hi ri�� nafsih�

Praise be to Allah as much as it pleases Him.

وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إلاَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحَلِيمُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ

wa l� il�ha ill� all�hu al�al�mu alkar�mu

There is no god save Allah the Forbearing and All-generous.

وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إلاَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَلِيُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

wa l� il�ha ill� all�hu al`aliyu al`a��mu

There is no god save Allah the Most High and All-great.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَوَاتِ وَٱلارَضِينَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا

sub��na all�hi rabbi alssamaw�ti wal-ara��na wa m� baynahum�

Glory be to Allah the Lord of the heavens, the layers of the earth, and whatsoever is between them

وَرَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

wa rabbi al`arshi al`a��mi

and the Lord of the great Throne.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ دَرَكِ ٱلشَّقَاءِ

all�humma inn� a`�dhu bika min daraki alshshq�'i

O Allah, I pray Your protection against encounter of misery

وَمِنْ شَمَاتَةِ ٱلاعْدَاءِ

wa min sham�tati al-a`d�'i

and gloating of the enemies.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلْفَقْرِ وَٱلْوَقْرِ

wa a`�dhu bika min alfaqri walwaqri

I pray Your protection against poverty and rupture.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ سُوءِ ٱلْمَنْظَرِ

wa a`�dhu bika min s�'i alman�ari

I pray Your protection against evil result

فِي ٱلاهْلِ وَٱلْمَالِ وَٱلْوَلَدِ

f� al-ahli walm�li walwaladi

with regard to the wife, the property, and the children.

It is then recommended to repeat ten times the invocation of Almighty Allah�s blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household:

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

all�humma �alli `al� mu�ammadin wa �li mu�ammadin

O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

 

 
Recite 3 times: 

.I seek forgiveness from the Lord (testifying) There is no God other than Him The Living and the Everlasting Of Majesty and Splendor And I turn to Him In Repentance!� 

 

Astaghfarallah allazi la ilaha illa huwal hayyal qayyumo zuljalal e wal ikraame wa aatube ilaihi

: 

 

It is also narrated from the Prophet of Allah (a.s.) that one who recites the following supplication before the sunrise, an angel will take it on its wings and go to the Firmament . When it arrives there, the other angels ask him what it was carrying. It says that it was carrying the supplication of a momin. The angels then pray to Allah for the acceptance of the momin�s supplication. Similarly all the angels and the people of the Firmament will pray on his behalf. This supplication is treasured with the record of the good deeds of the Momin.:

- Allaho akbar Allaho akbar kabeeran wa subhan allahi bukratan wa aseela walhamdulillahi rabbil aalameena kateeran la shareeka lahu wa salallaho ala Mohammedin wa aalehi.

 

Mafatih al-Jinan: Importance of a ring of aqeeq and looking at it in the morning and while praying

Thirty-eighth: Sayyid Ibn Tawus has reported Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (�a) as saying that whoever begins his morning wearing a ring of an agate stone in the right hand, turns the stone of the ring to the side of the palm of the hand before looking at anything else, looks at the stone, recites Surah al-Qadr, and says this devotional statement, Almighty Allah will safeguard him on that day from whatever descends from the heavens, whatever ascends to it, whatever comes into the earth, and whatever comes out of it, and he will be under the protection of Almighty Allah and one of his beloved servants up to the night:

آمَنْتُ بِاللَّه وَحْدَهُ لاشَريكَ لَهُ    وَكَفَرْتُ بِالجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ وَآمَنْتُ بِسِرِّ آلِ مُحَمَّد    وَعَلانِيَتِهِمْ وَظاهِرِهِمْ وَباطِنِهِمْ وَأوَّلِهِمْ وَآخِرِهِمْ

 

Mafatih al-Jinan: Dua Shaybah al-Hudhali

Ninth: Al-Kulayni, Ibn Baabwayh, and others have reported through valid chains of authority that Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a. s. ) related the following: One day, a man called Shaybah al-Hudhali came to the Holy Prophet (s. a. w. a. ) and asked, �O Allah�s Messenger, I am an old man; I am too old and too weak to do acts of worship that I used to do, such as prayers, fasting, going on Hajj, and jihad. So, please teach me some words by which Almighty Allah will benefit me and make them as easy as possible for me. � The Holy Prophet (s. a. w. a. ) asked the man to repeat his request three times. Then the Holy Prophet (s. a. w. a. ) answered, �All trees and rocks around you have wept for you out of mercy. When you accomplish the Dawn Prayer, you may repeat the following doxology ten times:

سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ اِلاّ بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظيمِ

If you say so, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will save you from blindness, lunacy, leprosy, poverty, and senility. � The man said, �This was for worldly affairs; what do you have for me for the Hereafter?� The Holy Prophet (s. a. w. a. ) said, �You may say the following supplicatory prayer after accomplishing every prayer:

اَللّهُمَّ اهْدِنى مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَاَفِضْ عَلَىَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَانْشُرْ عَلَىَّ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَاَنْزِلْ عَلَىَّ مِنْ بَرَكاتِكَ

If this man comes on the Resurrection Day abiding by these  prayers without neglecting them deliberately, all the eight gates of Paradise will be opened before him so that he can enter from any gate he wishes. � However, according to another tradition that is reported through valid chains of authority, a different  prayer has been mentioned.

 

 

Mafatih al-Jinan: Aamal between dawn & sunrise

The time between dawn and sunrise is one of the blessed hours. Many traditions that are reported from the Ahl al-Bayt (a. s. ) have revealed the merits of this hour and encouraged on mentioning Almighty Allah, glorifying Him, and worshipping Him at this very time, which has been called by some narrations as the time of inadvertence. In this respect, Imam al-Baqir (a. s. ) is reported to have said, �Iblis (Satan) , may Allah�s curses be poured on him, distributes his troops at sunset and sunrise. Therefore, mention Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, at these two times more than any other time. Seek Allah�s protection against the evils of Iblis and his troops, and seek Him to protect your children against Satan at these two times in particular, because these two times are times of inadvertence. � It is worth mentioning that to sleep at this time is discouraged. In this regard, Imam al-Baqir (a. s. ) is also reported to have said, �Sleeping at the pre-sunrise hour is ill-omened; it dismisses sustenance and makes the face seem pale and lose its color. It is the sleep of all ill-omened ones. Verily, Allah the All-exalted distributes sustenance in the time between dawn and sunrise; therefore, beware of sleeping (at this time) . � Shaykh al-Tusi, in Misbah al-Mutahajjid, has mention the following  prayer to be said at the crack of dawn:

اَللّهُمَّ اَنْتَ صاحِبُنا فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَاَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنا اَللّهُمَّ بِنِعْمَتِكَ تَتِمُّ الصّالِحاتُ فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَاَتْمِمْها عَلَيْنا عآئِذا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النّارِ عآئِذا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النّارِ عآئِذا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النّارِ

The following prayer may be said thereafter:

يا فالِقَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لا اَرى وَمُخْرِجَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ اَرى صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَاجْعَلْ اَوَّلَ يَوْمِنا هذا صَلاحا وَاَوْسَطَهُ فَلاحا وَآخِرَهُ نَجاحا

The following prayer may be repeated ten times after that:

اَللّهُمَّ اِنّى اُشْهِدُكَ اَنَّهُ ما اَصْبَحَ بى مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ اَوْ عافِيَةٍ فى دينٍ اَوْ دُنْيا فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لا شَريكَ لَكَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ بِها عَلَىَّ حَتّى تَرْضا وَبَعْدَ الرِّضا.

Except for these , numerous  prayers have been reported to be said at this hour. However, the most favorable of these are the following statements that have been expressed in a tradition as al-Baqiyat al-salihat (The ever-abiding, good deeds) :

�سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلا اِلهَ اِلا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ اَكْبَرُ�

It is also recommended to say the following:

لا اِلهَ اِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيى وَيُميتُ وَيُميتُ وَيُحيى وَهُوَ حَىُّ لا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَديرٌ

Once you hear the call to the Dawn Prayer (i. e. adhan) , you may say the following:

اَللّهُمَّ اِنّى اَسْئَلُكَ بِاِقْبالِ نَهارِكَ وَاِدْبارِ لَيْلِكَ وَحُضُورِ صَلَواتِكَ وَاَصْواتِ دُعآئِكَ وَتسْبيحِ مَلاَّئِكَتِكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَتُوبَ عَلَىَّ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ التَّوّابُ الرَّحيمُ

 

 

 

 

Recite -Allaho akbar Allaho akbar kabeeran wa subhan allahi bukratan wa aseela walhamdulillahi rabbil aalameena kateeran la shareeka lahu wa salallaho ala Mohammedin wa aalehi.

Recite  �In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate God, guide me through Your Grace; Supplement my meager means with abundance of your generosity. Spread your Mercy All over me. Send down over me your Blessing!� 

Recite : �In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. I give, hereby, myself And all that God has give me In the custody of Allah, The one, The Everlasting, Who begets not. Nor has He been begotten. Nor there is one equal to Him! And I, hereby, take refuge with myself And that God has given me With the Lord of Day break From the evil of what He has created And from the evil of darkness when it gathers. And from the evil of those women who blow on knots And from the evil of envious when he envies. And I take refuge with myself and all that God has given me With the Lord of men, The King of men, the Sustainer of men From the evil or the slinking whisperer Who whispers in the breasts of men Of Jin and Men�. 

Recite �I seek refuge in Allah, the Hearing, the Knowing, from the evil suggestions of Shaitans and seek refuge in Allah from their presence. Surely Allah -- He is the Hearing, the Knowing�.

Then recite: �O Allah! Who transforms hearts and eyes, may my heart steadfast to Thy religion. And make not my heart to deviate after Thou hast guided me a right and grant me Thy mercy. Surely Thou art All �bestower, and by Thy mercy save me from the fire. Oh Allah! Extend the span of my life and increase my subsistence and unfold Thy Knowledge. If there is any misfortune for me in the guarded tablets make it fortunate for me, for surely thou effaces what Thou pleases and inscribes (what Thou pleases) and art heart of guarded tablet�.

 

 

Imam Ali Naqi (as) supplication after the Fajr Prayer :-

�O You, the greater than every great, Who have no partner and no vizier, O You, the Creator of the sun and the lighting moon, the shelter to the resorting fearful, the Liberator of tied captives, the nourisher of young babies, the setter of broken bones, the Merciful to the old, the light of light, the Manager of affairs, the Resurrector of those in graves, the Healer of chests, the Maker of shadow and hot, the Aware of all in chests, the Revealer of the Book, light, the great Qur'an, and the Book of Psalms,

O You, Whom angels glorify in the morning and night, O You, the Permanent and Eternal, the Bringer forth of plants in the early morning and afternoon, the Enlivener of the dead, the Resurrector of decayed bones, the Hearer of sounds, the Everlasting, the Dresser of bones that decay after death!

O You, Whom nothing distracts from any other thing, Who do not change from a state to another, Who do not need to move or advance, Whom no affair prevents from any other affair, Who cancel for charity and supplication what has been determined and affirmed in the Heaven of bad judgment, Whom no place can include or encompass, Who put remedy in what You like of things, Who keep alive from serious disease with the least of nourishment, Who remove by the least of remedy the worst of diseases,

O You, Who if promise, carry out, if threaten, pardon, O You, Who possess the needs of requesters, Who know what is there inside the consciences of the silent,

O You, the Most Magnificent, the Generous in pardoning, O You, Who have a face that does never become old, Who have infinite sovereignty, Who have inextinguishable light, Whose throne is over everything, Whose authority is over the land and the sea, Whose wrath is in the Hell, Whose mercy is in the Paradise, Whose promises are true, Whose favors are uncountable, Whose mercy is wide,

O You, the Helper of the callers for help, the Responder to the call of the compelled, O You, Who are in the high view and Your creation is in the low view,

O You, the Lord of the mortal souls, the Lord of the worn bodies, the most perceptive of seers, the most hearing of hearers, the promptest of accounters, the wisest of judges, the Most Merciful of the merciful, the Giver of gifts, the Releaser of captives, the Lord of glory, the One of piety and forgiveness,

O You, Whose limit cannot be perceived, Whose number cannot be counted, Whose aid does not cease, I bear witness, and the witness to me is honor and supply, and from me obedience and submission, and by which I hope deliverance on the day of sigh and regret, that You are Allah; there is no god but You alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your slave and messenger, Your blessing be on him and on his progeny, and that he has informed and carried out on behalf of You what was his duty to You, and that You always create, provide with livelihood, give, deny, exalt, humble, enrich, impoverish, disappoint, help, pardon, show mercy, forgive, overlook what You know, do not wrong, straiten, enlarge, omit, fix, initiate, reproduce, enliven and make die; have mercy on Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad and guide me from You, give me from Your favor, spread on me from Your mercy, and send down to me from Your blessings, for You often have accustomed me to good and favor, given me too much, and uncovered my ugly deeds.

O Allah, have blessings on Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad and hasten my deliverance, forgive my slips, pity my loneliness, take me to the best of Your worships, gift me with healthiness from my illness, plenty of my supplies, inclusive soundness in my body, insight in my religion, and help me to ask you for forgiveness before death comes and hoping stops, and help me bear death and its distress, grave and its loneliness, the scales and their lightness, the sirat and its slip, the Day of Resurrection and its terror. I ask You for the acceptance of deeds before death, and ask You for strength in my hearing and sight for the doing of the best of that You have taught and made me understand. You are the lofty Lord and I am the humble slave, and how great difference there is between us. O You, Compassionate, Benefactor, of Glory and Honor, have blessings on Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad the good, the pure!�

 
The Commander Of The Faithful, Imam Ali (AS) said: �Whoever recites these six verses every morning, Allah will protect them from any adversity, even if they were already in danger.� Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.83. Pg.337

*قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّـهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلَانَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّـهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ*
"Say, �Nothing will befall us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Master, and in Allah let the faithful trust.'"
(al-Tawbah, 9:51)

*وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّـهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ ۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ*
"And if Allah should touch you with affliction, none can remove it save He; and if He intends for you good, none can hold back His Bounty. He causes it to reach whomsoever He wills among His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Yunus, 10:107)

*وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّـهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا ۚ كُلٌّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ*
"And there is no creature on earth but that its sustenance lies with Allah, and He knows its [enduring] abode and its temporary place of lodging. All is in a manifest Book."
(Hud, 11:6)

*وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَابَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّـهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ*
"And how many a creature bears not its own provision, yet God provides for it and for you? And He is the All-Hearing and All-Knowing."
(al-'Ankabut, 29:60)

*مَّا يَفْتَحِ اللَّـهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ*
"Whatever mercy Allah unfolds for mankind, none shall withhold. And whatever he withholds, none shall release thereafter. And He is the Almighty, the Wise."
(al-Fatir, 35:2)

*وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّـهُ ۚ قُلْ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّـهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِيَ اللَّـهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَاشِفَاتُ ضُرِّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَنِي بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَاتُ رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ قُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ*
"And were you to ask them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' They would surely say, 'Allah.' Say, �Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? Should Allah desire some harm for me, can they remove His Harm? Or, should He desire some mercy for me, can they withhold His Mercy?� Say, �Allah is sufficient for me. In Him, let the trusting put their trust.�" 
(al-Zumar, 39:38)

*After reciting above verses say:*

*حسْبِیَ اللَّهُ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَیْهِ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیمِ‏ وَأَمْتَنِعُ بِحَوْلِ اللَّهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ وَقُوَّتِهِمْ وَأَسْتَشْفِعُ‏ بِرَبِّ‏ الْفَلَقِ‏ مِنْ شَرِّ ما خَلَقَ‏ وَأَعُوذُ بِمَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّهَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیمِ.*
"Say, �Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god except Him. In Him, I put my trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne. I seek protection in Allah's Power and Strength from that of others, and I ask the intercession of the Lord of the Daybreak from the evil of what He has created. I seek refuge in what Allah wills; there is no power except with Allah, the Exalted, the Magnificent.'"
 

 

 

From Sahifa Radhvia

Recitation of �YAA RAHMAANO YAA RAHEEMO� (يَا رَحْمٰنُ یَا رَحِیْمُ) after Every Salaat

Imam Reza (a.s.) said: �Any believing person who recites two hundred ninety eight (298) times sincerely and humbly it will become the cause of establishing love in the hearts of the people.�[1]

يَا رَحْمٰنُ یَا رَحِیْمُ.

yaa rahmaano yaa raheemo.

O Beneficent, O Merciful.

 

(4) Supplication to be Recited After Morning Salaat

Imam Reza (a.s.) said: �Recite this supplication after Fajr Prayer:

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. There are no means and no power without Allah the Most High, the Most Great.

bismil laahir rahmaanir raheem laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil a�liyyil a�zeem.

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ.

This is as much nearer to Chief Name of Allah as the blackness of the eye is nearer to its whiteness. It has the same effect which is of the Chief Name of Allah.[2]

(5) Another Supplication After Morning Salaat

Imam Reza (a.s.) advised: �Whoever recites forty one (41) times, with complete humbleness and humility, paying full attention, in the presence of Almighty Allah, will never be indigent of any creature and will get honor and popularity among the people.�[3]

yaa a�zeezo.

O Mighty.

 

(6) Supplication After Fajr and Maghrib Salaats

Ismail Ibn Hamam, who on the authority of Imam Reza (a.s.) who on the authority of Imam Ali Ibne Abi Taalib (a.s.) narrates: �Whoever recites this supplication seven times without talking anybody after fajr and maghrib prayers:

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. And there are no means and no power without Allah the Most High, the Most Great.

bismil laahir rahmaanir raheem wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil a�liyyil a�zeem.

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ.

Almighty Allah will dispence seventy types of calamities such as leprosy and wickedness of Satan from him.[4]

(O the master of slaves, O the annihilator of armies, O He who opens the doors (of opportunities), O the causer of causes, originate a basis for us (mention desires) which we may not make serve us on our own, for the sake of � *There is no god save Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.* � blessings of Allah be on him and on all his children...)

I begin the day, O Allah, taking refuge under Your out of reach and safe shelter where neither can harass nor ambush (me the evil of) any unjust persecutor, or preyful assaulter, easy to be found, among Your creation, irrational tongue-tied plotters and articulate brutes seeking false pretexts to commit crimes (against humanity). Clad in armour of the love of the Ahl ul Bayt of Your prophet I have been rendered secure against evil schemes, walled in and kept within the well fortified walls erected on the foundation of sincere heart and soul declaration of their rights and inseparable attachement to their friendship, knowing for certain that truth belongs to them, (it is) alongwith them in them and around them. Whoso loves them is my friend, I forsake those who drift away from them; so my Allah keep me safe from every evil that threatens me, O the almighty come between me and my enemies just as You set up the sky and the earth, and barricate their approach unto us from all sides, make them swoon amd faint inside the fence so that they do not know what to do�)

 

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALUKAL EEMAANA BIKA WAT TAS�DEEQA BINABIYYIKA WAL A�AFIYATA MIN JAMEE-I�L BALAA-I WASH SHUKRA A�LAL A�AFIYATI WAL GHINAA A�N SHARAARIN NAAS..

O Allah, I beseech You to let me have faith in You, and acknowledge the truthfulness of Your prophet; (and I beseech You to keep me safe) from all misfortunes; (and let me) thank You for the welfare, and (enable me) to dispense with the evil of the people...)

 

ALLAAHUMA FAAT�IRAS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARZ�I A�ALIMAL GHAYBI WASH SHAHAADATIR RAH�MAANAR RAH�EEM A�-HADU ILAYKA FEE HAAD�IHID DUNYAA ANNAKA ANTALLAAHU LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA WAH�DAKA LAA SHAREEKA LAKA WA ANNA MUH�AMMADAN S�ALLALLAAHU A�LAYHI WA AALIHEE A�BDUKA WA RASOOLUKA ALLAAHUMMA FAS�ALI A�LAA MUH�AMMADIN WA AALIHEE WA LAA TAKILNEE ILAA NAFSEE T�ARFATA AYNIN ABADAN WA LAA ILAA AH�ADIN MIN KHALQIKA FA-INNAKA IN WAKALTANEE ALYHAA TUBAA-I�DNEE MINAL KHAYRI WA TUQARRIBNEE MINASH SHARRI YAA RABBI LAA ATHIQU ILAA BIRAH�MATIKA FAS�ALLI A�LAA MUH�AMMADIN WA AALIIHIT TAYYIBEEN WAJ-A�L LEE I�NDAKA A�HADAN TOO-ADEEHEE ILAYYA YAWMAL QIYAAMATI INNAKA LAA TUKHLIFUL MEE-A�AD..

 

(O Allah, the creator of the heavens and the earth, knower of the unseen and the seen, the beneficent, the merciful, I make a convenant in this world that verily You are Allah, there is no god save You, one, there is no associate with You. And that Muhammad blessings of Allah be on Him and on his children, is Your servant and messenger. O Allah send blessings on Mohammad and on his children, and do not ever leave me to follow my nafs (desires) even for a flash of an eye, nor hand over me to any of Your created beings, because if You do so it will bring me near to evil and keep away from good. O Lord, I do not put trust in my thing save Your mercy. So I deposit my covenant with You to use it on the day of judgement. Verily You do not break promise...)

Recite Surah Al Qadr 10 times..

 

TAQIBAAT -E- SALAT FAJR Arabic copiable format

After the dawn (fajr) prayer, recite the following supplication, as quoted from Misbah al-Mutahajjid:

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اهْدِنِي لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِاِذْنِكَ اِنَّكَ تَهْدِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ اِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ. 

Then, recite the following 10 times:

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْاَوْصِيَاءِ الرَّاضِينَ الْمَرْضِيِّينَ بِاَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَ بَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِاَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ عَلٰى اَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَ اَجْسَادِهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ .

This invocation of God�s blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household has also been reported to be recited on Fridays with a great reward.

Also, recite the following:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَحْيِنِي عَلٰى مَا اَحْيَيْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ اَبِي طَالِبٍ وَ اَمِتْنِي عَلٰى مَا مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ اَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامْ.

Also, repeat each of the following statements one hundred times:

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَ اَتُوبُ اِلَيْهِ
اَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَافِيَةَ
اَسْتَجِيرُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ النَّارِ
وَ اَسْأَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ
اَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْحُورَ الْعِينَ .لَا اِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ
صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَ لَا اِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَ اللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ كَانَ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ.

You may then recite the following:

اَصْبَحْتُ اللّٰهُمَّ مُعْتَصِمًا بِذِمَامِكَ الْمَنِيعِ الَّذِي لَا يُطَاوَلُ وَ لَا يُحَاوَلُ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ غَاشِمٍ وَ طَارِقٍ مِنْ سَائِرِ مَنْ خَلَقْتَ وَ مَا خَلَقْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ الصَّامِتِ وَ النَّاطِقِ فِي جُنَّةٍ مِنْ كُلِّ مَخُوفٍ بِلِبَاسٍ سَابِغَةٍ وَلَاءِ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحْتَجِبًا مِنْ كُلِّ قَاصِدٍ لِي اِلَىٰ اَذِيَّةٍ بِجِدَارٍ حَصِينٍ الْاِخْلَاصِ فِي الْاِعْتِرَافِ بِحَقِّهِمْ وَ التَّمَسُّكِ بِحَبْلِهِمْ مُوْقِناً اَنَّ الْحَقَّ لَهُمْ وَ مَعَهُمْ وَ فِيهِمْ وَ بِهِمْ اُوَالِي مَنْ وَالَوْا وَ اُجَانِبُ مَنْ جَانَبُوا فَاَعِذْنِي اَللّٰهُمَّ بِهِمْ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا اَتَّقِيهِ يَا عَظِيمُ حَجَزْتُ الْاَعَادِيَ عَنِّي بِبَدِيعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ اَيْدِيهِمْ سَدّاً وَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدّاً فَاَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ .

This supplication, which is reported from Imam AliAmeer al-Momineen(عليه السلام) at the Night of Mabit, is advisably said each morning and evening.

In Tahdhib al-Ahkam (by Shaykh al-Tusi), it is reported that whoever repeats the following ten times after the Dawn Prayers, Almighty Allah will save him from blindness, insanity, leprosy, poverty, and (house) demolition or dotage:

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Shaykh al-Kulayni reports Imam Ja�far al-Sadiq(عليه السلام) as saying: Whoever repeats the following seven times after the Dawn and Sunset Prayers, Almighty Allah will saved him from seventy kinds of misfortune the least of which are flatulence, leprosy, and insanity; and his name will be erased from the list of the condemned ones, if it was listed there, and will be added to the list of the successful ones:

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Imam Ja�far al-Sadiq(عليه السلام) is also reported to have said that one who desires to enjoy both the worldly life and the next world, and one who has eye ache, should utter the following supplication after the dawn and sunset prayers:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْكَ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اجْعَلِ النُّوْرَ فِي بَصَرِيْ وَ الْبَصِيرَةَ فِي دِينِي وَ الْيَقِينَ فِي قَلْبِي وَ الْاِخْلَاصَ فِي عَمَلِي وَ السَّلَامَةَ فِي نَفْسِي وَ السَّعَةَ فِي رِزْقِي وَ الشُّكْرَ لَكَ اَبَداً مَا اَبْقَيْتَنِي

In �Uddat al-Dai, Shaykh Ibn Fahad reports Imam Alī ibn Mūsā ar-Riḍā (عليه السلام) to have said: Whoever recites the following after the Dawn Prayer, will have all his requests made easy-to-gain for him and will be saved by Almighty Allah against every thing that aggrieves him:

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ اُفَوِّضُ اَمْرِي اِلَى اللّٰهِ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ فَوَقَاهُ اللّٰهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوْا لَا اِلٰهَ إِلَّا اَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ اِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَ نَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَ كَذٰلِكَ نُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ فَانْقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَ فَضْلٍ لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ لَا مَا شَاءَ النَّاسُ،
مَا شَاءَ اللّٰهُ وَ اِنْ كَرِهَ النَّاسُ حَسْبِيَ الرَّبُّ مِنَ الْمَرْبُوبِينَ حَسْبِيَ الْخَالِقُ مِنَ الْمَخْلُوقِينَ حَسْبِيَ الرَّازِقُ مِنَ الْمَرْزُوقِينَ حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ حَسْبِي مَنْ هُوَ حَسْبِي حَسْبِي مَنْ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِي حَسْبِي مَنْ كَانَ مُذْ كُنْتُ لَمْ يَزَلْ حَسْبِي حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ لَا اِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ.
